Restaurant servers in Massachusetts are pushing for a ballot measure that would require restaurants to pay their tipped workers the state’s minimum hourly wage of $15, before gratuities. Currently, many restaurants pay their servers less than half of the minimum hourly wage and use tips to make up the difference. Should servers receive the state’s minimum wage before gratuities?
