Tirac dot com the way tire buying should be. Didn't

(01:26):
want to mention this before the NFL story. We're gonna
get too, because somebody who is very familiar with every
party involved had some commentary recently about a major storyline
in the NFL. So we're going to get to that
here in just a moment. But yes, I'm aware there
was a couple of tornadoes that touchdown in southern California yesterday,

(01:48):
and of course I was nowhere near him. I actually
I kind of weren't because you weren't tornado chasing. I
didn't know. You don't pissre you know. It pisses me
off about it is the fact that some people who
couldn't give a rat's ass about tornado's weather anything like that,
hanging out in Montabello, which is near what like East

(02:13):
LA like East LA area. All of a sudden, they're
just hanging out on a Wednesday, and a tornado touches down. Meanwhile,
you got somebody like me who's been watching weather his
entire life, who's been dreaming at this moment. And I'm
just cruising up and down the ten Freeway trying to
get to a little shin dig And next thing, you know,

(02:33):
a couple of freeways over in East LA, a tornado
touches down nowhere near me. That's a bunch of crap.
And then Bert sends out the report, yes, and how
one person was injured and taken to the hospital. And
I was like, you know, should have been Jonas, Yes,
so it should have been. That pisses me off. Another

(02:54):
one touchdown and there there's a little place called Carpenteria
out here enough for people listening nationally, we'll put it
in foot in sports terms. The Cowboys training camp is
in Oxnard, all right, So and listen a lot of
people called NXRD. Yeah, you know, depending on who you ask,
But if they're in Oxnard. If you go north past Oxnard,

(03:16):
then you've got Ventura. And then after Ventura is a
little town called Carpenteria's right in between Ventura and Santa
Why you know, it does sound like that now you
say it, but it's it's one of my wife and
I his favorite place to go. It's a cool little place.
It's quiet, awesome town. We've been there a million times

(03:38):
go all the time. Was actually thinking about possibly going
there on Friday afternoon after the show. Guess what happened
in Carpenteria yesterday? There was a tornado? Of course, why
wouldn't there be? And I wasn't there, of course, And
you'll go this weekend, and you know what everybody is saying, Man,
where did you see that time? I could you just
miss that tornado? Were you here for that tornado? Such

(03:59):
ps I'm so sick of it. It just dodges me constantly.
I gotta see a tornado too, touchdown, And of course
I was nowhere to be seen. I mean, that's so
weird that, you know. Yeah, to be honest with you, well,
I listen, like we said yesterday, there's somebody in the

(04:20):
Midwest who goes, you know, I'd love to experience an earthquake,
and we just think it's old hat like this all
the time. I've never met anybody who said they wanted
to experience an earthquake. You never know, I've never met
anybody until I've met you and heard it from you.
Hear somebody say that they want to experience any type
of natural disaster. Well, those storm chasers who hang out

(04:43):
in like Oklahoma, and like, I've never met any oli,
I've never met them. I don't know. I don't know
those type of people. I've never had just a casual
conversation with a person and they were like, you know what,
I'm searching for her can man, I'm trying to be
in the eye of her cane or you know, I
want to see a tornado touchdown. Just never had conversation

(05:05):
with it. Yeah, they're lunatics. Um interesting. You know. I
also think part of this is they're gamblers too. You remember, Yes,
that is true, and bad at that. You remember remember
the movie Twister back in the day, Remember a movie Twister.
You know the villain who ended up getting swept up
by a tornado. His name was Jonas. So maybe this
was all meant to be, huh. Yeah, So maybe it's

(05:26):
just a bit for you to get swept up. Yeah,
maybe what a way to go out though, I mean
that would be interesting. But you know, some people have
really lost loved ones and and h tornado. I listen,
I'm not too much. I just want to see one.
I don't want it to do any damage to anybody.
If you want to touch down in an open field somewhere,
that's fine. I'm not saying that. I understand those are

(05:47):
those are serious issues for a lot of people. I
just want to see one touchdown in an open field.
I wouldn't mind having a cocktail while I watched it,
and then it could just go away, doesn't last long,
just go away. I just want to see it once
all I'm ask like watching fireworks. Yes it's dangerous, but
you know, not necessarily going to harm anyone. Agreed. Okay,
unless you're reckless, all right. It is U two pros

(06:10):
and a cup of jo thinking about anybody. All right.
So let's let's get into the very latest on the
speculation surrounding one Lamar Jackson, because we're hearing a lot
from you know, people outside who are speaking on behalf
of Lamar Jackson, or people that are speaking on behalf
of the Ravens, because the Ravens are saying all the

(06:33):
nice things, but we're not really hearing about the negotiations.
So Ozzie knew some who would have intimate knowledge of
both parties involved, because you remember Ozzie knew some the
former general manager of the Ravens. His last first round
pick was Lamar Jackson, and so they moved up. They
drafted Lamar Jackson. Everybody said, man, Ozzie knew some really did,

(06:55):
did them a solid with all the other stuff about
I think it was Bill polly and who said Lamar
Jackson should be a wide receiver. Got that one pretty wrong,
and he identified that Lamar Jaackson. Didn't you know, they
don't want paying like a quarterback. I bet you they
give him a receiver's contract. That is true. Yeah, I'm
just saying, you know, may imagine if they pulled that

(07:17):
at the end, like they just got so fed up.
They said, you know what, I'll tell you what, We're
gonna go ahead and make a quarterback. We're gonna make
you the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL. You're
you're you're gonna make more than Tyreek him Hill. Yeah,
it's um so well, some differences, but yeah, a little
bit so. Lamar Jackson obviously final first round draft pick

(07:38):
for Ozzie Knewsome Ozzie knew some still close with the
Ravens organization. Eric da Costa pretty much studied under Ozzie
Knewsom and was the heir apparent to the job there.
Ozzie knew some one of the most respected people in
the NFL. Well. He talked recently on the Bernie Kozar Show,
because for people that aren't familiar, he and Bernie Kozar

(07:58):
were teammates, I believe back in the day with the
Cleveland Browns. You know, remember Webster Slaughter, all those great
Cleveland Browns teams that ended up turning into Baltimore Ravens.
But he was speaking on the Bernie Coozar Show about
the situation. Here's what as he had to say. Every
club has to do what they have to do with contracts,
with drafting. You know, I got enough problems dealing with

(08:21):
this club that didn't know what I can't you know,
I don't worry about what other things right. But you
know our owner, you know, did say that you know
that contract, uh did create some problems. But we have
to fit out is that going to be the norm
or is that an outloud and we don't know? And
so that was I think your point throughout this entire process.

(08:42):
What does this mean? Moving forward and and him saying
it the way that he said it was. Look, he
did try and tell you, like like when Steve Bischotti
was the guy who was most vocal and critical of
Deshaun Watson being the player that got that guaranteed contract,
he did try and set everybody up for the expectation
that we don't plan on going down that road, especially

(09:05):
for two hundred and thirty million dollars. And I remember
a conversation we had with Albert Breer last year about
the Deshaun Watson stuff, and we're asking him, what, like,
how far above and beyond did Cleveland pay Deshaun Watson
as opposed to the next next closest team. You want
to know the real answer to that. And I know

(09:27):
this would draft Q crazy if he was on on today. Okay,
it doesn't matter, but because the market was established by
Deshaun Watson. But here's here's my point on that, though,
is the reported number that was out there was that
a team was willing to give him. First of all,

(09:49):
most teams weren't going to give him the all the
years guaranteed, but no, they bid it against themselves, so
but they would that. So my point is two hundred
thirty million dollars guarantee. He fully guaranteed. Cleveland gave Deshaun
Watson the next closest he doesn't go to Atlanta, Well
the next Yeah, the next closest team was at around
one eighty. I think we know that for certain. That's

(10:11):
what That's what the speculation is. Remember think about it.
The thing about it is to like the whole note
for certain thing because there's the speculation is always going
to be what the speculation is. Right now, if if
it's written in stone somewhere that that was the next
because to me, that's that's where it gets dangerous, right

(10:35):
because what we're about to talk about and what we're
touching on, it's dangerous to speculate that that was the
next closest contract because in the end, Cleveland did what
they felt they needed to do to make sure they
delivered the player that they needed to deliver to Cleveland.
Do you believe that if this deal was in the

(10:56):
vicinity of one hundred eighty million, if Cleveland said, Okay,
somebody wanting to offer you one hundred eighty million with
guaranteed money, We'll give you one hundred and eighty one
million guaranteed. If it was in that range, I believe
Lamar Jackson would have already signed his contract. I think
this is about him wanting to make more than Deshaun Watson.
And I think the two hundred and thirty million dollars

(11:18):
is way above and beyond what Baltimore is willing to do.
It's just what it's always been, though, Jonas. And that's
why again, my biggest, my biggest conversation point to this
Lamar Jackson scenario is not Lamar Jackson, and quite frankly,
it's not race either. It's it's the only color that

(11:40):
matters here right now is green. And to me, the
market and the comp has been set now. I know
it'll be argued and it'll continue to be argued that
Deshaun Watson set the bar in a place where nobody's
going to clear it anytime. And for that to be

(12:03):
the case, it totally to me, goes against every every
single person that has worked hard to put themselves in
position to be the next one up. That's how it's
always been, and it's always been based upon position, you know,
importance of positions. So if a quarterback did a big contract,

(12:26):
the next guy up, if he's just as good, or
he's a franchise guy, he's going to get a little
bit more. The next guy up, he's going to get
something around the same or is going to be structured
something different that that gives him more guaranteed money. This
that and other might not be as high a number,

(12:46):
but it's it's more guaranteed money over a shorter period
of time, or something to that effect. There's always the
comp of the next guy up, Like they're going to
take who's made the most and who's done the most,
and they're gonna say, did this guy do better than me?
Am I comparable comp wise to say I deserve this

(13:09):
type of contract or better. If Lamar Jackson is looking
at Deshaun Watson, he can say my body of work
and outside of all of the excuses that people are
putting out here, all his health, all his style of playoffs,
you drafted him and he's done very He's done a

(13:30):
very fine job for your franchise. By the way. In fact,
you know a few people owe their job security to
the success that Lamar Jackson has had. So to me
to start trying to throw out reasons why not, Oh,
he's a mobile quarterback, Oh, his play has declined, Oh,

(13:50):
his health, like all these different things that it's it's
it's bull essery, all right. And and I look at
it from the stapoint of if this is a bigger
symptom of them not wanting to go in the direction
that Cleveland took them in. Was that progressive or was

(14:13):
that damaging for them to give the contract that they did.
By the way, one thing that we will not debate,
not one bit, is we're not no one has questioned
at any point in time the character of Lamar Jackson. Now,

(14:33):
no one has come. No, there has not been one
question of the character or the want to be in
Baltimore to be a Baltimore raven with Lamar Jackson. And
yet a guy who whose character it couldn't be the
furthest antithesis of what we're saying about Lamar Jackson. A malcontent,

(15:00):
someone who seemingly is arrogant or disconnected, someone who seems
disingenuous and deceptive. We're looking at all these things that
you can could describe and what we learned about watching
Deshaun Watson and his situation play out in front of
us on television or in the media, and he gets

(15:20):
rewarded the largest, most lucrative contract in the history of
the game. Like, that's crazy. It's crazy to think that
this is this was the example of who is deserving
of that type of contract, and then someone like Lamar
Jackson comes up and nothing. So I'm curious, is that

(15:44):
going to be what it's going to be moving into
the future. Is that how they're going to handle Joe Burrow?
Is that how they're going to handle Jordan Herbert Herbert?
Is that how they're going to handle Jalen Hurts. Is
that how it's going to work when Patrick Homes comes
back up again? Like, is that how it's going to
work for Josh Allen when he comes back up again?

(16:06):
It's just I wonder are they working to cap the position?
And how crazy the position has become in terms of
the liquid the liquid the liquidity of the position. Yeah,
it's I just don't see Lamar Jackson getting anywhere close

(16:26):
to this two hundred and thirty million guaranteed by Deshaun Watson,
not only from Baltimore. I don't see anybody in the
NFL given to him. I just I don't I think
if this was in the in the vicinity of what
the reports are that the next closest you know offer
was on the table for him. If it was close
to that, I would I would one hundred percent sign on.

(16:47):
But if Albert Brier, what he said last hour and
we talked to him was you know, he's a man
of principal and he feels like this is more than
you know. It's about you know, are you going to
respect me? And are you going to reward me for
the things I've done for this organization. It feels like
we're heading towards a divorce. I didn't think that a
couple of months ago, but that's where it feels like
we're headed towards. These two are these two sides are

(17:09):
gonna part ways at some point because I don't think
Lamar Jackson's happy about the situation. The money is the
money just super quick because I know we gotta go
to break the money is the money here, Jonas. But
in reality, what's most shocking to me and most most
disturbing is that we're not hearing an array of different
teams that are working their asses off to signing. Like

(17:31):
That's what's weird to me, not not okay. Are you saying, well,
we know we're priced out, like, at least give it
a go, Give it a go. He may he may say,
you know what, I love this city, Like, let's let's
make it work. I don't like the fact that Baltimore
did me this way. Okay, I'll take this this amount
of money. Let's make the deal happen, boom done. The

(17:53):
fact that there is no movement on Lamar Jackson is
what most disturbing to me. That's what's most disturbing because
I'm not are you hearing about there being any aggressive
approaches to trying to have conversations with Lamar? What are
you talking? Do you see the report yesterday the Colts
haven't closed the door on Okamar Jackson. Now that seems aggressive.

(18:16):
We haven't closed the door on the March has no
nobody has anybody has? Has there been any reports that
somebody's trying to negotiate with Lamar Jackson? Nothing? Okay? Yeah,
So that's that to me, that's what's the most disturbing
aspect of this. Like shoot your shot, Like there's been
plenty of times in life where you shoot your shot

(18:36):
and and you know what, if you miss, you miss,
but you you went down shooting your shot yeah, your
died standing up blowing out what I mean like blow
dart action blow dart. Yeah. By the way, we are

(18:57):

in the NFL is refusing refusing to pay for a
certain something that I know for a fact, LaVar Arrington
will be willing to pay for. We'll get into that
for you right here on FSR. Be sure to catch
live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe

(19:18):
with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington and Jonas Knox weekdays at
six am Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio
and the iHeartRadio app. Two Pros and a Cup of
Joe Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas Knox with you here.
You can hang out with us as always on the
iHeartRadio app. So coming up in we'll call it about
twenty minutes from now, we are going to have another

(19:39):
edition of You Interview out. We got to get to
some hard hitting questions not only the world of sports
but beyond. We got the NCAA tournament resuming later on
tonight or early afternoon, depending on where you're at. So
we've got a lot of a lot of stuff we
need to get into, and we're gonna decide live on
the air with you in a little over twenty minutes
from now. Before we get to this story in the
NFL about somebody that's not willing to pay a certain price,

(20:02):
we want to tell you about pricing, because if you're
still overpaying for a razor in this economy, it's gross.
With Dollar Shave Club, you can get a top shelf
shave at a regular shelf price. Dollars Club is available
at a store near you, and the men's razorile. That's it.
That's the ad. So Juju Smith Schuster, who's a brand
new player for the New England Patriots just by the way,

(20:23):
very odd fit considering how much he loves snap face
and TikTok and all those other you know apps and
making these like you know, fake hostage videos and music
videos and all the other crap that he puts out there.
It's odd that he would choose New England because that
doesn't seem like the type of place it would be. Okay,
with all that stuff happening, it is odd, but they

(20:46):
chose him too. Yeah, I mean that's kinda Listen, things
ain't what they used to be in New England. So
if you feel like Juju Smith Schuster can improve your roster,
then and and that's who you're going after. I mean,
I would have never thought that that would have been

(21:09):
a landing place for Cam Newton. Like he's a he's
a very colorful personality, a very independent thinker, and how
he does things and not easily swayed his influences, his influence,
and he lives the way that he lives. I would
have thought that that would have been a nightmare matchup

(21:29):
and and and Bill Belichick loved him and seemingly up
until the end, Cam Newton loved you know, the Patriots.
So I think things are changing in New England. They're
probably going to have to change the New England way
as we've grown to know it during the era of
time that Bill Belichick and Tom Brady were together. There's

(21:53):
probably going to have to be an official um wake
and oh yeah, and then there's going to have to
be a funeral and a burial. They're going to have
to begin to adapt and to adjust to a new way.
Are you killing off the Patriota? To me, the Patriot Way,

(22:17):
while I will say, did not start per se directly
with Tom Brady, probably was more related to guys like
mcguinnis and ty Law and Lawyer malloy and you know
guys like that that were a part of the Patriot Way.
Teddy brushki Um. It turned into Tom Brady. It turned

(22:44):
into the Tom Brady Way, which was ultimately housed and
the Patriot Way. See, I thought that tom Brady Way
was TB twelve. Now the music is on, don't don't
do it, don't do this, let me finish. And the
fact of the matter is when Tom Brady became the
player that was dispensable, disposable to just become expendable the

(23:08):
way that he did and end up leaving, you found
out very quickly that the Patriot Way was indeed on
its deathbid and now could be considered to be gone.
I mean, are you proud of yourself? Did and gone?
I was like, what one of the great eras of
football are professional sports we've ever seen, is gone? And

(23:31):
you just on a Thursday in March. Yes, you just
buried and gave a eulogy to the Patriot Way on
National Radio. I mean I gave you could have gave
me a eulogy on on reading a script on on
a break. Idn't say enough. So that's all right, I mean,

(23:52):
you know, so my frustration level was so high that
you know, I had to get that weight up off
of me and put it on someone else. There you go,
there is some true backstory, meaning some true feelings connective
and involved with Wild going so hard on this this
seconde what you want to vent anymore? Lee just got
to the point where he was like, just keep going,

(24:15):
keep going, Lee rant to the liquor store. You kidding me?
He didn't. After the third take, Lee was, you know,
he laughing like I can't I can't hear it, like
I can hear it, like the little the little stuff
that goes on for some reason I care. But you
know what I wasn't I wasn't amused, all right. So
here's for people a little behind the scenes without giving

(24:36):
up too much detail. When you when you're watching a
guy shoot free throws on the road, you see people
like waving the you know, the the wands or the
slam sticks, whatever they're called. You see people like Arizona
State games, they open a curtain and like somebody in
a speedo pops out. You're trying to distract the person
so that they missed the free throw. When LaVar is

(24:57):
trying to do spots and record promotional material for the network,
you would think, hey, let him do his thing. Instead
it turns into a road game and he's at the
foul line and Berto walks by and does whatever he
can to trant and throw you and by whatever he

(25:19):
can to try and throw you off. I mean whatever
he can do to try and throw you off. And
you know it's, oh, he didn't do that today. I
was all the way off. That's all right, is it happens.
But but like the free throws, once you miss the
free throw and then you get into your head and

(25:41):
I don't know, I just don't think my eyes are
are doing well for me right now at this moment.
Your old horse yet the eyes and Spanish by the ball. Okay,
a little tip for all of that. I wasn't doing
good with English on that read, so you know I
don't need to try to do the whole you know,

(26:02):
different language thing. Listen. But we're you know, we make
mistakes too, and we're not We're not above and beyond
anybody on this show. We're not like some of these
pretentious radio hosts who think their word is gospel and
everything they say is absolutely correct. I have a strict
policy here. If I say something incorrect on the air,
a it's either not true or be the person who

(26:24):
heard it was probably drinking, and I put it back
on them, so I never take accountability. I put it
back on them. So just blame somebody else for any
of the mistakes you make. That's what works for me.
It's got me this far. By the way, if Tony
Roma gets ten million dollars a year, I'm getting a
sex change. Well, listen, I didn't. I didn't say when
I was doing it, I said that I would. So
I've still got time, right, And you know, depending on

(26:48):
how pricing goes, you know, maybe you know, maybe I
can haggle for a better deal. But point is, you're
saying the Patriot Way is dead. You have laid the
roses on the cat asket of the New England Patriot
Way and it's over. And the sign of that was
Juju's Smith TikTok. Well. Really a sign of it was

(27:09):
them bringing in Cam Newton. I mean that was a
sign of it if you ask me. But I think
Cam was they were kind of in a tough spot.
They didn't really have a lot of options. Hey man,
Like I said, I think that was the handwriting on
the wall. Juju Smith Schuster just just puts the nails
in the coffin. Man. So here's here's something else that

(27:31):
I would love. Mean, but they did bring in Randy Moss. Yeah,
he was considered to be a colorful figure. You know,
remember Corey Dillon. They brought in Chad Johnson's some issues, yeah,
Chad Johnson. They brought in Antonio Brown too. Antonio Browns
had a couple of the said the Patriots have done
some you know, some bold, bold things, yeah, Antonio Brown

(27:53):
based on some of the videos that have surfaced. They
brought in Orchids of Asia kind of a kind of
an interesting person to play Marco polo with, or a
swimming pool you'd have to go to Orchids of Asia.
They play Marco polo. You know, it's like hey, buddy, uh,
you know, and can't bring everything here, So here about Yeah,

(28:18):
something like that. Yeah, So here's a story on Juju
Smith Shuster, Juju Smith, TikTok boy, according to some people,
TikTok boy. So there's this rule in the NFL, which
part of it I understand. The other part of it
I think is dumb. And the rule in the NFL
is if you want to switch jerseys, a player who
wants to change jersey numbers, they have to buy all

(28:40):
of their old all of the old unsold jerseys that
have already been printed. They have to buy all of those,
plus whatever fee they have to pay if somebody else
does already hold on to the jersey that has taken
so not only so, for example, Matthew Judon whears number
nine for the Patriots, if Smith Schuster wanted to take

(29:02):
number nine, he would have to reimburse Matthew jude On
for purchasing all of the unsold jude On jerseys and
also pay whatever fee Matthew Judon seems fit in order
to switch jerseys with Juju Smith Schuster and Juju Smith
Schuster estimated that that would be somewhere around one hundred
thousand dollars. And he's not doing it. He's he says, no,

(29:24):
I'm definitely not paying one hundred thousand dollars for you
though the number eleven. If you found out saying, and
I'm just going off the top of the league, you're
on the Commandos back when they were called the US,
how much do I got to pay one hundred grand?
So Patrick Ramsey's got the number eleven for mine. I

(29:45):
believe that I was there before him though. Okay, but
if but if you weren't. Just hypothetically speaking, Patrick Ramsey says,
I'm just going to cost this amount if you want
to buy up all these number eleven jerseys, and then
on top of that, it's going to be this amount,
and it's gonna put you about one hundred thousand dollars

(30:06):
easily you do that. I'm taking one hundred grand for
a jersey. Never well, I mean, think about how much
I'd be able to monetize eleven. See, that's what you
gotta you gotta think about. On the other side of it,
it's like, yeah, we could look at it from the
standpoint of all that's I'm looking at that from commerce,

(30:30):
Like my jersey was the highest selling jersey for literally
like three four years. When I was like I mean,
people may not remember me as a player, and that's
fine because I'm okay with that. But there was a
moment in time where I was the face of that city,
of the franchise, and for like three or four years straight.

(30:50):
I think it was from O one to like O four,
my jersey was the highest selling jersey and that was
fifty six. Can you imagine if I came out to
college and I was able to rock and don the
sticks like bro like. But by the way, you know
how many Penn State fans would have became Washington football

(31:12):
team fans just off of the relating to the number eleven.
I know how much better my career would have been
if I would have wore eleven. Can we fact check
the Patrick ramsey war eleven? I think I had to
care eleven. Yeah, I just need confirmation. No, he wore
eleventh off the top of my hand, because I wore
eleven in practice, and I remember that year that he

(31:32):
came in. I wore eleven a practice. Then somebody stole
my jersey after practice off of the sideline and while
I was signing autographs, and probably I've never done my
jersey back. Well maybe I don't know. He's got that's
that's part of that. You know, his wealth, he's got
a rare LaVar Arrington number eleven Washington, our Jersey. Yeah,

(31:54):
but I doubt I doubt he would have been the
guy that did it because I mean he owned team.
It's like if he wanted it, would have gave it
to him. Lee, Is that correct? Patrick Ramsey? Eleven? That
is correct? Shoot program told Why did you need to fact?
I've told you it was eleven? Just wanted to hear
it from a third source. Off the top of my head,
I knew number eleven. So you're gonna ask You're gonna

(32:18):
ask Lee to confirm something that you asked Albert Brewer. No,
I just problem. Yeah, I'm just I just wanted to know.
I wanted to, you know, love the confirmation we can
get from the back. Gave you the confirmation. Who else
war eleven in Washington? Anybody else? Mark, Mark rippinware eleven?
I think Mark rippenware eleven too. I think you might
be right. I think Mark. I think Mark Rippin was

(32:39):
number eleven. Alex Smith all that's right. Alex Smith did
wear eleven. I wasn't around and Mark Ripping eleven two?
Lee do we have a yes, Mark, we were read
to be together all my knowledges on elevens and you
were in sticks at Penn State. Come on, man, I'm
talking about Yeah, it's real prior. We're number eleven, well

(33:03):
you know at Washington Yeah? Oh wow, yeah, interesting. I
didn't know that. I know he bore number two with
the Raiders, Sean Jackson, Come on, LaVar some good eleven? Yeah,
this is this is, this is an outrage, like you
gotta somebody's got to find that LaVar Arrington number eleven
practice Jersey. I got a picture of it. Wasn't Malmo

(33:26):
Gloin number eleven at Penn stad he was what are
you trying to get? Saint Patti's dale already passed. We're
not talking about mcclore. Are you being a real asshole
right now? Birdy? Did I get doubt? Did you doubt me?
I went right for it too, I knew I was.
That made me feel so much better. I don't even

(33:49):
I don't even know how much like pent up, like
I just I just needed to do it. And I'm sorry.

If you remember the alternative sport, it combined elements of basketball, football, hockey,
and trampoliness, returning in July with a six week season
in Vegas Home. Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on.

(35:40):
How is that a combination of those sports? The size
of the rink, how they play the rules of it.
But it's I mean it's contact on trampolines basically with basketball,
basically basketball holings. I was confusing that was spike ball,
Yeah me too, All right, okay, okay, okay, I got
it's like the jumping parks or whatever, like the sky

(36:00):
zone dips and yeah, yeah, it's you're trying to dunk
the ball. Yeah, it's basically basketball and trampolines. They they
they say it has elements of football and hockey as
well because it's full contact. Because cat's be getting jacked
up on that. Yeah, okay, I got it. Okay, all right,
I'm clear now. And it's easy to mix it up
with Spike Ball because it was on Spike TV back
in the day. It was so, yeah, you guys are

(36:24):
definitely Spike Ball. I'm man, I'm I'm out. I'm gonna
watch that. It's just like it's so goofy, like if
I want to watch basketball, watch basketball. It's like you
know what they do in Russia they do it's called
Russian basketball. They just carry the ball like rugby and
they don't dribble, and then they try and score. Yeah,
but they gotta they gotta get past the defenders and yeah,

(36:46):
and they get you're making contact like high in the air.
Like that's like, I don't know, maybe I'm like a
guy that wants to see the gore and then now
I want to watch that sport. I gotta look that up.
Russian basketball. I forget what they call it. I'm actually
it's like wrestlers playing basketball, right. Yeah. They basically say, oh,
we're supposed to dribble, let's do something about it. And

(37:08):
then they just go to the basket and just wipe
people out. It's pretty but they're they're they're wrestlers or
something like that. Yeah, yeah, I'm go guys. As we
gear up for the weekend, I got some movies I'm
gonna share. I'm gonna save the big one for tomorrow.
But there's also Tetris tells the unbelievable true story of
the creator of Tetris going to the Soviet Union, meeting

(37:30):
the investor, and bringing it back to the masses. It's
a Cold War era thriller on steroids, with double crossing
villains unlikely here rail biting race to the finish starring
Taran Edgerton. Are you guys that are out? That's great.
I love Tetris. I grew up on Tetris. I was
a game I liked. But I'm I'm definitely not in cool. Yeah,
I just more of a snake guy. Fine, they're Jonas.

(37:53):
I don't know, I'm not I'm not. Yeah, Yeah, they
getting the game too right. Jonas is a centipede guy. Yeah,
which is a real game. By the way. The target
it definitely is but but it is fun. It definitely is.
I'm always finishing last in that game for some reason. Yeah,

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
