Radio, and in particular AM radio, is a critical part of America’s emergency communication infrastructure. It’s a resource we use to inform the public about states of emergency and other vital information. The AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act was introduced to combat the automobile industry and their efforts to rid newly manufactured vehicles of having AM radio accessibility.
