Speaker 1 (00:01):
From the theme park capital of the World, Orlando, Florida.
This is the Theme Park Podcast. Wait podcast?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Is this a radio?

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Why does everything gotta be so messy on this station?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Anyway?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Here's your host, Dickerman, Jimmy d and Scott Harris.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Hey thereon Welcome ins to the Theme Park Podcast. Stickerman.
Here there is Jimmy Deam Happy Turkey season, and Scott Harris.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
You can't get rid of the Boogeyman.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
We are walking a fine line this week on this
show because on one side of the table we've had
an experience at a one final Halloween event. On the
other side of the table, we got to go go
do our first holiday Christmas theme event. That's correct, should.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
We actually, there's actually really big news that was announced yesterday.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
We should start the show with breaking news.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yes, a ride just got kind of like I'm assuming
the equivalent of a lifetime contract. Okay, because they announced
yesterday Universal Studios that they are making a fourth The
Mummy movie, bringing back Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weiss, basically

(01:16):
saying the Mummy three did not happen because she is
she gets replaced in that movie by a different actress.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Okay, but Brandon was still in it.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Brendan was still in it. Okay, it's kind of the
last action movie he did for his body really gave out.
But this basically means that the Mummy roller Coaster is
never gonna go away.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
It's not going anywhere. We need to be careful with
Brendan Fraser this time around. Must not break him. Ye,
he's fragile, but I'm happy to see him getting along.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
We should say, Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yeah, yeah, No, it's cool to see him getting all
this work because he's by all accounts a good dude.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yes, but go enjoy that ride and bring him his coffee.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
It's a good ride. Love, I love an indoor roller coaster, and.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
They've put a lot of work into you, like updating it.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
I haven't been on it forever.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
The picture that they showed they released with the announcement
of the two of them together for the Next Moment movie, he.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Looked like he was in pretty good shape.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Do you think he gets even more jacked for that rule? No,
I think I made that they get where he's gotten, is,
you know, a miracle?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Yeah, I'm just curious because, like, the character that he's
playing is like kind of a heart throb, and he's
still got you know, good books.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Well, yeah, I'm not saying like Ozembic is I don't
I don't know that he took Ozenberger didn't do Ozembic.
But these these things have changed lives for a lot
of people.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
My guess is because in the second movie they have
a kid. In the third movie, the kid is like
the co actiony lead. So my guess it will be
a two or a three hander between them, the couple
and their their son.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Do we know he's playing the kid? I better not
be Shyla Buffer. No, no, no, it was.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
It was an actor. It was an actor named Luke
Ford in the last one. So maybe they bring him back.
But if they're kind of negating that one, maybe they
bring it a whole different act.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I think it's gonna be Pedro Capascal.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
I mean, it could be a Hemsworth.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yeah, it could be anybody, it could be. Well that
does that does guarantee the longevity of the ride.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Out because remember there was talk that they were going
to re theme the ride to the Tom Cruise movie
when that was coming out.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah, and that did not do really well, it.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Did not do well. In the fan outcry was like
please no.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Yeah, yeah, I think they thought the Tom Cruise reboot
was gonna like be fire and it was not.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Well. The Dark Universe really fizzled out after one movie.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Yeah, I did, like, I did like the Tom Cruise one.
I like the Growitz in that too. She's great. I
can't remember her name, but she's good.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Sophia Battel, Yes, yeah, the actual money.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Yeah, yeah, she was great in that.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
You weren't a fan of Nick Morton? A US Army sergeant.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
I don't recall Nick Morton, Yes, you do, Tom Cruise,
that was Tom Cruise Oka, Yeah, I don't remember that. Yeah,
I remember what his name was.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Remember the picture that they released of like Javier Bardem
is going to be Frankenstein and Johnny Depp is going
to be the Invisible.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Man and they just gave up there, like no, we're
not going to do this, never mind.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Russell Crowe was a doctor Jackyll and mister Hyde.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Yeah. Yeah, they tried to reboot the Monsters didn't happen, and.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Then they gave it to Blumbhouse and they were like,
we'll do it, We'll take care.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
We got this no worse, no worse. All right, Well,
since we are kind of talking a little bit of
Mummy and horror, you did make it your annual trip
out to Spooky Empire this past did weekend? Yep? Yep.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I went to Spooky Empire. A lot of fun. It's
a horror convention right up my alley. I finished at
seventy two horror movies watching them on the October and so.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
They just pause for a second and take that. In
this man in the month of October somehow watched seventy
two horror movies. I don't know if I've watched seventy
two movies in my life.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
I think I finished at seventy four total movies watched
in the month of October.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
He seed in two non horrors, yeah, or the.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Two non judge Dread, which might actually be Some could
say it's a horror in some ways. In the new
Catherine big Olow movie A House of Dynamites.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Oh, I've heard mixed reviews on that one.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Two thirds of it's really good.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Okay, Hey, it's like that Fantastic four. We like. Jimmy,
please tell me it's not the first two thirds.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
No, no, no, it is the last it is the.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
Last okay, because that was the that was the problem
that the Fantastic four Yeah mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, fantastic for the second iteration yes with Kate Mara.
Yeah yeah, whatever one that was.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I think that's just fantastic for no the oh okay
for sure. But yeah, I just went to Spooky Empire,
went to a couple of panels.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
There. Had a lot of big names there.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Well, I mean the biggest name is the guy that
plays Art, the clown from the Terrifire franchise.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
That seems like a cultural phenomenon.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Had to line out the autograph room the entire time.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Wow, nice Nice.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Elvira had a very long line. Cassandra Peterson Legend Method
Band was there, also had a line because he's popped
up in some horror movies and raps about horror movies
as well.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Look, if you got a chance to jump on the
convention circuit, why not, you know.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
And Spooky Empire always is good about having musicians there because,
like I know, Phil and Samo has been there like.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Oh one year, I think Lee and I interviewed Carrie
King from Slayer.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
Yeah, I think Ace Freely god rest Is Saul even
did one.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Yeah, And they also had Chris Jericho there who also
kind of walks that line as well. He does, yeah crazy,
But they had the whole cast for a bunch of
the cast from It, the Children, from the IT movies,
a lot of the cast from Jason Goes to Manhattan.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
It's a great one. Was Kane Hotter there.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Kane Hotter was also there, Nice chop Top from Texas
Chainsaw to Bill Moseley who's also in a bunch of
the zombie movies. So it was a good time. I've
posted a bunch of the pictures of some great cosplays
that I saw.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
So yeah so at the Theme Park Podcast if you
want to see those photos.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
And we should give a public service announcements because we
have always talked about a specific lot when going to
the convention.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Because the biggest challenge when you go to the convention
is the parking. Yes, it is always the biggest challenge.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
And the dirt lot, which we always talk about.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
The dirt lot that was the one that was always
one that was always trude and tried and reliable when.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
It comes to convention parking. What is more important to you, guys,
cost or relative closeness to the actual event weather.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Oh if it's if it's super hot or rainy, and
depending on what costume I'm wearing, I will avoid parking
in the dirt lot, and I want some kind of covering,
so I will go for a garage. Yeah, because you
could take a lot of the skybridge.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
To get around, depending upon where you know, which convention
hall and all those other things.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
And also depends on traffic kind of around Yeah, the area.
Because now the thing that I learned is and we
kind of learned this when we talk about the next
thing that we did is Epic Universe is like kind
of right behind the convention center, so traffic patterns and
what not are a little bit different now.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Yeah. Yeah, it cost for me mostly because I get
lost no matter where I'm going, So I'm gonna walk away.
So anyhow, it doesn't matter where I park. I'm lost
in taking extra steps.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
But the thing we should say, the dirt lot has
been updated. They now have an app.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Now it's not paved, it is not paved, but we
have an app. See.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
The thing I always struggle with is I bring too
much crap with me into the convention or I buy
too much crap, and then I'm stuck carrying it.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
And now that I've been to Japan, I am so
spoiled with conventions because at the convention center in Japan
and actually everywhere in Japan, and I guess you couldn't
have this in America. They have lockers, like temporary rental
lockers like you'd have like at Disney or Universal, and
they're fairly inexpensive.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
That's cool. So it's like I would go buy.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
A bunch of stuff and then I would just go
stuff at a locker, or if I needed, I would
bring a bunch of stuff with me, so I would
like have my supplies with me, but then I would
just stuck a locker, so I was hands free all
day at the convention. It made my body last so
much longer because I didn't have to carry around, like,
you know, twenty eight pounds of stuff.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Yeah. And it's not like you can bring like say,
like a wagon or something you could drag, because it's
hard to get around this conventions.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
No matter what, people will still do it.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Yeah, people bring wagons around.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
People will still do it. Ye.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Yeah, if you know you're gonna get a lot, maybe
you can borrow my wagon.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
No, I'm not gonna bringing a wagon at the convention
is almost as bad as having like a two or
three wide stroller a Disney World.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
What about a shopping cart? What if he made part
of your cost play. I'm trying to think of Like
I think like an old wrestler like Raven used to
bring a shopping cart full of weapons down. Maybe you
could just do a Raven costplay and then you get
a shopping cart you can put all your stuff in that.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Well, I mean you could also be Art the clown.
I know you haven't watched the movie yet, but he
carries all of his stuff around in a trash bag.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
It's another app just get trash back.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Well, I will say very quickly. I went to when
I went to Halloween Hornet's the second time, I bought
a giant print of Lil Boo the Pumpkin and I'm like,
as I'm buying it, I'm like, hey, do you guys
do package pickup? Like I could just go get this
at the front of the park, and they're like, no.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
It's you, We're not Disney Pal. Get out of here.
Well they used to, Yeah, they used to.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
It was they do it only if you stay at
a hotel.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
A hotel.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Not that time, ah, not that, not that night yet.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
So it was a choice of what do I do.
I want to carry this around throughout the rest of
them that walked through houses, and what what did I do?
Walked all the way back to the parking garage and
walk all the way back.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
Oh that's rough.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
But I didn't want to carry it, and it was
a thing that I thought would sell out, so I
wanted to get it right then.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Yeah, okay, I get you.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
I feel you, I feel you, okay, yeah, because otherwise
that's a splinter in his mind's eye.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
The entire night, I would have left it and gone back,
and it would have been gone exactly or when he would.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Have forgot and then when it, like the event would
have been over, the store's closed.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
He would have gone.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
And when I went into the store there were only
three left. So it was very much I'm just going
to get this now. I will deal with the inconvenience
of walking back and forth.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
More importantly, did you find a space your wall, because
I know that's a very hard real estate for you gift? Okayo?

Speaker 2 (11:04):
But did I only got two prints at Spooky Empire?

Speaker 3 (11:09):
Okay? Only too?

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Only too, only too again because Wall real Estate is
at a premium inside of my house. Yes, but spooky
apart are great if you love horror movies, you love conventions,
it's a great time.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Ever, you're right around Halloween.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Yeah, and they had a giant I showed you, guys
the the powerloader from Aliens.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yeah that's awesome. Yeah, that's cool and it was it
worked right.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Yeah, you could get inside and yeah, do the thing.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
That's nice. All right. Well, we had an adventure last night.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
The three of us went to a theme park together.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
As invited guests of the media. I mean, this is
a Christmas miracle basically.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Yeah. We got invited to the preview of Illuminate at Aquatica,
which is their first ever nighttime lantern festival.

Speaker 3 (11:53):
And I did have a hard time wrapping my head
around what this was going to because I'm like, we're
at Aquatica, but you're not in the water, correct, And
that was the whole plan. And once you get there
and see it, you kind of understand it. I did
something I feel like it was a little similar when
I was up in Tennessee at Anaquista. It's a really
cool experience to walk through and experience all the lights

(12:14):
in the various sights and sounds.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Guests stroll through glowing walkways, discovering majestic animal lanterns, and
explore five immersive realms of light from six to ten.
Each realm features vibrant storytelling, interactive surprises, themed foods in
photo ready moments. During this event, pools and water slides
will pause operations.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Yes, so it's a dry event at Aquatica for the
first time.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Yes, there's no waterways that are open, No pools are open.
You're not gonna get wet. This is strictly looking at
Christmas lights, enjoying some cursious merriment and enjoying some seasonal treats.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
And you can picture with Santa.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
You can get a picture of Santa. It's not just
lights too like though. The first area went to was
that it was like the Bama Barrier suite was Yeah,
and the candy and it had the smell. We're trying
to figure out where the heck the smell, how you
got you got the smell going?

Speaker 2 (13:06):
That was the candy Cascade Falls, Yes, with giant gummy
bear guardians.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Yes, and if you want to get a visual of this,
we will have it uploaded for.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
You on on our Instagram right now on.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
The Instagram page. Yes, it's also in our Facebook story
if you want to watch.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
The theme Park podcast. I don't understand story still, but yes.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
There's a video of you pushing a button in lights dazzling.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Yeah, that's that was NAT. It's very interactive, Yeah, very interactive.
They have they have a couple of giant tube like
tunnels you go through. There's like a rainbow tunnel. Yeah,
like a rainbow tunnel. They had one. Yeah, it was
It was fun and they had a lot of different
foods there too.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Can we talk about the thing that captivated the three.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
Of us, you know it? It was really fun and
I do want to go back to that.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Was the bubbles with fog inside of them.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Oh yeah, we were like so amazed at the technology.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
What it's like thirty minutes just popping bubbles.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
What did Mikey Mayham call it? Uh, fobbles, fobble bubbles? Yeah,
I I he was. Yeah. I just like we're like,
how is this possible? What magic is this? What is this?

Speaker 4 (14:15):
If you're trying to figure out what we're talking about,
it's simply just the bubbles that you would normally blow,
but somehow they inject a little bit of like just
you know, fog. It's like a fog machine and a
bubble machine combined.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Together exactly like it was just going right.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
And when you get to the Chameleon, you'll know you're
there and just you pop one buttle bubble. You see
the smoke like dissipate in front of you and you're
just it becomes like an interactive's fidget spinner in the end,
the sky in front of you.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Did we get a good like visual video? Yes, it was.
It was a little dark. I didn't know if we
got a good like video. I got really display.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Scott has a really nice one in the like he
said on Instagram or in the Facebook real. But I
also have a video where I'm trying to do it
and then I turn to you and you pop one
right in front of your face and it just like dissipates.
And that's when Lauren was like, oh cool, that's when
she got what it was.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
That was the mist Wood Waters.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Mist Woodwaters.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Yeah, those were my favorite lanterns because they had a
lot of They had the macaws birds.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
Oh yeah, and the flamingos too.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Was a different area that was over by, that was
over by. The Serengetti train ride.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Okay, fair enough? Yes? Is that train run? Yes? Oh
it's just for children.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Children get on it.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
No, I think I could all get on. I don't
think I could get on it. I'm pretty sure we
come on that train just fall over.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
The Mini Sarrengetti Express Train invites the young and the
young at heart? Do you ride through a lantern safari
of lions?

Speaker 4 (15:48):
Does young at heart mean young immaturity? Because I want
to make sure that I'm qualified.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Jimmy, yell at me for trying to plan a thing
that a kid was on. You like, let the kid play.
I'm like, I am the kid.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 4 (16:00):
You were like stepping in this. This woman was trying
to take pictures of her daughter like they were there
for like five minutes. A kid was hogging the thing. Okay,
come on, I just.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Wanted to see I just wanted to take one video
of it. Just give me ten seconds, kid, Come on.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Should we talk about the other thing though?

Speaker 3 (16:17):
What's the other thing? The food?

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (16:19):
The food? Oh yeah we did. They gave us a
little punch cards. Yes, so they have punch cards that
you can purchase. Yeah, you can get five and ten
and reasonably priced.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Thirty five dollars for five. I believe it's sixty five
dollars for ten.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
We should mention the reasonable price of.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
The event too, is twenty five dollars.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
It starts at twenty five, but it does, you know,
with a lot of events. Yes, so you could spend
up to like I think the top end might have
been thirty.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Okay, so twenty five bucks. And parking is only fifteen
on these nights, correct, So that's nice too.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
So we I'm gonna see if I can remember this
off the top of my head. So the foods that
we tried.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
I know them off the top of my head.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
So I got you keraoky chicken, correct, ye? Which also
there they had conkortters, yes they did.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Which I tried to get dickerm into sample, but he
would not would Yeah, he claimed that he's tried conkorters
and doesn't care for them.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
I don't believe him. That might have been a lie.
I might have just wanted tarranky chicken.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
We know that you want to tarry.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
It was chicken fingers.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
So then we had s'mores that we madeores.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Yes, they you could buy a kit and make your
own smores. They had fire. They had fires all around.
You could sit around the fire and make it, you know,
assembly your s'mores and uh and cook them right there.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Jimmy and I roasted the molos ourselves.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
I have I have a video of you setting one
on fire.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
I very much did. I never made smores before. Oh
that's right, he had never made him before. That's that's
so crazy to me, Florida. It's not like this is
like a regular And I was like, I tried to
join the boy Scouts. They said no. So it's not
like I went camping ever in my life.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
So he had won a first in time experience out
there with that.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
That was so cute.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
I'm just want to hug Scott now.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
And then we got was it smores? Pizza was next?

Speaker 3 (18:08):
No, we got the meatballs.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Then it was the Christmas meatballs.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Correct with the cranberry sauce.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Correct. Those were very good.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Yeah, I enjoyed.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
It was very good. And then we got the Smorest pizza,
which if you're wondering what that is, it's exactly what
it sounds like.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
And don't try and share the Smorest pizza unless it's
like with a spouse or a girlfriend, because the three
of us trying to rip pieces off.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
Well, guy is like trying to cut it, and like
he finally gets a piece off after cut pizza, and
I just turned to dick around.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
I was like, just rip it. I don't care.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
But yeah, we should have just dug that.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
We looked like animals over there.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Pizza, and then we finished off with girl cheese.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Yeah that looked really good too. I did not have
with you guys, but it looked really good. Actually that
might have been was that the winner? Was that the
winner of the night.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
Well, it was two pieces of Texas toast that obviously toasted.
It had some I don't I didn't catch the particular
type of cheese, but it had an incredible amount of
garlic on it and it was fantastic.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
And then it had a tomato soup that you could
dip it.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
When you get a tomato soup dipper. Yeah, that's that's
a that's a deal maker right there.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
Yeah, there's nothing better than grilled cheese and tomato sauce
or tomato soup.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
It was delicious.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Yeah, that was that was a good one.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
But they also had like a spicy chocolate churros there.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
Had we not eaten so many sweets. I think I
wish we kind of would have waited for those churros
because those did look good. Yeah, because I want to
know the spicy.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
And we also had the They had empanadas there as well.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Yes, yes, at that yeah, at that one stand. Yeah,
so they had. They have a lot of food options
out there. They have a specialty coffee I think as well.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
And we also had they had a Christmas drink that
was like cranberry apple.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
It was cranberry pear, I thought, yes, which is very good.
It was a little bit of sparkling. I tasted in there.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
There was a little bit of sparkling there, some slight
non alcoholic, non alcoholic. Yeah. So yeah, it was cool,
It was fun. We appreciate the opportunity to go out there, and.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
You just see a world for inviting us out there.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Yes, we got to see our friend Lucy, Yes, who
works at Sea World but used to work with us
at I Heart for many years. Very much. So we
have friends everywhere. I feel like we got somewhere we
know somebody. I know. My wife yells at me all
the time. She's like everywhere we go. You know, somebody,
stop knowing so many people. It's not my fault. And
I'm anti social and to run in people all the
time and I'm like, I don't talk to anybody. How

(20:25):
do I know people?

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Yeah, that's the thing. Most of the time. I'll be
like I'll see somebody, it's like yeah, but I'm not
going to go up to them.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Yeah. But the other reaction is just high to just
go hide behind a rack somewhere.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
I already do that.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
Yeah, yeah, yes.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Although I remember I think the first time I went
to Epic, I like, I ran into a listener of
the podcast.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Oh yeah, well that's nice. Yeah, and you got to
talk to them.

Speaker 2 (20:47):

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
