Crazy, birsay in Naptown, Lily, good morning. Tell us about
this crazy first stage you've been on. We want to
hear this story.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So I was near to the area, you know, wanted
to meet some people. So I went on an online
dating site.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
I chatted with this man. He was a retired attorney.
He was really funny and nice and smart, and so
we decided to meet. He gave me an address to
meet him in Baltimore. He lived over by Johns Hopkins.
I get there and it's not like a real address,
it's just an intersection. So I sent him a text message.
I'm like, hey, I'm here, but there's nothing here, and

he says, oh, just a minute, just a minute. And
I see this guy come running down the sidewalk like
in front of all of these old brown stones, and
he's like, it's me, and so he convinces me to
come to his house. So I follow him his house.
We walk inside. There's no furniture in the house and
cages and cages of birds, like little parakeets, and they're

just tweeting away and they cageus haven't been cleaned.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
We go out, we have the date, We got lunch.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
We go to the museum, we come back, and the
whole time I'm thinking, oh, good lord.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
How am I getting out of this?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
At the end, you know, I say goodbye, say thank you,
go about my merry business. How do you just moved
into this place and was trying to furnish it? Well,
he had told me that he'd lived in this brownstone
for like forty years.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
That's very odd. Did you ever find out what all
the birds were for?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
You know?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
I was kind of afraid to ask, like what do
you say, Like, hey man, what's with all the birds?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yes, you kind of do, yes, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Clearly you're not interested. Did he try to contact you
after that first date? Well, he texted me a few
times and I did not respond.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Finally he sent like the final text, and it said,
I guess you didn't have as good a time as I.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Did, Lily.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Did you move on with somebody who had more than
just birds going on?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I did end up with a guy that I had
known some time ago.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
You know, we just rekindled. So a fully furnished apartment
or home, right fully furnished, nice, really cool.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
And hopefully fewer birds were Toby and Chilly in the
Morning eight six, six nine two seven forty three sixty one.
