Speaker 1 (00:00):
Especially in the Gym and Morty show with DJ fourn
It's Santy when you need.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
To know, we got you three things you need to
know on Boston's number one for hip hop and the
best throwbags.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Do you haven't any more?

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Five Thursday, Jan nine.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
There was a time period last year where we were
doing the show live and Santi was getting a.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Tattoo as we did the show. I remember the guy had.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
A cool name, ast or Alistair Alistair. I think his
name was like that. Yeah, it was on your thighs.
Amazing work too.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
I actually got one done here. Then I went down
to the shop right down the street, so.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
From Boston Tattoo Company. They have a new location on
Newberry Street. The owner is Jason. Jason was also in
here during the time. Jason and I actually had lengthy
combo about me wanting to rid myself of some of
my tattoos, like the one that looked like a three
year old blindfolded did it with a highlighter.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
That's neither here nor there. Now.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
I would say that when it comes to being obsessive
with celebrities, you and I are.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Were bad, but we're bad with it.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Forns like doesn't really care and then there's Jason, the
owner of Boston Tattoo Company, who there's like could care less.
And then Jason, we text Jason like, oh my god,
you gotta come on, we need to talk about this.
Zendaya and Tom Holland Spider Man was in your tattoo shop.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
He goes, I mean, I don't really know what you
guys want me to say.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Hi, Jason, good morning.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
You know what I want you to say?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Oh, you had the biggest movie star ever right now
inside your tattoo shop.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Yeah, yeah, exactly. You know, we did realize exactly how
big this would be up until a couple of days
ago when we had GMZ calling the shop. And I
don't know where they get their information. They should work
for the government because they do stuff that we barely
told each other. So it's been pretty amazing last couple
of days.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
So all right, a couple of things.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Number one, you know, they just got engaged over the holiday.
In secret, she goes to the Golden Globes and I
guess at the Globes that's where people spotted that she
had already gotten the tattoo.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
When did this happen? Like weeks ago?

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Yeah, this actually happened back in November. So it happened
when they were in Town's filming for a movie. They
had been all over Boston, or at least being like.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Yeah they were, they were. They were on Newberry Street
a ton, So damn it happened in November. It makes
sense because she wore this beautiful dress of the globe.
Somebody spotted that you had the little tea. Everybody says
they're so down to earth, and then I hear that
when they came into your tattoo shop. It was like, hey,
do you have time to squeeze us in today? It
wasn't even like a worsen day and Tom Holland give

(02:34):
us a tattoo.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
They were chill to wait.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Exactly they are? They came in, and it actually took
us a few minutes to figure out who exactly they were?
Was it until one of the other people were in
the store. Was the ones I recognized them because they
were just you know, they were not in gowns or
yeah just a spider man or anything else like that.
They just like two normal people. They came in and
it was like, hey, can we help you? You know,
and they're like looking for tattoos. And it took a

(02:57):
little while before we realized what was actually going on.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Well, since they've been in there, like have you thought yourself, Okay,
now I have to go check out some of their work,
Like did you watch Dune?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Well yeah, you know, we we I mean I've seen
doing before. I knew exactly. Thank god, we're just because
of a huge movie Boston.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Thank God.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
We were like yeah, so, uh no, it was really cool.
You know, it was like they it wasn't even just one.
It's like they're like a power couple. So yeah, you know,
between him him and in her roles, it was just
like wow, you know, so you know, they they they
asked us, you know, they kind of keep it down,
so you know, of course we did. And we never
really mentioned anything until like it's like you said, until

(03:38):
the award showed, and it was like kind of just
got kicked all back up. So I know something that
everybody in the shop knew.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You gay, I was gonna say, you guys, if it
happened in November, y'all really kept it under wraps.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
I'm sure they appreciated that.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
And now I'm wondering timeline wise, who knows, maybe they
were engaged back then and we I mean because everyone
was saying over the holidays, but maybe they were engaged then,
and they were they were just keeping in a seat,
you know. I mean, getting a tattoo of the other
person's initial is something I would think you would.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Wait to do until you're at least engaged.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
It's also the kiss of death.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Yeah. Well, I'm not gonna speculate as to what they got.
I'm just gonna say, you know, I'll leave it for
everybody else to figure out what it is that they did.
You know, but they were the one thing I could
say is that they were joking around to make sure
that one of their tattoos was that bigger than the other,
which was kind of funny.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
That is hilarious.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah, if we're doing this, we're each getting the same size.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
I gotta ask, did they pay full price? So did
you guys give them a discount?

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Well if they didn't ask for a discount, but you know,
they were the two of them, so we did cut
them a brake. Yeah. Yeah, it's funny because that's what
everybody seems to mention about. The discount though, was like
nobody asked for the discount. It was just something that
we did because we were we were excited to have them.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yeah, I mean not everybody a Canonna tattoo shop and
be like, oh yeah, no, Spider Man came in and
got a Z tattooed on his rib, so you know.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
That's pretty good.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Yeah, And that was kind of the hardest part, was
like not telling anyone that they were there, you know.
So yeah, like we were all, you know, all telling
each other about it, but it was, you know, past that,
it was like we actually all kind of forgot about
it until I mean I was literally watching the TV
when uh, they came up and they started showing the
tattoo and I didn't even put two or two together
until you know, the next day, and all of a sudden,

(05:17):
it was just like call after call at the call.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
So, well, listen, you have a really cool gig.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
You get to, you know, meet these all these celebrities
and they get their tattoos and everything.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
I'll like, I'll let you go with this last question.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Having met like one of the biggest movie stars, two
of the biggest movie stars, and obviously then Santi Diolio.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Celebrity wise, who.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Would you like, Tom Holland or Santi Diolio which one
made you a little bit more nervous to to tattoo Jason.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Thanks for the call. Yeah, like Zendia, I've done Tom
holland Santi from.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Gym dropping names there.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
And the funny thing is that they didn't recognize the
both of them until a while into the session, you
know what I'm saying. Which problem for them two was
like we love this. Ain't nobody like Gulk and all
of us were just two regular people.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
If you're wondering, they each got the respective person's small
letter on there.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
So one has a Z, one has a tea.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Again, I can stomach that. But if they I love that.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
They were just walking and they're like, all right, let's
pop in.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Didn't make an appointment anything, and if they did make
an appointment, they couldn't make it under their real names.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
So that's very true. But I respect the fact that
he's trying to be like hush about this whole thing,
because that like so he was, I.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Mean, I can happen in November. We're just hearing.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
About it now. He's not trying to give too much
of the details out too. Yeah, yeah, that's how you
want to shop.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Love that all right? Is this true?

Speaker 2 (06:39):
About Ditty catching some feelings toward fellow inmate Luigi the
CEO Killer.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Listen, there's this.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
There's a quote insider for the Daily Mail that's told
them that Diddy's been throwing tantrums over the fact that
quote Luigi is getting far more attention in prison and
is being revered as a hero after literally murdering some
one on camera. They said, even in prison, did he
has a ego that's bigger than life?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
If you go buy the stories about like Diddy's brand,
it makes sense that he's getting pissed because he wants
all the attention in prison.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
I could see maybe the like, I mean, you're saying
that I did this, this, this, this, and this is
a freak off, but you don't have videos. You don't
have a video of the freak off. Look what this
guy did on camera, and you guys love him, you know,
kind of that attitude. But I'm not buying this.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Neither is. But the jokes do right themselves in this case.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, by the way, Luigi is in seclusion. He's in isolation,
and Didd he's in gen pop elated, elated. We'll leave
it at that, all right, Let's go to La the
National Guard has officially been called in La is legit
on fire, you guys, parts of SoCal ashes. As we
wake up this morning, over two thousand structures reduced to

We're just out there and the winds are working against
any help that California is getting eighty to one hundred
mile per hour winds meaning those fires are spreading football
field links in seconds.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
It is.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
It's one of the craziest things we've ever seen. The
devastation in LA it'll be one of the craziest ones
in history if you select bodies that have lost their home.
Adam Brody, Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Eugene Levy, Paris Hilton.
We talked about Spencer and Heidi.

Speaker 1 (09:08):

Aaronbnb dot org right now is offering free emergency homes
for people impacted by the wildfires. Plant Fitness is trying
to home some people. The hotels are just inundated with people.
It's it's crazy. And we were fortunate enough this morning
to talk to a guy that actually used to intern here.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
His name is Anthony Flora, as he goes by Anthony Bonvida.
He's a filmmaker out there yet he interned for us,
but he's out there live. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
We'll check in with him about an hour just to
see how things are going. There's three things you need
