skate competition, one of the myriad sports here at the
Paris Olympic Games.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Oh, there are a lot of those sports to cover,
there's sure are.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
I'm Scott Tamovich and I usually cover weightlifting and.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
I am Antian Vulche. And that was just having it
back at at the cafe. They said, can you announce
this sport? They said, shut up, leave me alone, And
then I am here.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Well you're doing great.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
At ten and here we go with our first skateboard rider,
Kevin Bodager from the US.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Pretty sure, he's like the next Tony Hawk.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Here he go into the area, going downhill on the thing.
Now he jumped, Yes.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
He did a spinny thing with the board and landed
jelly side up.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
So he's okay everybody.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Now he's rolling along into the other side and jumping
up there once again.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yes, and this time you do an out of spin
thing with the board, sart ground. He landed right on
the pedestrau and it's friends right hand around.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
I think you did that on purpose. Saw.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
He's continuing to roll into the other ramp jin, how.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Do you say ramp in French?
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Left rat as he finishes his run, I wonder what
the judges.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Will think, as that was all over the place.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Here come they judges scored.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Now, well, okay, whatever that was, the judges really approve,
and Gavin Podager moves to the top of the leaderboard
despite having the muscle tone of a wet noodle.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Quite frankly, well now the take a smoke break and
come back and see these children throw themselves down this stair.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
