Another town joins the growing list of municipalities fighting against adopting the MBTA Communities Act which imposes housing mandates on 177 cities and towns in MA. The town of Shrewsbury is the latest to fight back against the mandate that requires the zoning of multifamily housing in at least one district of “reasonable size” in each community adjacent to public transit. In this hour, we heard from Shrewsbury residents.
