we finish up on a Friday.
That's how we've been doing this for a
very long time, almost four years now, pretty
soon.
So our master topic for the week is
a really good one, the power of motion,
lessons in continuous growth.
We're in series four and the granular topic
(01:46):
for today is synchronization and flow.
Series four, show 47, episode number five.
So again, welcome.
Actually, we have two more days, sorry, left
of the show master topic.
We have episode six and episode seven coming

So, oh, I have my hot chocolate here.
It's absolutely delicious.
It's so it's nice and hot, but not
too hot to burn you.
I actually use the Swiss Miss and then
I have InstaHot there in the kitchen and
just use it and it makes it very
easy and very, very simple, guys, to do.
(02:50):
And it's delicious.
And sometimes I didn't do it tonight, but
sometimes I'll put marshmallows in them.
Mm-mm-mm, really, really good, especially on
a cold night or cold day.
Which brings me to the point, if you
guys are thirsty, whether you want hot chocolate,
whether you want some water, RO, whether you
(03:11):

like, feel free to get that and come
on back to the show so you can
sit here and be comfortable.
And I don't want to be parched.
I don't want you to be starving.
So what I definitely want to tell you
guys is tonight, I think, is a show
that a lot of people, they're going to
(03:33):
really appreciate tonight.
Why?
Well, because we have a lot to share
and about civilization and the flow, the flow
state of life.
That's what success goes into.
Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Inspirations for
Your Life show.
This is your daily destination for motivation and
life changing wisdom.
(03:55):
Yeah, I'm John C.
Morley, serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer,
podcast host, coach, graduate student and a proud,
passionate, lifelong learner.
This show is dedicated to helping you unlock
your fullest potential every single day of your
(04:16):
life.
Today, let's explore a very interesting topic, which
is synchronization and flow.
You might have heard, you know, if you're
in the flow state, success just sort of
naturally happens.
This is absolutely delicious.
How rhythm, timing and teamwork transform motion into
(04:37):
powerful growth.
I think that's an important thing.
Let's get right to the first topic.
The first point I should say, number one
is timing creates harmony in movement, just like
music.
When you align your actions with the right
timing, every flows are smoother.
You know, we have timing in music.
Not to get to that.
We have rhythm in music.
They call a metronome and that can help
(04:59):
you keep time very easily.
Being a pianist, definitely that is a very
handy tool to use in music.
Harmony in movement lets progress unfold naturally, taking
the stress out of your journey.
And who doesn't want the stress taken out
of journey, right?
I mean, people definitely want to be able
(05:20):
to have a great life.
So number two, guys, is flow appears where
resistance decreases, flow appears where resistance decreases.
When you remove obstacles and distractions from possibilities
(05:42):
in your life, aim to minimize friction in
your daily tasks to boost creativity, energy and,
of course, guys, satisfaction.
So I think that's a that's a very
important thing.
So synchronization builds momentum faster than solo effort
working together.
Multiple people can get better results when your
(06:08):
efforts are synchronized with teammates, family or systems.
You move forward faster and you reach bigger
goals much quicker.
And then that's something that that can actually
help you keep going in life.
You know, when when something changes like that
and when we can see these great things.
(06:29):
Number four, guys, and that is align effort
with environment.
Rhythm, you see, your environment has its own
tempo, its own beat by adapting to its
rhythm, you streamline your journey and you harness
more potential with less struggle.
And I think that's something that a lot
of people like for whatever reason, they just
(06:50):
don't they don't get it.
So I can tell you that being in
the flow state is not something you just
get overnight.
It's something that might take you some time.
But once you figure out your flow state,
it's like, oh, my gosh, it's like, wow,
I can't believe how amazing that is.
And I think that's an important thing to
(07:11):
realize.
So let's jump right into part number five.
Consistent timing improves efficiency, routine and steadiness, and
it helps you create powerful momentum.
People said to me, John, you know, I
do something every day.
I said, well, that's great.
But do you do the same amount every
day?
(07:31):
Well, one day I do 10 things.
One day I do three things.
Another day I do one thing, then I
do three things.
You're not consistent.
So pick what you want, be consistent and
do that over and over and over again.
And as you do that over and over
again, you will find some amazing, amazing stuff
that I think will really change your life.
Efficient progress comes from rhythm, not frantic action.
(07:56):
I know sometimes, you know, and let's take
myself so you guys know that I'm, you
know, it's the holidays and usually I spend
some time with family.
And I got to tell you, the few
days in the week just before we're going
to close, it gets a little hectic.
I pray I ask for some support because
(08:16):
things just sort of like, I don't know,
they get out of hand a little bit.
Going to school and other stuff and just
timelines.
Today, I had a keynote speech to give.
And today I also thought I was going
to have an extra hour to do something,
but I didn't because a client called and
I wound up helping them, which was great.
But that hour that I expected to have
for myself, I didn't.
(08:37):
So that's why we're doing this a little
bit late.
And, you know, I always put these out
before I go to bed.
That's my promise to you guys.
But still, I'm doing a lot better.
Last time we got to bed around one,
two o'clock, so happy to be finishing
up earlier.
Number six, the flow is friction minimized.
Declutter your mind and your workspace.
(08:58):
Simple, clear systems are the fastest route to
pure flow.
Now, I don't want you to think that
they're going to happen like magically overnight because
you know what?
They are not going to happen overnight.
And so it's all about being consistent, right?
Being consistent when we can be consistent.
(09:20):
I think that makes a huge difference for
us and for other people in our lives.
Okay.
When we can think about that, because when
we can think about that, it becomes very
powerful for us in our lives and the
people that we're with.
Number seven, harmony accelerates outcomes when your goals,
(09:44):
actions, and your environment are all in sync.
You reach success faster and enjoy the fruits
of your labor and the journey much more.
Number eight, guys.
Match your velocity to your ecosystem.
Some moments need spade, others, patience.
(10:05):
Adjust your pace to fit your surroundings for
optimal energy and results.
Number nine, shared patterns amplify performance.
Teams that run on shared routines, get more
done, build group habits, and learn how to
maximize the results.
(10:26):
And I think sometimes we all get into
this funk.
We're like, oh my gosh, like, I don't
know how I'm supposed to do.
I don't know how I'm going to do
this.
And I want to tell you that it's
not hard guys.
It's just some focus and it's some understanding.
And when we can do that, it's like
our life suddenly changes.
Okay.
Our life changes.
(10:47):
And we start to realize, I'm going to
say like, like an epiphany of life.
We have this epiphany and this epiphany is
something really cool because we're able to see
something that maybe we didn't see before.
When we're aligned in the moment, we get
(11:07):
downloads from the universe.
Insights come to mind.
Okay.
That's very, very important is that being in
the moment, everybody wants to rush the moment.
Okay.
I've seen people, they want to rush it.
They want to get through it.
Don't rush the moment.
Enjoy the darn moment.
Okay.
That is so, so important that I'm telling
(11:29):
you this.
I mean, that is really, really important.
So if you understand that one thing, you
can probably understand, you know, other things in
life, but maybe, maybe it's not about life.
Maybe to you, it's about achieving, achieving something
(11:51):
that maybe you didn't know, that maybe you
didn't know existed.
And so I know how that can cause,
that can definitely cause some problems.
Uh, the reason it can cause problems, I'll
tell you why it can cause problems.
It's because you have to understand, um, that,
(12:13):
um, things are going to change all around
you, but you have to be, you know,
tuned into that.
Okay.
And so if you're tuned into that, then
you're able to, then you're able to, um,
(12:34):
then you're able to, uh, realize some things.
Okay.
And those things are very, very powerful.
Okay.
Uh, very, very powerful.
Does that make sense?
(13:01):
And maybe you're thinking, uh, that it's something
that maybe you don't get.
And it's happening because maybe you're not in
alignment.
Okay.
Um, I think that's, I think that's, uh,
(13:25):
I think that's important to know, uh, that.
And so, um, you know, I think, I
think that's very important to understand.
Um, I think when you realize there are
differences in life, you actually connect.
(13:50):
Let's jump in.
Number 10, number 10 is, uh, sink best
solo speed in long-term systems.
Long-term victories rely on group rhythm.
Not just individual speed stick together for sustains
success.
I know that seems hard, but it is,
uh, it is, it is, it is true.
(14:11):
Okay.
Really, really true.
And so I want you to realize this
adapt to pulse, not pressure work with healthy
momentum instead of rushing due to stress.
Stress is the enemy.
Steady pulse leads to growth and also resilience.
(14:32):
And I think that's something that a lot
of people, uh, don't realize they don't understand,
uh, what, you know, what, what that is
or how that can affect us.
And I think sometimes that can just get
us like all like discombobulated, right?
We don't necessarily know why that is, but
we know that we get fresh.
(14:52):
We know a lot of people don't like
changing the reason people don't like change is
because they're afraid of what's going to possibly
happen.
All right.
I think that's a very, very, uh, important
thing to understand.
Um, moving on here, smooth transitions, maintain flow
switch between tasks smoothly for uninterrupted momentum.
(15:14):
I think that's a very important.
And so, um, a little planning goes a
long way.
Mutual motion builds community.
Okay.
(15:37):
And I think that's, uh, I think that's
important, uh, to, to, to realize that, uh,
that, that, that it basically, that it, uh,
that, that it, that it builds, uh, that
it builds a community.
And so it builds the rhythm, the collaboration
and it creates harmony and shared beat.
(15:57):
Okay.
Does, does that make sense?
Everybody?
I hope it does.
Um, but you know, it's, um, it's, it's,
it's important to know like what's going on.
(16:19):
And so when we think about this and
we think about the whole concept of the
spark flowing in your immunity for collective progress,
that's something that a lot of people get
stuck on.
Um, and so that can be a challenge
for a lot of people.
Like, you know, what do we do?
(16:40):
What do we say?
And, um, how do we react?
So number 14 year cadence creates continuity.
Consistency delivers results.
(17:08):
Does that make sense?
Hopefully it does.
And so we find your natural pace, um,
stick to it.
That's important.
(17:31):
Okay.
Does that make sense?
Stick to it, guys, stick to it and
watch steady success unfold.
I think that's a, an important thing, but
a lot of people don't get like, you
(17:53):
know what that means.
I think the reason they don't get it
is they don't understand a lot of times
what's going on in people's minds.
Okay.
Number 15, calibrate your timing.
Consistently, regularly check and adjust your priorities and
your schedule.
So calibration, uh, is, um, important because it
(18:19):
keeps you aligned with your biggest goals.
If you're not in the movement, um, you're
going to get lost.
(18:40):
Does that make sense?
Or does that, does that get you, um,
does that get you crazy?
And hopefully that, you know, makes some things
for you.
Um, 16, we want to synchronize with cycles
of energy, recognize your natural highs and your
(19:02):
lows.
Schedule important tasks for your peak energy periods.
(19:33):
Does that make sense?
I hope it does.
(19:55):
Does that give you any kind of an
idea of like, you know, what's going on
or does it kind of confuse you?
Number 17, flow flourishes where trust exists, trust
yourself and your team to fuel flow.
(20:15):
Okay.
Confidence builds unity and effortless momentum.
Does that make sense?
Number 18, find resonance with your task rhythm,
pursue projects that excite you.
They create an organic rhythm and turn hard
work into joy.
(20:36):
Pacing perfects process.
The perfect pace prevents burnout and overruns honor
your rhythm for sustainable results.
I know that sounds hard, but it's important.
Um, number 20 time alignment replaces time control
focus on sinking with meaningful timeless timeliness, uh,
(20:58):
rather than micro managing every minute.
Um, I think that's important.
And so 21 is frictionless teamwork, sustains flow,
open communication and clear roles, keep teams in
(21:18):
smooth motion.
Remove barriers for everyone.
Number 22 guys, um, sink structure to schedule,
not struggle.
Let your systems work with your routine.
Progress becomes easier when rhythm leads.
(21:39):
Does that make sense?
Hopefully it does.
Number 23 flows.
Entry point is focus.
Begin every task with sharp focus.
Concentration is the key that unlocks flow.
Number 24 synchronized energy outperforms raw effort.
When everyone's energy is focused together, results multiply.
(22:02):
I mean, this is a no brainer teamwork
energizes growth.
Okay.
And I think that's a very, uh, important
thing to, to, to understand.
Um, and so number 25 is routine build
habits and routines reinforce progress.
Find what works and let the routine drive.
(22:25):
You don't be scared of the routine.
This is very, very, uh, important to, to
understand.
Number 26, avoid overexertion to maintain harmony, balance
work and rest.
Overdoing fractures, uh, your rhythm recharge to keep
moving.
Number 27 guys shared cadence creates group coherence.
(22:48):
A unified group pace leads to collective achievement.
Work together, succeed together.
And that's a very, very big part.
Makes sense.
(23:14):
Number 28 seamless switches, signal mastery, fluidity, transition
between skills and roles.
Mastery is shown through seamless motion.
I think
(23:47):
that's an important thing to, to, to realize.
Um, number 29.
So number 29 is trust the rhythm, adjust
the beat, just like the music, right?
(24:09):
Have confidence in your process, but stay flexible.
Adapt is needed for continuous progress.
Number 30 guys flow transforms discipline into ease
for the true flow turns hard work into
pleasure.
When rhythm and discipline align, anything becomes possible.
(24:30):
And I think sometimes that can be a
huge, um, a huge thing.
Does that make sense guys?
Hopefully it does.
(24:50):
Um, and if that makes sense, then hopefully
that'll help you help you to realize your
possibilities in life, help you to know, like
what's going on, you know, where things are.
And I think that's a very, um, important
(25:13):
thing to realize, like, you know, where, where
things are, why things are the way they
are.
I think that can be a very, um,
I think that could be a very important
thing for a lot of people is just
being present to be in the moment.
Um, I think that's important that we realize,
(25:34):
uh, what that is.
And if we realize what that is, then
that can make a very, very, a very,
very big difference.
A difference that hopefully will transform you to
a completely new way, a new, uh, piece,
a new, um, way to think of things.
(25:58):
And as you think about this, you'll probably
realize that synchronization and flow, they happen naturally
when your body is in alignment with the
energy.
So in closing guys, as we have to
wrap up, I want to thank everyone for
tuning into inspirations for your life with me,
(26:19):

Uh, then
(27:06):
your life will change and that'll be a
big thing for you.
Um, and hopefully that'll propel you forward.
Okay.
(27:37):
And that hopefully can make a difference for
you guys, right?
A difference that could be pretty amazing.

The flow will happen naturally.
Okay.

your surroundings.
