Speaker 1 (00:00):
That was going to shoot President Trump. Fifty eight year
old man. That's not your normal suspect here to talk
about it with us. As Jeff Atticut, director of the
Warrior Defense Project at Saint Mary's Law School, Jeff, if
you took it the and take a look at the
typical profile of somebody who would do something like this
this guy. Does this guy fit the profile in your mind? Certainly?
His ages is a lot older than you would expect. Well,
(00:23):
it is.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
But I think the main takeaway here is the rhetoric.
If you look at the rhetoric from the Democrat Party,
it is absolutely over the top. You know, if you
google the term Hitler Trump, your email will blow up
or your search engine will blow up. You know, he's
going to destroy the country, destroy democracy, create a blood bath.
(00:44):
And this stuff is just absolutely outrageous, and there's no
doubt that it's fueling a lot of this hatred. And
that's all that you know that this party seems to
have is just attack Trump. Trump's evil, Trump's the devil.
And what do you think is going to happen? This is?
You know, this, this we saw in the last assassination attempt,
and for about two days you know, the kind of
(01:05):
cool things, and they went right back to it during
the debate. That's all Harris did is talk about how
evil Trump is, nothing about her own policies, and of
course is going to inspire individuals that already have you know,
middle issues obviously to do acts to you know, to
try to kill President Trump. It's just I think it's
(01:26):
a wake up call for the American people that this
nonsense has got to stop. And I think rational people
understand that, you know that this is politics, this is
not warfare.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yeah, I mean, here we are and days to come.
I mean, do you even think that this was was
this totally lone wolf or was this something that comes
from a more coordinated you're saying that it's the rhetoric
that is almost the coordination for this, or do you
think there's something more sinister than that.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
No, I think it's a rhetoric. I don't think they're
actually plotting to kill President Trump, but they're they're obviously
using this fear tactic to try to get people to
vote for Harris. Again, there's no real policy issues that
the Democrats are putting out, and she's flip flopped them
almost every issue. But clearly if you watch the debate,
one thing you'll see is just contempt on her face.
(02:18):
And that's what the you know, the moderators, of course assisted.
And every time you watch mainstream media, it's it's almost
like they they're they're in a rage when they talk
about Donald Trump and anything that he does, and they's
just negative coverage, negative, negative, negative. Uh. They can't find
anything to say at all, uh that's positive about President Trump.
And when they do speak, it's just this mombastic uh
(02:41):
terminology you know, Hitler and and uh they repeat the
fact that he's a racist and he's the devil and
literally it's it's people that you know that hear this
stuff that aren't mentally stable anyway, they're going to take
it to heart. And if you say, you know, if
you actually believe that Hitler would destroy the country, these
people in there, they're justified and they're actually doing the
(03:03):
right thing. And again, normal people, if you look at
President Trump in the last four years, none of these
things happened, So you have a record to look at.
If it was going to destroy the country and you know,
round up people and do all the other nonsense that
these people talk about, wouldn't he have done it the
first time.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Well, you're you're asking irrational people to behave in a
rational way. Unfortunately I do the same thing. Unfortunately that
doesn't work, does it?
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Well, apparently not. But I think I think this will
show many people that you know, this is just absolute nonsense.
I was with President Trump on Friday. I had an
opportunity to talk to him, and you know, just a
more kind, gentle, outgoing person you could ever imagine, very humble,
very genuine. You know, he talks in strange ways, but
(03:50):
he's from New York and that's just his style. He's
always talked that way. When you kind of I tell people,
listen to him with your eyes and not with your ears.
You'll be all right. Look what he's done. He's done
more to support this country and any president in my opinion,
says George Washington. He absolutely loves this country, loves the military,
and loves the American people. There's not a racist bone
in his body. There's not a prejudicial bone in his body.
(04:12):
He's not anti Jewish, he's not anti anybody. He's just
pro American. And that seems to just absolutely throw many
people into an absolute fit.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
And seven weeks to election, day yup, and especially the
people
