Sam and Hiram recap a final week that started in Virginia Beach, where the boys battled a keeper standing on his head, took the lead on a Brady Geho penalty, and settled for a 1-1 draw that officially closed the playoff door.
But the home finale at Navy Memorial? Pure joy. In front of 7,815 fans with Crabtown and the Bay Bhoys in full voice, the Blues dismantled Bethesda 4-1. Enzo bagged a brace, Ben Madore uncorked an absolute worldie from 25+ yards off a self-volley, and Tyler Gabara buried a penalty and earned the most acceptable yellow card of the season with a shirt-off celebration. A five-game unbeaten run to end the year, jumping Bethesda and Christos to finish 5th at 7-5-2 with 36 goals scored and a +16 goal difference.
