La Organización del Tratado del Atlántico Norte (OTAN) atraviesa un periodo de profundos cambios e incertidumbre. En 2025, el debate sobre la contribución de los aliados a la defensa conjunta ha ocupado gran parte del debate alrededor de la Alianza.
A ello se suma el impacto persistente de la invasión rusa de Ucrania en 2022, así como el aumento de las tensiones militares, económicas y políticas entre Rusia y Europa, donde se encuentran la mayoría de los países miembros de la OTAN. Estos factores han impulsado una reconfiguración estratégica, obligando a la Alianza a revisar sus prioridades y a adaptarse a un entorno internacional cada vez más complejo.
