Speaker 4 (02:29):
Can I ask him? And how should I go about it?
Speaker 3 (02:32):
I mean, of course you can ask him. I think
it's it's not you're his mom. You're his mom just
I mean I would ask it in a funny way, like, hey,
am I gonna have grown children? Or am I not?
Like just let me know so I can plan accordingly,
like something like that.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Infao info Inlfaro is a lighthouse in Spanish. Lighthouses are
kind of spooky, even though they serve a great purpose.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
They seem creepy. They seem creepy.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
And mother, they're lonely. They're just like random out it's
a light.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
We went to a really good seafood spot called Infado
the lighthouse.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
The other day. Did I no my dad? My dad?
Speaker 5 (03:55):
My dad?
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Night?
Speaker 1 (03:56):

Knight?
Speaker 2 (04:00):
You're all Mario Courtney Lopez, and I've got a bone
to pick with missus Lopez regarding something last night.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
Normally I don't put you on blast, honey.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
But how many segments start with that, Well, yeah, you're right.
Speaker 5 (04:10):
You're right.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Normally, over the course of twelve years, it happens a
good twenty times a year maybe, And you know what,
and that's not even that's not even a quarter of
the time that I should because our bluff everything. So
let me let me explain what happened. It's Sunday night.
It's the finale of House of Dragon, which I've been
obsessed with this season. It's the Game of Thrones prequel.
They've done a really good job. The dragons are awesome.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
Anyway, it's a finale.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Everyone's gonna be talking about it the next day at work,
and my dad wanted to watch a movie earlier, so
I watched this two and a half hour film. Apocalypto
was made years ago with Bell gives a movie. It
was incredible. It was incredible. We just hadn't seen it
a while.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
It holds up.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
It just it's so incredible and each time it like
impacts me different ways. Anyway, I said, honey, if you
love me, you're the best wife ever, You'll let me
watch House of Dragon, right because everyone's gonna be talking about.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
It at work.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
You know what, you watch a move with your Dad
this and that I'm going to the other room, and
I said, okay, don't. I don't want you to go
to the other room. Let's go back and watch our
Netflix Ellie Confidential about the homicide Division in the Elie County.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Shirts part something you've been watching.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Well, they're individual episodes, right, So they're individual episodes. So
we start to watch it, and what happens.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
She falls asleep.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
And I didn't even know if she falls asleep till
like forty minutes in touch A liar.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
Not a liar. I'm not a liar. I'm not a liar.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
And then I said I could have watched Out of Dragon,
so I never want to hear it.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Agad, Let's take a break and then we'll hear her side.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Okay, more fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
What a Mario Lopez here.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I'm going to let my wife share her side of
the story when it comes to our recent House of
the Dragon drama. But real quick, we're going to continue
to give away trips to Vegas for the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
But you gotta have the key word to text A
two hundred two.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Tomorrow's keyword drops at nine am one pm and five pm,
so please make sure to tune in. All right, let's
get back to the music, Mario Lopez. Here, my wife
stepped out.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
For a moment.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Tensions are still a little higher around here because she
blocked me from watching the season finale of House of
the Dragon.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
Or so you said.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Yes, well, I promised to give her a chance to
explain her side of the story. So we're going to
do that after a few more songs, oh, Mario Courtney Lopez.
Getting back to the conversation from earlier in the hour,
where my wife threatened to leave the bedroom and watch
something else in the other room when it's supposed to
be our our together alone time and watching something together.
(06:37):
And then I succumb to her pressure, and then she
fell asleep on me.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
She fell asleep on me. Okay, honey, explain yourself.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
How do you have any friends, anybody even like you?
So this is the story we had. My son had
a playdate, so I was consumed with that the whole day.
He disappears and watches a three hour movie. Fine, I
don't care. He goes and does that. Finally I get
sunny to bed. I get in bed because it's our
(07:06):
normal let's watch TV. And he turns to me and
he goes, if you love me? And I go, what
are you gonna ask me? He's like, you'll let me
watch House of Dragon? And I did I went, are
you serious? I go, no, you are you gonna let.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Me tell the story?
Speaker 3 (07:22):
And I said, you just watched a three hour movie?
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Really?
Speaker 3 (07:26):
Now you want to watch Game of Thrones because it's
our time for us to like wind down and watch.
So I said to him, well, okay, then I'm gonna
go because I wanted to watch something. I wanted to
just sit there and watch TV. I said, well, I'm
gonna go to the living room and I'm going to
watch my show. And he was like, oh, no, I
don't want you to. And I go, I don't want
to watch Game of Thrones. I don't want to want
I don't want to lay here dragon whatever. And so
(07:48):
he goes, okay, fine, we'll watch what we were watching.
We put it on three minutes into it. Did I
not turn to you and say, you know what, I
can't relax you watch House of Dragon?
Speaker 4 (08:01):
I feel bad this this is new information. I forgot
about this part.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Did I not say that to you?
Speaker 4 (08:08):
Did you did but hold on. It was a little
in my defense, it was a little longer than three minutes. No, yes,
it was.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
And the episode already started off good, and I was
already into You're already into it, was already into it.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
I was already into it.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Wait.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Wait, I hope you're never on tryoff. You will literally
put yourself in jail.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
Just don't testify yourself. Wait, it was already good. So
I said, no, honey, we'll just watch this. And then
he could what happened? She fell asleep? What happened that?
Speaker 1 (08:38):
I know?
Speaker 4 (08:38):
I'm asking, did you no?
Speaker 3 (08:40):
He said, Oh my god, You're the best wife ever.
He goes to pull up House of Dragon. He goes
to pull up House of Dragon. I turn and get
comfy because I'm like, at this point, I'm just gonna
go to sleep. He puts it on and he goes,
you know what, I'm just gonna wait tomorrow. And I
go why, and he goes.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
I thought you was doing a reverse mind edike trick.
I thought she was like, you're getting in trouble. Yes,
bottom line, I know you're gonna fall asleep. She just
let me watch it. I want anyway, bottom.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Line, listen, I'm not, You're not even.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Mario Lopez will be right.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
Back, Mario Lopez, here was some quick buzz for you.
Good to see.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Zach Effron back to posting thirst traps after a scary
moment in Abitha, he dove into a pool, striking his
chest on the concrete bottom. How does one strike their
chest and not their head?
Speaker 4 (09:30):
I know this guy, like he falls down a lot.
Remember he broke his jaw like twice. That's an inchest
way to die. And you were in Baywatch the remake. Yeah,
what's going on here?
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Well, it apparently days down caused him to take a
bunch of water into his lungs. He was pulled out
of the water and rushed to a hospital. Everything's fine, though,
he's back home now. Just stay safe, Zach. All right,
let's get back to music. What are Maria Lopez here about?
(10:05):
Time to get to today's guests. It's the stars of
the new scary movie All my Friends are Dead, my
girl Jojo Siwa and also Jade Petty John who's going
to be part of this new drama about the Menendez brothers.
So I want to ask her about that too. We're
gonna get the inside scoop on all that.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
After a few more songs.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
It's up here on Mario Lopez joding me now on
zoom from the new movie All My Friends Are Dead.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Great title, Jojo Siwa and Jade Petty John. Welcome to
the show. How are you so good?
Speaker 6 (10:32):
Are you?
Speaker 4 (10:33):
I'm great? I love seeing you. Jojo Jada's first time.
I believe we've met.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
But it's so funny because last time I saw Jojo,
we did a little dance that went viral from a
couple of months in back. Oh so viral, right, so viral,
and then the girl in the back of the audience.
Speaker 6 (10:47):
It was so funny, funnyest I was wearing the construction
best there.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
No one knew what that was for yet I know,
and it.
Speaker 6 (10:55):
Was for the new music and for guilty Pleasure, and
so I loved that that way, that viral. I was like,
let's figure out. I gotta tell you, though, Mario. Yeah,
my choreographer, Richie Jackson, who is the best ever. He's
done the dog Off for the last twelve years. Like
he is the most brilliant creative director, brilliant choreographer. I mean, Mario,
we have seen so many people do this Karma dance
(11:17):
so many people, so billy freaking eyelish. Did it like
when he saw you do it? Richie like fan boyd out?
Oh that's Mario Lopez.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
Didn't day out so funny? Hey, well, we got to
do a follow up. So I'm waiting. I'm waiting. Absolutely,
can you bring the Corey at Oh wait, Oh that's
so funny. I just had to get that out of
the way.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
We're gonna talk about All My Friends Are Dead in
just a moment, but let's take a little break more
with Jojo Siwa and Jade Petty John on the way.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Mario Lopez Here. My guests today are Jojo Siwa and
Jade Petty John. And congratulations on the new movie All
My Friends Are Dead. Like I said, I love that title.
I'd watch it. What's it about?
Speaker 5 (12:05):
So All My Friends Are Dead follows a group of
close college friends that are on this road trip to
go to No coun Intended Karma Palooza, which is a
music festival, and their plans get sort of swept to
the side. Things go wrong, and there is someone trying
to kill them based off of their seven deadly sins.
(12:27):
So each character represents a seven deadly sin, and then
JoJo's character is incorporated into this and in a way
that's hard to describe, but she is like the haunting
hearts of this entire film.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
So do you have a deadly sin?
Speaker 5 (12:43):
Jade?
Speaker 4 (12:44):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (12:45):
Yeah, My deadly sin in this film is wrath. Wrath.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
Oh, that's kind of a good one though.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
It's a good sin.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
It was.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
It was really fun. My local course definitely took a
toll with the wrath while.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
We were filming, and and and Jojo, you kind of
encompass all of them or do you have a specific
one yourself?
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Right? Spoiling it?
Speaker 4 (13:06):
Oh? Okay, I gotta watch, all right, all right? And
is it bloody or is it more? Is it a little?
Does it have that effect? Can we talk about that?
Speaker 1 (13:15):
A lot?
Speaker 2 (13:16):
A lot of blood? A lot of blood? Okay, sounds gory.
All my friends are dead in theaters? Now, hold on, ladies,
got to play some more music. Mario Lopez. He're talking
about the new movie All my Friends Are Dead with
Jojo Siwa and Jade Penny John Jojo, I know you're
gonna appear in the new doc that Demi Levado directed,
Child Star, which I can kind of relate to. Actually,
how was it working with uh with Demi from behind
(13:39):
the camera?
Speaker 6 (13:40):
Demi is? I mean literally, So Demi and I connected
back a while ago. Actually I knew her sister for
a while then. Obviously I've known Demi my whole life,
but Demi never knew me, you know what I mean.
And we connected right around when I came out. She
was one of the biggest celebrities that was really really
(14:01):
supportive of me when I came out, and when I
was on Dancing with the Stars, they were really supportive
of me. It was Demi's just always truly been in
my corner, which has been unreal because as a kid,
you know, I watched Camp Rocks on It with a Chance,
and so growing up then having Demi be in my corner,
it was just it's so surreal to me.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
She just gets it, you know what I mean.
Speaker 6 (14:25):
And I think her and I have a lot of
angles that we can relate on and connect on, and
it's she's been through the phase that I am in
right now, and so to be able to talk about
that and go through that and have somebody to look
at to be like, hey, what should I do and
what shouldn't I do? What should I try? And what
shouldn't I try? You know what I mean? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (14:46):
No, absolutely, And I'm looking forward to checking it out too,
because I'm sure there's gonna be a lot that I
can relate to growing up, even though different generations, of course,
but similar story is right?
Speaker 4 (14:57):
All right?
Speaker 2 (14:57):
We got one more thing I want to ask, but
right now I got a place some music. You're all
Mario Lopez wrapping things up here with Jojo Siwa and Jade,
Petty John and Jade.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
I'm looking forward to this, really want to see it
coming up in the future.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Monsters the Menendez Brothers story from Ryan Murphy, I remember
when all that went down.
Speaker 4 (15:16):
What's your role in this one? By the way, Yeah,
so I.
Speaker 5 (15:19):
Play Jamie Pissarsik, who is Lyle Menendez's girlfriend. And Beyonce.
Speaker 6 (15:27):
Congratulations, dude, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
That is massive. That is excited. And it's a it's
a mini series, correct, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:39):
It's the second season of uh Dahmer.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
Oh right, so it's yes, yes, yes, oh so it's
the one on not is it a Netflix?
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Is the one Netflix? I can't wait. The Dahmer was awesome, too, massive.
I'm so proud of you. That's you, Judge, appreciate it.
I'm really excited.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
I had a lot of fun working with those people.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
Is incredible.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
What a story to tell too, dude.
Speaker 5 (16:01):
It's such an important story and I'm really looking forward
to people seeing Ryan Murphy's take on such an iconic crime.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
I'm a huge fan of his.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
I'm gonna watch both those projects, ladies, So congratulations on that. Meanwhile,
All My Friends Are Dead is now available on demands.
We'll be sure to check that out. Jade and Jojo,
thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Thank You're the full interview now at on with Mario
dot Com. More Mario Lopez on the Way.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Mario Lopez here and Taylor Swift could be adding some
major hardware to or trophy case. She's leading the pack
of this year's MTV Video Music Awards with ten nominations,
including Video of the Year for a Fortnight. If she
wins that category, it's gonna be for the fifth time
in the third year in a row. Post Malone has
nine nominations, Ariana Grande, Eminem and Sabrina Carpenter have six.
(16:51):
Awards are going down on September tenn Wyle Courtney Lopez
here let's put a spotlight on my wife and get
Courtney's random thought.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
What do you got, honey?
Speaker 3 (17:00):
So do you ever think that dogs look at police
dogs and think, oh, that's a cop, Like he can
arrest me, he can bark at me and arrest me.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
I think can dog cops arrest other dogs?
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Yeah, the dog cops, But I think they probably feel
a little inferior at times, get a little intimidated, like
they don't play right. They got to watch themselves because
those are trained individuals.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
Do marrow Courtney.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Lopez for today's birthday shoutout. We're going to try to
guess the ages quickly. Lease they're on from mad Max
Furry Road fifty five fifty forty nine.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
O close. I thought she was older too. Actually.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
David Dukoveney from The X Files sixty sixty one sixty
four ooh okay and from Seinfeld Jurassic Park.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
And he also takes his dog to my vet. Wayne Knight.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Oh interesting like that, dude, sixty seven sixty three, sixty
nine more Mario Lopez on the way.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
Courtney Lopez, time for one last thing.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
The other day we were talking about how Ryan Reynolds
and Blake Lively allow their kids to start watching rated
R movies at nine years old, which I've hey, listen,
not want to tell anyone how to pair it. But
for us at Costa Lopez, that's a little young. But
I do think it depends because I feel our daughter,
(18:25):
who's thirteen years old, has seen an R rated movie.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
But it was a horror.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Film yea, so it was more slasher. She knows it's
over the top, she knows it's not real, right, And
I don't have a problem with her watching that. As
a matter of fact, I watched A Quiet Place with
her and it was quite bonding, and yes, it's spooky
and stuff, but that I don't have a problem with.
Where I did put my foot down. She recently asked
to watch Challengers with Zendaya and she grew up watching
(18:57):
Zindia on Casey Undercover. But I'm like, no, no, no, Zi
Dale's not undercovering this one. I said, you're not allowed
to watch that, and she's like.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
Come on, dad. I'm like no, no, no, no no.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
So we draw the line when there is adults adult
type intimate content, and I think that's a big.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
Difference, right, Oh, absolutely, yeah, Like if.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
She wanted to see Deadpool two, which was rated R. Like,
that's one thing. There is a core, there's a big
there's a big difference with the rated rs.
Speaker 5 (19:25):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
I don't I don't mind the herb, but when you
start getting into naughty intimacy. No, how did she respond
to that?
Speaker 3 (19:32):
She said, Okay, Okay, she's a good girl.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
She's a good girl, so she's okay, tell Mario what
do you think?
Speaker 1 (19:38):
On Twitter at On with Mario More Mario Lopez on
the way, all.
Speaker 4 (19:41):
Right, time for us to pass the mics. But we're
going to be back tomorrow to celebrate Throwback Thursday.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
And Sharon, you liveack in Courtney's corner. Until then, this
is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying good night
Speaker 1 (19:53):
With Mario Lopez
