So I have a Google Pixel and there's one I
usually delete my small chats, but there's a chat that
goes on with the family chat and my son's chat,
and I needed some information that I knew was from
like twenty twenty four. So when I did the search,
my phone brought me to the chats from the text
messages from twenty twenty three. And then I realized after

searching and searching, the entire year of twenty twenty four
was gone and partial twenty twenty five. And they couldn't
figure out how it happened, because I said, how do
you delete like a whole year? Like it was just gone?
So I thought, well, maybe it'll help. I had to
upgrade anyway, so I upgraded to the Google Pixel nine,

thinking number one. I had to do it anyway. But
even when I upgraded, they came back and they had
no explanation. So I lost a whole year of really
important information and partial twenty five twenty twenty five. It
really sucked.

I wonder if something's going on because my wife's iPhone.

So well, I actually kind of feel violated by my
phone right now. I feel violated by Apple and my
iPhone and specifically like my Apple music. I feel like
my phone is doing what it did to us when
it downloaded that YouTube album without our Permission's.

Still salty about that ten years ago.

As for that, why is that here?

So if I ever like want to listen to music
before like I get in the shower, if I'm getting
ready or hop in the car, I'll say, hey, Siri,
play music on my iPhone and usually they'll just pop
up like random songs that are cur rated to me
and my vibe in the playlist that I've already created,
and it'll just shuffle them. So yesterday, I'm sitting in

the car and usually, you know, it's like Chapelerone, Olivia Dean,
you know, some Drake Future. And I get up there
and the next song is the song I've never heard,
and it's a Bad Bunny song. So I'm like, okay,
I'm driving. I've never heard this song before, but I

like it. And then I'm just driving as I'm listening
to it, and then I skip the song and it's
another Bad Bunny song, and I'm like, I've never heard
this before. I don't understand what's going on, and so
I'm just driving and then it dawns on me. I'm like, okay,
I know Apple always highlights the Super Bowl performers. I

feel like my algorithm is like force feeding me Bad Bunny.

Doesn't Apple like sponsor the halftimes, it's their halftime show.

Yeah, they're sneaking Bad Bunny into my into my playloud,
which I'm not mad at it, but like, let me
become a fan on my own, Like I know, I
know Bad Bunny I'm just not familiar with his music,
and I'm gonna watch the halftime.

So a couple of years ago, my phone blacked out
and I had had a ton of reminders on it
for like the future, So the future passed things that
I really needed to keep on my on my head
that I would never remember. Apparently iPhones don't back up
to the cloud for reminders, and my phone completely blacked

out one day. And when I finally revived it and
got on the phone with Apple support and talked to him,
they said, you have to spread the word. We didn't
even know that this was an issue, this one agent.

He's like, I did not know.

They don't back up to the cloud.

They reminders don't back up to the cloud. That's wild, no,
because whenever I've switched phones, you know, you get a
new phone and upgrade, the old reminders show up.

my phone crashed and lost all of my contacts and everything,
the contacts came back, but not the reminders.
