Greetings from Fox Sports and FS one. We're live in

for making us your choice today one hour from now.
(00:50):
Where Colin was right, Where Colin was wrong. Well, we
said before the season, Jmax said Chiefs won't make the playoffs.
I said they will. But the dynasty is over and
it looks like this is how they end. And you
were watching it last night, so trust your eyes. They
look a little slower. They don't look like Seattle. They
(01:13):
don't look like the Packers. Travis Kelcey another big drop.
They can't generate a consistent pass rush. The old line
got pushed around. They don't have a running game. Even
Andy Reid tie game kind of takes a big swing.
Didn't have to gave the Texans points. So this is
how dynasties end. They don't fall off a cliff. They
(01:35):
dominate for years, go to Super Bowls, win, win Super Bowls,
and then they start winning really close games. That was
Kansas City last year, and then they start losing all
those close games. Oh wait, that's Kansas City this year.
So again, you watched the Rams yesterday, you watched Seattle
(01:56):
in a blowout win. You watched Green Bay or the Lions.
You see you an aggressive and speed and remarkably electric players.
I saw some of that from the Texans last night.
There's no question watching that game and I thought, uh,
warm weather, it's Houston up in the cold weather. Texans
(02:16):
with a better team, mora lead athletes. Now, when they
pay CJ. Stroud, you know, four hundred million plus, they'll
start looking like Kansas City. But I mean again, Patrick
Mahomes once again had to be They don't want him
to be the leading rusher. That's not what Kansas City wants.
But Mahomes had to be the leading rusher. And do
you know what the Chiefs are when he is zero
(02:37):
and four this year. They don't want him to be
the leading rusher. They don't want him to take those
hits Travis Kelsey. It's over, Brett Veach. The GM's got
to rebuild that D line and O line. They got
to hit on their draft picks. But this is what
happens when you pay a superstar quarterback and you're drafting
at the bottom of the first round, in the bottom
of the second, and the bottom of the third, teams
(02:57):
catch up. The NFL doesn't want dynasties. They don't need dynasties.
Everybody gets huge ratings these days. What they want is
you can be dominant for a few years. We'd love
you to have a superstar quarterback, but you're gonna get
lousy draft picks and you're gonna have to pay them.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
And the roster is gonna get thin.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
And when I watch Kansas this is why Brady in
New England kept rebooting their you know, their tight ends,
their wide receivers, they're running backs. They're all line with
very few exceptions. I mean Kansas City this year on
third down. Third down's my favorite down in the NFL
because you can judge a lot, you can judge coaching
line play. How smart your quarterback is Kansas City this
(03:39):
year thirty five percent on third down. That's what the
Raiders and Jets territory is, so they're just that's the reality.
But trust your eyes and you can call Kansas City
they need a reboot. I think it's closer to a rebuild.
That offensive line is a mile from the Rams, it's
a mile from the bron I watched the Broncos yesterday.
(04:00):
I mean a guy at one point Boonix is twenty five.
At thirty, it's just pitching catch. They can run, they
can pass, they have time. So Kansas City's got some
work to do. The on line does not get a push.
They don't really have a top back. The Texans were
absolutely the better team. Patrick Mahomes passer rating. Can't blame
it on him. He didn't have as good as people
(04:20):
around him. But I thought the Andy Reid go for it,
tied at ten, and he sees it, and he senses it.
Andy understands, and he had never done that before. He
had never called that that deep in his territory, fourth quarter,
tied game, he'd never done that before. And Andy Reid
knows what he's doing. But he understands what's happening. The
(04:40):
margins are not only shrinking, they're gone to the second
best team on the field when they played Denver, or
last night when they played the Texans, and here was
Mahomes after.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
I know we were not winning games, but that mindset
that these guys have in this locker room, in the
games that were not winning, you can never question the
fight of this team. And obviously when I executed at
the hot at the right moments and we're not making
those plays by the end of the day, will never
question that. And I think you'll see that for these
last four weeks.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Okay, so let's talk Packers Bears at Lambeau. This game
was not about green Bay. Green Bay was a touchdown favorite.
Green Bay was at home. Green Bay is a team
we talk about the last thirty years, whether it's Jordan Love,
Aaron Rodgers, or Brett Farv. Green Bay is always in
the Super Bowl conversation. This game was about the Chicago Bears.
(05:36):
Are they legit? So they go to Philadelphia and win?
And what's everybody say? Well, I mean the Eagles, Yeah,
they're broken the Bears. This is a this is a
real game. Yeah, I watched it. That's the best loss
by any team in the NFL. Chicago's legit. They dominate
the second half. They do a lot of things good
teams do. They win the turnover battle, they take the
(05:58):
ball away, they run the ball. They've got a smart
offensive coach. They're very dynamic at quarterback. Yes, Caleb Williams
is uneven, so is bon Nicks. So are all the
young quarterbacks not named Drake May. They're all uneven. So
what of course, Jordan Love looks more polished and refined,
because at this point, Jordan Love's a top five or
(06:19):
six quarterback. Of course he looks better than Caleb Williams.
This is six year in the league. That's a lot
of practice in a lot of games. Of course, Matt
Lafleur in green Bay looks more polished and making big
plays late to seal the win. This is what green
Bay has been doing for three decades. But for Bears,
(06:41):
this is a whole new ball game. This was new territory.
The country was watching and they dominated the second half.
And yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. And Kayleb Williams does
not throw a lot of picks. I didn't know if
they were going to get a touchdown. I was surprised
he through an interception. He acknowledged that after the game.
(07:01):
But the truth is, go look at those last two
at Lambeau. Chicago drives against great Green Bays Deef Jeff
Hafley's defense is fantastic. They had a seventeen play, eight
and a half minute drive.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
That is it.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Nobody's doing that against the Packers, nobody this year. Then
they followed up with a sixty yards in three minutes.
So they can score quick, they can move the ball fast,
they can beat you up, they can go eighteen plays.
They're doing it in the second half. You and I
watched that game. You know who was gassed in the
second half. It wasn't the Bears. The Packers defense was gassed.
And that Green Bay defense is well coached and really good,
(07:37):
and they were tired. So this is all new territory
and the good news for Chicago. Yes, you lost, but
you get the Lions at home, you get this Green
Bay team at home. So the Chicago Bears are still
gonna control the destiny. But we talk about this all
the time when you look at teams. I mean, to me,
(08:01):
I losing that game, I was like, that's about as
good as a loss is those last two drives for Chicago.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
And again, Caleb.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Williams isn't gonna look as polished as Jordan loves of course,
I mean Jordan loves sat for three years before he
got the keys to the car. And it's a Mercedes.
You know, it's a nice car in green Bay. So
he looks. I mean he throws the ball now like
Aaron used to. And now all the green Bay receivers
Watson's healthy and reads ready to go, so they've drafted well.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Green Bay is a Super Bowl team.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Green Bay is a polished, refined, brilliantly coached, execution, efficiency,
smart development.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Everything about green.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Bay is polish, class excellent. Chicago whole new ballgame, and
I thought they looked fantastic in the second half, generally speaking,
the most important half. And here what is their young
coach Ben Johnson after.
Speaker 5 (09:03):
Obviously, when it comes down to the wire like that
and you're on the losing side of it, it's disappointing,
but a lot of credit to our guys in the
second half. They're making it a game. Down fourteen to
three a half time, and you had it coming down
to the last thirty seconds and potential to tie that
game up or whether it's overtime or go for the
(09:23):
two point. You know, so really close at the end.
But give a lot of credit to green Bay. They
made a couple more plays than.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Us, and that's all. It was a couple more plays.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
I think Chicago, there's an argument the Bears were the
last team that everybody acknowledged Okay, they're legit. Like a
couple of weeks ago with New England, we watched New
England clab or another team, and we're like, okay, New
England's legit. And we know Buffalo with Josh Allen's good
(09:58):
most of the time. By thing Thanksgiving, you know who's
really good. But we were all questioning Chicago, myself included, because
they were winning, but they were barely winning against average teams.
I think Jay McK and I said it last week,
green Bay may be the best team in the league,
and they at Lambeau in lousy weather, took them to
the final plays Totally impressed with it. Sometimes, you know,
(10:23):
not all wins are good ones. You can win a
football game and lose five starters to injuries, and not
all losses are awful. Some of them are a barometer
of where you are. If I'm Chicago busting' home, I'm like,
we can play with anybody, because if you can play
against Green Bay in Lambeau, you can play with anybody.
You can play with the Rams, you can play We
just saw him beat Philly. You can play with the Lions.
(10:46):
I mean, got Baltimore, Buffalo, Kansas City don't look as dominant.
I mean a lot of people don't buy New England.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
I do.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
So that's about as good a loss as you can have.
I don't know what the rating was, by the way,
the television rating and that game was, but that was
so classic pro football. It looked cold. It was the
Packers and the Bears. How much fun? You know a
lot of times, jamch we talk about this. This has
(11:13):
been a lobsided rivalry. It's almost a geographic rivalry, not
an actual athletic rivalry. And I'm watching that yesterday thinking
do I get ten years of Caleb and Jordan, Ben
Johnson and Matt Lafleur, because that was unbelievable television.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah, Bears kept coming back.
Speaker 6 (11:29):
Did you see this interesting stat The Packers got to
the red zone once.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
That's it.
Speaker 6 (11:33):
Everything else was like a big play touchdown because the
Bears kept blitzing. So the Bears defense played pretty darn good.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
I was wrong. I didn't think they could hang with
Green Bay.
Speaker 6 (11:42):
I think the Bears are legit. They can mess around
when a game were two in the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
No, well, I think it's interesting. They do two things
that really help in crappy weather. They run the ball. Yeah,
they're a physical offense. They have to run the ball,
and so does Caleb, so you don't have to put
the ball in harm's way, so they run them all.
The other thing is they win the turnover battle. They
win it constantly. You go to postseason football. How many
times did the Chiefs win games and we're like, they
(12:09):
got out played. They'd win the turnover battle. They'd make
you know, Mahomes running for a first down.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
The Bears.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Now, we know the Packers do a lot of things
super Bowl teams do. We know that they've been doing
it for thirty years. So first time in three decades
that you look to Bears offense defense top to bottom
and you're like, oh, yeah, that's what great teams do.
They've had talent, but they they're you know, they're not
very good. Lay in games. The coaching is defense and
old school. They're a very progressive new school offense.
Speaker 6 (12:38):
They would be frisky against the Rams or Seahawks in
a in a January showdown.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Given that run game going, I think they're no questions.
Speaker 2 (12:44):

Where Colin was right, It's time to all acknowledge what
we've been talking about. Jordan Love is out of this world.
Good three Tuddies, one hundred and twenty one passer rating.
He was the difference yesterday Green Bay's defense got really tired.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
He didn't.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
He's finally got a healthy wide receiving corps. Green Bay
and the Rams best two teams in the NFC, and
a huge part of it is Jordan Love's tall, moves, aggressive,
not a lot of mistakes.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
It's time to admit it, folks. He's He's elite.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
Where Colin was raw, I'll scale back on my cowboy Love.
They gave up forty four to Detroit. I still think
their run defense two first round picks Quinn Williams is
really really going to be strong going forward. But the
truth is their pass defense gives up two hundred and
fifty five per game. They need help in the secondary.
(14:20):
Many mock drafts have them going getting Caleb Downs of
Ohio State. They're a really fun watch. I love their future,
but defensively they still need help.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Where Colin was right said.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
This last couple of years, Josh Allen is the best
quarterback in the NFL, not Patrick Mahomes. Josh is a
more transformational physical specimen for total touchdowns, one hundred and
forty passer rating, and he doesn't have a receiving corps
that's as good as Patrick Mahomes. So don't tell me that. Well,
he's got a lot to work with, he's got tight ends.
(14:54):
Yesterday he couldn't trust in the red zone James Cook,
So let's give him the MVP again. He didn't have
the trophy case. But the best quarterback in the NFL,
it's not Lamar, it's not Aaron Rodgers, it's not Mahomes,
it's not it's Josh Allen and has been for two.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Years where Colin was raw.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
The Indiana Hoosiers are a college football power. Hard to
wrap my brain around that because I had a functioning
television for the last forty years. They went to to toe
in the trenches with Ohio State. It's not just Fernando Mendoza,
because Ohio State Julian Sands a great quarterback too. They
the Hoosiers held Ohio State to fifty eight yards rushing,
(15:38):
and Jackson's great as a running back, they held him
to ten points. So this wasn't just about a great
quarterback and an excellent coach. This was the trenches. This
was indianago and toe to toe in the trenches with
the number one program right now in college football.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Blew me away. Where Colin was right.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
I've been defending Aaron Rodgers all year. He's not the problem.
He's the most redeemable quality. He threw the ball down
the field yesterday. He was moving around and scrambling. Seventh
game this season with over one hundred passer rating, and
they don't have a run game. Offensively, the O line
is okay after DK Metcalf, what do they have at
(16:19):
wide receiver. I've been critical of Aaron before. He's a bit,
you know, moody and prickly, but he's been good forty
two years old or not, he's done a good job
with what he has this year.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Where Colin was wrong.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
The Miami Dolphins have won four straight. They have the
same record as the Chiefs and the Ravens. Listen, Mike
McDaniel I always said, I like his schemes, I like
his play calling. I don't know if he's a head coach.
He deserves a ton of credit to go up and
lousy weather and to win the four straight game. And
they were the better team physically, I mean they gave
(16:55):
up a long return. Miami was a better team. Nobody
has quit on this team. Mike McDaniel has not lost
that locker room. They have the same record as the
Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
I was wrong where Colin was right.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
The Miami Hurricanes are going to jump over Notre Dame.
That's what I said, and it's what they did. The
Irish had two games and they had to win one.
They started the year with Texas A and m and Miami.
You got to win one of them. Miami's got a
big win and a tougher schedule. Their wins over Notre
Dame had to head.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Head to head.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Isn't everything, but when you both have two losses, it's
the thing. And again, Notre Dame join a conference BYU
did Miami deserved to be in better against common opponents
one head to head. I don't really have a problem
with Notre Dame bailing on the bowl game because I
think bowl games are in conference championships are going to
(17:52):
be a thing of the past within the.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
Next two years.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
But I thought Miami had kind of won public approval
people coming out, coaches who had played both teams. It
was the right thing for college football to do.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Where Colin was right. Mike McDonald said it last year.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
I have said it this year. He is the defensive
Sean McVeigh Seattle. This guy is no bs alpha, smart
player friendly. This is the second youngest offense in the league.
He lets Sam Donold make mistakes, he doesn't over coach,
he doesn't go conservative. Seattle found themselves the defensive version
(18:33):
of Sean McVeigh, and they'll play each other twice a
year going forward.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Herd weekdays
and noon Eastern nin a EM Pacific.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
And with that, Urban Meyer on a feisty college Football
All Weekend is joining us live. Three time national champion,
by the way, he's at the Belaggio. He's getting voted
into the College Football Hall of Fame tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
I've been.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Bagio is nice, by the way, and they got some
pretty swanky restaurants in there. Make sure you don't have
to pick up the bill, and you won't. So I
said all things. Said Miami getting in Notre Dame not
I thought was the right call. I don't care about
(19:19):
two lane James Madison. They'd never make it in my playoff.
But Texas Alabama. You can argue both sides. But Alabama
did get into the SEC Championship and Texas couldn't.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
So there's your argument.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
You can't punish Alabama for getting into the conference championship.
Did you have one big problem with the twelve teams?
Speaker 8 (19:39):
No, I actually think that Alabama going in was the
right thing. I took some heat on that just from
friends of mine that how can you pick a three
lost team? And I said, they're number two in the
SEC and this year the toughest conference in college football,
or that's always one of the top two, and same
with the Big Ten. I am such on a on
a you know, on a that the committee's and I
(20:01):
love the committee. Mark D'Antonio is on the committee, I think,
and he's one of my dear friends. They are faced
within a possible situation. You know, Colin, if you join me, Ingram,
Mark Ingram, Matt Lioner, Brady Quinn, myself and the Bear,
and we're all really studying this game, but we would
have completely different top twelve. You know, you just you
have differences. They are forced with an untenable situation. So
(20:24):
Mike and I'm going to keep swinging as hard as
they can on this thing, and you have to have
play ins. It'll be the most lucrative weekend in the
history of college football. You have a championship weekend, the
Big ten, the Big Ten, the SEC, the ACC, the
Big twelve, Mountain West, all of them. And then you
have playing games. And the playing games are there's no
more committee, it's just set. Yeah, it's not people making
(20:46):
decisions who win. Because someone asked me this question, it
was Notre Dame better than Miami at the end of
the year, and I maybe I don't know. I mean,
how do you I thought Indiana? I thought Ohio State
was better than Indiana. There's only one way that they played.
And I'm a Notre Dame. Not I love Notre Dame.
I love Marcus so stopping with alwase Anti Notary.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
No, I'm not. They played, so it's over.
Speaker 8 (21:09):
It's done.
Speaker 7 (21:09):
That.
Speaker 8 (21:10):
Move on from that conversation. Well, they played early. It
doesn't matter they played when you have people making decisions.
And I made this comment because of my friend Jaredy
and Artol said it too. It's the only multi billion
dollar industry in the history of the United States where
volunteers are making decisions.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
You can't do that.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Yeah, listen, like you, I tend to in big games
go with the roster with a lot of NFL bodies.
If I like both coaches, the pass rush, the pass
rush that Indiana got on Ohio State just and I
mean this wasn't like schemey, it was bulldozer. It was bullying.
(21:51):
Were you surprised by the defensive front of Indiana pushing
Ohio State backwards for about three and a half hours?
In many instances, I.
Speaker 8 (22:01):
Was to a degree I have. I've seen Indiana up
close and personal. I made the comment it's as well
coached team as there is in my lifetime. But Todd
McShay also pointed out to me it's also a little
talented roster in the history of i U football by
far eight projected NFL draft picks. That's a combined that's
more than the last eight years combined.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (22:22):
So it is a very talented team. I stood on
the field, Indiana's big, athletic and well coached. I use
the term they are an sec front looking team, and
they look like it in Innannapolis, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Listen, Fernando Mendoza Carbyn, that's that's my take. I love
After the game, he was like, you know, he was
so fired up.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
That's about as good a college quarterback, size, brains, competitiveness,
What do you make of him?
Speaker 8 (22:55):
Well, he was on our podcast, and he was here
reminding me of J. C. Barrett a Tebow. Those guys
that are smarter, actually way smarter than the coaches. He
talked us through the two minute drill against Penn State
like a coach would, like a coordinator would. I've gotten
to know the guy.
Speaker 6 (23:12):
I think.
Speaker 8 (23:12):
Here's what I think about him as an NFL prespect
got changed. I made a comment before this game he
should come back. I don't think so. Now. I saw
against a team that had better talent than Indiana, and
he won that fricking game. He made a couple of
ball placements, his accuracy, the ball out quick. You know,
he ran when he had to. He got hit right
(23:33):
square in the face at the second first play of
the game and touffed his way through it. So I
think the NFL ready, I didn't say that before this game.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Yeah, So Oklahoma and Alabama are going to play. I
think I like Alabama, but I don't feel good about it.
I think Miami can beat Texas A and m I
do because I think Miami's D line is like totally legit.
(24:03):
Do you see if I as I put this up
to the college football Playoff, I I don't think Miami
beating Texas A and m is an upset. I think
they got the four seeds right. If you had the
gas based on this, who plays in the Natty Urban?
What would be your guest today?
Speaker 8 (24:21):
I'm saying Georgia against Ohio State in the semi, and
then I'm saying Oregon and I you and the semi,
and then I'm those are the final four, and then
I don't know. I think it's going to be incredible
football at the end of the season. I like the brackets.
I like the way they did it. You know, I'm
gonna say two words about Miami Carson Becky. Yeah, if
(24:43):
he takes care of the ball, they can win. If
he doesn't have to lose. That's that's time tested. That's
at Georgia, that's now at Miami. If he takes care
of the ball, You're right, that's That's the only concern
I have in that one.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
You're getting inducted into the Florida Ring of Honor, You're
getting inducted tomorrow into the College Football Hall of Fame,
and you didn't get a you didn't get a coach
during nil or you didn't get a coach during you
know the playoff.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
I said this about Kurt Signetti. I said it used
to be.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
I always felt college football was a young man's game
for a coach because you're on the road two in
a day's a year. But the NIL you can sit
in your office and write. You know, you can just
be a GM. You don't have to get in a plane,
you don't have to do all that recruiting. Mark Marcus
Freeman's a young guy, good looking, young He's built for
college football. He's going to get an NFL offer. With
(25:37):
all the movement and the weirdness of college football, a
sport we love. If you were Marcus Freeman, you just
got told you're not in which I think was a
right move by the committee. Would you stay in college
football or would you take a New York Giants level job?
What do you do if you're Marcus Freeman? Because that
is going to be a story the second the NFL
(25:58):
season ends.
Speaker 8 (25:59):
Marcus is my friend, he got asked me. But I
would say you stay in college. One. You have controllables
in college. As a head coach in the NFL, I
found you just there's so many uncontrollables that you you
don't have. You know, whether it's the GM, the you know,
just so you have an owner, you have all kinds
of things. In college, it's you and Marcus. Marcus Freeman
(26:20):
at Notre Dame, his great support from the AD and
the president, et cetera, et cetera. But Marcus Freeman, as
I found out, you give up so much when you
take that next step, and so much that's out.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Of your control.
Speaker 8 (26:32):
And plus you're going to lose in the NFL. It's
it's built, And I'm not sure Marcus the Marcus I
know he can't take losing like I can't take losing.
You're gonna win a Notre Dame? Now, are you gonna
win a national title? I don't know, But look at
their schedule. He's going to play a season every year
where he's favored in the least nine or ten of
those games, maybe more. That doesn't happen at the next level.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
What did you make with USC being number one and recruiting?
In fact number one was SC A lot of people
thought Oregon was two Marcus Freeman and great recruiters up there,
so was Bama. But what did you make of USC?
Did you feel like it means something?
Speaker 8 (27:12):
Absolutely? And Lincoln Raley should be a great recruiter. I've
always said this. You've heard me say this many minutes.
The one team I do not understand in college sports
is University of Southern California. Why are they not Ohio State?
Why are they not Alabama? I don't I've always looked
at that program as the top three job. You have
everything right there. I'm looking on the TV right now
(27:34):
on beautiful uniforms, the history, the coliseum, I mean, and
more importantly, you get in a car and drive for
three hours and you can fill a recruiting class. And
plus you drive it. Will you walk into every high school?
We're in that trojan or where are those pillars? Everybody
knows who you are? So I congratulations. I'm glad they
stuck with Lincoln Raley. I'm a Lincoln I like the guy.
(27:56):
I think he's an excellent coach. I think he just
had to get real serious about recruited.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
And maybe he did.
Speaker 8 (28:01):
Maybe it wasn't him, Maybe it's USC that says enough
of this stuff, let's get going. And I almost cussed.
So I'm glad I did it. But yeah, enough, enough's enough.
It's time for USC to be in the final for
sure what we're talking about them not in the playoffs, Colin,
I don't usc. It's time to get going and this
(28:22):
is a good step.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
Let's go one more question. I want to going back
to Ohio State Indiana. Now. I thought it was the
biggest game in the history of Indiana football, and they
crushed and they deserve all of it. I said before
the game, I said, I think Ohio State will be
fired up. But I mean, we just beat Michigan, we
got the playoff, we're national champions.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
I may hide a little of my playbook.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
I thought it was a harder game for Ohio State
to coach in Indiana. Does that make any sense?
Speaker 8 (28:53):
Oh, it makes a lot of sense. And I think
just looking there's nothing like battle scars. I used to
tell my team this all the time, going on the
road Anton Stadium. That's a scar win or lose your scarred,
which means you've been matured. You've been having to go
to Penn State, a team that had better players than you,
not by much now, but they did, and you have
to go drive it eighty was it eighty three yards?
(29:15):
After that sack? To go win with zero timeouts? Your
scarreds Ohio State winning that game without any stars, and
they went on the road to Washington. They beat a
Texas team that wasn't a very good when they played them.
Now they did what they had to do. But keep
this in mind. The quarterback Julian saying, through twenty five
passes in the fourth quarter all year, that means there's
(29:36):
no scars. Yeah, now he's got a couple of scars
on his face, or a couple of scars that team does.
They'll be better because of it. You just wish they
didn't lose a ring because of it.
Speaker 4 (29:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
I still have the Buckeyes winning the Natty as a congratulations.
By the way, I've been to Bolagio before. They got
a place called Spagos that has an unbelievable locks caviar pizza.
I didn't buy it, somebody bought it for me. I'm
just telling if you're wandering by, you might just want
to sneak in there and order it. Congratulations to you, coach,
You know how much I think you, And congrats again.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
Well you're a.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
Friend, Paulin.
Speaker 8 (30:10):
I'm going to name drop you today out that played
at that spot.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
All right, that'll get your glass of lemonade for free.
It won't get you the pizza I talked about.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
You're the best call. Thank you all right, Urban Meyer
