Speaker 1 (00:03):
Wakem It gets my day going and makes me laugh.
I of it. Mac and Schmitty in the morning on
Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Oh, good morning, Schmitty, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Welcome into your Tuesday. And who is it a cold
one out there? As temperatures are in the teens across
West Michigan with feels like temp seep and chillier than that.
Snow still coming down in some areas as we've got
a winter weather advisory across most of West Michigan.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Yeah, that's gonna go at least overnight to night till
about one am tomorrow. But man, I've got to give
a big thank you because I know quite a few
of them. Listen, our snowplow drivers are incredible. My drive
in on one point thirty one southbound this morning with
so much better than I anticipated, and I know it's
because they were out working all night long to lay

(00:52):
salt and try to plow. I passed four of them
on my way in, So I just don't think they
get thanks enough for the long hours they work, and
it's definitely.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Noticed, and of course as you go buy them, give
them space, especially when you're one of the people out
there this early in the morning. There's not a lot
of us out in the road. Just give them tons
and tons of rooms. You stay way out of the
way over there and make sure it's a safe pride
for everybody this morning.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Movies, music, and all the gossip in one place.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
It's the Celebritiescoop on Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Some fans were worried when pictures surfaced of FBI agents
at the home of Ben Affleck after he returned following
evacuation orders during those deadly LA fires.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
But we're not learning he was not in any trouble
with the law.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
FBI agents, along with the La County Sheriff's deputies, stopped
his Brentwood home and realized that they needed to get
some I guess eye witness accounts of get this an
area drone incident. So they talked to quite a few
different neighbors, and we're investigating an incident in which a
private drone collided with a firefighting aircraft, doing some pretty

(02:01):
decent damage. The aircraft helping the LAFD battle those wildfires. Now,
it's unclear if they officially spoke with Ben. His reps
aren't saying much about this, but they're saying he was
not the target of any kind of FBI probe. He
simply was so close to where this incident happened. They
were either looking to see if he noticed anything or

(02:22):
if there may have been any debris in his yard
or area. As this investigation continues, the LAFD has warned
civilians please please be cautious with your drones because of
things just like this.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I saw a story about that collision on CNN just
a couple of days ago. So here the ben Affleck
is somehow involved.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
In that well, I mean he lives in the area.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Ye the weekend, putting projects on hold like so many
others because of these devastating La fires. The singer sharing
news on Instagram yesterday that his new album Hurry Up
Tomorrow has been pushed back a week, saying out of
respect and concern for the people of La County, the
Rose Bull Show has been canceled and the album date

(03:06):
has been postponed. He said the city has always been
a profound source of inspiration for me, and my thoughts
are with everyone impacted.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
During this difficult time.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
He said that Rose Bull Show, originally scheduled for January
twenty fifth with the album, will now be January thirty first,
as he also shared resources for people to donate to
that death Tool stands at twenty four this morning.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I mean, everybody with a hard tour with a publicist
is being told like, hey, if your home base is
Los Angeles, you're not doing anything until.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
This is handled.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
And finally, big congratulations to Brittany and Patrick Mahomes. They
just welcomed their third little bundle of joy. Brittany shared
the exciting news yesterday on her Instagram, revealing the couple's
little girl, Golden Ray Mahomes. The newborn came sometime on Sunday,

(03:59):
very well. Welcome relief for Brittany, who does admit this
has been the toughest pregnancy yet. She was dealing with exhaustion, sickness,
skin issues, but the family is thrilled.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Golden Ray will join.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Three year old sisters Sterling and two year old brother Bronze.
Pretty good timing as Patrick is due back on the
field Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Really gold, silver and Bronze, but they did not Gowell.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
So not silver?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
No, all right, it's basic. How is it? Non silver?

Speaker 4 (04:31):
That's what's dude? Act like you haven't heard weird names.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
I've got some pictures for you with your scoop at
West Michigan Star Dot.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Sometime because I get a good feeling yeah point yeah,
good morning to you. It's Mack and SCHMITTI always looking
to lift your spirits with feeling good for you right now.
And it's an incredible act of bravery and selflessness that
was witnessed in Lawrence, Massachusetts last week. I'm third is

(05:01):
a group of over a half a dozen strangers ran
and came out of the woodwork to rescue a seventy
three year old woman after a terrifying accident. Her name
is Zoe Zoa Mendez. The incident occurred Thursday afternoon while
she was making flower deliveries for her job well. Her
car accidentally got left in park and as she walked

(05:22):
in front of it, it rolled on top of her,
trapping her beneath its weight. This whole thing caught on
video as a matter of fact, from a local store nearby,
as person after person came running up to help her.
One of those people's, Elvis Burgos, was there as he
was one of the first bystanders to step in, as

(05:44):
well as local shop owner Yanette Menaya, just saying it
was incredible to see all of these people run and
spring into action.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
We ran out in the word first one that started
moving pushing the car to say we can lift it up.
And then soon after man started appearing and helping us
lift the car, and yeah, we got it out.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
It was really sad because she was it looked like
she was really really hurt.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
But the community around here they really helped a lot.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
They really did. I mean, like I said, more than
a half a dozen people coming up to help working
her free as rescuers arrived, and thanks to their swift actions,
she was freed rushed to the hospital where she did
sustain injuries, especially to her legs, but is expected to
make a full recovery because they're heroics.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Well, it was a very cool moment on Sunday as
justin Timberlake joined the famous bike bus.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
I know, I've done a ton of stories. I love
the bike bus.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Coach Sam Balto is the pe teacher in Portland, Oregon,
and he is the founder of bike Bus. Him and
any student that wants joins up and rides bikes to school.
It has grown into an unbelievable movement about getting outside
and getting active, and it all started last October when
Sam posted this video.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
To come join our mic bus, We'd love to have you.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
He showed all the kids riding Justin Timberlake was the soundtrack. Well,
it just so happened that Justin had one of his
tour stops in Portland's Sunday night and got in contact
with the bike bus and surprised a bunch of pretty
stoked kids.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
We got a true Portland day right now, we knew
the bike bus Rainer Shine see wow.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
He went around, he signed autographs, he took pictures with everybody.
He even got gifted a personalized Justin Timberlake lego that
one of the kids built, and said he had the
greatest time thanking the bike bus on Insta, saying that
was probably the best morning bike ride I've ever had.
You guys are bringing a lot of joy to a
lot of people out here. Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
That's really cool.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
But I mean he would join in like that, I
gotta imagine there was probably a lot of middle aged
women riding their kids bike bides.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Well, there's the reason it was made for a Sunday
morning special ride where they weren't going to school.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Movies, music and all the gossip in one place. It's
the celebritiescoop on Star one oh five point seven.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
You know, we had all been wondering for a while,
and it was confirmed yesterday. Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson
have officially split up after a decade of marriage. Jessica
saying Eric and I have been living separately, navigating a
painful situation in our marriage. Our children come first and
we're focusing on what is best for them. We're grateful

(08:40):
for all of the love and support that's been coming
our way and appreciate privacy right now as we work
through this as a family. The couple have been together
since two thousand and ten. They have three kids, twelve
year old Maxwell, eleven year old Ace, and five year
old Bertie. A lot of rumors had been swirling about
the two. They'd been seen out without their wedding rings

(09:02):
the past few months. And remember that very cryptic post
from Jessica back in November. She's been working on a
ton of music in Nashville. She admitted that she was
spending a lot of time away from la but then
she posted that picture to Instagram teasing the comeback, saying
an apology to myself for putting up with everything I
did not deserve.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Yeah, the two will.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Be hopefully amicable with those three kids, but divorce is set.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Those are tough ages to be going through a divorce.
And for sure, definitely in between that too young to
quite get it and definitely old enough to feel all.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
The fields and hopefully not google anything. That's what always
gets me. Very scary stuff for WNBA star Caitlin Clark as,
an alleged stalker, was just arrested in Indianapolis. Michael Thomas
Lewis is fifty five, originally of Texas, charged with one
count of stalking, accused of in aging and a course

(10:01):
of conduct involving repeated or continuing harassment of Caitlin that
would cause a reasonable person to feel terrorized. That's what
the documents say. According to this from December sixteenth to
January twod, Lewis sent a series of vulgar and sexually
charged messages to Clark. Police were able to trace him

(10:22):
through an IP address. When they finally tracked him down
to a hotel, he said that it was just an
imaginary relationship and that the messages were an imagination, fantasy
type thing and everything was just a joke. Had nothing
to do with things being threatening. While officers then interviewed Clark,
who stated she had become seriously concerned for her safety.

(10:46):
She'd been very fearful since learning of the messages. She'd
actually been altering her public appearances and completely changing patterns
of movement due to that fear. She said as soon
as she found out that he had made his way
to in Indianapolis, she was especially terrified. Prosecutors say that
they are going to ask for a high bail, telling

(11:07):
a judge listen, this guy literally moved from his home
in Texas to Indie with the sole intent of being
closer in proximity to the victim.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
This is terrifying stuff.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
What was his name against Minty?

Speaker 4 (11:18):
It was Michael Thomas Lewis.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
I swear when they give you the three names, you're
a stalker or a serior killer, no ine between.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Finally, Jimmy Kimmel returning to Hollywood last night to film
a new episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live after canceling all
of his tapings last week. He actually admitted his staff
had to evacuate their studios due to those Los Angeles wildfires.
The late night host talking about just how intensely hard.

(11:46):
This last week has ended.

Speaker 6 (11:47):
Very scary, very stressful, very strange week here in LA
where we work, where we live, or our kids go
to school. Many of us had to leave our homes
in a hurry. Some of our coworkers lost their homes.
It's been terrible. It's been a terrible Everyone who lives

(12:08):
in the city knows someone most of us, multiple people, families, friends, colleagues,
neighbors whose house is burned down. And the truth is,
we don't even know if it's over. We had one
hundred mile per hour winds fueling this night mare. As
of tonight, their winds are back, and I think I
speak for all of us when I say it has
been sickening, shocking, awful experience, but has also been in

(12:33):
a lot of ways a beautiful experience.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
He talks about once again seeing fellow men and women
coming together to support each other, people who had lost
their own homes out volunteering in parking lots, helping others
who had lost theirs. He said, it is those moments
that give you a bit of positivity. As like you mentioned,
those wins are back and firefighters continue to do.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Everything they can out of the late ninth host Jimmy
Kimmel is the one that always comes to mind for
you know, not being afraid to get a little bit emotional,
very genuine thanks are going on out there, and it
always just gets me right into soul for sure.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
All of your celeb scoop, including his full monologue about
those fires and his own family at West Michigan Star.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Dot Com points seven, good morning, toy, it's Mack and
Schmidty here, and you mentioned okay, so Fomo fear of
missing out, and then you said Jomo, which, for a
split second as Alliance fan, I was like, oh, is
this about Jamis.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
And Williams Because you guys call it j moo, call
him Jamo. That is not Jomo.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Jomo is the joy of missing out. I heard about this.
It's on TikTok video over the weekend, and I love
it because I am probably the biggest person with Fomo
I have for as long as I can remember. I
don't want to I don't want to miss a party.
I don't want to miss time connecting with people.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
Professionally.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
It's really hard because I'm just like, ooh, if I
don't go to that, I've missed a networking opportunity. I've
missed an opportunity to meet a great organization, I've missed
an opportunity to be in the community. I have serious
FOMO And this new term JOMO is all about taking
a step back and being really okay with being by yourself,

(14:12):
joy of missing out. So it's like, let me kind
of deep dive into this.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
A little further.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
And they're calling this a sociological phenomenon, and they're saying,
you can be content in the present moment. You don't
have to worry about what others are doing where they're going.
It's all about you taking the time to relax and
be good with where your life is at. And now
researchers are saying this leads to increased productivity, increased focus,

(14:40):
increased engagement in your relationships, and it improves your emotional
and physical wellbeing. It is so healthy for you to
not go out.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
And do things.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
So just to say no to all the plans that
other people are trying to make it for me.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
I'm gonna say I don't think no to all the plans, right, Like,
I really enjoy being a own friends of mine that
fill my cup if you will, but.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Not all of the things, maybe.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
The work lunch you can bail on, or if there's
you know, ough, the one thing that really I think
is the hardest plan for me to follow through on
because I asked this on Facebook, what is just the
really challenging plan?

Speaker 4 (15:20):
No matter how extroverted you are, you don't want to
do it.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Anytime someone has invited me to dinner and I know
that there's going to be two or three different groups
of people, I don't know that one's really really hard,
and I like, like I do enjoy meeting new people.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
I thrive on that.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
But like a giant birthday dinner where I know there's
going to be thirty people and I will know six.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
There is just time we're having to make. Small talk
becomes the hardest talk of them all. What you love
about being with people that you're really close with is
the ability for them to already know you and to
know your issues, your problems, your life, your success is
all of those things and not have to tiptoe around
some of the larger things that's there.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Led I've met some of my best friends with small talk.
So it's not again, it's not don't do anything, stay inside,
be a hermit, like, I'm not saying that, but occasionally.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Yes, you can say no family things.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
I think is a big one for people, especially now
that we're post holidays. I mean, I have friends of
mine that are like, I just can't do any more
hosting with fam right now. See you in February, give
me a shot. This is really hard, I think in
January too, because so many people attempt to do dry
January and the worst part about going out and trying
to meet people is not having anything to maybe lower

(16:41):
your inhibitions and make you more social. So I'm curious
on what the hardest plan to bail on is, or
maybe you're someone that's going to call in and say, hey,
here's the top three things you do. Because I literally
cancel plans all the time, and I am in such
a good place. I want to hear from Jomo success
stories the joy of missing out, not the fear, but

(17:04):
the joy six one six, four five eight one five seven.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
It's good for your health.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
I mean, I can.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Almost put this as a parent confession, Smitty, but just
to be honest about it, anytime my kid's plans are canceled,
oh that sparks joy in my heart big time. If
it's a practice that's canceled if it's some school function.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Oh it's raining today. Want a shame.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
We all won't be able to get together and stand
there and watch our kids for an hour.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
You got to make best friends with one of your
kids parents, and then they come over, they go sledding,
and you.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Sit there and have a glass of wine.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Are you going talking to you?

Speaker 3 (17:35):
Rebecca Schmitty's so salty?

Speaker 1 (17:38):
All right, let's go ahead and lie down for our
weekly therapy session. Salty Schmitty right here, and yeah, brought
up six sick kids, Schmitty, which I feel like are
just falling like dominoes right now.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
So everybody has so many of those moments, especially depending
on the age of your kid. I mean, if you've
got a kid that is just entering school age, I'm
expecting to see you because they're going to be sick
every other week. With this introduction of all new germs. Ooh,
does this make me so irrationally upset? And I think

(18:10):
it was probably triggering me for salty because it happened
just the other day.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
So my daughter is sick once again. She got into
your infection.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
She tends to be very prone to that The last
thing I need to hear from you is I quote, wow,
it seems like you guys are always sick. Are you
sure you're feeding them the right things? Have you ever
checked out, like what kinds of things they're drinking?

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Personally?

Speaker 3 (18:36):
I use essential oils and my kids never even have
a sniffall I and people have done it to me
and my dms that listeners have sent me these things
and they're like, wow, it just it seems like you
guys are always down for the count and you're not
being helpful. You're being judgmental, and you're not here to
help me in any way. You're here to tell me

(18:58):
what a lousy mind I am because my kids are
always sick. Well, maybe it's because my kids are social
and go to school and hang out with people and
have a good time in life. Maybe that's why we're
not always sick. IM Like, I talk to the doctors,
maybe they're not. They're very careful about prescribing antibiotics. And

(19:19):
I get doctor Karen that you may not have gone
to medical school, but you still't definitely know more than
any of the pediatricians I've ever spoken to. That I
should probably just look at other things because I'm the
reason my kids are always sick.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Oh so annoying to me.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Please, if you see me posting about having a hard
time you know kids are having, just scroll on past
because I don't need your DM with absolutely nothing helpful. Really,
so salky movies, music and all the gossip in one place.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
It's the sal Celebrities group on Star one oh five
point seven.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Well, a big announcement yesterday had the Internet somewhat divided.
Carrie Underwood has been confirmed as a performer for President
elect Donald Trump's inauguration that is set for Monday, when
you will be sworn in as the forty seventh president
of the United States. Naturally, with anything political, there were
people that loved this and people that did not. According

(20:25):
to a leaked memo, the country singer will belt out
America the Beautiful alongside the Armed Forces Choir and the
United States Naval Academy Glee Club. The performance will go
down right after Vice President elect Vance is sworn in,
and of course, moments before President Elect Trump takes that oath. Now,
Carrie eventually having to make it a statement yesterday afternoon

(20:49):
saying I love our country and am honored to have
been asked to sing at the inauguration and to be
a small part of this historic event. I'm humbled to
answer the call at a time when we must all
come together in the spirit of unity and looking to
the future. Now, big celebrations will actually start this weekend,
with Kid Rock slated to take the stage at the

(21:12):
President Alex Victory Rally on Sunday, which will be a
Capital One Arena in DC.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Yeah, as you said, you touch anything political, half the
country's get to be mad at you.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Travis Kelsey's got Taylor Swift on the mind even when
he's talking playoff ball. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar drop
by the Pat McAfee show yesterday, where he was asked
about how he's feeling coming off the first round by
in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Fired up, I'm feeling twenty two all over again.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Baby, let's go Hell yeah, far me up.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
I'm about you.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
Oh yeah, he was really excited. The guys did not
miss that little reference. He said that he's super excited.
He's been very, very focused on playing. Ready to rock
and roll as the Chiefs welcome the Houston Texans to
the Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
This is very interesting as well too. There was just
a tiny little bit.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Of talk about new Taylor Swift music, and Travis was
very very quiet about that. He said, listen, you know
she's always at work on certain different things. Refused to
confirm or deny whether or not she's already got new
music coming. And speaking of Taylor, did you see this
another incredibly generous gift from her Ara's tour. She had

(22:33):
a big thank you for Robert, one of her employees
that had worked throughout the tour, gifting him what she
called a well deserved one hundred thousand dollars bonus word.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Yeah, she treats those employees good, by the way.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
I do like that.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Travis Kelsey is now dropping his own Easter Eggs conversation
Taylor's music.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
That's that's great.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Finally, a lot of people are wondering where some of
your favor game shows are at given those wildfires. In
la ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live Back last night, if you
missed our scoop last Hour, Jimmy getting very emotional about
life in the last week. But CBS is after midnight
as well as the price is right, suspending all tapings

(23:17):
last week. Now they're hoping possibly to start taping again
by the end of this week, but at least today,
possibly tomorrow that is still canceled. There is still a
threat that some of these crews and cast will actually
have to evacuate studios again based on these fires.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
I mean, they just are not letting up.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
I know some of those shows put shows in the
can for long periods of time in advance, but obviously
having some that are close to live is important to
those studios.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
But yeah, what a you can do?

Speaker 3 (23:45):
All of your celeb scoop at West Michigan Star dot com.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Stelling a five points you have in Mack and Spinty
ready to battle Battle of this sex Is and we
want to get you to the rodeo, Schmitty, this is
going to be so fun.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
The PBR Rodeo had a divan handle a crowd. Please
at the end of this month. This is January twenty
fourth and twenty fifth for two days of action. We've
got your chance at tickets right now with Battle of
the Sex Is and today's number one answer, one hundred
women surveyed what age do young people think they have
it all figured out?

Speaker 1 (24:17):
I'll give you the answers in the teens just so
you know, all the top answers are in the teens.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
Here.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
However, I will say that you feel that way until
you reach the age where you know you have nothing
figured out.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
It is like, oh, what really surprising? Because I'd love
to meet the people with this confidence. I've never met
anyone at any age of their life where they have
said that rank you so much more than my parents
by the time.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Maybe maybe it's a man versus woman thing.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
Us ladies are out here like, no, that's probably a
bad idea, and then guys are like, let me go
at it with my head. Six one, six, four, five, eight,
one oh five seven caller seven one hundred women surveyed
what age do young people think they have it all
figured out? That number one answer, We're sending you to
the PBR Pendleton Whiskey Velocity tourk with Starmino five point seven.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Good morning Star. Who's this?

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Hi? This is Selena, you said, Elena, Selena, Selena, Where
are you coming from today? I am calling from Morley, Michigan?

Speaker 2 (25:17):
All right, Selena.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
One hundred women were as to tell me the age
at which you think young people think they just have
it all figured out? And I did give a big
hint that the age was in the teen. So what
do you think it is?

Speaker 2 (25:30):
Selena? My guess would be.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
Eighteen years old?

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Because when I was eighteen, I thought I had everything
figured out.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
I mean, I can vote, now, what can't I do?

Speaker 1 (25:39):
I know? Right at this point in time, at the
ripe bold age of eighteen, I've just entered adulthood and
I'm already smarter than everyone else.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Isn't that amazing?

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Eighteen?

Speaker 2 (25:50):
That, though, is the number three most common good I'm sorry, Selena,
thank you so much. Hi star, who's this Patty? Patty?

Speaker 1 (26:00):
I just got a great guest from Selena who had
it all figured out at age eighteen. When one hundred
women were asked to tell me the age at which
young people think they have it all figured out, that's
what you said, eighteen, and that was the number three
most common answer. And I did let everybody know that
the answer is in the teen. So what do you
think it is, Patty?

Speaker 2 (26:19):
I think at nineteen.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Nineteen, you're waiting to get a little bit older even
than the eighteen. I mean, yeah, you're eighteen. I'm new
to adulthood. Nineteen. I mean I've been here for a
while now. Nineteen is not on the list, though, I'm sorry, fat,
thank you, thank you, Hi star.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Who's this Paul?

Speaker 1 (26:39):
I've gotten some great guesses, but nobody's been able to
give me that top answer just yet. I thus far
have heard eighteen years old and nineteen years old for
the answers. When one hundred women were asked to tell
me the age of which young people think they have
it all figured out. The answer is in the teens,
but it's not eighteen or nineteen. So, Paul, what do

(27:00):
you think it is? Say thirteen? You're going thirteen? You
were just in your tweens. You hadn't even hit thirteen yet,
and yet you already think you have everything figured out.
That's the number four most common answer, though, Paul, I'm sorry,
thank you, Hi star. Who's this, Tammy?

Speaker 2 (27:22):
I can't believe nobody's gotten it yet.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
But one hundred women were asked to tell me the
agent with young people they think they've got it all
figured out. So far, I've heard eighteen, which was the
number three most common answer, nineteen not on the list,
and thirteen, which was the number four most common answer,
but not the top one. So you got a chance,
what do you.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Think it is I think it is fifteen? You said
fifteen or sixteen?

Speaker 1 (27:45):
I said fifteen?

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Fifteen not old enough to drive?

Speaker 1 (27:49):
But you know what, I bet I could if you
guys would just let me, because I have everything figured
out in life.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Fifteen's the top answer it again, talk, I'm so happy
right now. I just chopped driver school and she is
jumping up and down outside in the snow. Awesome.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Well, you guys are going to have a blast at
the PBR Rodeo later this month.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Congrats, Thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (28:11):
When did you think you had it all figured out
as a teenager just out of curiosity? Ooh, I was
a little bit of a late bloomer.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
I was probably about nineteen.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Yeah, when you entered that phase.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
How long did it take you to figure out that
you actually had nothing in life figured out?

Speaker 4 (28:26):
I am not figured out yet, and I'm.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Like forty four, exactly right there with you. I think
wisdom is that you never quite figure everything out. However, congratulations,
and we'll do it again tomorrow. I'm gonna get you
into the PBR Rodeo eight fifteen with Battle of the
Sexes here on start showing a fine points. Yeah, but
good morning too. You it's mac and Schmidty, and I

(28:50):
feel like Schmitty. I'm living with savages because I don't
feel like anyone is taking the sanctity of a pea
butter and jelly sandwich serious in my household except for me.
I have to ask you when you make a peanut
butter and jelly sandwich, the staple of households across America
for generations. Now, do you use the same knife for

(29:14):
the jelly and the peanut butter? What happens with the
knife in between? Do you wipe it on the side
of whichever condiment is there in order that it goes
in for you?

Speaker 3 (29:24):
I do peanut butter first, and then I wash the
peanut butter off on the other piece of empty bread than.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
I do the jelly.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
Okay, so you're using your bread as the towel mechanism,
if you will, I am sorry. But in my households,
I feel like I am losing my mind because my
kids eat two different kinds of jelly. They grape and strawberry,
and there's no in between. My son's gotta have grape,
daughter's gotta have strawberry. They have left so much jelly

(29:50):
inside of my peanut butter. I don't know which is
witch anymore. And it's like I bought one of those
disgusting cans where they combo the two of them.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
That was going to properly makeup peis because you start
with the peanut butter.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
This isn't the This isn't a one time occurrence. This
is the build up of animosity over years. It had
boiled over yesterday because I opened it up, and I
swear to God, there were several different types of jelly
just floating in my peanut butter, and I didn't want
a peanut butter and jelly. I was trying to do
peanut butter on toast, and I couldn't because my peanut
butter had been so sullied by the nastiness of multiple

(30:27):
jellies that I just I wanted to do evict my children.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
I wanted to you don't get your kids their own
condiments what we do. But I started doing that a
while ago.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Was like, well, here's your teeny tiny little peanut butter,
because he's all about doing stuff on his own. And
then the adult peanut butter is at the very back
of the fridge, hidden by things he wouldn't dare look
behind for that exact reason.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
See I saw on Facebook I asked this question, and
it brought up a couple of things that I think
are worth noting. There are a lot of people using
the squeeze jellies. Now, the squeeze jelly sort of, you know,
help the issue a little bit, but you still got
a spread.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
But I am a key one on jelly woman.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
If you shop at Meyer and you need the key,
it's the best jilly in the whole wide world. It
doesn't come as a squeezer, It's only in a jar.
And I'm not gonna I'm not gonna subject myself to
not quean on jelly.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
But here's the part that actually just made this so
much worse for me. As I'm answering or I'm looking
at all these answers on our Facebook page right now,
the amount of you who are licking that that knife
before diving into the other condiment is disgusting. And the
part that makes it the worst is that I know
my kids must be doing it too. One hundred percent.
These kids are giving me everything they got.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
I guess I gave up on that years ago. Everything
I touch has been licked. What is your method for
the proper PB and Jay and are your Children's savages
as well.

Speaker 1 (31:45):

makes you feel better, it doesn't really mean. I know
