The tone free number to ask Doctor Martin a health
question or to make a health related comment is eight
hundred six oh six eighty eight twenty two. Eight hundred
six oh six eighty eight twenty two. That's eight hundred
six zero six eighty eight twenty two. It's the Doctor
Bob Martin Show.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Good Day, Good day, and welcome. Welcome to The Doctor
Bob Martin Show. I'm doctor Adam Brockman, your natural health advocate,
your co host, and your guide for turning small choices
into big victories. And if vitality has felt optional lately,
consider this your friendly nudge to make it non negotiable.
(01:21):
We're here to translate science into simple steps you can
use today and to remind you that your body is
designed to heal when you give it the right inputs.
And folks, I want to start with a health tip
of the day, and it's a three minute reset. I
want you to do it once every hour. Stand up
and just do ninety seconds of gentle movement. Maybe it's
(01:43):
marching in place or doing some caf raises or some
desk squads, and maybe follow it up with ninety seconds
of slow nasal breathing. And that's it. It's a brief
routine that improves circulation, it lowers stress hormones, it sharpens
your focus, and it helps manage your blood sugar. If
you stack it with a glass of water and you've
(02:04):
got a tiny habit with oversized benefits, you might ask
why this matters, because consistency beats intensity. Most people overestimate
what they can do in a week, and they underestimate
what they can accomplish in a year's Start with this reset,
and then you build. You add a fifth sized serving
a protein to meals, or you cover half your plate
(02:27):
with colorful vegetables or produce, and you finish dinner two
to three hours before bedtime. It's simple, it's repeatable, it's powerful,
and yes, healthy can be delicious. All right, folks, Well,
today's show is packed. I want you to bring your questions,
your curiosity, and your willingness to try something new, and
(02:48):
I want you to join in the conversation. Call us
at eight hundred and six zero six eight eighty two
to two. And if you prefer to browse our resources
and submit a question online, that's available at doctor Bob
eight hundred six or six eight eight two to two,
or go over to doctor Bob dot com. That'spun out
the word doctor doc tor bob dot com. And well, folks,
(03:10):
here's a mindset reframe I want to share that we
use with elite athletes and busy parents alike, and that
is that health is not an outcome. It's a practice.
You might not have energy, but you need to generate it.
You might not have time, but you need to find
it and create it within those margins. The way you eat,
(03:34):
the way you move, the way you sleep, the way
you manage stress. These are all levers that you can
pull one by one, like the three minute reset. That's
a first lever. Pull it today, and you know, we're
living and we're trying to improve ourselves. So folks, I
(03:54):
want you to be here. I want you to know
that we're listening and we're here to help you take
the next right step. So again, call us at eight
hundred and six or six eight eight two to two
and bring that question that you've been sitting on and
go over to doctor Bob dot com and find our
show notes in our podcast library. Your path to better health.
(04:15):
It should be clear, it should be doable, and it
should be personalized. And that's our promise. All right, folks,
let's go ahead and get into our first topic. And
today we're going to tackle a topic that affects millions,
and that's loopis and could this common virus? It could
a common virus out there? Could it be the hidden trigger?
So I want you to stay tuned because let's uncover
(04:37):
some of the truth and more importantly, how you can
fortify your immune system naturally. So, folks, if you've ever
felt like your body's attacking itself, that's that's the reality
for those that are living with loopus and that's a
complex autoimmune disease. And this recent study, it sheds light
on a potential culprit, and that's a common virus. It's
(04:57):
the epstein Bar virus or ebv. In this virus, which
most of us are exposed to in our lifetime, it
could be a key trigger in the development of Loopus's
scary right, But let's break down what this means in
more importantly, what you can do about it. All right,
let's get a little science y, but I promise to
(05:20):
keep it simple. The epstein Bar virus, the virus that's
in question, is known for causing mononucleosis or MONO, and
the study suggests that in genetically predisposed individuals, epstein bar
virus can mimic certain proteins in the body, and this
molecular clone confuses the immune system causes it to attack
(05:40):
not just the virus, but also healthy tissue. This is
a simplified explanation of the study findings, and it's important
to note that more research is needed. However, this link
between the epstein Bar virus and Loopus is becoming increasingly clear.
The study found that people with lupus often have a
(06:00):
history of epstein bar infection and it shows signs of
a heightened immune response to the virus. So what does
all this mean. It means that managing your immune system
is critical, especially if you have a history a family
history of autoimmune diseases. Now, let's talk and remind you
about the powerhouse of your immune system, and that's your gut.
(06:24):
A healthy gut microbiome is essential for a balanced immune response.
When your gut is out of balance or out of whack,
it can lead to inflammation in immune dysregulation, potentially increasing
that autoimmune risk for conditions like lupis. If you think
of your gut as a command center for your immune defenses,
(06:46):
and a strong command center means a stronger defense against
potential triggers like epstein bar So what can you do
about it? Like we say, often focus on a diet
that's rich in fiber, use probiotics, biotics, post biotics, and
think of colorful fruits and vegetables for your plate, fermented
foods like yogurt and sauer kraut, and plenty of fiber
(07:09):
rich foods to feed those beneficial gut bacteria. Now, beyond
gut health, certain nutrients are vital for supporting a healthy
immune system. Vitamin D is a big one, many people
are deficient, especially during the winter months. Vitamin D helps
to regulate that immune function and reduce inflammation throughout the body.
(07:31):
Vitamin C is another one. It's another antioxidant that supports
immune cell function. Zinc is also crucial for immune cell
development and function. And let's not forget about omega three,
fatty acids that are found in fish, flax seed, flax
seed oil, and they also have anti inflammatory properties. Now
(07:52):
I'm not saying these nutrients are a cure for lupus,
but they may play a significant role in supporting your
overall immune health in potentially mitigating the impact of those
viral triggers. And it's not just about what you eat,
it's about how you live. Stress is a major immune suppressor.
Chronic stress can wreak havoc on your immune system, making
(08:15):
you more susceptible to viral infections and potentially exacerbating the
autoimmune conditions. And find healthy ways to manage your stress,
like yoga, meditation, spending time in nature, or simply engaging
in the activities that you enjoy. Adequate sleep is also
essential for immune function. Aiming for seven to eight hours
(08:38):
of quality sleep each night, in regular exercise, even moderate
activity like walking, it can boost your immune system and
reduce those inflammatory markers. Now, let's also talk about some
natural allies in the fight for a healthy immune system.
Achination has long been used to support immune function, in
(09:00):
particular during cold and flu season. Elderberry is another potential
anti viral in immune boosting herb, Andographis is a powerful
herb that has been shown to have anti viral and
anti inflammatory properties. And remember again these these are not cures,
but they can be valuable tools in your arsenal for
(09:20):
supporting a healthy immune system. And again, before starting any
new supplement, it's always best to consult with your healthcare provider,
especially if you have an existing autoimmune condition. Now, I
bring this story up because I recently had an email
question from a listener that asked she had a family
history of loopus and she asked if she should get
(09:41):
tested for epstein bar virus antibodies. And it's a great question.
And while testing for epstein bar virus antibiot bodies, they
can they can give you an idea of past exposure.
It doesn't necessarily predict whether you'll develop loopus or autoimmune diseases. However,
no your epstein bar status. It can be helpful in
(10:04):
understanding your overall immune health. So again I recommend discussing
this with your doctor. They can assess your individual risk
factors and determine if epstein bar virus testing is appropriate
for you. So the key takeaway is this, while a
common virus like epstein bar virus may play a role
in triggering lupus, now you're not powerless. By focusing on
(10:26):
your gut health, key nutrients, lifestyle factors in a natural
immune support system, you can fortify your immune system and
potentially mitigate the impacts of those triggers and viruses. So
all right, folks, So we're coming up on a break
and join us. After the break is the legend himself,
doctor Bob Martin, to answer some of your caller questions.

health for him today. All right, let's get you feeling
your best. Okay, We're going to get to some color
(15:05):
questions with doctor Bob.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Now.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
First up, we have a question for doctor Bob. It's
from Colleen in Phoenix. She says, Doctor Bob, you helped
me with protein malabsorption while you were in practice in Phoenix.
When I came to you, you had figured out what
was wrong with me. You told me that I was
one of the rare people who could not be a vegetarian,
(15:27):
but that I needed high quality proteins such as fish
and chicken. I have started my day with that and
then have at least two protein shakes a day. I
am now seventy nine in exercise and weight train. Though
I am getting stronger, I am losing muscle mass. I
try to eat properly and use protein shakes. What would
you suggest a plan for me?
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Would be?
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Thank you so much? All right, doctor Bob, do you
want to start off that for your call?
Speaker 5 (15:58):
You know one thing that happens we age as we
get into you know, our fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and
beyond decade of life is we start to develop a
condition called cyclopenia, which is where muscle mass starts to leave.
Speaker 6 (16:15):
And there's a whole variety of reasons why that occurs,
related to hormones, related to level of activity, related to
the efficiency of our digestive system to deliver the goods
to the tissues, et cetera. What I would take a
look at in your case, Colleen, is how much aerobic
(16:37):
exercise you're doing compared to the amount of resistance exercise.
I would put that at about a twenty percent warm
up aerobic exercise followed by the resistance exercise, So you
could either jump on a treadmill or maybe ten minutes
(17:00):
minutes and then move immediately to resistance training so that
you're working the muscles, the major muscle groups of your body.
Maybe on Monday you work upper body, large muscles, tectral muscles, deltoids, latismus,
door side, all of that, and then the next day
(17:21):
you're in the gym or in your exercise facility. But
say on Wednesday you work lower body, after which you
have warmed up for ten or twenty minutes of aerobic exercise.
Maybe a upper body lower body movement could be on
a treadmill, could be on an air dine or some
elliptical machine. So I think what you have to do
(17:43):
is you have to stimulate the muscles to want to
absorb more protein. And after maybe two months of this,
by increasing your resistance, maybe lowering your aerobic exercise, you're
not seeing headway. Then it's time to measure hormones. And
you would do that through a salivary hormone panel post
(18:07):
metapousal salivary hormone panel to see what levels of your
hormones are. Your three estrogens, your progesterone, your testosterone, your DHA,
and your cortisol. These are levels that if they're out
of balance, and they can become out of balance, it's
going to be difficult for you to maintain weight by
(18:31):
increasing muscle mass. And I think this is a good
place to start. And with doctor Adam Brockman's help, you
can get one of these hormone replacement test kits, a
comprehensive post menopausal salivary hormone test kit sent to you
in the mail. If after you're not making headway after
(18:51):
two months on you know, changing up and increasing your
resistance exercise because you're doing all the right stuff. You're
taking enough protein, and I'm sure of that. It's just
not you know, there's just some glitch between the amount
of protein you're taking, either with respect to your exercise
or and or maybe some hormonal problem. And I think
(19:12):
if you get this squared away in this order, you'll
start to see the games you're looking for. Doctor Brockman, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Yeah, I agree with that. And calling again first, you're
doing so many of the things right, like doctor Bob said,
the strength training, the protein shakes, and that thoughtful diet
that doctor Bob worked with you on, and that's a
huge thing at seventy nine. But losing that muscle mats
despite the training, it can come down to a few
things that doctor Bob mentioned, the hormones that the total
(19:42):
daily protein, maybe the timing the digestion of it or
the absorption of it, and then again maybe just the
nutrients in general. So if we take that a step
back and just talk about the protein malabsorption in general
for everybody, everyone that's listening, if you aim for about
(20:03):
one gram of protein per kilogram of body weight per day,
and for many older adults, that works better than a
single big dose of that. If you spread across those meals,
but prioritize that complete protein at breakfast, the eggs, the
wild caught fish, or if you're looking at supplementation, maybe
(20:26):
a P plus egg protein blend. Then those two proteins.
That's fine, and each shake should have about twenty to
thirty grams of protein and then add some fat and
fiber to that. As far as weight training goes, like
doctor Bob said, warm up with some aerobic exercise and
then maybe a small strength session at least two or
(20:47):
three times a week that focuses on those compound movements
the squats, the rows, the hippinges, and then increase that
with progressive load like light bands you know at advanced
strength training with weight machines. And of course you want
to optimize your digestion, you might consider a digestive enzyme
(21:11):
or if you're not taking a probiotic, Doctor Heroes probiotic
well will help some of that protein protein absorption in
a body. So the key nutrients, the vitamin DS, the magnesium,
zinc B twelve, all these things should be checked as well.
And in where you need to supplement, maybe some collagen peptides.
(21:32):
But as far as that goes, if you need to
further questions. Like doctor Bob mentioned, if you need to
need a hormone a panel, you know, reach back out
to us. We'd love to answer that for you. All right, Colleen,
thank you, thank you for your call, and look forward
to seeing how you progress. We'll be right back. You're
listening to the Doctor Bob Martin Show. Are you waiting
(21:57):
on a line? Strike on the pipic nights?
Speaker 7 (22:02):
Now you meeting to.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
The time is night wady?
Speaker 6 (22:06):
Fu? You learn to deal it?
Speaker 3 (22:12):
Did you want to take the wheel stand?
Speaker 4 (22:15):
Don't you meet another man?
Speaker 6 (22:18):
Way?
Speaker 3 (22:21):
Honey? You ain't fuck Welcome back. You're listening to the
Doctor Bob Margain Show. I'm doctor Adam Brockman, and we're
trying to get to as many of your caller and
email questions as we can today. If you've got a question,
feel free to call us at eight hundred and six
or oh six eight eighty two to two, or by
visiting our website at doctor Bob dot com. All right,
(22:42):
let's get to a call from Mikey.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
I was born with a hernia when I was ten
years old. I'm seventy three right now. Got a trick
ricoccurrence when I was nineteen there was no tissue to
repair it back then or didn't have the mess, so
I lived with it. About oh, three years ago, I
went ahead and had it fixed because a few years
(23:06):
before that I've been pushing it in, pushing it in,
pushing it in as it was pumping out, and finally
had a lot of pain, got it fixed in and
out same day. What do they call it, whatever they
call it, getting the holds, I don't remember saying in outpatient,
outpatient to the hospital, got it fixed.
Speaker 5 (23:28):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
And the big thing was, Uh, the doctor had to
actually remove part of my testine because it was damaged.
So I would hope that gentleman would just bite the
bullet go get it fixed. It wasn't a big deal.
It was no pain, it was perfect. And uh, I
wish him good luck, just and thank you for all
(23:51):
that advice you gave that lady for him her husband.
That was pretty cool. So yeah, it's not a big
deal nowadays to get some fixed. I'm in the middle
gonna think about carporal tunnel pick and I'm researching non
surgical where they go in I'll patient with a tuber
or needle or something to that carporal tunnel, but I'll Uh,
(24:14):
all about that later anyway. Thanks again.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
All right, well, thanks for your call, Mike. And what
Mike was talking about is recently we answered a caller question, Uh,
he had a hernia and wanted to know what he
could do, and we gave him a few a few
options that that he could uh, he could do naturally,
but ultimately both doctor Bob and I agree that surgery
(24:38):
would be an option option for him. And again Mike
is just reinforcing that. Uh, Doctor Bob, you have any
comments on that.
Speaker 6 (24:47):
First of all, I want to let Mike know that
he wasn't born with a hernia. That hernia was caused
when the birth Ross's occurred, and it was caused by
a doctor yanking on his leg. That's what caused hernia.
I mean, otherwise you'd think babies were doing lunges inside
the uterus. No, that doesn't happen, or lifting weights heavy
(25:09):
weights inside the uterus. No, that doesn't happen either. So
this was a birth injury. It's not uncommon. I had
the same thing. They told my parents the same bs
that I was born with a hernia. Of course I
didn't learn until later, until I got into college and
learned about anatomy, physiology, et cetera, that there is no
(25:30):
such thing as being born with a hernia that's generated
by an injury that happens in the birth process of
a doctor trying to extract the child out of the
uterus prematurely yanking on the lower extremity on one side,
pulling one leg at a time. That's how hernia has happened,
all right, So, yeah, I had to have hernia surgery
(25:51):
early on, just like Mike Care. And then once you
have a tear in the abdominal wall from that kind
of a trauma, yeah, that's going to be problematic. However,
there are no safe, effective alternatives to minimally invasive hernia
(26:11):
repair surgery. It's just one of those things where you
can't expect an herb, a vitamin, a mineral, or a therapy.
Once that tear in the abdominal wall is sufficient enough
where the intestine tries to bulge through, it's just going
to get larger and larger and larger. They could entrap
the intestine and create a problem with a focal blood
(26:35):
supply issue and follow up with an infection. So it's
something today that state of the art outpatient turnia surgery
is minimal, it's safe, it's effective. It's the best thing
to do. Now with respect to your carpal tunnel, there's
another story. I would avoid carpal tunnel surgery like the plague. Way.
(26:57):
Too many people get carpal tunnel surgery on their wrists
because doctor's orthopedic surgeons say, oh, that's the only thing,
there's no options. They might throw them into physical therapy
for you know, four to six weeks. If that doesn't
do anything, which it usually doesn't because it's not addressing
the cause, the underlying problem, which is either a combination
of an entrapment in the wrist itself in the in
(27:21):
between the carpal bones, or the media and owner nerve,
and usually that is driven by repetitive stress to the wrist.
You know, like we saw a lot of a lot
of a lot of carpenters, people that are doing things
with their risk very active, like beauticians and barbers and
people moving the risks a lot repetitively. That's how they
(27:41):
get carpal tunnel and they need to get into a
chiropractor to fix that problem biomechanically, which means that the
pis of form bone in the wrist is misaligned. The
radius and all up bones are misaligned. They need to
be reset into their proper position, opening up the tunnel
where that nerve is coming through so that it's not
being trapped. You need to also check the elbow. Often
(28:04):
the elbow is misaligned. It can even happen in the
neck area. As you know, doctor Brockman. We see a
lot of these people who get carpal tunnel surgery and
they have operations, beautiful operations on their wrist, but the
problem isn't always completely at the risk. It's in the elbow,
it's in the neck, and unless you fix and realign
and take the pressure off the nerve that leads into
(28:25):
the risk. You can operate on that risk five six, seven,
eight times, and they will if you allow it. So
the best treatment doctor of choice for carpal tunnel, a
non complicated carpal tunnel is to see a chiropractic physician
who is familiar with applied kinesiology and can apply the
proper treatment manipulatively, therapy wise, stem cell anything besides surgery,
(28:52):
because once surgery happens, you're never the same. It'll form
scar tissue and the rate of recidivism on that is high.
You'll have to go back and get car tunnel surgery
again because they now solve the problem and the risk
to begin with or the elbow or the next or
accommodation of all three.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
Yeah, yeah, doctor Bob, I agree with that. And I
also want to add in outside of even the chiropractor,
trying to acupuncturist for this. And then, as doctor Bob
mentioned stem cell, one of the stem cell treatments you
can use for this is the Nuvisel, the topical stem
cell treatment that we talked about on the show before.
All right, folks, let's get back to our email question.
(29:30):
Let's see if we can catch up on some of those.
The next question is from Janelle in Point City, Michigan,
and she is asking, this isn't really a question about health,
but I listened to the program most Sundays, and I've
noticed a bit ago that I haven't heard doctor Bob
on the program. I'm assuming maybe he's retired. Question just wondering. Thanks.
(29:54):
All right, I'm gonna let doctor Bob. I'm gonna let
you go ahead and answer this one.
Speaker 6 (29:59):
I'm planning having that happen. You know, as a doctor,
you really never retire. You never quit giving health advice.
Whether it's you know, somebody that's limping down the aisle
and the airport that you want to help, or somebody
sitting next to you in the church pew if they
mentioned something related to health. You just never as a doctor,
(30:20):
as a healer. That's sort of like in your DNA
I think, or at least it should be. If you're
going to be a healthcare provider of any sort, you
just have that inside you. Your goal, your mission in
life is to help other people, and anytime you have
that opportunity, you step up.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
All right, we're coming up on a break. You're listening
to the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
Speaker 8 (30:56):

Speaker 6 (34:09):
The bottom number.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
All right, let's get to another color question from Moretta
and Marion, Iowa.
Speaker 7 (34:22):
Yes, my name is Louetta. I'm from mary And, Iowa,
and you have an eye specialist on this morning that
i'd be interested in hearing from her viewpoints. I have
a capillary problem in my eyes with the capillary's break
and bleed and they haven't been able to stop that
with injections, and they're going to do with surgery this
(34:45):
week where they're going to drain all that fluid out
of my eyes. Is there anything that she could recommend
that might help me at least in the future if not, now,
thank you. I listened to your show all the time
and I appreciate what you do.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
All right, doctor Bob, you want to start this one
from Luetta.
Speaker 6 (35:05):
Yes, Luetta, thank you for your call. This is a
problem that needs to be very carefully monitored, as you
can well imagine, and you are doing.
Speaker 7 (35:13):
With the supposed to my numbers.
Speaker 3 (35:21):
Okay, okay, doctor Bob.
Speaker 6 (35:23):
Yes, Luena, thank you for your call. This is a
situation because it's related to your vision. It needs to
be very carefully monitored by a medical doctor ophthalmologist so
that they know exactly what your status is. Once these
capillaries start to break, you need to know that it's
not just happening in your eye. Your eye is a
(35:46):
sort of like the canary in the cave. It's very sensitive.
Your eye tissue is very sensitive and will express problems
sometimes more than other areas. But if you're having capillary
fragility or breakage of capillarias, you probably are going to
see things in other areas of your body, maybe your ankles,
your legs, your face. Where you get these tatiqui or
(36:08):
these little capillary breaks, it means the whole body is
under assault in the area of collagen. Collagen is sort
of like the mortar that keeps our cells together, and
it's the mortar between our tissues. And once that starts
to break down, whether it's in the eye or in
your skin in the form of wrinkles, or your joints
(36:30):
with aggy, breaky joints, or blood vessels that you can't see,
or maybe varicose veins or these various other vessel issues.
It's happening to your whole body, So you just can't
treat the eye. That's a I mean, you know, I
understand what they're doing to a degree from an optimal
logic standpoint, but that's putting a band aid on a
(36:52):
larger problem. It's not going to solve. But you need
to work with somebody who can talk to you about
supplementing with collagen to get your collagen levels up in
your body. And you can take that supplementally in powder
and other forms, and also using flavonoids. Flavonoids are a
form of vitamin C. It's sort of way where you
(37:14):
see the inside white pulp of a lemon, a lime,
an orange. Inside that pulp, you have these flavonoids or
polyphenols in there inside that and the peeling, and when
you ingest that in your diet, it causes your body
to make more collagen. It helps your body to produce
(37:36):
more collagen, which strengthens the walls of the capillary so
that they're not able to explode or break or leak.
That must happen. Without that, you're looking down a futile path.
You'll keep going back to the eye doctor, and it
will eventually not work and you'll continue to get the
(37:57):
whatever procedures in the eye that are going on, which
still needs to be monitored. So you're going to have
to up your bioflavonoids. Up your fruits and berries which
you get the flavonoids from. You'll need to take it
supplementally internally bioflatonoids like quercetin and restferton and several other flavonoids.
(38:19):
You can get these in complex formulas in the health
food store. And you should be taking a collagen supplement.
I know that Sun Warrior makes some great collagen supplements
over there, So that's that's what needs to happen.
Speaker 3 (38:35):
M Yeah, in Doctor Bob, I want to jump in
on this a little bit and what some of the
questions I think I think she had was asking about
when Leslie was on the show, Leslie Burke with Wide
Choice Medicine and a couple of the great formulas that
they have there, which again they got a great staff
that can help answer some of her questions. But they
(38:55):
have the aclamed eye drops and these are these are
patented antioxidant eye drops that designed to restore and protect
that lens and those the retinal tissue at the cellular level.
They contain that in acetyl carnosine, the vitamin C that
you mentioned, and then the specific amino acids that they
support that ocular repair in the circulation. So another one
(39:16):
from them is the ARMED. It's Advanced Retinal and Microvascular
Defense Formula, and this is an internal nutritional supplement specifically
targeting those tiny blood vessels of the retina in the
optic nerve. So it combines lutine, xaxithin, coenzyme Q ten
bill Berry in there. These are all critical for strengthening
(39:37):
those capillaries and reducing the inflammation. So if you think
of it as nutrition that rebuilds your eyes from the
inside out. And so together with those and along with
what doctor Bob has mentioned, the supplements from Wise Choice
Medicine to oclamed in the ARMED, those are a powerful
one two punch and the products if you're looking for
(39:58):
those that are directly at wise Choice Medicine dot com.
That's Wise Choice Medicine dot Com, or you can call
them at eight four four two four nine five five
eight five. Again that's eight four four two four nine
five five eight five In Luetta. You mentioned that you're
having upcoming surgery, So the surgery will address the immediate
(40:19):
changes or the challenges that needed, but supporting your eyes
with this powerful nutrition afterward can make a difference in
preventing that reoccurrence. So remember your eyes they're incredibly regenerve
when you give them the right tools, So oxygen's, antioxidants,
the circulation, and if you combine that these nutrients that
we're talking about Doctor Bob and I, and then you
(40:40):
combine that with those products like armed and ocuumed from
Wise Choice Medicine, you'll be given your eyes what they
truly need to help heal, rebuild and thrive. All right, well,
thank you, Loretta Luretta for that question. Your body's talking.

you a god, You are good forever. Welcome back. You're
tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show and I'm doctor
Adam Brockman and friends. That's our hour, and I'm grateful
(43:27):
that you chose to invest this time in your health.
And before we part, remember the theme of today's conversation.
Health is a practice, not an outcome. You don't have
to wait for motivation. You manufacture it through tiny, repeatable
steps that compound. When your energy feels scarce and your
willpower seems fickle, if you can still win the day
(43:47):
with one small lever and maybe that's the three minute
reset we talked about earlier. In an hour, so every hour,
stand for ninety seconds for and do some easy movement,
whether it's marching in place, doing some caphraises, or desk
squads and then follow that with ninety seconds of slow
nasal breathing. If that's all you did for the next week,
(44:08):
you would improve your circulation, your focus, your stress control,
in your blood sugar stability. And that's not high that's
physiology that's applied in real life. And if you stack
it with a tall glass of water, your body will
finally say hey, you're listening. And nutrition can be simple,
like aiming for a fist size serving a protein each meal.
(44:31):
Let colorful produce cover half your plate and finish dinner
about two to three hours before bed. And you can
season your food generously, cook with olive oil and let
the herbs and spices do the heavy lifting. And you
know if you're tracking your labs or stepping on the scale,
treat those numbers as a compass, not a vertict. Look
(44:53):
for direction and trend, not instant perfection. Celebrate repeatable winds
like steadier mornings, fewer cravings, and calmer breaths between tasks,
and then you start to automate them that momentum. It
loves clarity and clarity, It thrives on simplicity. And as
we're signing off, I want you to choose the next
(45:15):
right step if it's committing to that three minute reset
every hour you're awake tomorrow, or putting a glass of
or a bottle of water on your night stand before bed,
or you set a screen dimming alarm for about an
hour before bedtime. And folks, we love to hear your
success stories. Those small hinges, they swing the big doors.
(45:36):
If you have a question we didn't get to, or
you want to win, or you have a win that
you want to share, call us at eight hundred six
zero six eight eighty two to two during the show
or after the show. If you prefer to read, explore,
or reflect on your own time, that's all waiting for
you at doctor bob dot com. It's not out the
word doctor doctr bob dot com. And to our health community,
(46:00):
thank you for your trust the work you do in
between shows, that glass of water, the plate of colorful vegetables,
or one mindful breath that builds the kind of resilience
that no headline can shape. And healthy isn't a finish line,
it's a rhythm. So if you find yours and keep
the beat and watch the benefits multiply, and until next time,
(46:21):
be kind to your body, be curious about your habits
and be patient with your progress. You're closer to thriving
than you think, and today was another step towards that.
And I'm doctor Adam Brockman and this has been the
Doctor Bob Martin Show. Stay well, stay consistent, and we'll
meet you again next hour
