Speaker 1 (00:02):
There's no apology coming. Five to fifty two is our
time here in Houston's morning news. The media continues to
gaslight us regarding Donald Trump, whether you talk about Doge
or his policies, or you're talking about his popularity or
lack thereof. Brian Jundeth joins, US physician and writer for
The American Thinker. I've seen stories yesterday, last couple of days, actually, Brian,
about how Trump's poll numbers have gone negative. His poll

(00:25):
numbers haven't gone negative, have they?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
No, they haven't. He has net favorability, His numbers are good.
His speech the other night was very well received, probably
seventy five percent approval on it, which is unheard of
and our current divided climate. But the point is, I'm
seeing on social media all these people saying, oh, I

(00:48):
have friends that regret voting for Trump, or they're remorseful
and they're going to try to learn from their mistake.
And I don't buy that at all. I don't know
anybody that voted for Trump that's regretful of it. Everybody's happy,
and if anything, they want him to be doing more
and faster.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
So is this about do you think what did their
personal belief system or what they want the American people
to believe. Do they believe that they can change a
positive opinion of President Trump based on just repeating this
lie that his popularity is winning and people regret voting for.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Him, exactly, just trying to tear him down and make
his supporters have doubts about it. I know other people
are doubting, and maybe I should doubt too. It's trying
to create a herd mentality of nonsupport for him, and
it's not working.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Well. They already tried it with the election, right, I mean,
this is how they This is how they tried it
with the election, and all it did was drive his
numbers is popularity numbers up and lead to more votes,
led to a landslide, virtual landslide.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Exactly, had he won all his swing states, he won
the popular vote, first time a Republican done that in
a long time. And it's not working. It's just they're
they're trying to gas light and they're trying to pick
at his base, trying to peel off supporters to make
him less popular and have him lose support for his

(02:16):
agenda and his nominees and cabinet picks et cetera.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Well, my guess is they would at least like to
do enough damage to turn things around in two years
when we have our next election, because that would be
traditional for whatever whoever the sitting president is, their party
usually loses, especially in the in the House. But I
kind of think, and I'd love to know what you
think on miss Brian June dev I kind of think
that what they are doing currently, especially with that little

(02:42):
little stunt they were pulling at Trump's speech the other night,
you know, with the little paddles with the signs on
them and they're silent protest and al Green acting up
and all that, I think that's going to have the
opposite effect if they don't come up with some positive
way to show that they can still relate at least,
what do the American people? This is gonna beck This
could be a big time backfire on them come two

(03:04):
years from now.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
I agree. The Democrats have no leadership and they don't
have any agenda. They made fools of themselves the other night.
They constantly set they didn't applaud for anything. All these
great things, good things for America, these human interest stories,
honoring fallen heroes, honoring the kid with brain cancer. They

(03:27):
couldn't share for anything, and it's just showing them to
be a bunch of sourpusses that really have nothing. All
they want is to run against Trump's agenda and pick
apart what he's doing and his supporters, and it's just
not going to work. They need something positive if they
want to be a serious party.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Well, hopefully they don't wake up in the next two years.
That's correct, all right, Brian, Thank you appreciated. Brian Jinda,
posician and writer for American Thinker. It's five fifty six
