we're at.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
Yeah, yeah, hang it out. Brand new studio. Hey, hey,
you know, Eddie's going to get a new perspective. He's
going to appreciate me more because he's going to see
my facial expressions and he's going to see my mannerisms
and all those different things. When I say the things
(01:48):
that I'm saying, You're not just going to hear my voice,
which is kind of interesting. Direct eye contact and I
get to see him, do you know what his pea
hat on? You know, we're Pittsburgh got.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, so I'm talking about here. I mean, they're not
They're not those Pittsford Penguins, you know else not in
the playoffs anymore. The Boston Bruins. What a disaster they tried?
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Why is it a disaster? It's like the President's Cup.
It's a curse, isn't it?
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Kind of it seems that way at East you're the
NHL insider here, you're an expert historically biggest upset.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Of all time?
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Or what are we talking about in the NHL As
far as the Bruins losing to the Panthers.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
List, I think it's definitely in the discussion.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
For yeah, like top two, top three.
Speaker 5 (02:39):
Can I throw this question out there if you're a
Boston sports fan, what's worse? You have the greatest regular
season in NHL history and then you lose in the
opening round to the Florida Panthers, who, by the way,
I mean Florida always seems to play them tough.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Or the New England.
Speaker 5 (02:55):
Patriots, that's the one you think that's worse? Hell yeah,
why because they go all the way to the Super
Bowl undefeated in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
I think this is worse. It's the first round, no way,
and the Patriots had a.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Three to one series lead and Amos won one game.
You know those Cats came back. Yeah, and then I
just look at it like this, look out for the Cats.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
If you lose in the first round, it's like no harm,
no foul, because if you lose in the second rounds
like you lost in the second round. But if you
go undefeated and you're in the the last game of
the year, the last game, and you lose that bitch,
no way.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
I do feel like for the players it would be
more depressing. But probably I don't know. After having that
season for the Bruins and you lose to.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
The Cats like that, the.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Kiets, but also with the Patriots, the Giants had played
them tough towards the end of the regular season. That
was a really good game. It was a neutral sight,
this was at home. This was overtime, and they had
a three to one lead, and you had a lead
in that game, and they had a three to two lead.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
They had they had, they had the lead in this
game minute, I mean the Patriots had. The Patriots had
to lead, they had to lead.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
You had to catch the ball on the helmet, like,
think about that, Oh, was that the bubble gup helmet.
That's the bubble going bubblegum helmet stuck stick to my helmet.
Did David Tyree catch?
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (04:30):
I mean think about that man And had to scramble
for twenty minutes and throw the ball up and Rodney Harrison, which, yeah,
that's true, right, Okay.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
In fact, you can scrambled that log Have y'all flown
through Boston Airport? Logan Airport there, Boston, Yes, okay, so
let me just take a picture for you. Okay if
you went up and looked up though, like a Wikipedia
page for every one of those teams, the Bruins, the Celtics,
(05:01):
the Patriots, the Red Sox. They have every championship banner
hanging up as you go through security.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Is it's most you think that you think.
Speaker 5 (05:14):
That you've seen success for a sports town, then you
walk through that and you go, oh, these people are
kind of spoiled, Like now, I don't think they take
for granted what's happened. Like I think they are great
sports down they're great. It's a great fan base, but
they've had so much success that eventually you're gonna have
(05:36):
some of the downside with it too, Like you're gonna
have the New England Patriots going undefeated, being on the
brink of being the greatest team NFL.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
History, only to lose the Super Bowl to the Giants.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
Or the greatest you know, the greatest season NHL history,
only to lose to the Florida Panthers the Cats in
the first round.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Like, kids, that stuff's gonna happen.
Speaker 5 (05:56):
It's just it's gonna happen when you're that successful and
you're always in the playoffs and you're you're playing for
a super Bowl and you played for what eight how
many of the did Bill Belichick and Tom Brady play
for over the period period of time together?
Speaker 3 (06:11):
Okay, there you go, Like you when you when you put.
Speaker 5 (06:14):
Yourself in competition that much, Yeah, you're gonna be on
the wrong side of it a couple of times too.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
I played for seven years. Perspective for you, one play
two playoffs during my time, I played in one and
I played for seven years.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Only playoffs we ever went, so we lost in New England.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
So I mean, I'm just saying like they went to
more super Bowls than I had years in the league.
Speaker 5 (06:44):
For real, Like it's worth just the flight, just going
through Boston security, when you see all the all the banner,
it's all the It's.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Like, wow, it's a party town man. People.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
If you didn't know, like what I didn't realize I was.
I was dating a chick that one the Harvard Mad
School and it was a low key.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
She was. She was freaking beautiful too.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
Uhage total package. Yes, I mean I was in Boston
quite a bit. But like there's that pocket dark like
take down a elephant, blow dark on that one, all right.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
And and you know.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
They had like that row of like bars, right, I
like them. I bobbed for him. I didn't pick them.
I bobbed for him. I'm talking about Baston man. I
had the clan Chatta. It was good too. I tell you,
the clan chat is different in Boston.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Bro.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Yeah, so the main, the main, the main what is
it the lobster or what what's the main lobster?
Speaker 3 (07:59):
Yeah, crab whatever.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
It is, yeah, yeah, whatever, lobster roll. Yeah, I mean
it's there. It was there in Boston. I'll tell you that.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
It is funny that Brady mentions they didn't bring it
from Maine. It is called it wasn't called Boston crab.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
It is.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
It is funny that we want to catch Boston crabs.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
People have at Boston.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
I didn't want to catch them. You don't want to
catch them and you don't want to house them, you
know it is you damn sure don't want to eat them.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Yeah, definitely not definitely not Joe, Joe your breakfast everybody.
But it's it is funny that that Brady mentioned Brady
mentions flying when it comes to Boston because uh, well
there there was a comp made on the loss for
the Bruins last night. Take it away, Jack Edwards on
nesson television. When this joy ride in it burke like in.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
The second Acred setting a team.
Speaker 7 (09:12):
You know.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
This series is.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
The first thing is that Harry Carrey. It's not Eric Carrey.
I think he was just so stunned.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
I mean that sounded like Harry Carey, oh man drinking
at the start.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Of a.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
Boston spelled backwards.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
It's not stop hi nd Broke spelled backwards.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Good. But was it Tampa before that?
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Tampa?
Speaker 3 (09:54):
What do you mean?
Speaker 5 (09:54):
Tampa was the President's Cup winner and then they lost
in the first round.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
I'm trying to think who was the last one to it?
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yes, yeah, they got sweat Columbus or some people call
them the Manitoba sweater coats.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
You know some people sweats who calls them that?
Speaker 5 (10:11):
Okay, I was at a Panthers game one time and
these guys were annihilated and this you have to understand,
this is a while back because before the Panthers got good,
their ownership kind of changed over.
Speaker 3 (10:23):
They were sparsely attended.
Speaker 5 (10:24):
I mean it was it was always like one of
the funny things, they shoot off the cannon with the
T shirts and you're like, all right, it is gonna
hit a seat or a fan, and like the favorite
was the seat, Like the odds were on were favorite
towards the seat, and then you'd see a kid or
someone would eventually run over. There's times where like it'd
be the people cleaning up after the game would get
a free T shirt because there was just a shot
(10:46):
that cannon. Yeah, I just they shot it to somewhere
where no one was at. But they changed over ownership,
a lot of changes within that organization, and they've been
I mean they've been competitive since, much more competitive, better attended.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
There's a lot of a.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
Lot of hype around him and so, but we were
at a game and it was back then. It was
when the Columbus Blue Jackets. My brother in law was
playing for them, and so they were in town and
these these I don't know where these guys are from,
but they just kept calling them the Manitoba sweater coats
instead of the Columbus Blue Jackets, so.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I don't know where they got. It was one of
the funniest things I've ever heard.
Speaker 5 (11:22):
They were hammered well, like trying to get it out
and try to like just trying to say Manitoba, Manitoba
sweater coats.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Yeah, Manitoba sweat coats. I mean we had we had
three games seven. That is kind of hard to say. Yeah,
like main lobster in Boston.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
By the way, can I say this, the Russell Wilson
jinks on Colorado and leaving Seattle just continues. Now you
got you, now you got the abs losing to the
crack in last night Unford. I'm just listening. Thanks for
By the way, there's no way in hell that your
brother in law is anywhere close to one hundred percent.
He looked like he was really banged up towards the
(11:59):
end of that game trying to get get to the bench.
He was almost doubled over just trying to reach the bench.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
And I don't think he's getting shot up just to
play right now, He's got a groin injury, which for
hockey is obviously pretty important.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Joining the club with the juices of the gods. Yeah,
the problem is. I don't know that toward doll is
going to fix it. He might get need to. Oh no,
it's not going to fix it. Yeah, he might get through.
Fix it. You'll get you'll get through. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
I ain't say it's going to fix it. I said,
don't fix it, Jesus, just just get me through that
tour doll will get you through.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:34):
Oh man, she's where you're hitting me to day, Doc,
the arm, the booty. Where are you getting me?
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Right there? Okay, you don't put the band aid right there.
I don't need a band aid, Doc, I'm good. And
then when it's all gone, has a feeling bad. But
that's like Tuesday.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
It's like Tuesday when you get when you get the
feeling back, like you're sore Sunday night, like when you
start to come down off of your your high and
all that stuff. You feel it a little bit, but
you don't feel into it like Monday, your your you're
stiff as hell. Tuesday you're like, am I alive?
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Like? Am I gonna make it? And go? Figure?
Speaker 4 (13:14):
Because you only have Wednesday, Thursday, Friday really left like
Wednesday and Tuesdays generally in old days, Tuesday was bloody Tuesday.
So that was the day you were going to bang,
you know. So if you felt that bad on Tuesday,
it was pretty bad for you.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
You know. Yeah, But that toward all gets you through,
don yea.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Toward Hall, Nectar.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Of the Gods, Nectar of the Gods.
Speaker 1 (13:40):

LeVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here. Coming
up a little over twenty minutes from now in another
edition of In Case you missed it, We've got some
behavior from a coach in the NFL and somebody who
knows this coach who's going to have to speak on
his behalf because some suspect behavior took place over the weekend.
We will get into that for you here again coming up.
(14:55):
Uh I hope cue no, Well, listen to me who
knows see art of the teas. We'll find out a.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
Let me that's why you guys don't put the topics
on on the sheet.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
So I don't know, let me talking about I don't know,
there's no topics here. Yeah, what's sheet? I don't know
what a sheet? The rundown, Yeah, that's what it's called
the rundown or whatever. Just just wing. Only you and
Lee know what we're talking about, you know.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
I mean, you know, just we try and keep it,
you know, as authentic as possible here. Last thing we
want to do is do anything artificial.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
That's that's fair. You know what.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
Speaking of artificial, A don't be touching on my papers player,
just like you don't need to be touching down on
some official turf on the football field. You know why
because it costs thirty two percent more non contact knee injuries.
That's right. An American grat sea company, Pennington, is on
a mission to ban turf fields with their hashtag flip
(15:55):
the Turf movement. So go to Pennington dot com slash
flip the Turf now to learn more and sign the
petition for teams to hashtag flip.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
The turf to real grass. Yeah. Yeah, nothing artificial about that.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
So I was noticing something and I'm trying to figure
out exactly what the common denominator is here. But I'm
looking at the Eagles draft board and I'm seeing all right,
So Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, Keey Ringo, they traded for
DeAndre Swift. Huh sure, seems a.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Bunch of Georgia Bulldogs. Somebody really enjoys Georgia, the Philadelphia Bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
It just seems like there's a there's a theme there
to go with the two players from Georgia they took
last year. Man Philly just loves those Georgia Bulldogs.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
I mean they win, you know, yeah, you got to
run on national championships and they win, so you know,
it is what it is, right, So the winner reached
the spoils is what they say or whatever.
Speaker 5 (16:54):
There's worse strategies, right, Like the teams won the national
championship the past two years large led by their defense.
Let's just go draft all those guys like that. That
kind of makes a lot of sense if you think
about it. I mean, Jordan Davis, Na Kobe Dean last year,
and you got three more guys and Jalen Carter, Nolan
Smith and Keieley Ringo, And honestly, the best part about
(17:15):
all of it is they didn't reach for any of them.
Jalen Carter ended up there at nine. They trade from
ten to nine. That's not a reach. He's arguably the
best overall prospect in the draft class.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Nolan Smith was a.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Player that you know when you when you listen to
some people talk, they're like, well, if they took him
at nine, people wouldn't have been upset about it because
he showcased that sort of athleticism and that sort of
ability during his time at Georgia. They get him in
the thirtieth pick, and then you look at Killey Ringo.
Most people didn't think you get out of second round.
I sure didn't, not based on his tape. I mean,
(17:49):
he's he's tall, as long, he's fast, he's you know,
you got a lot of the skills that you're looking
for to translate the next level. And he ends up
in the fourth round. So the other thing is that
it's not like they're going out of their way to
bring on these players. They're getting them at good spots too,
where they're not having to get up a ton for it.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
And I guess if you include.
Speaker 5 (18:09):
DeAndre Swift into this mix, Look, they get him for
a year, he's get a year under contract. Maybe they
can agree to a more economical contract to extend them
for another year or so. But it was also in
neeed like, even with their stable of running backs, they
now get a guy in there who's a bit more
of a kind of I don't wanst say, dynamic playmaker,
but you know it can help replace the loss of
Miles Sanders. So I loved what they did in the draft.
(18:32):
I actually loved their entire draft. I mean they got Steen,
the tackle out of Alabama that provided some depth there too.
I mean they kind of just drafted the SEC. That's
essentially what they've done, and they're deep, Phillies deep. They
got to be considered to be far and away the
favorite coming into this season, especially within the NFC East. Now,
(18:54):
in terms of the entirety of the NFC, you know,
I wouldn't feel bad putting them right there at the
top as well.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
I'd say they're behind San fran The Niners are the
favorite to come out of the NFC.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
Yeah, I'm looking at at what currently the Eagles are.
I would be more comfortable saying the Eagles right now,
I would too.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
I just I don't think the San Francisco thing, and
we talked about it maybe last week or the week before,
with their unanswered questions at quarterback, I just don't know
how everybody goes into the season and says, I'll screw it.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
Make the Niners a favorite.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
I mean, Rock Perty's not healthy, neither is Trey Lance,
and we haven't seen enough of Trey Lance to know anything.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
The Eagles defensive front.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
Here's what you gotta understand when you get a guy
like a Jalen Carter and you already have a bunch
of guys out there, and then you got Fletcher Cox
as like the senior statesman of a group. You don't
have to have a ton of experience. That's one of
those positions where you actually can translate quickly into having
(19:56):
success at this level. So when you you're talking about
having that type of a rotation with that type of talent,
it's just going to be very, very uncomfortable dealing with
that defensive front. And they got active linebackers and it's
that Philly style thumper linebacker mentality. It's just and they
(20:17):
and they loaded up their second deary, It's just.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
Not going to be good.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
It's going to be a lot of carnage when when
Philadelphia is playing people this year. I mean, I'm predicting pain.
And when you look at the way the way they're
configured Philadelphia is they're probably going to be better, most
likely than even what they were last season.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
If you go back the last twenty years, it's hard
to find an organization that's as consistent as Philly. And
what I mean by that is they've had success with
every single head coach. They brought on Andy Reid, they
had success. When they moved on from him. They had
success with Chip Kelly, they wanted division his first year.
They moved on from him. They brought in Doug Peterson,
(21:03):
obviously had success, won a Super Bowl. Then they turn
it over. They bring in a new head coach, Nick Sirianni,
have success. We're talking different quarterbacks, different coaches. And every
single time. If I was a team and my favorite
team was not the Eagles, I'd be pissed at my
team that they weren't looking at the league and how
to build their roster like the Eagles do, because they're
(21:24):
never satisfied, Like this is a team that was just
in the Super Bowl and they're out wheeling and dealing
adding great players. And of course, and of course they
would be the team that would add DeAndre Swift. Of
course they would of all the teams, like of course
it would be Philly that would make the move on Saturday.
Speaker 5 (21:40):
Well, here's the thing is that they can afford to
do so because of the Hurtz contract, as big as
it was reported, it's one that doesn't hit them big
time in the cap this year, and because the way
it's structured, which if you look at the voidable years,
by the way of this team, I don't know if
we talked about this last week or not, he's got
like four I think avoidable years that are attached till
(22:01):
twenty thirty two.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
I mean, they like he'll be they'll be on that,
I mean.
Speaker 5 (22:05):
And and by the way, it makes sense because you've
got Hurts, who's a young player still in this league.
You've extended him, you use the last year of his
rookie deal, then you have the five year extension on
top of that, and then you have four voidable years
that they don't matter because if Hurts plays the way
they think he's going to play, they'll they'll they'll you know,
(22:25):
renegotiate and extend them in this contract, and so they'll
restructure what that looks like moving forward. So that's that's
just the funny thing about these contracts that get reported.
You're like, okay, you know, call it, you know, put
whatever tag you want on the contract and what was
what was put out there. But the truth of the
matter is none of it's real. I mean, like, like,
(22:46):
let's say things don't work out for Jalen Hurts, they
will be paying for him almost for the next decade,
almost for the next decade. That's how this contract is structured.
So it's just anyway they've got room to be able
to build around him because of the way that the
contract is structured. You know, even though it's it's advertised
(23:06):
as the biggest we at least before the most recent contract,
but the biggest in NFL history before Lamar's that's what
everyone was saying. Well, it's it's not really you if
you really break it down.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
But yeah, if you just look at it overall, you
can say that until you get into the details, and
so just you pump that up. And then it was
you know, Lamar Jackson took his deal and now we
get to wait to see who gets the next big contract.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
But it's it's just.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
Funny, man, Philadelphia always the team, Like last year, AJ
Brown could potentially be traded.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Of course Philly is the one that did it.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
Of course, like why wouldn't it be Philly. They're always
they're always adding pieces, always adding guys, even after they
were just in a Super Bowl with the quarterback who
was the best player on the field. So yeah, that's
the that's where it stands, right, now Philadelphia and San
Francisco looked at as the favorites to come out of
the NFC. I'll take my chances with Philly the Super Bowl,
no Super Bowl hangover. With Philadelphia, we feel confident that
(23:59):
they're still make a deep run there.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
Bar I do if they stay healthy and and they
gain experience quickly within the season and find that continuity,
I mean, even even if they don't find total equilibrium
with continuity on the defensive side of the ball. I
just think if I'm a defensive coordinator with that type
of personnel, I'm letting them fly, like fly around, just fly.
(24:25):
I don't know if I'm telling them two gap, one gap,
I don't give a damn.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Go get ball, seball, get ball.
Speaker 4 (24:33):
And if you keep it that simple with that type
of athleticism and just sheer power, power, fire power and
brute strength up front, and it's I just don't understand
how how that's been Like that's a defensive front. I
(24:54):
just don't even understand it, Like if you really think
about it, It's kind of what I don't get is.
Speaker 5 (24:59):
When teams for some reason, like they'll go a different direction.
I mean, not that Dalton and Kaide's a bad player,
But I didn't think that was a need for the Bills.
They've got Dawson Knox in our contract at twenty twenty six, but.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
They go get another tight end.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
Okay, that's fine, if they've got something else in mind,
maybe they want to play more two tight end sets.
But you can't find these really good big guys all
throughout the draft and be able to play them early
in their career. Otherwise they need some development or they
need some technical training, and that's where you look at
a first round pick like that. You're going, all right,
(25:35):
you know, granted they get o Cyrus Torrents in the
second round to help out their interior offensive line, but
you know you're telling me you couldn't have used more
depth up front on your defensive line or your offensive line.
You couldn't have used another potential interior player. I just
big men are so on each side of the football.
It's how you build your roster, and it's rare every
(25:55):
year when they come out where you get guys who
are truly NFL ready. So unless there's a need elsewhere,
I just always find it surprise what teams are just
loading up their roster with guys who are capable of playing.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
Philly got the best big defensive lineman in the last
two drafts. Yeah, in Jaylen Carter and Davis before yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Like the last two drafts they took the best two
big defensive linemen in the draft like two years of
Imagine being an offensive lineman and you're like, Okay, thank god,
Jordan Davis is going out for a couple of for
a blow, thank god.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
And then you see Jalen Carter walk.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
In having a deal with that rotay man with them
dudes get up off of that that.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
When they get up off that buzz, they gonna.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Be like, God, dang, what are they? Those are aliens?
The monster geez, they get up off that.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
They come up off that budget won't see the buzz
going back up.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
It's called to be close to.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
That must go raise back up like three four inches
after they walk off, you don't fill the ground shaken.
When they walk in into the locker room. Imagine what
warm ups is gonna look like. Quarterback's gonna be sitting
there like, man, I'll take y'all out. I'll take y'all
a Capitol grille after this one. Man, just just please
(27:22):
hold up. Brady have you ever been worn to hold up?
Speaker 1 (27:25):
You ever wore them up before a game and see
somebody on defense and go christ.
Speaker 5 (27:32):
We got to deal with that, oh man, no, because
usually the entire week you're thinking that when you watch
them on film. The only person that I remember thinking
damn was big was when we were playing against the Giants.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
I think we were had him in like a I
think it.
Speaker 5 (27:49):
Was like a preseason game and uh, Brandon Jacobs walked by.
I looked at the coaches. I was like, oh God,
I was like, who's that was that one of their dns.
They're like, no, man, that's Brandon Jacobs. I was like,
I was like, well, I was like, we're ready to
build a lead on this one. How'm I can throw
the football a little bit more?
Speaker 4 (28:11):
And he was fast. Not only was he ginormous, he
was fast too, so and that's what you want to
deal with with them. Them Georgia Boys and Philadelphia big, strong, fast. Yeah,
they're gonna be fun to watch, and God bless it
is gonna be fun to watch.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
Man.
Speaker 1 (28:31):

The guys are here to bring you in case you

Speaker 6 (30:38):
Good morning, everybody, Happy Monday. LeVar Brady Jonas. Good to
see you, guys, La. Yes, sir guys. In case you
missed this, we might be in Morning Brady. We might
be in inline for a nickname change. We've uh, we've
(30:59):
obviously talked about Sean mcvape.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Last week.
Speaker 6 (31:01):
We also talked about Sean Payton ripping the bong. Now,
our guy, Brian day Ball was caught on live TV
during the draft ripping a vape.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
Do you guys see this vape or a vape? It
looks like a vape.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
Okay, it was too hard to tell. I thought it
was a stogy for a second.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
I mean, dump truck Nuts is walking around with a
vapor in.
Speaker 4 (31:22):
His book, definitely holding it like a vape. Yeah, you
don't hold a cigar that way.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
So now we so confirmed vapors are Sean mcvape McDaniels uh,
or Mike McDaniel with Miami. And now we've got vape Ball.
So there's three coaches.
Speaker 5 (31:39):
Vape McDaniels, all all considered good offensive lines. I mean,
maybe if you want to be a good play call,
you gotta start vaping it up.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
I mean, if Matt Patricia would have vaped a little more, maybe, uh,
it would.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
Have worked out better vape for him.
Speaker 5 (31:52):
All right, kids, if you would offensive courting one day,
it's like they're like Joe Campbell.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Now it's like a cigarette.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
You remember Joe campbells Joe Campbell man, you know, with
leather jacket on, great mustache.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
Joe Cammell is now just gone like it's looked at
and frowned upon. Ye, I mean, come on, something wrong
with Joe Cammel.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
So nicotine uh, and tobacco was replaced with the oil.
Speaker 3 (32:23):
Huh nicotine and the oil? Okay?
Speaker 1 (32:25):
So is vape weed?
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Some of it? Some? I mean this is this is
the Yeah, what is this?
Speaker 4 (32:34):
That's an expert those Yeah, I probably am that that
is nicotine as well.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
But but let's be clear that might it might be
th h C.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
It might.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
I mean there might be uh you know, the the
ingredients of what would be considered weed or just CBD,
c B D.
Speaker 5 (32:55):
It could be CBD, could be could be down with
O P P Yeah, yeah, it could.
Speaker 4 (33:00):
Be o PP and you know it could be I
don't think other people's vague parts, you know, smoke it.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Ye there, Lee, what's your best guess on this?
Speaker 3 (33:11):
For for fate Ball.
Speaker 6 (33:13):
I would say either CBD or nicotine. I wouldn't think
he's ripping the THHC draft D.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
I agree with that.
Speaker 5 (33:20):
Aren't there conditions though, where you've got like a medical card.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
For that so you could? Yeah, you could.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
That doesn't mean that they let you do it though,
because I mean the ones that smell like weed are
very strong, like you can smell it with two cherries
and makes the whole rooms.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
Is this just replacing dip?
Speaker 1 (33:38):
I hope not.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
Is that I mean, because you don't see you don't
see coaches dip anymore.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Yeah, not a lot of allowed. I don't think they
don't allow you to be able to dip just to horses.
You a Copenhagen, because that's what they're worried about. On
the field, turf and artificial your.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
Dip those spare tire parts forget.
Speaker 5 (33:56):
Forget about all their carcinogens, the potential staff cancer.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
No, no sunflower seeds, your friends a day balls.
Speaker 3 (34:04):
He a lung dark guy, I don't recall that.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
Definitely a beer guy like great I mean, first off,
great human dang like Dave's is one of the greatest
dudes ever.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
I mean cracking Piers, I don't. I mean, I don't
smoke so bad. I don't know. Maybe if you rip
some darts with someone else, maybe, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
I just wonder if you saw like a pack of
the American spirits, and.
Speaker 3 (34:26):
That dude is a worker.
Speaker 5 (34:28):
I didn't see him do anything off at work the
entire time I was ever around him, like sleeping the
facility type thing, Like you never get to see him.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
There's not a correlation between vap and and cigarettes though,
Like just because you smoke a vape doesn't mean you're
a cigarette smoker. There are a lot It's more on
par with dip. I don't think that you would be
a dipper. You could correlate a dipper to being uh oh,
I'm saying more of like the nicotine fixed.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
Kind of thing. Yeah, well, yeah, yeah, you want a nicketack?
You want you want that a little bit of a buzz?
Speaker 1 (35:00):
What about Shaw?
Speaker 3 (35:01):
What's that jaw? Like the un.
Speaker 1 (35:05):
Don't you can you can you even say the name
of the most famous chaw company? Can you even say
that anymore?
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Red? Okay? I know about Yeah, that's the questionable.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
Interesting that was in a bag is chew chew wrap
wrapping into big chew, taking them your.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Definitely. People do that football too.
Speaker 4 (35:32):
They put their put it in a bubble gum, put.
Speaker 3 (35:36):
It right, just not on it, yea god.
Speaker 4 (35:38):
Suck on it in between the gums gum and the
lips nasty.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
They changed the name of the jonas they don't call
it that anymore.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
What do they call it now? I have to look
it up.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
I think it's called America's Best chew.
Speaker 5 (35:49):
Now there, it is America's best Chew's facing it right.
Speaker 4 (35:55):
You kind of went away from the derogatory and made
it America.
Speaker 3 (35:59):
In their face.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
It's pretty arrogant, you know, for them to come out
with a name like that. Yeah, how how can you
say it's America's best to right? Although I can't think
of another one?
Speaker 3 (36:09):
Was it voted on?
Speaker 1 (36:10):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
I'm a sucker for that.
Speaker 5 (36:12):
When I'm like walking down the street, it's like, oh,
you know, I thought you Erica's best sandwich?
Speaker 3 (36:17):
Like, oh is it?
Speaker 5 (36:18):
I kind of felt at the chef and I don't know,
But every time they put it up, I'm like, well,
now I'm gonna try it. These jerks every time best
cup of coffee, all right, let's go, let's go try
this one out.
Speaker 6 (36:29):
World famous I was like, what because some guy in Australia.
Speaker 5 (36:33):
I don't know, but every time I'm a sucker for it. Man,
that advertising works for me.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
I'm just telling you, I thought that they were talking
about it being kind of arrogant to say America's you know,
greatest kind is because you're you're you're it was named
after what will be perceived as a native natives to
the land. That's what I said it, Okay. I wasn't
sure if that's where you guys were at. That's where
I was going. Okay, Like Jonas aired as in a
(37:00):
different direction.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
Just talking chaw here, I just figured out, bring it
back to the whole original name of the cha. Yeah,
and how how you're.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Going to go rub it into face by calling in
America's best shoe.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
It's a bit insulting, tabit.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
What else you got, leebit?
Speaker 3 (37:17):
Guys.
Speaker 6 (37:18):
A player that we've talked a lot about on the show,
Georgia's tight end Darnell Washington, fell in the draft to
the late third round pick ninety three by the Steelers.
I was bummed because I wanted the Packers to pick him.
They picked two other tight ends in front of him. Anyway,
the reason being medical issues. He had knee surgery for
cartilage inflammation, but he maintains that nothing structurally wrong with
(37:39):
his knee.
Speaker 5 (37:41):
You know what's crazy about that kid. It'll be a
great tight end in the NFL, especially if he stays healthy.
I mean, he's just massive, and he's athletic, and you
can't teach the skills that he's got. If he just
put on thirty more pounds, he would have been a
top fifteen pick. I mean, just that's that's how we
viewed tackles us tight ends, even though his his utility
(38:02):
as being able to be a tight end who could
match up with a d N because he's that big,
he's that massive, he's good run blocking.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Past pro six seven to seventy said, you're putting.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
Thirty pounds on him.
Speaker 5 (38:17):
He's now viewed as like a franchise cornerstone at left
tack maybe right.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Sackle sixty seven seventy.
Speaker 4 (38:24):
That's really big. That's really big to be moving down
to field the way.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
How how insane is the level of talent in the
NFL that that guy fell in the draft at six
seven seventy.
Speaker 4 (38:38):
That's bigger, stronger, faster, good god man like Ricky Dudley.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
Was tall like that, but he wasn't here. I remember Dudley.
Speaker 5 (38:45):
He played basketball right, yeah, yeah, State, but he wasn't No.
Speaker 4 (38:49):
Two seventy though, And he was yoked big bones. He
was yoked up bones. I had to deal with him,
and I did. That's talking about very easily right there.
Speaker 3 (39:02):
Size is only size. Yeah, I hear you. They are
the harder they fall, I've heard that my whole life.
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (39:09):
Or the bigger they are, the more compliments you get.
Speaker 7 (39:15):
