The universe declares God's glory—yet at conception, all that glory fit into a single cell. Mary's womb had room for the King of the Universe, but when Jesus was born, the world had no room for Him at the inn.
This is where the rejection of Christ begins—not at the cross, but in a manger. The wealthy and religious turned Him away, but the lowly shepherds recognized their Savior and worshiped Him in a food trough. They knew they needed Him, not just relief from Rome, but salvation from themselves.
