Colorectal cancer is preventable and highly treatable when detected early. In fact, localized colorectal cancer (the earliest stage) has a 91% survival rate with treatment. But that survival rate depends on people getting screened regularly. That's why, during National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, the Colorectal Cancer Alliance is encouraging people of all ages to get informed about the importance of screening.
