Ever feel like you’re ready to take off but the runway lights keep flickering?

We explore a “flight check” week: prepare with care, slow down without losing heart, and use beginner’s mind to make better choices. Our tarot card of the week adds the Page of Air to spark curiosity, new ideas, and practical steps that create ease.

Key talking points include:

• energy update from the Akashic Records
• preparation as a path to peace and ease
• kitchen and cockpit metaphors for planning
• dealing with slowdowns, retrogrades, and frustration
• clearing clutter for focus and utility
• creative substitutions and resourcefulness
• Page of Air meanings and affirmations
• practical checklists and small daily actions

If the collective energy feels noisy—hello, Mercury retrograde—this is your cue to clear clutter outside and inside: tidy a corner you’ve ignored, prune a task list that grew wild, name a feeling that kept looping. Every bit of order frees attention, and attention is what moves the needle.

We share keywords, gentle affirmations, and low-friction practices that help you revise assumptions and notice fresh paths. By the time clarity lands, your systems, space, and spirit will be ready—less turbulence, more lift.

If this resonates, tap follow, share it with a friend who needs a calmer runway, and leave a review so more people can find Your Heart Magic. What single step will you prep today to make tomorrow feel lighter?

Tune in next week for a new episode to support and empower your light.

SPEAKER_01 (00:13):
Aloha, and welcome to Your Heart Magic, an
illuminating space wherepsychology, spirituality, and
heart wisdom meet.
Here's your host, Dr.
Bethane Kapansky Wright, author, psychologist, and spiritual
educator.

SPEAKER_00 (00:32):
Aloha, everybody.
Welcome to Your Heart Magic.
This is Dr.
Bethane Kapansky Wright, and wehave an energy update from the
Akashic Records today.
We have our tarot card of theweek, and we will be talking
about how do we take all thisguidance into our life and apply
it in a practical way so that wecan live with more peace and

(00:55):
more ease.
I am laughing as I say thesewords.
I needed this message this week.
I just did this whole episodeand I forgot to press record.
So I'm hopping back on here todo it again.
And the irony is that themessage this week is focused on
preparation.
That is the energy and therecords for this upcoming week.

(01:16):
And the key words and guidancereally is about being prepared,
double checking, making surethat we have everything in order
so that when we are ready to dothe thing, whatever it is, we're
able to do it more efficientlyand it goes better.
And so I'm taking my ownmedicine.
I obviously wasn't prepared anddidn't stop and check and make

(01:40):
sure that the episode wasrecording.
And I'd even turn the button on.
So touche Akashic Records.
But when I opened the recordsfor this week, as always, I
received a couple images to helporient us to what the energy is.
And the first one that I saw wassomebody doing meal prep as if

(02:02):
they are getting ready for agiant feast or having some big
event.
And I had this sense of somebodybeing in a kitchen and they're
slicing and dicing and cuttingthings up, and there's food on
the counter.
They have a checklist andthey're making sure they have
the ingredients.
They are making sure they knowexactly when different things

(02:24):
might be going on the stove orgoing in the oven.
And again, there was thatemphasis on preparation.
The emphasis was not on thefeast or the event that is
actually happening that they'repreparing for.
It was on the act itself ofmaking sure everything is well
ordered and really taking one'stime in doing that.

(02:46):
And the second image that I sawwas of pilots who were checking
a plane.
They were in the cockpit, running down the checklist and
doing all the things that Isuppose pilots probably do
before they take off and makingsure that everything was well
ordered in the plane.
And I saw the words flightcheck, which I thought was a

(03:09):
really nice summation of thetheme this week.
It's a week of flight check.
It is a week of making sure thatwhatever it is in our life that
we might be preparing to moveforward on whatever plans we
have, whatever we might besetting goals towards in our
external world, perhaps thingsthat we are working towards,

(03:33):
want to do.
Maybe it's something having todo with our internal world.
And we have been working onrelease work or clearing space
inside of ourselves, lettingsomething go, processing our
feelings.
There's so many ways that thiscollective message might apply
to each of us as an individualthat can touch on our outer

(03:56):
world as well as our innerworld.
But the emphasis is on the ideaof taking our time to prepare
and using the time that we haveright now to make sure that
we've dotted our I's and crossedour T's and made our list and
checked it twice and all ofthose things as much as
possible.

(04:16):
And the idea behind it is that, first of all, of course, life is
always going to come withcurveballs.
There will be those times thatwe beautifully prepare and then
nothing goes as planned.
And that's a whole other lessonon creative reinvention and
being adaptive.
But oftentimes when we takesmall practical steps and we

(04:39):
make sure that things are wellordered, whatever it is that
we're working on actually doesmove with more peace and more
ease.
For example, if you werechecking things on a plane or a
rocket ship that was going tolaunch, you would want to make
sure that everything was wellordered before takeoff to ensure

(04:59):
that there is the safest trip, travel, orbit, whatever it is
that our flying apparatus isdoing as possible.
And so that's why we prepare.
And right now, there might be acollective sense of frustration
that people feel with energyslowing down, even though it
feels like there is a lot thatis happening in the collective,

(05:22):
because there is a lot happeningin the collective.
But how that might translate tous individually with the various
retrogrades right now, all thecollective chaos is that we have
a sense of plans not happeningas quickly as we would have
liked.
Maybe some of us had anexpectation that we would have
taken a step or figuredsomething out or had the answer

(05:44):
to something, whatever it is inour lives by now.
And so we feel like we're notmoving fast enough or feel
frustrated that whatever wethought should have happened
hasn't happened.
So if you are experiencing that, you're in good company because
many people are feeling thatright now.
And what we can do in this timeis to continue to be prepared

(06:07):
and just take care of thoseday-to-day tasks and making sure
that things are as ordered aspossible.
I actually asked the AkashicRecords, can you help us find
perspective on what's the valuein that?
And they gave this really greatmetaphor that imagine if in your
house or wherever it is youmight live, if there's a junky

(06:30):
corner or a dirty storage spaceor something that you might walk
past all the time and it's notreally hurting anything, but
it's not helping anythingeither.
And if you were to take the timeto clean it up, straighten it
out, tidy it, you might have amore harmonious sense of not
only how nice your space looks, but you might find that there

(06:54):
was new utility in it and thatyou could actually use it for
something that you didn't evenrealize because you were so used
to it being cluttered.
And that's the value of havingextra time right now or having
more time to keep working onwhatever plans it is that you're
making for your life.
It is to be able to attend tothe things that maybe you might

(07:17):
not bother with otherwise, tolook at anything in your life
you might have neglected, anything that you know needs to
be confronted, changed, cleanedout, decluttered, released.
Again, this can be a metaphorfor what is happening
externally.
It might be literal forsomething you need to do in your

(07:38):
life.
And it can also be talking aboutthings in our internal self and
our emotional self, our innerself.
There's also a lot of supportthis week for creative use of
resources and the idea that whenwe might not always have exactly
what we think we need or exactlywhat we wanted, sometimes we can

(07:59):
be very innovative and creativein figuring out an alternative
solution.
So if our person who is mealprepping and getting things
ready for some reason can'taccess going to the store and
they realize they've forgottenan ingredient, how might they be
creative with that?
They might come up with asubstitution and use something

(08:19):
that they already had.
They might decide to scrap thedish they were making and use
what they do have as ingredientsand create something different
entirely.
It might change the consistencyof how something's going to be
and change the form.
There's a lot of different waysthat this might come through,
but creative use of resources, being creative in how we think

(08:44):
about something this week, allowing ourselves to surprise
ourselves and to have a newidea, a new perspective on
something, a lot of support forthat this week.
So if you've been waiting forinsight or epiphany or having
breakthrough on something, theenergy this week really supports
it.
And our card of the week goes sobeautifully with this message.

(09:06):
It is the page of air.
I have been using the Good Tarotby call-up Baron Reed to pull
cards for the energy updates onthis podcast.
And in this particular deck, thepage of air is this woman
dressed all in white, andthere's these beautiful angel
wings behind her that are spreadout.
And it looks like she's about totake flight.

(09:29):
So I love the idea that themessage this week is flight
check.
And the card we received has animage of somebody on it who
looks like they're getting readyto launch, getting ready to take
off.
And pages are usually cards thatare more of the, we'll call them
the freshman in the tarot deck.

(09:50):
A page is a beginner, it's anovice, it's somebody who is
curious, and they have perhapsenrolled in school for the first
semester, and they're reallyeager and ready to learn, but
there's a lot that they don'tknow.
So pages in the tarot deck arenever our graduating senior
class.
They are usually more of afreshman sophomore energy, more

(10:13):
in a higher education kind ofsense.
And there's a curiosity andinquisitiveness and eagerness to
learn.
Sometimes pages can be a littlebit rash and they want to know
right now, or they might thinkthey know more than they do.
And that's sort of the shadowstuff of the page archetype and
the tarot deck.

(10:34):
But the light side of it, theside of it that really supports
us is permission to not know inour lives and to find that
energy of just being curious andopen and admitting, well, I
don't know.
And I'm open to learning and I'mopen to figuring it out.
Air energy is about the mind,it's about thoughts,
perspectives, how we think, howwe construct our thoughts and

(10:58):
our ideas and the perceptionsthat might inform how we see the
world.
Mercury is in retrograde rightnow, and Mercury is connected to
the mind.
We also have a new moon that'shappening on the 20th, the day
this podcast comes out.
So I feel like there's a lot ofenergy right now happening
cosmically that supports us toreconsider our thoughts, to keep

(11:21):
regrouping, rethinking, andallowing ourselves to be
surprised and to be in more of abeginner's mind.
I want to share today a couplekeywords from this card that are
written in the guidebook thatgoes with it.
There's also a few affirmationsthat really represent the page
of air energy.

(11:42):
The key words are new ideas, atheory not yet proven,
curiosity, and new focus.
And ways that we might thinkabout that energy in our life
are this calls for greaterinvestigation as we've only
scratched the surface.
I don't really know.
That's interesting.

(12:03):
If I explore this way ofthinking, what can I learn?
So use this week to revisit yourchecklist, do the tangible
things you feel called to do.
Maybe you feel called to workwith this symbolically by
cleaning up something in yourlife or taking care of something
you've been putting off orneglecting, and you want to do a

(12:25):
little bit of work, a little bitof decluttering and clearing out
around that, and allowingyourself not to know, but to
instead stay open to learningand open to how things might
unfold.
All right, I can see that thismessage actually recorded.
So, second time to charm forthis week.

(12:46):
I hope everybody has an amazingweek.
I will be back next week with anew Your Heart Magic episode.
We will be looking at an energyupdate.
We will also be tying in thearchetype of Sagittarius and how
Sagittarius season might impactthe quality of energy right now.
As always, have a beautiful weekand be well.

(13:08):
Be love, be you, and be magic.
