One of the clearest ways to grow in our knowledge of God is to understand what He loves and what He hates. In Proverbs 6:12-19, Scripture reveals seven things that are detestable to the Lord, not because God is harsh, but because each one stands in opposition to His holy character.
This message examines God's response to pride, lying, violence, wicked intentions, a passion for sin, false witness, and sowing discord. As we explore these truths, we also discover the beautiful qualities God loves: humility, truth, life, goodness, holiness, honesty, and peace.
