Das Thema der Betrachtung lautet: „Im Tod ist das Leben“, inspiriert von einem zentralen Vers des Johannesevangeliums – Kapitel 11, Vers 25. Dort spricht Jesus: „Ich bin die Auferstehung und das Leben. Wer an mich glaubt, wird leben, auch wenn er stirbt.“
Ich möchte gerne eingangs der Sendung den Salesianer-Pater Antony Kolencherry vorstellen. Pater Antony wirkte bis 2018 als Pfarrer in Solothurn und als Spiritual im Kloster Visitation. Heute lebt und wirkt er vor allem in Afrika und Indien. Ein besonderes Ereignis war sein goldenes Priesterjubiläum, das er am 12. Juni 2022 feiern durfte – 50 Jahre priesterlicher Dienst. Wir von Radio Gloria durften die festliche Zeremonie damals live übertragen.
