A groundbreaking study published in Pediatric Rheumatology has found that children and
adolescents who received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine face a much higher risk
of developing autoimmune diseases compared to unvaccinated children. The
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recently announced plans to stop
recommending administration of Covid vaccines to children and pregnant women, a
decision lead by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Was.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Recently interviewed on ABC News and had some pretty interesting
questions posed to him and he answered those. And what
I thought we would do a little bit later in
this hour is play the excerpts from that audio tape
and then doctor Adam Brockman and I will comment on those,

(03:53):
all right, And that's what we're gonna do. Doctor Brockman
welcome and thank you sir for coming into the program
with us today.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Hello doctor Bob, and hello listeners. I think it's a
great day to talk about our health.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
It is, It really is, because man, I am so
much more optimistic these days, doctor Brockman. As it relates
to the sick care system getting turned around in this country,
we have been on as it relates to a healthcare
system on our deathbed for decades. For according to doctor

(04:29):
Martin Mcarrey, the head of the FDA, the Food and
Drug Administration, and his colleagues, saying, for fifty years, fifty years,
the medical system of this country has driven the health
of America into the ground, almost bankrupting us as a nation.
In fact, we are bankrupt as a nation as it
relates to health. Every other industrialized country has outperformed us

(04:54):
in terms of health and longevity. Yet we spend the
month out of any nation on the planet. Something wrong
with this scenario, something wrong with that equation. You'd think,
doctor Brockman, that a nation that spends the most on
sick care and healthcare would be ranking number one, But

(05:15):
yet we're at the bottom of the barrel every single
year and have been for decades. So, I mean, it's
a perfect scenario. If you benefit by the narrative of
running the sick care system, why would you want people
well because if they get well, you're put out of business.
So let's just keep the status quo going with all

(05:38):
these sick people. They're going to end up on our
doorstep needing some type of chronic management for whatever symptomatology
they have. Let alone, we don't have any cures for them,
but we'll just treat them with symptomatic changes. And obviously
we have a healthcare system that's wonderful in the area
of trauma and emergency meta us and innovations like gene editing,

(06:02):
all that kind of stuff. I mean, yes, and dedicated
men and women in the medical profession. They enter that
system hoping to help see people get well. Unfortunately, the
training that a medical doctor goes through is so extremely
limited as it relates to keeping people well, preventing illness,

(06:22):
being proactive, being preventive, and giving them options aside from
just pharmaceutical drugs and slicing, cutting and dicing.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
What say you, doctor Rock, I think you're right on
that the sick care system is essentially what they have
been trained to do, and they do, and they do
it very well. But I think also in there becomes
that pharmaceutical twist, and that is, hey, here's here's the money,
follow me, follow me. And so the so big pharma

(06:55):
has almost put our health as Americans into a coma
type state. And we've just been sitting there with a
slight pulse, just drugging a law and just going just
a little bit at a time until until the next drug,
the next thing comes out. And I think that's where
the issue lies. And now I see it as big
Pharma is their backs are against the wall and we're

(07:16):
making some changes and that is going to be a
great thing for most of us. And yeah, last time
I checked, if you're thinking about movement as medicine, movement
is pretty affordable. You just got to get out there
and do it. So I think if we're focusing more
on that, and yes, yeah, it is a big economic
component to this. I mean obviously pharmaceuticals and the sick

(07:40):
care system that the hospitals and everything. If if they're
if the beds aren't full, then the that cast register
isn't going. So I want to challenge everybody to go
ahead and get out there and move, move for your health,
eat a little bit better. Those those are the things
that need to happen. And that's what and that's what
I think this administration is, folks, And I think it's

(08:01):
a breath of fresh air for most of us.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
You know, the whole thing turned on its head back
in the early nineteen hundreds when Rockefeller changed the system,
changed the system for the worse so that he could
benefit financially through the petrochemical industry by finding a way
to put out a business all the competitors of the

(08:24):
petrochemical conventional medicine, pharmaceutical industry, and in doing so, the
way that he went about it was really crafty, and
that was that he helped to initiate via the big
coffers of money that he had availble to himself and
through legislation, he basically created a monopoly for conventional medicine

(08:47):
and pharmaceutical drugs. How did he do that? Well, you ask,
if you study medicine, you go back and you look
at it. It's quite fascinating. And that is that he
figured out a way to make sure that competing healthcare
systems such as nature pathic medicine, homeopathic medicine the eclectic

(09:08):
doctors of that era. In the early nineteen hundreds, the chiropractice.
He figured out a way to legislate and have certain
laws that helped to try to eliminate and he was
successful at doing so with respect to the homeopathy and
three or four other healing arts. Luckily, the chiropractic profession survived.

(09:32):
The nature pathic profession barely survived, and it's on an uptake,
thank goodness for that. But the reason they survived is
because of the efficacy and the degree to which they
help people. You can't completely eradicate a system in healthcare
that is highly successful on so many levels that does

(09:55):
not fit the paradigm of conventional medicine, inasmuch as the
pharmaceutical industry and conventional medicine tried to put out a
business these various healthcare systems by legislating against their licensure
so that they couldn't get licenses. In fact, some of
the doctors in the early ages of the nineteen hundreds,

(10:17):
they were put in jail for practicing natural health care,
which is I mean, think about that for a moment,
telling somebody how to eat and how to live, and
how to take certain herbs and how to run their
healthcare going to jail for doing that. Well, that's what happened, folks.

(10:39):
Luckily for us, these various healthcare systems have survived all
of that assault and they're growing today. And with the
MAHA movement and the Trump administration, it's all going to
get better from here on out. Let's hope. All right,
stay tuned, we're coming back. You are tuned into the
Doctor Bob Martin's Show.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
Who.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Got to Help Me? Welcome or welcome back to this
hour of the Doctor Bob marts and Show with me
as my co host and executive producer, doctor Adam Brockman,
and we are going to collectively answer your call in
questions and also listen to health comments and also answer

(11:38):
any emails that have come into the website over at
doctor Bob dot com. But you can also call our
toll free number anytime of the night or day and
you'll be asked to state your first name only for privacy.
First name only. Turn your radio down before you make
the call so it's not blaring in the background. After
you state your first name, just your city and state

(12:00):
eight city in state you're calling from, then your question.
Make it as succinc and as condensed as you can,
making it fair for everybody else trying to get into
the show, to get on the air to have their
question answered. We appreciate that that number one eight hundred
six zero six eight eight two to two one eight
hundred six zero six eighty eight twenty two. Now that

(12:25):
last segment might seem a little harsh to the first
time listener of The Doctor Bob Martin Show, but it
really is not, and it's not designed to bash conventional medicine.
Conventional medicine has a lot to offer. They save lives
every day, but they can also take lives. I mean,
after all, if you look at the stats, I mean,

(12:47):
come on, you know we know we hear, or at
least we are. It's reported that what heart disease is
number one as the killer of man, and it goes
to number on two, which is cancer, and then we're
told it's number three. It could be strokes or something,
but it's really not that way. The number one killer

(13:09):
of man is medical miscare. It is look up the
stat it's medical miscare, meaning errors in doctor's offices and hospitals,
errors and mishaps associated with pharmaceutical drugs. Errors associated with surgery.
I mean, it's risky business. When you walk into a hospital. Wow,

(13:33):
there's a risk risk there. In fact, I was reading
something the other day, doctor Brockman, about how dangerous it
is and comparing and contrasting the dangers of owning a
gun as opposed to seeing a conventional medical doctor. And
I read a stat that said that it's forty percent

(13:55):
more likely to die from some form of medical care
than you are to die from a gun shot wound,
which I mean, that's a lot. It's pretty pretty sad.
And I'm not here advocating guns or anything. I don't
want anybody get opinions of that. It's just it's a
startling stat. It's kind of strange. Anyway, we digress, all right.
I wanted to start this segment by talking about children

(14:20):
and COVID vaccines are still pushing this experimental gene therapy
COVID nineteen shots. They call them vaccines. They're really not
on children. As part of the schedule to include is
part of their vaccine schedules, which they get about seventy
six vaccines separate vaccines. By the time they're I think
eighteen seventy six or eighty something. It just keeps rising

(14:41):
for no good reason. And yet kids continue to get
sicker all the time, with more autism, more ADHD, more asthma,
were more childhood chronic diseases. Why is the question? Why?
If they were all what they were cut out to be,
what we're told, and that is vaccines keep chilling children
save I would assume that the more you get, the

(15:03):
healthier they would get. It's just the opposite of that. Well,
here we go a groundbreaking study published in the Pediatric Rheumatology.
You can't get any more conventional than that. Pediatric Rhumatology
has found that children had adolescents who received at least
one dose of COVID nineteen vaccine faced a twenty three
percent higher risk of developing autoimmune diseases compared to unvaccinated children.

(15:30):
Now I want to repeat that, doctor Brockman, because you
know why people are completely brainwashed when it comes to vaccines.
They've been brainwashed for that last fifty years. There's value
in vaccines, there's no question about it. It's just we
need to look at the safety component, which has not
been thoroughly vetted. It hasn't Oh yeah, people say, oh no,

(15:50):
there's been twenties studies on that there's no link. No,
those twenty studies were developed by those people who are
going to benefit the most by it, meaning the companies
that will make the vaccine. So they did all the
fuzzy mass math, they did all the under the table
statistical changes that would suit their narrative, and that is
that every person needs to roll up their sleeve and

(16:11):
get vaccines endlessly. Here it is again one more time
for people who miss that, who have been grounded in
brainwashing about vaccines. This is right out of the most
orthodox conventional medicine a journal you can find. A groundbreaking
study published in Pediatric Rheumatology has found that children and

(16:36):
adolescents who received at least one dose of COVID nineteen
vaccine face a twenty three percent higher risk of developing
a dangerous and sometimes life threatening autoimmune disease compared to
children who are unvaccinated. This almost sounds doctor Brockman like

(17:00):
the latest information out about flu shots. If you got
a flu shot this season, you were almost twenty seven
percent more likely to get the flu than if you
didn't get the flu shot. Now, how much different could
that messaging be that we see on television all day long,
and those signs that we get pummeled with when you

(17:20):
roll up to any pharmacy or any grocery store anywhere
they get flu shots, hammering on the elderly to say
to them, look, if you don't get a flu shot,
you're gonna die. And yet we find that flu shots
increase your risk of getting influenza the flu by a
whopping twenty seven percent. So let me ask, what do

(17:42):
you think about this groundbreaking pediatric rheumatology study where children
and adolescents who got the COVID shots, the COVID nineteen shots,
the experimental shots, the highly ill advised shots, face a
twenty three percent higher of developing these autoimmune diseases, whereas

(18:02):
the unvaccinated children do not have any of that risk.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
Doctor Brockman, the relationship between the COVID nineteen vaccines or
wells as the administration now with a RFK junior is saying,
they're not vaccines at all, they're gene therapy. But that
relationship between those the COVID nineteen shots and autoimmune disease,
I think it's complex and it's evolving, needing more research,

(18:30):
especially in this area of pediatrics. You know, if you
break that down, and we're just saying that these COVID
nineteen shots, they stimulate the immune system to recognize and
fight this virus. But the immune activation, I think it
leads to exaggerated immune response here, especially with these m

(18:51):
r NA ones, and there's that autoimmunity trigger here, like say,
for instance, in some individuals, this heightened immune response may
inadvertently trigger autoimmune reactions where the immune system mistakenly attacks
the body's own tissues.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Here, doctor Bob, well, that's it. I mean, think of
the moment, Think of what's going on in the mind
of that young parent who's saying to themselves, we need
to make sure our children are protected here. We need
to get every vaccine that the pediatrician wants to do.
And now that the COVID shots have been included in
the schedules for these children, we need to get our

(19:29):
children completely up to speed on COVID nineteen vaccines as well.
And then you see a piece of literature that comes
out like this telling the real story, and that is
that if your child receives a COVID shot, just a
single COVID shot, their risk of developing a life changing,

(19:55):
life threatening perhaps autoimmune disease, and there are over one
hundred of them, folks, from rumatoid arthritis to lupus, you
name it. It's the body attacking itself because why because
it's under assault. It's under assault because these COVID nineteen
shots caused that. And yet we were told and promised

(20:19):
that they did just the opposite, that they prevent disease,
and if you don't get it, you're gonna be in
big trouble. And they not only prevent disease and keep
it from spreading, both of which are complete lies and fraud.
And it was foistered upon our nation. And we're trying
to underwind that right now. Thank goodness for the MAHA
movement out there helping for us to better understand it

(20:41):
and rein in the truth. It may actually happened, doctor Brockman,
in our lifetime, and that would be a good thing.
All right. Now, we're gonna come back with some very
interesting audio clips, and I think you're gonna stick around
for that. Doctor mcarrey will join us.

Speaker 6 (21:00):
Are you waiting on a line next, Jake? Are you
waiting for the perfect night? How are you waiting to
the time is night? Wye don't you want to learn
to deal it? You don't you want to take.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
The wheels steam?

Speaker 6 (21:19):
Don't you beat another man?

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Wait?

Speaker 7 (21:23):
Wait for.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
What are you wain for? All right, we are back
with you. Doctor Adam Brockman and myself, thank you so
very much for tuning into the Doctor Bob Martins Show today.
Appreciate that. And if you like what you hear and
believe other people could benefit by listening into the show,

(21:46):
here's how you refer them to the program. We so
appreciate that. By the way, we are, after all, the
largest radio health talk show in America bar none, and
that's a large part thanks to you. So here's how
you can refer your friends, your loved ones, your coworkers,
your neighbors, anybody that's in your social media network to
the show so they too can become enlightened and come

(22:07):
out of the dark and into the light, because light
cures a lot of stuff, even brainwashing. Simply listen to
your radio, especially during the break, and you'll hear the
radio station you're listening to give their station IDs, which
tells you what their call letters are. Jot those call
letters down the station you're listening to right now, look

(22:30):
at the frequency on the radio dial, is it an
FM station and the time of the day, and just
pass that on to as many people as you can
and they will thank you for it big time because
you're going to be a part of their journey back
to health and wellness and you may help prevent them
from getting sick, and if they do get sick, maybe

(22:51):
we can untangle that without having to resort to risky
things like pharmaceutical drugs and other medical procedures. Now, I
want to just before we go on, I just want
to clarify that last segment. We are not here to
suggest or not suggest anyone take any form or not

(23:13):
take any form of vaccine. That is a personal choice
you'll have to make on behalf of yourself or in
console with a informed healthcare provider. We're here to deliver
hard hitting health related news and really try to pull
back the skin of the onion to give you the
deep understanding of where we're coming from on this program

(23:36):
and have been for the last let's say thirty years
going on thirty years on the air. We're here to
provide information you may not be able to find anywhere else,
or perspective you may not find anywhere else. Not Bragan,
just saying, not complaining, just telling you that this is
where we're coming from. And if you choose to have

(23:56):
a vaccine for any reason, COVID or otherwise, that's your choice.
We support that. That's your choice, your body, your health right,
your decision. But if you choose not to, you should
go forward with vetting it, doing due diligence. Most people
spend more time investigating what kind of an automobile they
are going to get or the refrigerator they're going to buy,

(24:18):
than they do with investigating what somebody is going to
do to them or give them or recommend to them medically,
which could have an influence on their entire health going forward,
which is everything. Those other things can be replaced, your
health can't if you go down. All right, we'll get
to these audio cuts of doctor Marty McCarey, the guy

(24:40):
that's running the FDA. Now, Wow, I am so happy
to know he's running the Food and Drug Administration. This
guy's so far ahead of his time. He's a Johns
Hopkins graduate, mdphd, Professor of medicine. I mean, this guy's
credentials are unassailable, and yet he's saying, hey, we're broken.

(25:00):
We have a broken system here and we need to
fix it. We'll have some of the excerpts from an
interview that he conducted on ABC News in just a
little bit refers this. I have been encouraging my listenership
on this radio show for twenty plus years to focus
on your oral cavity. Focus on your oral cavity like

(25:21):
you've never focused before, if you're not doing so already.
And the reason for that is that the oral cavity
is the gateway to generating excessive inflammation in your mouth
that can lead to other health problems in your body.
For example, we know that if there's excessive inflammation in

(25:43):
your gums, your teeth, your mouth, it can increase your
risk of dementia. It can increase your risk of Alzheimer's disease.
We know that if there's excessive inflammation in the mouth,
too much germ getting into the bloodstream and passing on
to other parts of the body, it can increase your
risk of a heart attack. It can I've seen it
with my own eyes in my own practice, So knowing

(26:04):
that the data is there to support it, knowing how important,
and knowing the physiological connection between the oral cavity, your
pie hole and infections and inflammation. I am a massive
stickler when it comes to the mouth and keeping it clean.
I don't want to end up like my parents and
their parents with full dentures. And I hope you're on

(26:25):
the same wavelength that I am. And to that end,
tooth de kay and gingivitis and perodontal disease and even
bad breath will be a thing of the past if
you're doing what doctor Bob and his family, and doctor
Brockman and his family, and all the other colleagues that
we know that are dialed into the truth and the
science behind the spry spry toothpaste and spry mouth rints

(26:49):
and gum and mints too. Dental providers, they and the
dental profession in general, they've done an enviable job of
telling us, look, take care of your teeth, brush floss,
see the hygienist in an area, to try to prevent
these problems from happening in the first place. I give
them that, but I wish more dentists would suggest xilid's

(27:11):
hall exposure two or three or four times a day,
and in doing so they even reduce more dental carries
tooth decay, ginge of vitis, peridental disease, and even bad breath.
And they can do that with the Spray Dental Defense
System Spry Dental Defense System, which accommodates to using toothpaste,

(27:34):
mouth rints, gum and mints. And if you just expose
yourself to those things, you're gonna find an unbelievable oral
health cavity. They come in different flavors peppermint, cinnamon, and
spearment and you will get the biggest bang for your
buck and your dental providers will be impressed. You can
find the dental defense system, the Spry Spry Dental Defense
System at CBS rit eight pharmacies, Target vitamin shops, Sprouts,

(27:57):
all natural grocers carries them and for more information go
to their website. Clear dot com. That's X as an
X ray. The X actually stands for xylotol, one of
the important components. It's a plant based ingredient. It's the
magic sauce in it. Clear x l e Ar or
Finer health food stores nationwide, and make sure you check

(28:20):
out the Clear nasal spray family, the one that I
use no matter where I go, wherever I travel. All
right now let's set this up. We're gonna hear now
x serbs from an interview that was conducted on ABC
News between a reporter by the name of Alex I
didn't catch his last name and doctor Marty McCarry. Doctor

(28:41):
Marty McCarey is a medical doctor, PhD, trained and worked
at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. He is a professor of medicine.
I mean the guy's degrees. He's an author, he's got
so many degrees and he's published things. Just one of
these brilliant medical providers who gets the big picture, who

(29:07):
is not phased by the brainwashing that occurs in medical school,
meaning that what you are taught in medical school is
how you practice. Don't even think about going out of
the box, because if you do, there's always the medical
board that will rain you in because you're not staying

(29:27):
within the bounds of medical practice and standard of practice.
And by virtue of threat, many doctors will just stay
right inside that box, figuring they don't want to toss
eight to twelve years of training away, so they just
continue prescribing drugs and doing what they do were taught,
which is very limited. We'll hear his perspective on how

(29:52):
the healthcare system has to change. After this break, stay
with us. It's the Doctor Bob Martin Show.

Speaker 4 (30:03):
I'm a Bush number Simon Percible, the one never singles A.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
All right, you're tuned into the Doctor Bob marts The
Show with me as Doctor Adam Brockman, host and executive
producer of the show. And doctor Brockman and I are
wanted to now shift over to some commentary after you
hear some audio clips, some audio tape of an interview
that was conducted on ABC News between uh, the reporter

(30:55):
at the time by the name of Alex didn't get
his last name, and doctor Marty McCarry, doctor Marty McCarey,
a Johns Hopkins medical doctor, PhD. He is now the
head of the Food and Drug Administration, the FDA, making
all the decisions, calling all the shots. This guy is

(31:15):
brilliant and I've heard him on Fox News for years,
and I thought, man, oh man, this guy is really
really sharp, and he is of the same mindset I think,
very close to what doctor Brockman and I are thinking.
Of course, so what I thought we'd do is go
ahead and play these audio clips, and then doctor Brockman
and I will comment on those once they're at the end,

(31:37):
and then we'll go to the next one. All right,
let's go with clip number one. Go good to see you, Alex.

Speaker 8 (31:41):
We've got a chronic disease epidemic and children that does
not exist in other countries. If you look at the statistics,
they are pretty bad. And so we've got to look
at everything. There can be no sacred cows. You can't say, well,
you can't look at this one ingredient or chemical that
is introduced in the food supply of children in the
United States that does not exist in the food supply

(32:02):
of other countries with lower rates of these chronic diseases.
We've got to take an objective, scientific approach. And that's
why I'm so excited about this report. It talks about microplastics,
since circadian rhythms and light and mood and sleep and
devices and addiction to these devices and pesticides and the
fact that seventy percent of the food that kids eat

(32:24):
today is ultra processed. We never once talked about this
as any of this stuff in medical school, and this
report brings it to the forefront of our health conversation
and really the agenda that we plan to lay out
based on this report. This report is a diagnosis.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
All right, very profound statement there right out of the gate.
Doctor Marty McCarey, MDPHD, trains at Johns Hopkins, now the
head of the FDA Food and dru Administration, talking about
you know, we always hear this bogus statement coming out
of the mouth of so uninformed talk show hosts, talking
heads on the news. We have the best health care

(33:03):
system in the world. Yeah, the best. We're the best.
We're number one, wonder number one at what how about
numbers zero at everything in the with relationship to healthcare.
I mean this goes right into the theme of this
radio show, be your own best doctor, because your doctor
can't be everything to you. Yes, your doctor can help

(33:26):
you in a crisis scenario and save your life should
you have maybe a heart attack or maybe a fractured bone,
or you have a cut or a wound or triage,
you need something, maybe bad case of an infection, bacterial infection,
acute abdomen, you name it. That's all good, but when
it comes to keeping you healthy, find a chiropractor, find

(33:46):
a nature path, find a helmea path, find a functional
medicine trained MD or do or call your travel agent
and travel to another country, because you'll be cared for better,
more efficiently, and be less likely to die from adverseise
effects because they'll find conservative ways in non life threatening
conditions to help you. Doctor Brockman, what did you think

(34:07):
about that first audio clip of doctor Marty McCarey, the
guy that's running the FDA now his attitude.

Speaker 5 (34:13):
Well, I'm excited to hear this. This is exactly what
we've been talking about for years, especially you on the
show and me joining the show. This is what we
talked about in the last month. If you talk about
the ultra processed foods, the pesticides, everything else that he's
mentioning their microplastics. That's what we've discussed this in the
last month alone. And this is an ongoing discussion that

(34:33):
we've had had for years, especially between you and I.
And I'm excited to hear this.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
Yeah, did you hear it? He's forty percent of children
have chronic illnesses. Ladies and gentlemen, how do we have
the best healthcare system in the world according to the
people who will try to trick you into believing that,
So you continue to doing exactly what you're doing. And
that is taking more drugs, and many of them unnecessarily,

(35:03):
and not knowing that you have the power, the power
to be your own best doctor most of the time,
just gather the information and put it into action. The
stuff that we talk about here on this show. And
doctor McCarey points out something. He says, we were never
taught any of this stuff in medical school. People shouldn't
just have a medical doctor as their health care provider

(35:26):
because according to doctor McCarey, mdphd, Head of the FDA,
they were never taught any of this stuff. In terms
of preventive health care, making sure that you try to
stay away from bad foods that are full of microplastics
and pesticides, and educating people about how to eat and

(35:49):
the important things of preventive healthcare, and taking care of
the structure of their body. Because good structure means good
function in the human body. That's why chiropractice doctors exist
in this world to keep the nervous system maintained, because
if it's out of balance, if there are structural problems
in the neck or spine, the nerve supply can't get

(36:11):
through and it lowers the resistance of the body and
it is more likely to get ill. But do doctors
mention anything related to that. No. Zero. In fact, they
go just the opposite direction, and that is to extend
and say to their patients, Hey, there's no other system
of healing besides conventional medicine. The rest of these guys

(36:34):
that are out there, the nature passed, the homeopathic doctors,
the chiropractic physicians. Oh it's all quackery. Ah that nutrition
and dietary stuff and lifestyle medicine. Oh no, just it's
poppy cock. Don't listen to any of it. We're doing
a great job. Stay right here under our tent. You'll
be just fine. Not so much. I'm doctor Bob Martin.

Speaker 7 (36:57):
And he said, someday give the chambers to live like
you account, Doctor Polo was a gift and you got eternity.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
All right. Little Tim McCraw rejoined there. Thank you for that.
Co pilot of the radio show, Phil doing a fantastic job.
As always, welcome for Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen to
the Doctor Bob Martin Show. I have neglected to give
out the toll free number for anyone wishing to call
into the program to have their health question answered. On
the air. You're gonna hear a tape asking you to

(37:34):
give your first name, the city and state you're living in,
and then your question or health related comment. It's the
Doctor Bob Martin Show Caller Hotline number eight hundred six
zero six eighty eight two to two eight hundred six
zero six eighty eight twenty two. Now we have been
discussing and commenting on excerpts of an interview that went
on on ABC News between Alex the host of the show,

(37:58):
and doctor Marty McCarey, who runs the Food and Drug
Administration the FDA. Today, we're going to play the next
segment and see if we can get some comment before
the end of the show, and then we'll start back
up on this in the next hour. Stay tuned. All right,
next segment, here we go.

Speaker 8 (38:13):
This was a report put together by scientists and experts
in the field, and it is unfiltered. You know, this
is exactly what we think needs better study. Now, a
lot of the reports shows suggestions of what we might
need to look at. When you have things that are
different in the United States than other countries, those are

(38:33):
things we have to look at. So the NIH will
be prioritizing funding to look at many of these root causes.
You know, as a surgeon for over twenty years at
Johns Hopkins, we only talked about operating and chemotherapy and prescribing.
But it turns out we've got to look at the
root causes because when it comes to the sophisticated stuff

(38:55):
like gene therapy, American medicine has been a huge success.
So when it comes to the health of the population,
it's been a fifty year failure. And I personally do
not believe that kids have these high rates of chronic
diseases because they have a willpower problem. I reject that notion.
These are It is something in the environment, and it's

(39:16):
something to do with the food and the addictive nature
of the ultra processed foods and the chemicals in them
that must be associated in some ways. So this will
inform future research.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Well, that sounded almost identical to the last time we
heard doctor Marty McCarey's voice. Doctor Brockmann, how do you say,
how do you how do you really argue with any
of that?

Speaker 5 (39:38):
Well, talking about the chronic nature of these diseases and children,
that's exactly right. It's not not the kids. Their willpower
such I mean, that's a that's a crazy notion. It is.
It's absolutely got to do with the addictive nature of
those ultra processed foods, the additives that are in food
that keep them coming back for more. So if we
change some of that, then I think the kids should

(39:59):
have by fighting chance at healthier into healthier lives in
decreasing these chronic illnesses at an early age.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
I love when I hear the FDA Commissioner, the head
of the Food and dru administration, talking about cause and effect,
about how you know we're going to go and look
at and investigate the cause of problems rather than just
treat the effects symptomatically putting band aids on health conditions

(40:29):
and never curing them, kicking the can down the road. Unbelievable,
the change in the attitude there. I love it all right,
don't go anywhere you're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
