1) RVs are driving local growth
It is easy to see from a first-of-its-kind economic impact study how northern Indiana has benefited so much from the recovery of the recreational vehicle industry.
Indiana has 49 percent, or 111 of the nation’s 228 RV manufacturer plants, according to“RVs Move America,” a study released earlier this month by the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.
2) Political contributions on the rise in region
Political contributions made by northeast Indiana residents provide some insight into the grasp this year’s presidential race is having on the nation. (more percent republican than in years past)
3) Show us the money
A new law, effective July 1, will give businesses and municipalities a little better reading on where food and beverage tax revenue in Allen County is generated.
