(00:26):
So it's been one of the most talked about stories
in the NFL all off season, and there continues to
be discussions about it, and the man at the center
of it all has spoken yet again, and you will
hear from him coming up here just a couple of
moments from now. He's Jeff Schwartz. I'm Jonas Knox. This
is Fox Sports Radio. It's how kick the Coverage here

(00:46):
on fs ARE. You can hang out with us on
the I Heart Radio app. You can find us on
hundreds of Fox Sports Radio affiliates and wherever you are,
making us a part of your Thursday morning. It is
a football Thursday. The Hall of Fame game come out
later on tonight and we're gonna take you all the
way up until nine am Eastern times, six o'clock Pacific,
and we will do so with the man himself. The

(01:06):
man who doesn't need eighty ounces of coffee or even
forty ounce, is just one cup and he is ready
to rock. Jeff Schwartz, Yeah, man, I mean it is early,
don't get me wrong, but one one cup of coffee
gets me going. It's all I need. I'm not a
double of Anti plus, I'm not. I'm not a Starbucks guy.
I hope they're on a sponsor this show. It's it's
just not It's just not what I do. So I
am glad for Dan Campbell. He is probably already caffeine

(01:30):
up this morning, ready for practice today. But I'm naturally
excited from work and uh, I enjoy talking about ball.
By the way, can I tell you a little something
that that fun fact that surprised me when it came
to coffee. And this is one of the beauties of
doing weekend overnight radio here on Fox Sports Radio. You
get random calls from time to time from people that
are experts in certain fields and so on my highly

(01:53):
rated weekend Overnight show, which which is so highly rated
that it's not even rated at all. Uh, it's a
completely surpassed the ceiling on ratings. H We were having
a conversation about coffee and a barista called me from
Seattle and said, one of the biggest misnomers about coffee
is that dark roast is stronger than lighter roast. It's not.

(02:18):
Light roast is always stronger and more caffeinated than a
dark roast. And and the way he broke it down
for me was a darker roast means the beans have
been cooking longer. The lighter roast means that they haven't,
So you haven't taken out all the juice, all the
all the potency off those coffee beans. So when you're
ordering a coffee, if you want it stronger without adding

(02:40):
a shot to it, an espresso shot, get the lighter
roast coffee. How about that? How about that? Uh, a
little fun fact there, Jeff Schwartz. Interesting, I know, I
completely had it wrong for years and ever since then,
I always go to the lighter roast. That's my go to.
I like taking colors. It's fun. Um. I don't do

(03:01):
a lot of shows where we get callers. It's just
like it's just it's just always fun to hear other
people's opinions on things and then just laugh. And most
of the time I just laugh and laugh at them. Well,
that's what Twitter is for. That's what that way you
can have Twitter just is Yeah, but Twitter you can't
it back and forth. You just can't. I made this
comment about Baker Mayfield and these brown svans are just
being in their feelings and all sensitive. And when you

(03:22):
talk on the radio or how a chance to talk
about just the conversations just go much differently. They're not
a bunch of whiney fans. They're being sensitive. Yeah, it's
uh that and and then welcome to the world of
social media. And look, we will you know, I take
calls from time to time on the on the weekend shows.
But the problem is, most of the time at that
time slot, people are hammered and they can't be trusted.

(03:44):
And I'm not gonna lose my job because some guys,
you know, got an ivy of moonshine and some shack
in Mississippi and i gotta I gotta deal with the
repercussions because he made a comment about somebody on the air.
So you know, you gotta make decisions, tough programming decisions
here at FS are. Uh. Speaking of tough decisions, Aaron
Rodgers had a tough decision to make this offseason, Jeff Schwartz,

(04:05):
was he going to return to the Green Bay Packers,
was he going to retire? Apparently the Jeopardy gig is
out the window. He's not going to be the host
of Jeopardy. But Aaron Rodgers did talk at Packers training
camp on Wednesday about his relationship with the general manager there,
Brian Gooden coast. I think it's a work in progress
for sure. I mean, I think relationships aren't formed in

(04:28):
a matter of a couple of days. You know, there's
there's time where their respect grows and in the communication follows.
You know, I think the greatest relationships that you have,
you know, with your friends and loved ones, involved conversations
that flow. You know, you cannot talk to a close
friend for a few months and pick up probably where
he left off. There's no break in communication. There's no

(04:50):
forced conversations or you gotta hit this person up because
it's on your to do list that day. You know,
it's all about wanting to have those those conversations and
wanting to you have to be in conversation like that,
and uh, you know we're We've had a couple of
conversations and conversations, Yeah, so Brian Gudenkun has been there since.

(05:13):
At what point do you think that relationship is going
to get stronger? I like, what are we talking about here?
I thought Rogers unloaded on the first day, he came
back to get this all out and not have to
talk about anymore. I'm surprised he's still going down this path, um.
And you know what's really gonna make the relationship better
is calling him out on the press conference. That's that's

(05:34):
really going to make the relationship get much stronger. I
don't really understand why Rogers continue to go down this road.
You said what you said on the first opening day
that was I love that press conference. Honest, he got out,
he got it out. Um. I would have just gone
the route of I'm not talking about this anymore. I'm
just not doing anymore. And he just he just can't,

(05:55):
he can't get over this. And I just you know,
some general managers don't have I don't really have personalities, right,
They're just there to do their job. And I don't
know why he has to be like best friends with
Aaron Rodgers. I I just I failed. His job is
to is to have relationship with him, and that's it.

(06:17):
His jobs off, to tell him every move they're doing,
not to have him including everything. Um, I don't know
what Aaron Rodgers wants and he's he ever said to
brun kids, I want this type of relationship with you.
This is what we should be, you know, this is
the relationship we should have. I don't think he's ever
had that conversation. No, it doesn't sound like And look,
I like the press conference as well too, And I

(06:39):
like Aaron Rodgers. Yeah, he's a little bit you know,
he approaches things differently. He's more of a thinker, a
little bit more passive aggressive. But that was what was
so eye opening about the press conference he had when
he first got there, is that he laid it all out,
and not in an insulting way, but in a this
is this is my issue with the organization, this is
what I'd like to see done. And it was almost

(06:59):
like he'd been sitting on it for months and months
and that was his moment to get this all out.
And yet here we are again to your point, he's
talking about the relationship with the GM, But why don't
we just call it what it is? And I'm not
saying that Aaron Rodgers is lying or sort of, you know,
trying to dance around the issue or dress up what
the situation is. Let's just call what it is. Um,
this is a let's play nice for the season, and

(07:22):
then we're both moving on in our separate directions in
a separate way. After the year's over. We're going our
separate ways. It's done. Like we're just playing nice this year.
And if that's the case, who cares if you talk?
Who cares if you talk? Ever? Again, Like it doesn't
matter at this point. He's there and play the season
and move on. But but I don't think this could

(07:44):
be his last year there to Like that's why I
think Rogers might be talking about formulations. Where's there's there's
no place Rogers will go next season that gives him
a chance to win, like green Bay going to Denver
doesn't and Denver, by the way, if they don't play
well this year, Victango is out. Yeah. Probably, So there's

(08:06):
there's really anything. Rogers knows this right, it's deep down
he knows that green Bay is the best place for
him to win and if he wants to to continue
to to act this legacy with Super Bowls, this is
the place for him to be. Yeah, I mean, look,
and I think that you know, it's just surprising because
you know, all that we've been told is that you know,

(08:28):
they don't have a great roster, and they don't help
him out, and they don't do all of these things,
and like you look at the Packers roster and you go, well,
I don't know. I mean, guten Con hasn't been that bad.
I mean, you know, Botr he's a pretty good player.
He's your top left tack on the league according to
your perfect offensive mind. They have a lot of great players. Yeah,
Aaron Jones a great player. Davante Adams is a great player.

(08:49):
I mean, look, Tony in how many how many touchdown
catches do you have last year? Like seventy like like whatever,
it was like he had a monster year. Like defensively,
they've gotten her. They got a little bit exposed in
that playoff game against Tampa Bay, but Tampa Bay exposed
a lot of people down the stretch, especially going into
the postseason. So yeah, I I've thought, always thought that

(09:09):
was a little bit overblown. But look, this is going
to be if people thought they were just going to
rid themselves of the Aaron Rodgers story once he just
showed up because there was a fatigue attached to the
Aaron Rodgers story. And I get all that, and I've
always made the comparison that Dak Prescott contract with people
were tired of it, they were fed up with it.
And my old point on that discussion was, hey, guys,

(09:30):
it got us through a pandemic. Like so, I mean,
so be grateful because it was that, or it was
Joe Exotic, like we had two options in sports radio,
or the last dance of them were good yes, or
the last dance like we had three options, the last dance,
Tiger King and and Dak Prescott's contract extension. So like,
you know, that got done. This story it's gonna be

(09:53):
a story all year. And if God forbid, they lose
two in a row. You know how this is good.
You've been in NFL locker rooms where there's draw Mamma,
and all of a sudden there's a couple of losses
in a row. They say winning heels everything. Losing just
you know, highlights maybe potential issues like this. This is
going to be a topic of conversation the entire year.

(10:13):
It will be, And that's why I thought Rogers came
out strong in the press conference to not have to
ask answering more questions about this. But the more he
talks about it, the more it's going to be a
story instead of just being like, looked, I said what
I said, We're getting ready, we have camp, we're getting
for the season. We'll address after the season. I feel
like a lot of other quarterbacks would would go that route,

(10:37):
and he and he just he just can't. Like Brady
would have just been like I said my piece, I'm done,
but he can't. He can't let it go. Yeah, and
and so you know, the media is going to try
and continue to get sound bites out of him and
continue to try and get discussions out of him. Do
you think at some point, let me ask you this,

(10:59):
And I'm not I'm trying to ask you this question
so that you call out Aaron Rodgers, but let me
just ask you. Do you think a little part of
him likes sort of this attention where he's at right now? Yeah?
Like what all right? So what percentage were talking about?
Like a ninety percent of him likes this this part
of the attention that he's getting at training camp or

(11:19):
what do you think? Yeah, I mean, listen, uh, he
doesn't seem to mind it. I'll just say that, you know,
he doesn't seem to mind a lot of what's going on.
A lot of this played out the off season. He
was in Maui. Uh, you know, he was at a
golf tournament. Um, he shows up with the you know,

(11:40):
the long hair and the you know, the the Rick
Flair sunglasses or whatever those were those in nineteen eighties
sunglasses that he rolled up with. So yeah, I mean,
I do think a part of them likes it. I
just wonder if at some point he just says, listen,
I'm focused on the season. We'll we'll discuss more this
after the year, or if he's going to continue to
put pressure on the organization through the media. That that's

(12:03):
my big question mark now. But he tried to put
pressure on them and he lost, meaning how he tried
to pressure them to trade him and he lost. He
got called his bluff like his bluff got called. What
more pressure is he going to put on the media?
My point is the pressure being that, hey, you know, um, yeah,

(12:26):
this this is still not if you think that that
he may potentially be there next season if he continues
to have comments like this play out in the media,
is just going to continue to force the issue of
the Packers to try and work on this relationship or
are they already done and they're ready to move on
after the year. And maybe that's why he continues to
discuss it. I guess I just don't. I think he

(12:53):
just likes the attention of the story. Yeah, I mean,
and it could be just as simple as that, which
is funny because you know the the I don't think
the Green Bay fans are with Rogers on this one either.
Like I understand if if you have the support of them,
but he doesn't. Yeah. Well, one thing that I've always

(13:13):
heard about that fan base is they always resonated. They
always Brett Farve always resonated to them differently than Rogers.
Ass like that. They they really love they like Aaron Rodgers,
they respect him. They probably think he's a better player,
but they loved Brett Farve. And I've never gotten a
sense from people I've talked to that Aaron Rodgers has

(13:34):
that sort of appeal to Packer fans like Brett Farve did.
I don't. I think, I mean, this is kind of
like California cool, right, doesn't really fit with fans. Yeah,
And and so that's why, you know, you just to
see that play out with that fan base has been
been kind of unique of the whole way through. He's
Jeff Schwartz and Jonas Knocks. It's out Kicked the Coverage

(13:55):
here Fox Sports Radio. You can listen to the show
is always on the I Heart Radio app. Coming up
next though, Um, if you thought the changes in the
world of college football, we're over with guess again because
we have got ourselves a potential conference alignment that could
throw everything out of whack. And if only we had

(14:16):
an insider, somebody who specialized in one of those conferences. Oh,
that's right, we do and you'll hear from him next year.
On fs ARE this this is out Kick the Coverage.
I'll kick the coverage here Fox Sports Radio. He's Jeff Schwartz,
I'm Jonas Knox here on fs ARE. Coming up ten
minutes from now here on Fox Sports Radio, we are

(14:38):
going to have ourselves the latest installment of Animal Thunderdome,
and we can only hope that it will go a
lot smoother than it did last week, in which Danny
g broke out a story of a bear ripping apart
a human being like it was a fruit roll up
inside a tent, so so hopefully yeah, you know, very

(15:01):
very disturbing. Uh, and a lot of commentary on that.
So we will get to that here coming up in
about ten minutes from now on Fox Sports Radio. By

Slash Yes two thousand, twenty one Nielson Report limitations apply. So,

(15:25):
Jeff Schwartz, you do a lot of work with the
with the Pack twelve, obviously being a Pack twelve. Alum,
I know you do a lot of radio with the
with the Pack twelve. Um and Um. There's been some
rumblings about how the Pack twelve might adjust to what
happened between Texas and Oklahoma going to the SEC, and
one of those rumors that was out there that's been

(15:46):
made made the rounds in the last couple of days
has been a potential Big twelve Pack twelve. Uh. You know,
it's sort of an agreement, an alignment, if you will. Um,
it feels like the Big twelve is kind of scrambling
right now, because when you actually take a look at
the Big twelve and without Oklahoma and Texas, uh, some
slim pickings there, um, which is why they were really

(16:09):
bothered by their decisions to leave to go to the SEC.
But that being said, um, the Pack twelve could be
looking a little bit different in the next few years
here based on some of these reports. Yeah, so this
is about two weeks ago now, right, Oklahoma and Texas.
It was announced we're looking to join the SEC conference.
And that happened fast and and and they've done that,
and I think this will happen sooner than five. And

(16:30):
when it happened, there was a scramble of of what
happens next? Right, just does a Big twelve, Pack twelve
and Big ten and a SEC and whoa. And it's
like two weeks later, it's like, all right, we've calmed
down and we've realized, I think that nothing has to happen. Right,
the Big twelve has eight teams left, and I'm sorry

(16:52):
Big twelve fans, I'm sorry. None of the eight teams
left are very appetising into the Pack twelve conference with
the Big ten. Wow. Here, So here's Jonas here's why.
I'll explain why. Okay, So let's say that every Pack
twelve team right now is getting ten million dollars per
h you know, from their team to I actually think
it's actually the number is actually twenty four million per

(17:15):
I'm gonna find it right now because John Wilners, for
those who care, he's the best guy to cover the
PACTOL conference. He tweets this out. Um, So the goal
when you add here here goes Tier one media rights
for the Pack twelve is twenty four million per school.
The Big twelve media rights is twenty eight million per school,
and half of that of that twenty eight million comes

(17:38):
basically from Texas and Oklahoma being in their conference, right
per their commissioner. Okay, So if the Pack twelve to
add schools, and the reason you add schools is to
is to generate more revenue, right, it's not really Again,
we don't need to add schools unless there becomes four
leagues sixteen team conferences, right basically right, so SU conferences,

(18:00):
which might happen. So if we add four teams, does
the does the does the pie still equal twenty four
million or more for each school? If we add four
teams and it increases the overall number for the TV revenue.
But our schools, each individual school is getting less than

(18:21):
twenty four million, then that's a stupid deal for us,
right because you want to make more per school. And
there's an argument that none of the schools And look,
you can make the same argument for if usc An
Oregon in Washington U c l A. Were to leave
the pack towel of conference. Let's say usc usc Organ
out of the packtorlve conference, the same we'd be screwed
to the same argument can be made about the Pack
twelve or if Michigan Ohio State leave the Big ten.

(18:44):
Right like that, it can be made at any in
any conference. But right now the big twelves dealing with
this is the Pack twelve. Adding for the schools doesn't
help our bottom line unless Oklahoma State and Kansas and
Iowa State and Baylor, let's say the needle with TV
networks and then and then it makes sense for us

(19:04):
to do so. Now again, if if our new commissioner,
georgeff welcome to college football, buddy um, if he decides
that we want to be proactive as a conference and
go to a super conference because the SEC is doing it,
and maybe the Big ten wants to do in the
a C wants to do it, then sure then yet, yes,
you have to add four teams, but I can make

(19:24):
an argument. Notice that one of the four could be
should could and should be San Diego State, right, Um,
I can make an argument, maybe it's Boise State. Um.
So I know that the PAC twelve and Big twelve
talked for six hours yesterday day before that, which is great, Right,
Bob Bosley should do whatever he can to bolsters conference.
Our new commissioner, George Golkoff should talk to as many

(19:47):
people as he can about what to do here. But
there really doesn't have to be anything done. The Big twelve,
the eight teams left can go get themselves four teams
from the A A C and form a pretty good conference. Right.
You get Memphis, Cincinnati, U c F in Houston, all right,
as good with OLAHOLM in Texas. But but there's no
need for the PAC twelve to rush out and and

(20:09):
have four Big twelve teams join their conference. There's no
need that now. Yeah, and we're gonna have more on
this discussion with Petros Papa Acas, who has been very
vocal about the issues of the PAC twelve coming up
next hour here on Fox Sports Radio. He's you have
shorts on. Jonas Knocks is his OutKick. The coverage here
Fox Sports Radio coming up fifteen minutes from now. It
is the final installment of Jeff Schwartz's Perfect offensive line.

(20:32):
All right, the perfect offensive line. And I believe we're
doing a double shot like the Dan Campbell coffee, a
double shot of espresso. You're gonna do the entire right side, correct,
the right guards because is the easiest one of all.
So that's why it's uh makes it. We'll make it
full very quickly. Yeah, So we will be having that
coming up here fifteen minutes from now. Right now, though,

(20:55):
it is time for something we do on the show,
and it's called this Ladies and gentlemen. I'm just glad.
I was scared, boys and girls. I thought he thought
I was like this gynormous piece of chicken diumtimes I

(21:17):
had my space. This is animal thunder Doll. Oh my god.
It gives me chills every time. I feel like it's
Halloween when I hear that intro. But it is that
Danny g Our executive producer, to tell us just about
the bizarre world of when animals and humans meet All right.

(21:38):
Australian authorities are investigating a shark attack that's believed to
have been provoked by the so called victim of the attack,
Thirty two year old Aaron Mawir, had to be hospitalized
after his failed stunt of jumping onto the back of
a shark. Good for him, this isn't the first time

(22:00):
this clown has tried this. He did this once in
and put it on his Instagram page. More had been
working as the skipper on board a chartered boat. He
made the reckless decision to try this again while paying
passengers watched in horror. This took place around Veronas Island.
While the passengers had, you know, paid to get a
peaceful glimpse of the ocean, More decided to give them

(22:23):
a surprise show. He jumped off the boat and onto
the back of an eleven and a half foot lemon shark.
Seven News reported the stunt. Shark responded by throwing him
off and mauling him. The passengers obviously were terrified. They
were able to get him back on board and perform
first aid on him. He had some bad injuries. The

(22:45):
crew had a long sail ahead of them to get
back to West Australia. Paramedics met the boat at the
shore attended to his injuries. He was finally admitted to
Royal Perth Hospital about ten hours after the initial mauling.
He remains recover ring from the injuries to his back
and leg. His injuries are deemed as significant but not
life threatening. His mother said in a statement that he

(23:08):
was in good spirits. All right, question for the crew,
a little round table here, more balls? E Jumping on
the back of a shark or being a bull rider?
I mean the bull rider. You have people there to
help corral the bull exactly. Yeah, it's like training wheels,

(23:30):
like you don't have that with a freaking shark. It's
it's like the bumpers that when you're bowling, like you know,
like you can go ride a bull, but they put
the bumpers up so you don't have to worry about
throwing gutter balls. This guy is jumping on the back
of a shark. This guy's got balls, man, correct, Good
for him. I might have balls, but isn't that much brains.

(23:52):
He's an idiot, Yeah, he absolutely's an idiot, for sure.
It's like there's been bull riding for how many years?
So you know you have a schematic there, you know
how to do it with jumping on the back of
a shark. Yeah, that's not gonna end good, So let
me so, Roberto, you were at Dodger Stadium for when
the when the Astros the World Series champs from came

(24:17):
to l A. But when I gotta ask you more
ballsy jumping on the back of a shark or being
an Astros fan at Dodger Stadium the other night. Uh,
jumping on the back of a shark? Okay, good, all right,
So you guys are nice to Astros fans. I just
wanted yeah, of course. All right, another shark story. Now,
I texted this picture to everybody on the show, and

(24:39):
I'll tweet this out at Danny G Radio Ocean City, Maryland.
Actually have a program director friend there at a radio station,
and he always brags to me about the beautiful water
and how there's never sharks or anything like that. Well,
family members of a twelve year old Pennsylvania girl are
disagreeing with him in local saying that she suffered in

(25:00):
your He's after a suspected shark attack in Maryland that
left her with forty two stitches and twenty cuts. You
guys are looking at this picture, but locals and local
authorities are saying they're not so sure that this was
a shark attack. Listen to the report on w jay
Z Channel thirteen. Her family saying she was bit by
a shark, what Ocean City officials saying it may have

(25:21):
been something else. Rachel Cardon Large for US now along
the water's edge. After speaking to experts about shark behavior
this time of year, Rachel hey Rick and Denise yeah So,
a local marine biologist here in Baltimore, said getting bit
by a shark is extremely uncommon. Shark attacks almost never happened,
which is why it's often just one bite, a case

(25:42):
of mistaken identity and the shark let's go. But that
one bike can cause some serious damage, like the damage
you're about to see, so we want to warn you.
Some of the images are pretty graphic. This is twelve
year old Jordan Pashinsky's leg after getting out of the
water in Ocean City on Monday. She felt something sharp
brush up against her. The family thinks the wound is
a shark fight. We still don't know what doctor was

(26:07):
a shark fight. Ocean Cities Beach Patrol was on scene
to treat the little girl and say some sort of
encounter with marine life can't be ruled out. But in
butch Arden's forty nine years with the Beach Patrol, he's
never seen anything like this, and they're not confirming it
was a shark. Had from this little girl Will indicates
this absolutely was not an attack. We don't know what

(26:29):
it was. J Bradley, local shark expert and the curator
of the Blue Water Exhibit at the National Aquarium says,
though the ocean is the shark's home and swimmers are
just visitors, it's not unsafe to be in the water
with sharks. They don't want to bite people. Oh yeah,
have you ever seen Jaws? Wait, so, so what if
it's not a shark, what is it? It's a very

(26:51):
good question, and that's why this feels like they're just
taking care of tourism. Yeah, well, yeah, about what now?
You brought up Jaws. That is one of the scenes
early on in Jaws where they're saying, hey, man, keep
this hush, hush. We know, we know a kid got eaten,
but you know, we gotta make sure the tours still
show up because there's a holiday weekend coming out. Yeah, listen,

(27:11):
I call BS. I've seen wounds like this before. This
is backyard wrestling one oh one. There was a barbed
wire match and this is exactly what happened. They're trying
to blame it on a shark. I call BS. I
hope she heals up. I hope that, you know, the
twelve year old gets healthy. I'm calling crap on this,
not buying it for a minute. It's backyard wrestling. Wire.
The reporter said it was graphic in nature, so I

(27:32):
will make sure to tweet that out at it's not
that bavy combined. But I mean, but it's not. It's
not bad. It's it's bad because she's a young, young girls.
The cut is not that bad in general. Well, but
it's not her like rubbing up against a rock in
the water, which is what they're trying to say that
they don't even think it was any sort of attack rock.

(27:54):
It's definitely yeah, a rock, a rock with with claw
to go back to jaws, Jonas, you ready for this?
This was no body accident, all right? And finally call
it The Great Escape Part two A Tallahassee Man's eleven

(28:16):
foot Yellow anaconda escaped from his mom's house, leading to
charges and a search for the snake. Yeah, go figure.
The anaconda, a prohibited non native species called aggressive by
its owner, not a hole through the screened in porch
at his mom's house. This isn't the first time the

(28:37):
snake has gotten out. It also slithered away free. Four
years ago. The owner's mom reported the most recent escape
of her son's anaconda. Yeah, alright, Danny, recording according I'm
just reading the article. According to a port of Bit
and Wildlife Conservation Commission incident report, so the mom rated

(28:58):
him out. The report says that the snake was typically
kept inside an enclosure with a glass sliding door that
was able to lock, but in July, the owner opened
the enclosure and allowed the snake to roam inside the
screened in porch. So what went wrong? He fell asleep,
He forgot to put the snake away, one of the
largest species in the world. Yeah, he didn't put it

(29:21):
back in its cage. When he woke up the next morning,
he remembered, oh, by anaconda, and he discovered that it
had escaped. I've heard of people. I've heard of people
falling asleep with the pizza in the oven, and you know,
problems happening, but you imagine like fall asleep and realizing
your anaconda got out strength j Yeah. Next thing, you know,

(29:43):
like the neighbors are missing their dog and it's like
I don't know, I don't know what to jail. And
now how how how big is this? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
just under twelve feet long? The uh. One of the
favorite things that I've ever heard on this show was
the how many how hot does the girl have to be? Like?

(30:09):
How many snakes does the girl have to be? Walked
into a girl's apartment on say the second or third
day and she had let's say, yeah, seven to ten
snakes in cages? How hot does she have to be?
Jonas to stay there? See, for me, I grew up
with snakes. So my brother had Burmese python straight to jail.

(30:30):
Favorite brother too, you know, I mean, but but that's
like I let him crawl all over me like there
was no I sort of thought there was no there
was no issue. Man, They're they're fine. Yeah, there there
was no there there's not a problem. Like a spider
phone on my shoulder, like two weeks three weeks ago,
we did like a little party at the house with
this guy who brings like pets over and he had
like a seven foot uh python, And I mean it's

(30:53):
just it was okay, I guess, but like it's not
my cup of tea and it could have a pant attack.
But yeah, I mean, but like, so you walk into
the girl's house, she's got ten snakes, Like how hot
does she have to be for you to stay? How long?
For a couple of follow ups, how much have I drank?
And how long has it been, because those are very

(31:14):
very important questions. Have you ever determined that, Danny, I'm
not sure? And are they in enclosures or are they
just slithering around her apartment? I mean, look, what about iguanas.
You guys have problem with iguanas. We had iguanas growing up,
and they would they would crawl around the house like freely,
like there was no it was just whatever, like here
they are. I mean, it's weird, but okay, yeah, I'm

(31:36):
just saying, like that's so so I'm a bad person,
asked because I'm I'm used to reptiles. We had desert
tortoises growing up, snapper turtles. They would get out all
the time, and then the neighbors would call Vic the
turtles in our package. So you would just wake up
in the morning as a child and you'd walk to
the bathroom and there'll just be a freaking iguana just
hanging out on the floor. Yeah, sometimes in the shower,

(31:58):
just walking around the shower like yeah, okay, all right, yeah,
how did he open the door? Right? You ever seen
the movie you ever seen the movie Overboard, the original
one with Kurt Russell and Goldie Han, that house that
they they're in with all the crap, and just like
that was basically our home growing up to where there's
a you know, turtle and just walking around, there's a

(32:19):
stuff all over the place. There's yeah, it's just it
was a wild youth for me. But you know, by
the way, I feel like that breakdown of the story,
there's gonna be a lot of sound drops applied to
Danny g moving forward should be, but he's just reading
off the story. But I'm just I guess I'm just
very stunned about the iguanas. Yeah, my brother that he

(32:44):
worked with reptiles, and so we always like a Komodo dragon.
He brought over a komodo dragon. He knows. Yeah, he
worked with reptiles like he would. He would. Basically what
happened is when animal control when they would when they
would get a when they would get a call, animal
control would get a call that there would be a
reptile or something in somebody's backyard. If they didn't want

(33:06):
to handle it because they weren't comfortable with it, they
would call my brother and he would go, you know,
it would be a snake, uh, lizards, all sorts of
stuff that they just wanted no part of. He would
go be the guy to do it. Do you have
a van that said like reptile guy on the truck
on it? Yeah, you had a truck. Yeah. I start
of gosh, I'm not making this up. Yeah, that was

(33:28):
this thing. That's what That's what he did when we
grew up. Like, so that's why all of that's like
we've seen him feed uh, you know, mice to snakes. Uh.
That's interesting to see as a kid, you sort of
look at things different moving forward. But yeah, that's that's
how this works. That's how that's how I was raised. Man.
I don't know if that explains anything, Eddie, but that's
that's how I was raised. It actually that does. I'm

(33:50):
just saying, man. And by the way, the most the
freakiest one was the Komodo dragon. The Komodo dragon is
is that is a straight up dinosaur. I don't want
to hear anybody say that is a dinosaur. The Komodo
dragon was gnarly seeing that thing in our living room.
There's just a weird one. Jeff Schwartz Jonas knocks It's

(34:11):
kicked the coverage here on Fox Sports Radio. Coming up
next though, Jeff Schwartz is going to hand out to
more awards. He is looking to perfect and create the
ideal offensive line in the NFL. Find out who gets
right guard and right tackle. It's yours next year on
fs ARE, this is outkicked the coverage. Hey, this is

(34:39):
Jason McIntyre. Joined me every weekday morning on my podcast
Straight Fired with Jason McIntyre. This isn't your typical sports
pod pushing the same tired narratives down your throat. Every day.
Straight Fire gives you honest opinions on all the biggest
sports headlines, accurate stats to help you win big at
the sports book, and all the best guests doing yourself.

(35:00):
Favorite and listen to Straight Fired with Jason McIntyre on
the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcast or wherever you
get your podcasts. I'll kick the coverage Fox Sports Radio.
He's Jeff Schwartz, I'm Jonas Knox. This is FS are
coming up top the next hour. Ten minutes from now,
we will get into a quarterback in the NFL who

(35:22):
may be dealing with an injury more serious than these
being led on by the organization. We'll have that for
you here top of next hour on Fox Sports Radio.
But right now, it is time for Jeff Schwartz to
complete his perfect offensive line. We've been doing this throughout
the course of the show. We have a studio band
with us here. They're wearing masks socially distance and everything.

(35:45):
So let's fire it up here, and it's time for
Jeff Schwartz to now move over to the right side
of things, right guard and right tackle, and we will
give out the final offensive line at the end of this.
So Jeff, take it away. Yeah, I got a couple
of minutes to make this happen. Right guard is very
simply as Zach martin Cowboys. UM, he's the best La

(36:08):
Stark's the best office line in the NFL. UM he
was hurt a little bit last year. He's back healthy
this year. The thing about Zach Martin, and it's it's
the most impressive thing to me, is that he can
do everything really well, but there is no weakness in
his game. He is fabulous in space. He's he's the
best guard in space in the NFL. In past. Protection

(36:29):
doesn't matter. If you're strong, if you're quick, zax Sna
handled you. I mean his battlicans Fletcher Cox Now for
years the Eagles have been legendary. He is he's the
best I know. People look could quit Nelson and he's
on my list as with the left guard and say,
hey man, look at else highlight players he has. Just
go watch Zach Martin play. People get really upset. We're
talking about go Watz play. He's a He's a surefire

(36:51):
Hall of Famer. He's fabulous, and he's back healthy this year.
Why Teller had a great year for the Browns last
ye because there's a little bit of consideration here. He
had a great season last year. He's up and come
at right guard. Um, He's he's fabulous. He just it's
hard to sup place. Zach Barty now right tackle is
um a little a little more interesting. Tristan Worth's the
Bucks last year as a rookie, had a great season.

(37:13):
He I think deserve some All Pro votes. H Lane
Johnson for the Eagles has been there for years, been
fabulous for years. My brother, who is not on a
roster right now, it's hard to put him on a
list and he's not on a roster, but you know,
he was a four time All Pro in Kansas City.
Um before was five years there. But I think Ryan

(37:33):
ram Check out the Saints skiff and not at least
for right now, just got paid a lot of money,
but he did, and um, he was second team All
Pro last year. I don't quite get the fascination with
Jack Conklin was first team All Pro. I've never really
gotten that. Um. I've never watched this film and he
says he's a two time All Pro. I just have
not seen that in this film. Um. But to me,

(37:55):
Ryan ram Check is the best right tackle right now.
But Tristan worst man in Tampa. I have him run
for his money. So how close is that race between
Worfs and ram Check? Um? I guess a little bit
more from Worth's obviously, you know one year was good
but let's say, how you doing year two off the
Super Bowl? Worfs is just so supremium athletic. He is.

(38:15):
He's just a freak of nature. So I'm curious to
see a year too. Um, you know how he comes
off that Super Bowl win. And so let's go ahead
and for for anybody that's missed it thus far. And
we will have this up on Twitter later, which I'm
sure we'll cause some outrage in the offensive line community.
That's how Twitter works. But starting from the left side
over to the right, Jeff Schwartz is perfect offensive line

(38:38):
as we head into the season, is who Yeah, so
David Baker left tackle. I went with Quentin Nelson at
left guard, Jason Kelsey at center, which again Kelsey, there's
it's okay. If a couple of guys are in there,
zachmarn at right guard and Ryan ram Check at right tackle,
I feel pretty comfortable with that unit. And are they

(38:59):
all those kinds Hall of famers? Um? Ram Check is
the Maybe the guy right tackles don't really make the
Hall of Fame either. That's that's too bad. I mean,
it's just the way it is. It's kind of should
be the Hall of Fame. But he's not. Willie Anderson

(39:21):
is on the Hall of Fame. Are you sure? Why
don't I want to say that Willie Anderson got in
recently in the Hall of Fame. We can talk to
all the time. We talked about this with him. Yeah,
he had a great career. Man, all right, it is
I'll kicked the coverage here Fox Sports Radio Jonas Knox
and Jeff Schwartz. Any concern with a quarterback's injury, we'll

(39:42):
get into that. FS are
