Mea Motu: world champion boxer on her son Davey being named Junior Māori Sportsman of the Year at the 2023 Māori Sports Awards - Weekend Sport with Jason Pine

The teenage son of Kiwi champion boxer Mea Motu has taken a unique path to sporting success.

Davey Motu was recently named Junior Māori Sportsman of the Year at the 2023 Māori Sports Awards- for his prowess in lawn bowling. 

Mea Motu joined Elliott Smith to discuss her son's victory.
