Welcome to this weeks episode of the My Slice of Life podcast where, for this season, we are diving into the folklore of trees and plants. This week we are talking about stinging nettle and the rowan tree. From witches, fairies, guiding lost hikers, to healing the sick, amongst other things, these plants have some fascinating folklore!
I did have a couple of technical glitches for some reason, so if you are listening to this (as opposed to watching on YouTube), at the 57second mark I’m actually saying ‘prepping’ and at 7mins 50secs, I say ‘chervil’ but it sounds like ‘kervil’!
