Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake it up, people, wake eat up. Hi, everybody happy
Tuesday election day?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Oh? Here in massive race? Is it here?
Speaker 1 (00:11):
Yeah? Okay it's mayor got stiff competition.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Nobody right zero people see I live in New Hampshire,
so we don't vote.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
I get it to Yeah that's fine.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah. Sorry, Yeah, so there's that.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
What's up? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:25):
What's up? So my son is fifteen. He has to
take drivers at he starts I think next month. Why
do you cry?
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yes, to a two hour class about this. It was
the biggest waste of my time Monday night.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Do a better job explaining all of the parents had
to go to a two.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Hour like seminar orientation with the kid without the so wow.
So there was one part. So you had to go
in there with all the paperwork, the bus to they
get the proof of age and all these things, handing that.
Then sit down and that's important. That part's important. But again,
could have done that at any time through well, we
didn't have to do it last night right now at seven,
(01:07):
could have been done at three o'clock in the afternoon
Monday through Friday or nick and day or a window. Right.
So then we sit down and it's run by a family,
and they really they seem really nice. Driving and teaching
people how to drive is their life. They love it. Right, Great,
that's all good. But I don't need to know about
(01:30):
the website and walk me through the website and how
to schedule stuff. I mean, we're all pretty intelligent. We
can figure out how to schedule, like how to book
certain classes and stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Most people your age specifically can maneuver a website.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yes, yeah, So why do I have to spend an
hour on the website. I don't need to spend an
hour on that thing. I already with my eyes figured
out where to go where it says schedule a time
for class. So whatever the tab was.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
I've gotten to the point in my life like, well,
even if we have meetings here and it's something that
I already know how to do, I start to feel anxious,
like I don't want to be in here. I know
what I'm doing, I know where to click.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
And then we watched a twenty minute video on teenage drivers,
which I thought was valuable and it was interesting and
it would like.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Were they doing up there?
Speaker 2 (02:13):
They were just doing teenager stuff and all the stuff
that I used to do as a team behind the wheel,
which is dangerous. Yeah, that I appreciate. But I've also
communicated this stuff to my son, telling him the stuff
that I used to do was really irresponsible and I'm
lucky I'm still alive. So all that, and then at
the end we go through, uh, I forget what the
end part, but I'm like, again, this can be captured
(02:35):
in an email. I do not need to be here
for two hours on a Monday night.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Or what they can do is they can send an
email out with a video of them giving the seminar
and people could watch it that way. I don't Yeah,
you don't need to physically be there.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
The last part was them walking through a checklist of
conversations that have with your kids. I'm like, if you're
teaching me to be a parent about uh okay, talking
to police, how to respectfully talk to police when they
pull you over, because the police will like you.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Just had that happen because you can by experience, and.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
I've been talking to him about this stuff. Like, but
my point was that at the end of that, like,
if you're teaching me to be a parent at drivers,
then there's a bigger problem going on with my family
that like dynamic.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Did you get to chip chatting with some of the
other parents.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
I knew something the other parents in there because they're
from town, so but you really didn't. It was like
really quick because we were in class.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Anybody say, oh uh, what car is your could given
me driving? Did you guys get into that?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
No, it's it's it's yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
So is.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Colin driving like a ghetto car in comparison to what some.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Other cars everybody's driving the car that drives Well, I'll
leave it at that. There's no like these cars aren't
breaking down.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
I can't driving. Audi and mister Smith from down the
street was like, we're going Tesla show and you need
to know.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
We got you three things you need to know on
Boston's number one for hip hop and the best throwbacks.
You haven't any more five.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Tuesday, November fourth, and you can get on out there
and vote today. People sign you. You know you can't
because you're a New Hampshire resident. But here in Massachusetts,
Mayor Wu is running unopposed, so yeah, anyway, eight candidates
are running for four at large seats. In addition, most
(04:33):
individual districts have more than one candidate running for like
district specific seats. I think we've talked about this in
length on the show. The most important thing you can
do is exercise your right to vote, and really the
big changes start at the local level, So get on
out there and vote. Registration residence can check for registration
(04:55):
on their local websites for their statuses. The polls are
going to open at seven they'll close at eight pm.
If you can't find your local polling station and all
that other information how to vote, where you go to
vote with time, you can check out the city's website.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
That's right. My kids don't have school today because of
election day, but I don't know what they're voting for
because in our town there's no mayor. There's like a
management team thing.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
So the management team the management team of Hollis, but
they have like a town manager.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
I believe, Yeah, well is the may Marshfield? That's not you.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Definitely would have I have no idea. Can I google that?
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Probably they probably live right next door to you. They've
been inside there.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
A dude, come on, is there a may And I'm like,
I'm well, is there a mayor of Marshfield?
Speaker 2 (05:45):
I feel like Marshfield is given town manager vibes.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Same but we're stopping down for this now because no,
we don't have a mayor all right, because it's its
own town, not a city. Instead, it has an executive
branch as and the select Board, which consists of three
elected members. The select Board works with a town administrator,
a paid an appointed position.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
I feel like you can try.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
That's why. Because it's not a city town, I.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Think you need to be on that board.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
I gotta get on that board. I gotta I gotta
make some decisions from Massfield. All right, let's talk about
Joanna Brown, thirty years old, missing in Wooster. This story
is unfortunately starting to take what's I'm gonna go ahead
and call a scary turn because the Wooster Police Department
(06:35):
found an SUV that matched her exact description. They found
it in a parking lot outside of the Green Hill
Towers on Mount Vernon Street. I never feel good when
you have a missing person and they put the white
tent over the car so you can't see what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I agree.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Something about that scares me. I don't know what they
found in that car. I can tell you that after
they were searching the wooded area around the car. But
if you haven't been following this story. Joanna Brown, thirty
years old, works at the bean counter. She's been working
there for years. She was last seen around nine am
(07:15):
last Friday. She told her boss she had to leave
work early for a family emergency. Saturday, she knows shows.
Her boss is like, she's never done that. Sunday, her
family calls the police. Something is off. She's missing. Now
fast forward, here we are, it's Tuesday. They recover her vehicle,
they put the tent up, they're doing something. They're looking
(07:36):
in the wooded area, and we still don't have any answers.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
You're so right, though, Why put the tent up if
there's nothing like?
Speaker 1 (07:42):
It scares me to think what they found in there.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Yeah, and then they're looking in the woods. I know, Holp,
this turns out different.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Ever good when they're shielding our view. Yeah, I do too.
But it's like even this morning, we're not hearing anything.
Is she alive? What did they find in that vehicle?
Speaker 2 (07:57):
And you know, I like the other scary part too.
She's been listen since Friday nights.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
And she's just thirty years old, and she said, Friday
morning's on it. She went to work. She works at
a coffee shop. She went in early in the morning
so that she had a family emergency got out of there.
So I don't know. I don't feel good about it
because that, you know, them checking the wood. I don't know.
It's not good. But yeah, as soon as we get
some more answers, I'll keep you posted. But this is
there's like a consistency here. I mean, we just had
(08:22):
a missing girl a couple of weeks ago, now, yes.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
And I think what happens is the public latches onto
these stories and sometimes they turn off bad, but like
the minute they get on, like the good thing about
it is that people pass along the information and there's
a better chance of people being found safe for sure.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
And it's it's tough to say this, but you always
just hope that they found somebody online and they chasing love,
you know what I mean, And they don't didn't think
people would agree as opposed to the to the other thing.
All right, And lastly, let's talk about the Celts. The
Celts fell to the Jazz one oh five, but one
oh three, putting them at three and five to start
(08:59):
the season. It's a tough goal. But listen, last night,
I don't get this often from JB Jalen Brown is
very composed. He knows how to speak to the press.
But he got tripped last night and he was passed.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
Man, y'all, don't get me fines because you can't make
you can't have a mistake like that as an official
at that point in the game, this fourth quarter, it's
a minute left in the game or less, and you
completely the whole stab blows goal, you know what I mean,
caused us a game like unacceptable. He's gonna make mistakes
at any point at a game, but right there that
(09:34):
was that wasn't That wasn't good. That wasn't good. It's unacceptable.
And then they're telling me like, oh, like we didn't
see it, Like none of you see it. You can't
trip somebody in the fourth quarter and then just be
a no.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Call, dropping f moms, dropping f moms. He was upset.
He doesn't do he doesn't do that often, but he's upset.
I mean, they could have won a game. He ain't
even tripping on.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Good thing is he can afford the fine that he's
gonna get.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
He's gonna be okay. Yeah, he's definitely gonna be okay.
Selter back in action tomorrow night against the Wizards. That
is three things you need to know for Tuesday, November
the fourth. Look at us cruising already Tuesday November fourth,
don't forget to catch up on last week's show and
yesterday via the podcast. It's just the easiest way for
you to find uts down the free iHeartRadio app and
(10:20):
search a s h L. Doubly come on.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Dashi Morning show.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
Good Morning, Boston's number one for hip hop jam in
ninety four or five.
Speaker 6 (10:34):
Got an issue in apology, Oh oh, doesn't happen often
that he tuned in.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
It's one of my friends, Vanessa. So Vanessa was over
my house for Halloween for trick or treating, and we're
walking around and she goes, yeah, I'm doing the switch switch.
Have you heard of it?
Speaker 2 (10:58):
No?
Speaker 1 (10:59):
I said, what is the switch witch? And she explains
to me that the switch witch is a thing that
parents are doing with little children. And what happens is
after trick or treating, the kids come home and they
lay out all their candy on the table and the
kids get to pick a few pieces, and then they
load up the rest of the candy and they put
it outside of their home and a witch comes and
(11:24):
she takes all the candy and leaves a toy or
some sort of gift for the kid in the place.
And she's telling me this, and I'm like, I wanted
to hold her child. I felt so bad for her kids.
I was like, damn, they're gonna get four snickers and
then the rest of these eighty thousand pieces have to
go outside to the switch witch. This is so sad.
(11:44):
I feel so sad for him that he's not gonna
be able to experience like having a bucket of candy.
And she's like, no, he's getting an advent calendar. He's gone,
I love it. I was like, but you can try
to who's trying to convince who? She's probably listening right
(12:04):
now in her kitchen mad as hell. I was like,
who's trying to convince who that that the switch witch
is a good thing. My apology is that maybe she
was onto something?
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Why?
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Because my gut is growing as we speak. I can't
say no to that from behind candy. I can't say
no to that bucket I came to last night. I
was on my six fun sized kick cat. I can't stop.
If the if the candy is in the house, I'm
eating it. I am not mentally tough when it comes
(12:40):
to that. So I don't keep things in a house
like that because if it is there, I'm putting it
in my stomach. So now my stomach is becoming a
donut hole of literal candy. I can't story, I can't,
I can't.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
What if you do the switch witch, and the switch
witch comes and puts the candy somewhere where you can
find it because she's supposed to take it. I assume
that's the whole thing back to which Land. Yeah, but
what if she leaves it by accident and then you're
stuck with all the candy?
Speaker 1 (13:07):
No, I think the whole point is. Listen, the switch
witch takes the candy and either you keep it as
the parents and you guys get to eat it so
that the kid's not eating all the candy. Are you
catching this? Yeah, no, I understand, or you take it
to your job or something, you know, which is what
I want to do. Yeah, But the switch which is real, well,
I think the switch which is she's gone now, like
(13:27):
they're back in Salem. So now what am I supposed
to do? Because I have two full buckets. Last night
I was digging so deep into that bucket. I couldn't
see my hands anymore, and I was like, all right,
you need help, you need to stop. You need to
stop now couldn't stop.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Why not just take out a few pieces and throw
them away because you know you're going to be in
the bucket like next year.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Because she will then Like how do I handle that
with her? Because she's gonna come up and be like.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Who Candy's gone? Like you only get a few pieces
of candy or like five or only that.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
I only let her have one a day from the bucket.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yeah, but if you spread her mother, her mother's big
mind cannot stop.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Like I let her have one. Like last night she
asked for her one thing in her bucket was a
fun sized milky Way. She took one bit of the
milky Way and was like, I'm done. I'm like, where's that?
Where is that in? Your mother? Because it's not I
ate the rest.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
You know, it's crazy though, you saying that you're sitting me.
You have the same thing with alcohol, you just can't
have the one seriously, have ten? I know, real problem,
Like you're not just satisfied with a little.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Bit, No, I want to forget.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
And same with ice cream. Too.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Yeah, damn, what do I talk to about this?
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Like you're like you're leaning towards food.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
No I've heard of the like the food noise thing.
I've heard people talk about food noise. That bucket is
whispering to me, come get me, put your hand all
the way down to the bottom. There's the reasy bucket
you like, I can't no, it's like it's actually really bad.
So I was wondering if anybody else did the switch,
(15:04):
which how one would handle six one seven nine three
one five. I felt bad for that kid. Now I
have respect for her. Sorry, guys, Hi, everybody, good morning.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
By the way.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
I love I love how everybody's on their high horse
and nobody wants to call. No parents want to call
and admit that their hands are in that candy bucket.
But me, well, who I got one DM from a
girl and she's like ash that bucket calls to me
at two am and it's Skittles being like, come get
me girl.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
That's because the other parents have already devoured like all
the candy.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
Like, guys, yeah we didn't. We're not partaking in these buckets,
Yeah we are. It's getting a little out of control
in my house yesterday in my hand, I was like,
all right, TwixT a couple of TOUTSI rolls two kit cats.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Oh my god, I thought there's more.
Speaker 1 (15:51):
Than the remainder of her milkey wig. Like. I'm definitely
at a full size I'm at a full size bar,
and now we gotta stop. I'm going to try to
limit myself. I gotta get rid of this cant again.
I'm the first to admit when it comes to food,
if it's in the house, I'm not mentally tough, like
I will eat.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
It for me. It's chips if those are in the house.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
No, yeah, I know you're a chip guy.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
So I dump them out and the whole family gets punished.
And I think that's what you have to do.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
I try so much to I can't do. I guess
I could get I could bring some of it in here,
like daily, but I don't want to. I should. I
gotta get tough for like I shouldn't do that.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
I'm okay, She'll be fine. She'll forget about it in
a day.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
You're gonna forget about that that bucket. Halloween was three
days ago. She's gonna forget about that bucket. I just
have to be better.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
She'll still have fun in life, right life, They'll be good.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Her life is over, her life will be over. I
should have done that, stupid switch witch, because now I
can't stop eating many twigses.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Damn ninety four to five traffic. We are looking good
on four ninety five southbound from ninety three all the
way down to the Pike, Ruthree southbound, looking good from
Nashwood down to the Burlington Mall and the especially north.
We're still looking good from a brain tree up to
south By.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Now people are sending me pictures of them eating their kids.
Candies we got. I had a lady to send me
full size bag, so respect. Nobody wanted to call admitute.
But the messages are coming in heavy.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
I'm not judging, but I'm judging. But isn't that a problem.
If it's six fifty five and you pound a bag
of Eminem's in your car, I.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Could easily do it. There are there are milky ways
in this studio right now, and I'm like, it's just but.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
I'm just saying, grab an egg and cheese. Onisanto.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Here we go, the pillar of health come back to
like reality for a little bit, for a second. No
you're breakfast, not missing. I get what you're saying, but
don't act. Get up the hie horse. Don't know if
you haven't had a kick cat at six am.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Before in here yesterday.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Please thank you, but that was yesterday Today.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
Show and you need to know. We got you three
things you need to know on Boston's number one for
hip Hop and the Best Throwbags.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Tuesday, November fourth, and we're just seeing breaking news. Dick Cheney,
the Conservative who became one of the most powerful and
polarizing for some Vice presidents in US history, a leading
advocates for the invasion of Iraq, has died at the
age of eighty four years old. He died Monday night
(18:22):
due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease.
According to a statement from his family, They said for decades,
Dick Cheney served our nation, including as White House Chief
of Staff, Wyoming's Congressman, Secretary of Defense, and Vice Presidents
of the US. Dick Cheney was a great and good
man who taught his children and grandchildren to love our
country and to live lives of courage, honor, love, kindness,
(18:43):
and fly fishing. We are grateful beyond measure for all
Dick Cheney did for our country, and we are blessed
beyond measure to have loved and been loved by this
noble giant of a man.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
If you've ever seen the movie Vice, his story is
pretty interesting. It's played by Christian Bale. That movie's really good.
It tells his entire life.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
What would you say stands out in the movie.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Just all the different positions he's had within government. He's
had some of the most important positions the entire way through.
And it also dives into September eleventh and how at
one point he was in command of the country and
gave the okay to shoot down any passenger jets that
were still up in the air because they thought they
were more terrorists.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Up there and they were worried.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Yeah, yeah, they definitely were. So the movie is really good.
And then you go back to him and story's about
him like he's had heart attacks. He one time got
shot by a shotgun while hunting and.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
He lived that long eighty four years old. Cheney man, No,
he has quite a story to tell. And you know,
I think the number one thing when I think Dick Cheney,
I really do think about somebody who just loved America,
like just loved our country so much, speaking of our
country in his election day, and people are out in
a boat, they're getting their votes. In Mayor wu is
(19:55):
running unopposed. There, you have that eight candidates are running
for four at large seats. In addition, most individual districts
do have more than one candidate running for like a
district specific seat. Residents can get voting starting at seven am,
So the polls are now open. They're going to close
at eight pm. If you're somebody who's like ash, I
(20:16):
want to get out there. I don't know where my
polling location is. If you need to look that up
and your online voter registration status, you can do that
through the city's website.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
How can may or like, how is she unopposed? It
was there was Jonathan Kraft, but he dropped out, and I, yeah,
I guess like she's just like a shoeing to win
unless you're unless you're actually.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
I don't know what years, I haven't said a word, nothing,
I've said nothing.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
All right.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Lastly, guys, blueface out of jail, really out of jail
and son within less than twenty four let me let
me back back within less than two hours of this
man being out, we got drama with who do you think?
Who do you think? We haven't said her name in
a while. By the way, as soon as he got out,
(21:04):
he posted on social media, still that guy. Two years later,
he had been serving a four year sentence since jan
of twenty twenty four. He started a total of twenty
one months. Did he's getting out early after reading that
both of his parents had teased that their son would
be coming home, that he was going to be coming
home soon, and they in fact, we're not lying. But yeah,
(21:25):
I mean, listen, the first thing he wanted to do
was be with his kids. Jaden, the one mother of
some of his children, and Krishan have never gotten along.
Krishan rolls to bring the baby to the arcade where
he is hanging out with Jaden's kids, and then Jaden
threatened to come and essentially beat up Krashon for being
there because she doesn't want her kids around Kshean can't
(21:46):
say I blame her there, And it's just I mean,
the man, he just surrounds himself with crazy. I don't
know what to say.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
That he loves it, that this is how he thrives.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
I think so and like if he if he doesn't
like literally take a step back and be like, I
need to get my things together in order. He's going
to go back.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
But wouldn't this be the one situation where everybody can
get a lie and understand he's fresh out of jail.
Let's have all the kids together, somebody.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
See that's what he wants, right, He wants all the
kids to be together, and maybe Jaden would be okay
of that if Krishawn wasn't there. But she doesn't want
her around her kids. And as a mom, you get
to make that call. You don't want your kids her specifically,
if you don't want your kids went fine, fine, but
the kids should all be able to be together. I
don't give you that.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
It should have been a drop off then instead of
her like at the arcade.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Right, I don't think Krishan was supposed to be at
that arcade. I think she rolled and she went, and
she went, she pulled up and she went on Instagram
live and she did it on purpose, and now there's
drama between his lovers.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
By the way, he looks like he's been behind bar
just lifting weights. He looks big.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
He does look buffer. I will give him that too,
all right, the street things need to know for Tuesday,
November fourth. If you can't call the show, that is okay.
There are other ways to access us. First, you could

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Good morning, Dashy Morning Show, Good morning.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
Bostin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four five.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
I am so so jealous of this first caller. But
in the meantime six one seven nine three one one
nine four five six one seven nine three one one
nine four five guys, we're talking dating, love, relationships lack thereof.
You're out there in these streets and you're like, it's tough.
Call me, let's chat about it. Why is it tough?
What's going on? What are the tender profiles looking like
(23:45):
these days? Anything in that in that realm or that area.
Gianna is gonna start it with us. She's from Milford
but recently got engaged in a place that I I've
only been once in my life, but I was two,
like years old, so I have no recollection. I got
to get back. You got engaged in.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Oh Waii. Hollo wow.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
All right, so walk us through. Did you have an
idea or were you just like we are going on vacation.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
I had no idea it was going to be an engagement.
We actually went for my daughter's sweet sixteen. We didn't
have like a sweet sixteen or anything for her, so
she chose to go to Hawaii.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
For her love.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
That great choice.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
The kids, these kids are spoiled.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Well no, I mean she didn't have party. She picked
the trip either. That's a great choice. I don't feel
like many sixteen year olds would do that. They'd be like,
I want the party with my friends in Milford. But
that's I love her for that choice.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
So we were as a blunder family. Her dad was
able to attend with his fiance along with me and
my fiance, so there was nine of us. We all
stayed together one Earbnb. We did all our excursions together come.
(25:09):
We actually were going up to Mona Chay, which is
the highest point in Hawaii where they have like NASA
and all that up there to like look at the
stars and the planets and stuff. But unfortunately we got
all the way up there and it was raining and
(25:30):
we wasn't able to see any of the stars. And
that's where he was supposed to propose to me.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
So did he call an audible or did he still
do it there?
Speaker 3 (25:38):
So I would being a brat who went all the
way back down to the town we were staying in.
We actually went downtown and we actually got to like
a cute little scenic area by the water, and then
he proposed to me.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Oh my god, this is given Kardashians in a sense
of like this is super blended. We got your X
with his new love, you getting engaged in front of
him and the kids. Like this is because I was
going to be nosey and say, as the sixteen year old,
your fiances, but it's not. It's it's the other guy.
But he was there too. I'm happy with his love. Man.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
Yep, how old man.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
To toop it off.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
I'm thirty two.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
And then to pop it off. I met my fiance
on hinge.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
Oh my god, wow, you just started with that. So
seeing you, guys, you can't not only can you find
love on hinge, but you can find a man that
will take you to Hawaii to propose. What's the ring
looking like? Let's talk details here.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
It's beautiful. It's a two carrot, big ring. I'm very
happy with it.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
What's ale diamond?
Speaker 3 (26:49):
I don't know yet?
Speaker 2 (26:50):
Girl?
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Is it a square? Is it over?
Speaker 3 (26:56):
It's over? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Okay, okay, all right? Well wow, how long did you
guys stay in Hawaii for?
Speaker 3 (27:02):
We was there for a week.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
Would you go back? Did you love it?
Speaker 3 (27:06):
Absolutely? So we go to Puerto Rico actually like every
couple of months. So yeah, it was. It was beautiful
and we're actually going to get him married in Puerto Rico.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
Oh I love that? Like, are we going to wait
until next year? Or are we?
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Yeah? Next year?
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Next year? Okay, Well listen, congratulations, that's amazing. I'm happy
that you're happy. What a beautiful trip, and I'm to
be honest, I'm jealous. Congrats.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Well your wedding was beautiful, Well, thank.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
You, thank you? No, it was. I loved it, but
mine was you know in New Hampshire. No offense on respectfully. Uh,
you're getting married in Puerto Rico, got engaged in Hawaii. Hey,
you got a good one. Hold on to him. Thank
you for the call. Uh. I was just saying to you,
I'm turning thirty nine in a couple of days, and
it's whatever, Like, who care about thirty nine? But next
year's the Big four? To oh? And I told the fireman, like,
(28:04):
we got to go away. We have to go to
a trip, and Hawaii's up on my list other than
me going to Croatia because I'm Croatian and I've never been.
And before Nunna died, I like promised her that I
would go to the motherland. Other than like, I got
some of those places on the list. But Hawaii, I'm dying.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Are you bringing the kids?
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Hell? No, respectfully again to.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Them, No, I choose piece Waii is that the flat
is very I want.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
I want to be forty and I want to like
not have to worry about that, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (28:33):
Yeah, but pack Ford, just myself, Hawaii pays off. It's
as special as it's made to seem as when you
get there, they lay you and all the stuff they do,
the things that they do.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
I'm trying to get laid for sure, but I what
I'm saying is is like, is it that silly to
choose Hawaii for the fortieth? Should I wait bring the
kids to Hawaii? And then should I do the big
like Croatia trip, There.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Are two different vacations. Hawaii is more of like a
destination place where you hang out on the beach at
the hotel and it's an experience like that. But Croatia's
more of a horsy type thing where you're gonna be
walking around a lot. The beaches are beautiful too, but
it's more like.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
I'm on my tractions see that. Like I don't know
about you, but with as I've gotten older, like thirty
nine years old, I'm not into just like laying on
a beach anymore. That's not for me.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
Yeah, No, like that, I get bored easy. I didn't
used to be like that. I could lay on the
beach for hours. That's I don't. I get bored. I'm not.
I like excursions.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
We like a mix of both. But I will say
last few year is like traveling with the kids just
overseas has been amazing, But seeing the touristy things is
now they're old enough to understand them and see them
and appreciate them, so that's been special too.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Yeah, well, we'll see. I have a year to make
that decision.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Because I'm thirty nine forty. I know, I'm.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Excited thirty nine is Anyways, what's up out there? Guys?
Talk to me? What's happening on Tinder? What's happening on
a hinge? Are we doing well in love? Are we
fist fighting? Are we being single for the rest of
our lives? Where are we at? We're talking dating, love
and relationships six one seven nine three one one five.
That is six one seven nine one one nine four
(30:01):
five it's beyond this way. Boh hi, everybody, good morning.
It's Ashley in the gym in morning show. We're talking dating, love, relationships,
and I know a lot of times it's not easy
out there. We'll get a lot of calls from people
being like, it's ruggles city. I'm trying to find love,
but I can't because I went on one date and
the guy sent me a penis pick when I got
(30:22):
years Now, you don't know what's happening six one seven
nine three one one nine four five six one seven
nine three one one nine four five. I specifically don't
know what's happening other than the information I'm getting from
my friends. And that's why I need you to tell me.
Are we getting engaged? Are we struggling on the apps? Like?
Are we going on first dates? And things are happening?
What's up? I just got a DM from a girl
(30:44):
who basically said that she feels like in love she
cannot win. She said she's on all the apps and
a lot of times she gets messages from guys back
being like, I've appreciated our conversation, but if we're being honest,
I'm not attracted to you, and she's like, I've gotten
that more than once. Caveat to that she is a.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Bodybuilder, Oh I've seen this before.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
Yes, And she's like, I'm not giving up bodybuilding, but
I also want love. But a lot of guys are
intimidated by my body because I am more muscly than
they are.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
I have known a lot of females that were in
great shape like that, and they say the consistency that
they do that they get when they go out to
bars as guys touching their arms, but not in a
way of like attraction, right, but almost like a novelty
type thing.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
And they hate it for sure, because there are guys
out there that are into that, but I think there
are also guys who are like, oh, I want a
more feminine look. To each their own.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
I disagree because I love a girl with a big bicep.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
Yeah you do.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
But I understand how that can be like intimidating for
a guy because maybe it's a thing where like you
start questioning your your own shape and this and that
or whatever it is, or yeah, you.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
Just want to I run her back, and I said, listen,
don't give that up. If that's what you love doing,
You'll find a guy who also likes to carry around
a gallon of water and chicken breast. It's gonna be fine.
I just saw everyone's clear as soon as I was
reading side of the message.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
He's like, let me see her. Yeah, herd back is stacked.
But I like that, But again, to each their own.
But I'm also not like a post I'm open to
anything too, So I.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
Mean, we've even learned from a j like guys and
females too. But people say wild things on the apps.
I know they just because they can hide behind the
app and then they can just unmatched and disappear proof.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
Also, if they say these crazy things, I feel like
most of the time they're they're waiting for some sort
of response that gets them down the path of sex or.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
They've gotten they say the guy says to you, I
will I can't describe, but say the guy says something
wild to you sexually. Yeah, he's clearly said that to
one other girl and it works. So he's just putting
out the fishing bait.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
And that's the number game. Like after that, if you
send that text out one hundred times and six coming back,
that's six.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
You know, we gotta believe. We have to believe in
love number one. Yeah, And I think we also have
to believe that there are other people out there that
want the same things as us. If you're somebody on
the app right now and you want marriage and you
want kids and stuff, there's somebody else out there that
does as well. It might be it's my little rough
road to find them, but I think we have to
(33:19):
believe that. I also feel like I'm preaching. I'm sounding
preachy right now, but I'm going to preach on because
I feel as if there lately has been this negative
connotation around marriage too, and I think it's important for
people to know that marriage also is work, but marriage
is awesome. I love being married, and I think that
(33:40):
people like to kind of do this. Eh, shut up,
it's not like that everywhere. It's not.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
I've been married for twenty years and each year has
been better. So yeah, it is really good.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
Hey, some aren't, but that doesn't mean all aren't.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Oh yeah, you can get out of those and find
somebody that it's a better match for you and make
that marriage good.
Speaker 1 (34:01):
What's up, guys? What's happening on the apps? How are
we to? You know? Make sure that girl keeps lifting
her weights. You lift your weights if you want to.
But what's going on with you in the dating world?
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five
it's beyond the swape? Hi, everybody, Good morning. It's actually
in the gym in morning show. You know, when we
talk about dating and love and lack thereof our minds
(34:24):
on this show always go to one person.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Oh yeah, but it shouldn't go to that place, so
I know, but it.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
Does, because you know, we're having this conversation about like
be yourself on the apps and live your life and
do all of these things, and you know there's somebody
out there for you. We always thought for aj like
there was somebody out there for her. I'm starting to get.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Worried, but there is somebody out here for her. She
just watched them all go by. They were like ten
ten people just passed by her.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
There were a few. By the way, we're doing dating
love relationships here six one seven, nine, three, one one
nine four five and a six one seven, nine, three,
one one nine or five every once in a while,
like once every six months, when it comes to a J.
Sante and I like to take matters into our own hands.
So I just said to her, listen, give me your
(35:12):
bumble and let's see what's Let's see what's going on
on the apps. Ash go over there and hop on
a mic. That way, you know we can remind me
because I always mess this up for bumble if I
don't like that.
Speaker 7 (35:26):
Swipe is a no, right, swipe is a yes.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
Okay, all right, So let's talk about this guy, vice
president of his company. He's a foodie, a wine lover,
five eleven once kids, doesn't have any He's ambitious, some
of his photos include him like legit hiking, he's I mean,
(35:50):
got a little and pep going on.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
You said something in the beginning that she's not gonna
like ambitious. No, he's vice president of his company and
she has dumped guys before, you know, because they've been
too successful.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
I went left. Okay, right, you're right, yep, I'm not
good enough. But yeah, but what that's just we can't
don't engage with that. Let's move on. Boston guy with
a deep voice, big heart, and an eight year old
soccer star. He travels, he likes to run, he likes
to hike, he likes concerts, he likes volunteering. He said,
(36:24):
looking for someone that's kind, confident and doesn't want kids. Travel,
We're going left, correct if they don't want kids?
Speaker 7 (36:32):
Ash right, No, I I think that's my preference now,
to be honest.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
To somebody who does. Oh wow, when did this switch up?
It's been a while. I haven't been re public about it. Money.
I'm actually going to post about it today.
Speaker 7 (36:48):
But no, I I've put a lot of thought into it,
and yeah, I think I've I've realized that I don't
know if I ever actually wanted kids and that's.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
Where I'm at. But how did this happen? Because I
feel like that was a big the last few years
of dating you, it was that was they had to
want a family.
Speaker 7 (37:08):
I put a lot of pressure on myself. Oh my god,
I have to find someone who wants kids. I need
to have kids. And I'm in this circumstance of not
having kids, whether I wanted to have kids or not.
So I kind of like switched things and I was like,
all right, let me look at the positives of not
having kids, because that might just be how my life
ends up, whether I want it or not. And I
realized there's a lot of positives to not having kids.
(37:30):
And don't get me wrong, there's a lot of positives
to having kids as well, But there's a lot of
positives to not having kids. And I think I'm in
a place in my life where I like that.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
And well, because we're here, let me ask, do you
feel like you're pushing that narrative on yourself because you're
worried that about like biological clock, about not being with anybody,
about finding someone, and then the time it would take
for you to have a kid and all those things.
Do you feel like you're trying to convince yourself of
this or is this because really, I mean that was
a big thing for you.
Speaker 7 (38:00):
It was I think all the pressure I was putting
on myself was because of the biological clock, and like
that pressure was like horrible, Like I would cry to
my therapist about it. And again, once I switched my
frame of mind and I looked at all, like, Okay,
what are the positives of being in this situation? Now,
I'm kind of like, you know what, I actually think
(38:20):
that I prefer this, and I I have kids in
my life, so I'm kind of getting the kid lifestyle
without actually having to be one hundred percent fully responsible
for them. And I think I'm okay with that.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
But are you open? How do I feel sad? I
don't really know if that's what you really want. I
think you and I don't want to use words settling,
but I think you're coming to terms of the fact
that you may never have kids, which is also okay.
But are you okay and so open to having kids
if the opportunity does come your way.
Speaker 7 (38:51):
It's funny because I've actually thought about like putting on
my dating apps like I don't want kids, and like
how I would feel if I met somebody and I
really liked him and he was like, I do want kids,
and it's I definitely lean more towards like, oh, like
I don't. I don't want that anymore. But I feel
like if I met the right person, I might be
(39:12):
like put a baby in me now, like you know that.
I think if I met the right person, that's very possible.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
But so you're open to having kids with the right person, yeah, I.
Speaker 7 (39:21):
Think that maybe, like, yeah, if I met the right person,
maybe I'll completely change my mind. But right now, in
this very moment, I I don't want to do that
at all.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
All right, Oh I'm just like like like I want.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
To cry, but I feel sad, but she's you don't
seem sad at all. Again.
Speaker 7 (39:38):
This is something that I when I was putting all
this pressure on myself, I was sad. I was crying
over it because I'm like, oh my god, I'm a
certain age and I don't have anyone in my life
to have kids with yet, and I'm I don't feel
I don't feel sad.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
By the way. I know we're talking about biological clocks,
but like you're still in your younger thirties, you're not,
I am, but you could still absolutely you have kids.
Speaker 7 (40:00):
I mean, when I think about it, I probably wouldn't
have a kid until I was forty maybe, And that's fine.
A lot of people are still doing that. But I
just I don't know that I ever imagined myself waiting
that long for the opportunity, and I don't know that
I want to do it at that point.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
Wow. So like the whole thing with ending up with
cats is a thing.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
Yeah, that's wow. I didn't ever think that.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
That's I thought that. I thought it was a joke.
Speaker 7 (40:27):
Now that's something's wrong with cats, guys, they're actually really.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
You're wearing a gamis down paster kneecaps with the picture
of the cat on it. Yeah, well, wow, I this
is I think. Wow, that's I don't even really want
to go back to the dating caps after this. It's
tough to.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
I have so much to think on because like that
was like a lot, Like you've been holding onto that
for a long time.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (40:53):
Again, it's something that I have really put a lot
of thought into because you know, again, the pressure that
I putting on myself was horrible, and I'm in a
circumstance where whether I want kids or not, this might
just be what my life is, so let's embrace it.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
The craziest thing she told us was the fact that
if she met a guy, she'd be open to having
kids if it was the right person, but she won't
move out of Tuxbury for the right guy, and that,
to me is psychotic.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
Yeah, that's well, lesson two each their own. But all right.
I mean, I don't think we're not completely shutting the
door on kids, because if you met somebody, you could
be convinced, is what you're saying. So I think the
door is still open. But it's very crazy to me.
How like when we first started doing this with you
and you coming on and talking about your dating life,
(41:38):
that was like top three, yeah, top three things.
Speaker 7 (41:41):
I think it was just one of those things that
I was like, that's part of life, and that's what
I'm supposed to do, and that you know, Like I'm
a big rule follower, so I'm like, these are the rules,
Like I'm supposed to get older and get married and
have kids, and I think I'm like, I don't know,
Like even some of my family there were like surprise
when I would say I want kids because I've never
been like a kid's person, and I neither.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
I honestly barely like them. But I have too, you know, Yeah,
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (42:08):
I think that I'm just realizing that that's probably not
my path and that's.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
Okay, the two biggest things. And I hate bringing this up,
but bring it. I'm fine, I'm gonna do it. You
wouldn't think for him because he worked there and he
didn't want kids. I feel like now those are completely
gone and the door compete.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
I have missed you every single day, but what we're
learning here is the door is wide open for you, baby,
