Toby and Chili Mornings on Demand onninety seven point one wash out out.
You know, I'm happy before fiveam this morning. I'm happy that a
rain that sounds like that song fromthe nineties by the Bad Garbage ninety seven
point one wash up and where Tobyand Chili in the morning, no rain
is. It turns out that rainis a good thing in a lot of
ways. Chile, did you findsome statistics about why we should look at

(00:21):
the positive side of rain that madethe pool shut down? Yesterda, Well,
I'm not trying to defend that. You won't get me to defend a
pool being that's not never a goodthing. But no, but but rain
is in addition to the you know, obvious benefits of rain. You know,
there's something about that healing sound ofnature's white noise, and it distresses

(00:43):
you. And I could go intothe weeds about negative ions and rain and
positive ions, but the bottom lineis that we need rain every now and
then, not just for those thingsthat grow that Chile and I will kill
in the form of plants that aren'tsucculents, but because life and it balances
us out as people. You know, Yeah, I will say again looking

(01:03):
at the positive as long as there'sno thunderstorm. One of the coolest sensations
or sensory things is swimming in apool during rain. Does that make sense?
Like the drops are hitting the waterand you're kind of wet anyway in
the water, and then you've gotrain falling on It's just a cool experience.
I remember how that happen. Youand I talking about that yesterday off

(01:26):
the air, and then I wasoutside before it all hit, like for
twenty minutes and it started raining, and I go, well, maybe if
there's no thunder and lightning, andthen my phone starts going off with lightning
alerts and I'm like, well somuch fat Yeah, exactly. You take
the good and you take the bad, you know. But anyway, hopefully
the weather didn't compound any problems foryou. I know my daughter was at

(01:51):
the mercy of it with travel andstuff. Hopefully you didn't have any of
that happened to you this morning, and if you did, well, maybe

is five pool parties, three roadtrips, five trips to the beach,
eight hours of play every day.Well, isn't that glorious? We where's
the partridge in the parish? Oh? That's Christmas my pad? Sorry?
Well those are kids perspective, right, But if you were to ask yourselves,

(02:57):
yeah, well, what the perfectsummer look like. What would the
answer be, Well, I thinkfor a kid, a pool party does
not involve going to the pool withmom and dad. It involves going to
the pool with the friends. Imean. But if we're acting like grown
ups, I would tell you thatthe perfect summer, at least for me,
Yeah, would be getting out andenjoying life with the time that we

(03:21):

It's kind of like that whole turnand burn trip to Hawaii. Sure it
was a long flight, but youknow what bucket list check it off.
You know. If I were toget specific, I would love to have
at least two vacations, one ofthem being at a beach, and at
least three cookouts with friends or family. I love the cookout vibe, and

(03:44):
I'd love to think, like oncea month over the summer to do it.
I see your cookout and I throwin one fire pit. Oh in
fact, you know what I thinkthe summer and you hope again, Oh
yeah, if it's a little bitcool, you know, like after like
a rain or whatever, and it'snot too like muddy and whatever, I
better go up to that place inHarper's Oh, okay, okay, one
more and I'd like a trip withjust friends, no family, all right,

from Ernest Timmingway, the King ofKey West, who says, hope is

to fire you, you're ready forthem to quit, You're ready for life

found. You're never so far gonethat you can't find your way back.

Chipotle fans gather around ninety seven pointone WASHCHEFM where Toby and Chilling in the
morning. If you heard of thishack that's gone viral on TikTok that people
are talking about the Chipotle hack toget accurate portion sizes. I don't know

(09:58):
if you you saw this chilling ornot, but posted something yesterday on our
social media and made a quick littlevideo about it. Long story short,
there is a TikTok movement where peopleare rolling in with full blown cameras and
lights and whatnot, and they're recordingvideo on their phones of Chipotle employees to
make sure that the employees aren't skimpingon the portion sizes when it comes to

(10:20):
what they get at their favorite burritoball place. I see. So I
guess the thinking is if the employeeknows that they're being recorded, they are
going to give you exactly what you'reordering? How more right? Well,
maybe even more because you know youwant a good review you're on video.
You don't want to get trashed onsocial media? Well am I going to
give you more? If I workthere? But okay, I'll give you

(10:41):
whatever this calls for. No,it's gone viral. Chipotle shot an arrow
through the hack saying, hey, this isn't a thing. We didn't tell
our employees to do anything like this, but nonetheless it's gone viral. People
are filming the stuff. I jumpedonto the craze for am it, and
then I thought about it, andI'm like, Okay, I understand holding

(11:01):
places accountable, that's one thing,But don't you think these Chipotle employees have
a right to privacy, Like theydidn't ask to be filmed? On video
doing their job. No, butthey're in a public place and there gets
a little tricky. Now, Iwill say, at least it's not a
hidden camera. If they're rolling upwith the camera obvious. That's a lot
better than you trying to trick meinto doing something and giving you less of

(11:24):
something and saying, oh, sheonly gave me one scoop instead of two.
And look, Chipotle is a goodpartner for us here at ninety seven
point one wastch FM. We alllove Chipotle around here. I've never had
bad portion sizes at Chipotle, soI'm not trying to say that that's a
thing. But this, after Ijumped on it, I just had to.

(11:45):
I kind of took a step backand I thought about it again,
and I just didn't know that itseemed fair. Yeah, I want my

a look at the video. You'vegot to have thoughts. We would love

Because when I read this, Ijust scratched my head. I've never been
a mom, but I have beenkind of a single co parent at times.
I know that parenting is not easy. Well, they've shunned the idea
of trying to be super mom,so they're just like, you know what,
I'm good enough. That means lettinggo of all these expectations of having
a perfect home, doing all theright things, and just settling and it's

(17:30):
not really settling for making sure thatyour kid is healthy and happy. I
guess so it's kind of like realizingthat you know what okay is just okay,
you know what perfectly said, becauseyou're never going to live up to
that other expectation. You're going toend up stressing yourself out. And you
come to realize. I think,as you parent longer, what really does
