Speaker 1 (00:00):
Say, jam In Morning Show with DJ fourn It's saw
t Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four
or five.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
It is not often.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
That I feel like I want to, you know, issue
a little bit of an apology. Oh, the internet is
always going to internet and we know that to be true. Right,
We could see something online and make this huge broad
thought process in our brains and just that's what it

(00:35):
is for us with a five second clip. I see
a five second clip of DJ Jewles doing something and
I'm like.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
I hate him.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
But that's what the internet does for sure.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yesterday we talked in length about Travis Hunter and you know,
he had just won the Heisman and his girlfriend and
this this back and forth between the two of them
and the internet. It's it's become obsessive. People are obsessed
sing over it. It's kind of hard to go on
ig and not see it. You might not know what
the hell it is and you might keep scrolling, but

(01:08):
you've probably seen a photo of him and or him
on a podcast, a podcast talking about him, a picture
of the girlfriends or fiance something.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Oh you've seen the video of the fiance just looking miserable.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yes, So just to give everybody a little baground in
case you weren't listening to the show yesterday. Travis Hunter,
Colorado star going to be an absolute stud in the NFL,
God willing, he's a Patriot, won the Heisman Trophy, and
there's a lot of controversy surrounding him and has nothing
to do with his on the field play. It has
to do with outside of football and his fiance. So

(01:40):
he plays his final game at Colorado, his last collegiate game,
and he's emotional, he's happy, he's sad, he's all the
things out comes the fiance. He goes to kiss her.
She won't kiss him. She's definitely upset about something. That
quick three second clip goes viral me outside. I don't
know who either one is. Okay, I'm just scrolling, scrolling,

(02:02):
scrolling what do they call it in our meetings?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Scroll?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Some be scrolling And I see this three second clip
and I'm like, she's a bitch, and that's so wrong
because I don't know, I don't know anything about it,
but that's what I watched it, and I was like, ugh.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
But I saw the same exact thing and I felt
the same way. She came off very bitch.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yes, all right, So fast forward, he wins the heisman.
Everybody stands up.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
She doesn't.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
She just sits down. Dion Sanders has to push her
and say get up. That moment goes viral, So now
she's oh for two. When we're talking with the internet,
the internet is like this is Then a clip of
her explaining why he wasn't her type originally gets out
because now people are doing deep dives into them and
their their history and who she is and the rules

(02:48):
that they have as a couple and all this stuff,
and that little clip goes viral of her saying that
he wasn't her type. People don't like that, and everybody's
talking about her. People can't stop. Whether you're against her
or for her. She is a big time topic of conversation.
So he and it came out towards like the end
of the show goes on. He live streams, he loves

(03:11):
video games, and he actually like had a little bit
of an attitude.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
He was pissed.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
He's like, you know, you guys got to stop talking
about her. Like most of the people that talk about her,
you don't even have a girlfriend, you don't even have
a life. You need to get a life, leave us alone.
She's my fiance. She is not going anywhere. You know,
when she's hurting, I'm hurting. When she's upset, I'm upset.
It's not good in that house. Right now. You can
tell she's she's hurting. Fast forward, guys, she doesn't sit down,

(03:39):
and she starts out by saying, I spoke to Travis.
He gave me the go ahead on this. I need
to address some things. She gets emotional and she breaks
down each event, So come with me on this journey.
Let's start with Leanna explaining her comments about how when
she originally met Travis Hunter, he was not her type.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
So Travis, when he first ever DM me when we
first met, I said I left him my DM for
two months. And people said, oh, she left him in
his DM until she figured out who he was.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
That is not true at all.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
The real reason Travis said in my DM for two
months is because he dan me when he had a
girlfriend and her name was in his bio, so I
instantly knew he had a partner. So I exidently, I
date people for who they are as a person, how
they honor God, and how they treat the people around them.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
And Travis is all the above.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
So when I said he wasn't my type, I met
because he was younger than me. I had never dated
no one younger than me, and he had cheated on
his girlfriend. I don't know if your type is cheaters,
but mine isn't. So no, he wasn't my type at
first off of those two things, but that didn't discredit
the fact that I was attracted to him. That's obviously
why I gave him a chance. And then I learned

(04:53):
he truly is a phenomenal and wonderful human being, and
that's why I worked together, and that's why we're still
together to this day.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
So this is the beginning of the video. There's definitely
a little bit of tue there. She's like, I don't
date cheaters. I don't know about you, Like I'm not
sold on her yet.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
I mean, she has an attitude, but she's saying the
right things, like she's like the man.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Slid into my DMS trying to talk to me and
had his girl's name and his.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Profile, Like yeah, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
That sucks because the internet is claiming you didn't want
him at first because you didn't know who he was
and what he was doing. In the football side of things.
Once you realize that's when you wrote him back. And
she's like, that's not the case.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I think because you can easily google.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
She saw there was a football picture up there. Stop,
this is her. Now.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
There was a separate incident post him winning the Heisman.
He has signed like a massive deal with Adidas. He's
doing a big client event. We've done them sign You
know how it is. You're shaking hands, you're chick chatting,
you're doing all the things.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
And he was doing that.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
He was taking pictures with fans, he was taking pictures
with employees at Adidas, and the camera quickly pans to
her and she goes, do I have to just sit here?

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Internet did not like that.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Here she is explaining, people are saying that, I'm like,
what am I supposed to do to sit here? That's
not what I said. First of all, I said, baby,
do you want me to sit here? Or do you
want me to go with the family or do you
want me to come with you? Because what y'all don't
know again off of a seven second clip, is those
weren't fans. By the way, he had already finished that part.
He had finished meeting with the fans. I was there

(06:21):
the entire time, taking pictures, talking to them everything. Those
the girls that were there, they were the Adida They
worked for Adidas, So we were taking pictures for a
social post. That's who those people were. I wasn't annoyed
with no fans at all. I'm never annoyed with fans.
So that's what that was. And then Travis was getting
ready to leave. He had to be at a rehearsal

(06:43):
for the highsan ceremony. They had a new walkthroughs and
stuff like that. So I was asking him, was like,
do you want me just to sit here? Do you
want me to go buy to the hotel? Like do
you want me to wait for our family? Because our
family his family was in their shopping.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
So there's this narrative also being pushed because in an
inner you, Travis Hunter basically says that he doesn't like
to take pictures with any females if his girl isn't
around and can't see, kind of lending to that she's
a crazy person and she doesn't want him taking pictures
with female fans.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Wow, that's a big red flag.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Well if that's true, And again I think but her
point here is like it was a seven second clip.
You only saw one thing, but I didn't even get
to finish what I was saying, which was, do you
want me to sit here?

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Because if we do, you want me to sit here? Right?
Do you want me to sit here?

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Or do you want me to go with you? Or
do you want me to go with your family?

Speaker 1 (07:31):
It changes it her perspective, And I understand this because
my wife feels like just the same way at times.
She doesn't want to come to these events because she
doesn't know if she should, you know, just be in
here or go here. So it's like, I understand, and
I feel bad for her.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Yeah. So in that scenario, are you the guy that
just wont the heisman? Are you that popular? I'm trying, I.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Don't know, work events and stuff like that. Yeah, this
interest to me.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Sorry, that was crazy all right.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Now Here she is talking about the Heisman ceremony because
remember he wins eisman.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
His mother gets up, Diane gets up, Little Wayne gets up,
everyone so excited. She's seated.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
When his name was called, I instantly was gonna give
you watch the video you can see me like, but
his mom didn't get up, So I was like, oh,
maybe I don't get up, Maybe I just sit.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Here with her. So he sat there and then.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
And then y'all said, Coach Crime had to tell me
to get up.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
No he didn't.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
He said go get him, go.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Get your man like and once Travis stood up, But
he didn't have to do that because I was gonna
do that anyway. As soon as I seen Travis get up,
then I thought it was appropriate to stand up, greet him,
congratulate him. But then there was a camera right in
front of Coach Crime, and I knew they were gonna
film that moment. And because of how people are online,
I was like, I don't want to be in that shot,

(08:47):
so I'm gonna sit down. But I wanted the moment
to be about him and his family. And that's another thing.
People are like, why did he sit next to her?
Why was his mom? We had assigned seats, We had
assigned seats. I didn't have a choice where I said, because.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
There was also a narrative being pushed like how come
she took the seat next to him? His mother should
have sat next to him that and which is, by
the way, it's weird to me.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
No, I'm gonna sit I'm gonna sit next to my husband,
like what I think that one?

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yeah, that one. I apologize to her. I took the narrative.
On the other end, I was like the Internet. But
here's the thing, though, I don't think they're ready for
the league. I don't. I don't think they're ready for
the fame. I don't think they're ready for the publicity.
I don't think they're ready for for any of it. Now,
if they do make it, I think it's important for
them to stay out of the comments.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
He is going whatever team he goes to, he is
going to get a talking to. Because even last night
he was on Chat again and people were kind of
saying to him, oh, you date a white girl, you
date a white girl, and he was like, it's it's
twenty twenty four. I shouldn't even have to say this.
Race shouldn't matter, Like I can date a white girlf one,
but she's not white, she's mixed.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Like he's answering these people.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
He's explaining, once he's once he's in the NFL done,
they're gonna be like, get off Chat, but I.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Don't want you. But he's not there yet, and so
I think he's learning.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
I also don't know if he's the type of person
that's gonna get off because he loves playing video games,
he loves being like.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Yeah, but but but he's gonna have to turn the
mic off.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
He has to.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Yeah, he can't, he can't be dealing with these.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Is evil, but it's also so much fun because before
this it was like she's awful.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
It's like, wait, is she?

Speaker 2 (10:21):
I know?

Speaker 3 (10:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
I felt when when she started getting emotional about the Heisman,
because again she is being painted as this like nasty villain,
and anytime she gets posted.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
If the comments are all red flags, everyone's.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
Like, leave her, get rid of her. It's not gonna last.
All of the things, it's not gonna last. This thing
is doomed. Yeah, but not because she's a bad person,
just because not ready for Yes, I.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Thought we were gonna be just learning about their relationship.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
But to know that Santi puts himself at the caliber
of a person that has won the Heisman and might
be the number one pick in the NFL draft.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Talk about putting yourself on a pedestal headache,
