Mike Hosking: ZB host on his exclusive view of King Charles III's coronation - The Sunday Session with Francesca Rudkin

A new monarch has taken the crown.

For the first time in 70 years, a Coronation of a new British monarch took place in Westminster Abbey last night.

The two hour ceremony for King Charles III and Queen Camilla had more than 2,000 attendees.

And Newstalk ZB's Mike Hosking was inside, rubbing shoulders with royalty.

He was one of just 27 members of the global media invited in and the only representative from New Zealand.

He says he was seated at the front left with fellow media, but those at home likely still had a better view due to the building dynamics of the church.
