right there. Oh, I know where he's going. Uh well,
Kevin's getting is obviously, okay, Okay, I have Vakamoto I
see over here.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Okay, okay, I think motive is on on.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Green now yeah, it's true. Now see I thought you
were gonna go for a green power in your helmet,
but no, you went for the eye of Aakamoto instead.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
No, I wasn't allowed to have that.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Why not? I mean you have everything else back, she.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Said, doesn't trust me for that? Word is that I
don't trust you how to go out and fight crime
with that.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I was like, wow, well, I mean if you get
the costume too, then I mean you're pretty much ready
to go, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I mean he's a green I'm.

Speaker 1 (01:41):

that next week's the finale already for that and a
show Kevin and I have both discovered on the Green

(02:03):
Streaming Machine and is actually really good, well worth the time,
Saint Patrick's Day.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Edition that needs to be in their next marketing campaign
Hulu The Green Streaming Machine, The Green stream Machine.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Good.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
But you can see everything we're about to talk about
today so much more at Infinite Underscore bides on the
Instagram or the X go and give it to you,
or you can have a good time watching us in
video form, where Kevin can watch.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
US live twice a week on Twitch dot tv slash
if Underscore pods join the chat. What's your fellows, fellow
Crisis crew members. If you can't do that, that's okay.
You have another option for you, YouTube dot com slash
if Underscore pods watch US live on demand from episodes
of four and five years ago. It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Just keep on going. Apparently our YouTube channel has been
active for four years now. I didn't realize that. Sure,
we did, pandemica. We figure that out, you know, we
figured out the videos podcast. But we always start the
pop cast properly with something I like to call what
Sh're doing, where we talk about the shows and movies.

(03:06):
We've been watching games, we've been playing, lives we've been living.
Because it is Monday, Kevin, you get to go first,
good sir.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Uh So this weekend I had to actually work, which
wasn't fun.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Been there, no that, no, that struggle.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Yeah. So the Saturday shifts that radio stations, hoody knows
they aren't jam packed with stuff to do, so kind
of sitting there watching things, make sure it happened the
correct way. But it's cool. I was able to because
I did that, I was able to actually finally after
we'll say a year and a half finished Monarch TV.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Now that did you did you rewatch the episode you
stopped watching or do you kind of remembered everything?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I kind of remembered everything. The whole gist of the
show is what Manark actually does behind the scenes, because
in the movies Guys Looking Call, you're focused on Godzilla
King Call, not about the agency that all the Giant
Coja marsters around the world. So I kind of remember
what happened. The story starts with a woman who was
what they call g day was the murders of Godzilla

(04:09):
in the first one, how she deal deals with it
and if I look for her father looking for her father,
found out that her father has a second family in Japan,
she has a brother she never knew about, and we
kind of jump off from there. Yeah, it gets very
very intriguing from there. But the final three emnisodes were
really really, actually, really really good. Got into a lot
of the lore and like the rules of the science

(04:29):
fiction world of Godzilla in Kong, for one, the world
that like the monsters live in, like the hollow Earth
thing they live in, and that world time isn't the
same as the surface world because in this show, the
little girl's grandmother she fell into that world like in
nineteen sixty five and it went down there like in

(04:51):
twenty eighteen in the show, and she's still like thirty
years old, so she has an age to day. She
said she only been there for fifty five days, and
it actually has been like thirty five years, which really cool.
So that's that's a really cool thing. And then at
the end of the series, so the series starts with
them looking for Godzilla, the series ends with them actually
on Kong Island and they're they're scrambling away to get

(05:13):
away from Coong Kong. Season like, it's it's really really
cool complex. A lot of things happen around that, but
that's kind of the gist of everything.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Now, timeline wise, where does this take place with all
the movies that have gone on takes.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I think it takes place in between, takes place after
the original, after the original Godzilla, after their original King.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Kong, but before Kings King of the Monsters. Okay, cool, okay, cool.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Because there's no mention of like, like what was most
of my.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Something like.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Math I don't mentioned to them. Yet it's only everything's
about Godzilla's original emergence basically, and it also as the
character in the show that actually plays a younger version
of John Demon's character in Kong, and he actually doesn't
make it. Of course, could be all it's so it
takes place after that as well. So it's it's a
pretty good show to feel kind of feeling the cracks

(06:06):
of the Lord of the World of Godilla I Calling
and all that kind of suff don't the whey to
going next?

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Well, season two is supposed to come out this year,
so we'll find out soon. Prib t up the next
movie too.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yeah, because the movie has not thinking I don't know
where to go to because basically, did the movie twice
conmerce Gonzilla twice? What do you do next? Commerce go
deli versus me?

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I mean, I mean it is true at this point
the cong Godzilla franchise is the way of fast and
furious where you can just do whatever. People are just
watching it to watch it. They're not here for plot stuff,
you know, for action.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
What the movie saysivers is if you're here for plot,
I'm like, come on.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Man, once we hit Godzilla X, once we hit Godzilla
x Kong. You're like, okay, now what does this mean?

Speaker 2 (06:52):
I mean Kong had had an Infinity Gauntlet, it was punching.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
People with it, a conquest gauntlet more actually actually closer
to question.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
And then there was a frozen Godzilla and there was
a big Epe that was like a Rank Tang. It
was a lot of things, but it was great. Yeah,
it was a other than that, playing a lot more
Assassin's Creed.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
That's all you can say say about that Wednesday more
of w two K twenty five. That game is just fun, man, God,
I don't know. I don't know how they hit that
stride up the last two or three where the game
is literally just fun, just fun.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Well, well let's talk about that. Let's talk about right
now because we're gonna say it for the news, but
Kevin's ready to go talk about it. So, Kevin two
K twenty five, your boy has been playing my faction
moment mostly what have you been playing?

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Honest see, I've been doing a lot of pick up
matches and different match.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Types online or locally.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Oh lone, I'm not a little I'm not going online up.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
No no, no, no, no no no.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Those days are gone, but I've been doing a lot
of this, Like I've played as I played as jay Us,
playing Seth Roland see a punk of course if you
mentioned that, as Trick Williams and Opa Femi. And even
when I'm trying to like, you know, just pick up
a win and lee move set. So I'll do open
Amy versus some sixty overall person the match is still fun,

(08:15):
Like it's still a lot of fun that I'm not
just steamrolling. Everybody did a I did a equid match,
the Ambulance match. I did one of those with Seth
and Roman because I feel like that's whats coming in WrestleMania.
There's gonna be the cramp out of each other. But
the game is just so intuitive and so fun to
make you feel like you're literally in a wrestling arena

(08:35):
in a wrestling crowd, and it's it's just a blast.
How is I Fashion Mo coming for you right now?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
So I am only mostly why I did all the
live events, which is great because like now is the
time to capitalize because if you did all the pre
orders all a lot, you have cards to play and
do all these modes. My faction this year is definitely
it definitely is seems more friendlier than it used to
be because I think you have the island. I don't
think I'm gonna go anywhere near the island in two
k just because I heard it's It's it's Fatuance or

(09:03):
whatever devoured Fatuans over, you know. But the World Tour mode,
like I said, I think I said this last week,
is a lot like kind of street fightery, kind of
like the like Dirt World Tour, Mortal Kombat Tower where
really you're going through these matches, don'tlock certain cards. The
hardest one for me I did. I got seeing Punk,

(09:26):
so we got the fire Burns songs. We're seeing Punk
twenty ten, so that's great. Yeah, it's been great because
I put it on the jukebox and it pops up
every time. I'm like, hell yeah, let's go that with
Rea Ripley's song. Hell yeah. A good time with wrestling
so awesome. But the hardest mode in the hardest level,
I guess, is the New York level, And uh gotta

(09:49):
love the community for a wrestling game is everyone's found
the spam moved to do just over and over again
to make the matches go by quickly and your boy's
been doing it. It's helped a lot so because some
of the things are they like they make you randomize
who you play us. You don't know who you are,
and so you get picked as like a level fifty,

(10:10):
like fifty eight overall against eighty five, Like there's no
way I'm gonna win this. I'm gonna try.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
And that's why one of the reason why I don't
like to play online, because the spam moves are just.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Like well and then and the good thing about my
faction is there is an online component, but it's it's
not really I guess it is online tern equally, but
it is a local way to play that game. And
that's why I've been playing as and I think that's
what's made me enjoy it. Slash get used to some
of the difficulties because normally your boy plays on normal

(10:42):
and my faction is definitely on like legend, maybe a
little bit of yeah, look at you, man, you know,
I try, I dabble. But Kevin, what what do you
want to tackle next? In two K I guess next.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Will be I gotta find time to do it because
I take you forever. I create, my create, my player
and something my rise I didn't have time to do
this weekend I really wanted to do, but between working
in child rearing, it's like, this is not going to happen.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Now, should I task you with creating myself again? Or
should I create myself and or should it be my
turn to create you this time?

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Because the last few years I've done creative, I'm kind
of doing more of a street closed thing, the wrestling
clothes thing. I'm not what do I do this year?

Speaker 1 (11:25):
So well, lets you know what. Let's do this. We'd
each task each other with making a tag team of
the two of us. We'll say till next week, We'll
say next Monday. I think that should be enough time,
and then just seho has a better tag team and
that's the ones we go with and put online.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
So I think it's a good idea because I don't
know if I want to do street clothes this year
or I want to do wrestling clothes, and maybe here's
would be great for me. Yeah, let's do that.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
I like it like anything else than keV. Before we
switch over to me then, and what you're doing, because
we're still in it. Actually, there's one more thing, Okay,
one more.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
You might hate me I don't think you hite me
for it. We are in the beginning phases of maybe
planning a Disney trip in December.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Now when in December, the week of Christmas, a week before,
week after Christmas, week of Christmas through, well, right right,
gonna do the whole week?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
We'll only do two parks we'll probably probably do. We're
thinking of Epcot, Magic Kingdom and maybe the new Universal
Park Epic Universe. So we're thinking about it.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Well, Kevin, I don't mind because that's when this podcast
is on vacation, So for prosterity sakes, I don't mind
at all. But if we're hanging out, that's what I
need to know.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
You're going, You're going in December. I can't remember what
they said, though.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
We're going to We leave the twenty seventh and there
till New Year's Eve we fly back, So we.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Would definitely overlap because we're thinking about leaving on the
twenty third to get there on the twenty fourth, so
we were overlapped definitely.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
So my people will talk to your people, we'll see
what happens. It was a struggle of like, no, we
should stay for New Year's even, like no, we will
not because I have seen the crowds for New Year's
even Disney, and you think it's bad on the during
the day, and the night of Disney is even worse.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
And that's what that's what we were saying. We were like, well,
we already went, and if we go again, we already
did all the rat stuff and Mark, we can go
and just kind of hang out, maybe ride or to
mostly just eat.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Basically, Well, Kevin, I'll let you know. March twenty sixth,
that's the date Southwest flight tickets go on sale. But
I don't know if it's gonna be flying Southwest anymore.
So might be a Delta guy now and be a
Delta oof. Got to stop in land Atlanta. Can't help,
can't avoid it now, damn it.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Just land on a roof on a wheel, not a roof,
Delta Police. It's the bottom of the plane, off the
top of the play. That's all I got going on.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Yeah, so for me, more than I did start a
new we actually watched a new movie on Friday. It's
called The Parentine. It's on Max. It's actually really good. Uh.
It is a one of those horror comedy vibes. It
has Parker Posey who you know, for this is the
mom from Wite Lotus going Sue know Me and Buddhism

(14:04):
on TikTok. That's her. She got kind of has the
same character that do agree, but Brian. Essentially the plot
is about this couple, this gay couple who are introducing
their parents to one another for the first time at
a cabin they rented, but they find out the cabin's
haunted by a four thousand year old poltergeist. Brian Cox

(14:26):
is one of the dads, and then I think it's
Hank from Breaking Bad. He's like the bald guy from
Breaking Bad is one of the other Lisa Kudro's a mom,
and I think Edie Falco is the other mom. Brad
Cox actually low key, real funny, like I like, I
know if like last time I saw him was in
Severance and I was seeing McDonald adds. He voices everywhere,
but he's he's really funny in this.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Was back in the day two. He definitely has a
wide range of abilities act. He can be hilariously funny
or terrifying.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Yeah, but if you need a movie to watch, it's
just something different that's you know, I know, Wicked comes
out so a lot of people are gonna watching this
weekend something to balance that, So something fun and dark
versus Wicked, which is fun and whimsical. Then you can
watch that this weekend.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Wicked. Hoody what no one?

Speaker 1 (15:13):
I know, no one wants Wicked. But guess what we're
gonna watch in this household this weekend. I'm and pop
it on, like I know we own it already, but
now it's on Peacock.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
So Cream movie right now. Wicked. I want to stand
you got that too, but you know I'm trying, but Wicked.
Wicked wins out every time.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
And then this, Uh it wasn't fortunate, but I'm glad
it worked out. Is Uh. We were gonna go out
for Saint Patrick's Day weekend, but as any pet parent knows,
your schedule drops at the drop of a dime once
your pet gets sick or hurt. So we had to
take into the vet for a slight of an emergency

(15:52):
on Saturday morning because he was yelping a lot whenever
he touched him and he was hanging out by himself.
Uh we're not sure what really happened, but he's on
painkillers now and now he's acting normal, So I think
this man might this man might be a druggy over here.
He just wants some bills he just fixed. You can't
give me some of that. I need some good stuff
right now, open you got any of that? Come on?

(16:18):
But yeah, uh, moral story is if you do have
a pet, uh not them, be your priority over going out,
especially if you've gone out a lot. You know you
ca'd stay in and hang out with your pet, make
sure they're okay instead of saying, here's your pills and
going out and.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
So yeah, like me get a cat and they can't
take take care of themselves.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
But here's the thing, Kevin, you also have a dog now,
so you had to take care.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Of My sister and my wife have a dog.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Well you do too, because it all right, all right?
You say that even though I was out for it.
Evan's that dad who's like, I don't want this dog,
and then he's best friends with the dog.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Even though I play with some pets all the time
and I'm the cool up with the dog, I'm not
the parents of the dog.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
It's gonna be like other help And Ken's like who
Ken's like, you're a bastard. I don't know who your
father is.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
I see all dog taking care to the zoo keeper,
the license keeper in the house.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
They can have your home animal. Kevin, let's get onto it.
That's all I got. It is time for the news.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
But it's.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
First things First. We have to talk about a show
that you need to watch on Hulu and why is
it part of the news and not what you're doing. Well,
Kevin watched it then told me to watch it. It
is real good. So we're gonna talk about it in
the news.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
It is a really good show. I'm gonn break it
down a little bit.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Yes, we are going to booke break down the first
season of Paradise. You all know. Oh that's not good.
That hit the wrong button. Hold on, hold on now.
I wanted to go to reaction theater. I was like, no,
we don't have a trailer. I'm not showing it wrong

(18:14):
but wrong button. We'll look at that later. But Kevin,
we're talking about Paradise season one and you were the recommender,
so you get to tell everybody what it's about before
we go down deep dive with it.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
I could. I could read the whole premise, but it
was kind of the spoilers. Do you want to spoil
the premise?

Speaker 1 (18:32):
Just do the first episode, I guess cool.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Yeah, So Paradise is a show about Sterling. K. Brown
plays Man Carro's name is Zavia Collins. He is the
lead agent on the President's secret service team and he
actually finds the president did and we got to figure out.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Who done it, and the president is James Marsden.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
James Marson Dad again again cops. Then this, oh guys,
and then what was what was his name on? On
on a West World they got killed and bring them
back to life.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
I forget. I forget West World season one and one
and half a season two good. And then after that
we were so close to getting Jurassic World and a
TV show and you're like, oh it makes.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Sense, no right there, and I was like, nah, I
don't want to do that.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
No, it's okay, but Kevin, so yeah, so use a
secret service agent for the president who dies. But we
find out this first episode spoilers, but there's eight episodes.
Is the main premise? Why did the Where are they?
Is the actual thing? Because not DC, So they are
not in d C.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
They are in an underground bunker in Colorado. Three years
after that doomsday event happened in the world basically a
volcano erupted in an Arctica or last Antarctica. Yeah, and
covered the whole world in ash. And it's not Liverpool anymore.
But these certain twenty five thousand people, because they are
the most important and rich and all that kind of stuff,

(19:58):
they're living in a bunker everywhere. It's everywhere, and it's
it's quote unquote paradise.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
And yeah, here's the thing. In the first apps, you're like, oh,
it's okay, okay, this is kind of more a political
threll and carrying like, oh, whoa, they're doing Silo a
little bit slash, a little bit of Fallout here at
the same time, let's go.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
Who spilled science fiction in my field?

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yeah? And it is where Yeah, if you've seen shows
like Silo and Fallout, it's same premises to degree both
of them heavily too. Also, like yeah, like we gotta
stay in the in parent the dome. We can't go
outside the dome. We don't know what's outside there. People
know where we are. It's going to endanger the dome.

(20:41):
So I know that's just a theme that we're all
picking up now and dystopian domes or something for twenty
twenty five.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
It was a CBS show called Under the Dome. Remember
that show that's like mid two thousands.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
It's domes are the Rage twenty five? I guess yeah,
But Kevin, what did you think about the show? Overall?
We all do spoilers just because it's pretty good Slash.
One of the big spoilers is until like the last
episode you're like, oh yeah, that that plot thread I
forgot about.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
I think overall this show was an okay though, because
I mean I saw a lot of promotion for this
show before it started, because I mean Sterla King Brown
as an aleus actor basically gonna be in the show.
That's cool. It's about the president dying, huh to that
million times? I mean, what the Jimmie Foxx movie, what
was the White House Down? It is the one with
Gray Butler, not the one came what was called but

(21:33):
like another see the President has fallen? Yeah, we've seen
his presence a lot of times. And basically every every
Harrison fort movie in the nineties about the president and
shot that was all yea whatever. And it wasn't until
I was in Disney World and when we were at
the Parking Walk Life flatching this show and I'm sitting
there in my morning cereal and I'm just like, wait
a minute, where are they? Like, well end oh yeah,

(21:57):
the rock. I see what's going on. So once I
bought in and we'll actually watch the show. I mean,
the acting is great, the cast meshs really well. They
really make you hate their attackings in the show.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
She is yeah from the get gouts and you're like, okay,
can we please Okay they're doing saving her for the
show is getting a season two. They save her for
season two, I guess, and even the.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Characters that was kind of the support characters to certainly
Kate Brown's character you go to love too, and then
there are I mean, I hate to say it, because
again it is political science fiction. There are a lot
of I guess similarities to the president of this show
and our current president, but this one's a lot more leveable.
I'll say that.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yes, they also they toe the line of what party
is he like, no, right in the middle, right in
the middle.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
All right, But once you get into this show and
you get it's kind of like kind I don't want
to he says, like avatar, but it's one of those
shows where like you really care about the story, but
once you get involved with with these actual characters, you're
just like on Penzini's like, what's gonna happen?

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Like dog Guy, you know, I don't know his name,
but he's got dog the dome.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
I want to see dog Guy. So my life was
my wife, but I won't see it. Just looks stupid, like,
well you my reason to go see it.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Oh dog man, that's what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
But yeah, I think.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
I think the show's penultimate episodes done really well. It
is very funny, how like we stay in the Dome
for most of the time. The second last episode is
kind of a flashback to how it all started, a
trope a lot in a lot of these eight episodes series,
but very like Day After Tomorrow Slash twenty like to
twenty twelve movie vibes of like we got to get

(23:36):
to this rescue boat, don't know the world's ending stuff,
and like really good set in the White House for
the majority of the episode as well, you know, and
then a.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Lot of the clips from this show, because they don't
tell you about the podcast in the trailers, you just
think they're in the White House.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
They were, Yeah, and that's the thing. Yeah, like Hulu.
And then then he adds I saw I saw the
like that ad of like James Morrison talking to one
of the white staff. I was like, oh, okay, that's
a sincere moment. But I don't know why he's telling
him to go see his family or whatever.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Sure, all right, And also there another character in the
show I had to go down a little bit. They
lead other the other least singing service agent that that
was in the show.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Her name was not Billy.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Robinson. Yeah, she was the one to have an affair
with the with the president. She's also actually in another
show I Love for All Mankind. She was actually the
lady that played the first black astronaut in the show.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Since she has a knack for political thrillers, is what
you're saying, really good, She's.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
Really good in for All Mankind as well, so I
was I also happy to see her.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
I do think I'm trying to think what I'm trying
not to spoil it, but trying to remember how to
phrase this. What you see in the first episode, you
go on a journey to get to the last episode,
for sure, and I'm excited to see that it ends
with all right, what's next? And I really think they

(25:00):
could do a lot. I know Silo kind of ran
into that problem with the second season of like, oh
go back to the sorry lot, we don't want this
outside stuff, and then Fallout's done it well, so it's
really just total the line of what's real and what's
make believe in this political thriller, because we already have
Fallout to a degree, so you kind of got to
make it a little more realistic.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
And then also the show kind of has two antagonists,
well honestly three. There's the person we're talking about it
she sucks. There's a person that is revealed to kill
the president. I'm not gonna tell you all of a sudden,
but that's one antagonist. The third antagonist that is almost
like a ninja. And when you find out her, my
guff in, my guy to be who she.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Is, Yeah, I texted you that. I was like, she
wanted this, that's what she wanted. That she killed people
for this.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
And if you're you're a listener about our show from
day one, there's something that's very near and dear to
your heart.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
And then you're like, wait, when did they go into
the Silo base or whatever, like they in that timeframe.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
It makes her a pure psychopath and you're like, this
one's like the wow card from Always On in Philadelphia.
It's like, oh my gosh, you did all of that
for that.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Okay, okay, but yeah, I do think at the end
of it does have good reveals to a degree. I
know a lot of it was kind of pushed for
in that last episode, but they're well worth your time.
Definitely check it out. It's only episodes two and they
go by quick once you get in that hook of
the first episode as well.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
This is a perfect show if you have a significant
other or if it's just you by yourself a Saturday,
you wake up around with ten o'clock, you're done.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
It and it gets the official crisis Wife approved because
both our wives like the show so exactly. That's a
new sound effect we needed to find. Wife approved. Wife approved.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
I'm walking on tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Welcome Okay, okay, but yeah, check it out. It's on Hulu.
It did get it for a season two up earliest.
It will probably come out as twenty twenty six, unfortunately,
but good news, Hulu finally got a winner, finally for
a show that got everyone us hooked to watch it.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
And as not as depressed against the other show with women,
but the shows.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
Like Handman's Tale, Handmade s Tale. Yeah, yeah, because I
can't watch that show too depressing, and especially because Hulu
is really a lot of home for like, let me
watch my ABC shows or my FX on Hulu shows
like Shadows and the Bear. It's good to see Hulu
have an original, you know, it's just like, all right,
it did something good. Finally, the old school shows like

(27:35):
like Rescue Me and the Shield. The Shield was rescuing
me as the fire one right, yeah, the Fire Nip Tuck.
That's another one. Classic, Like I.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Can't really name I can't name shows I don't watch.
I can't I name a bad reviewed one though.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Yeah, well, and that is interesting. Just speaking of FX,
technically it's Hulu to a degree because most people watch
on Hulu. Anywy, Remember that Alien Earth is coming to
FX slash Hulu this summer, and Noah Hawley, who's done
Fargo and has done Legion, is the director slash creator
of that show. So Alien could be taken out, the

(28:15):
Alien Frencher could be taken up to a note.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
That's gonna be great because the alien and predator French
are on like a I don't want to say a
renewal or like a comeback reconnaissance, but they're coming and
they do them right.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
I mean, yeah, So I know Alien rom this I
preach out the rafters last year for me, one of
my favorite movies last year. I think they finally got
got the stuff. And I know Predators got Prey Too
or whatever that's supposed to come out this year at
some point, so we could be getting an A v
P three Kevin.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Done the right way where it's not so dark you
can't see.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
It's super bright, you can't it's too bright now you
can't see anything. Too much white, too much lens flair. Dammit.
But Kevin, let's go from topalking about one show that
had Sterling K. Brown in it to another show that
had Sterling K. Brown in it, mainly as a feeling
angstrom Levy, it's time to talk about season three of Invincible,

(29:12):
so let's once more break it down. So Invincible season three,
the finale officially happened it technically as of right now,
is one of the show's highest rated episodes ever at
a nine point nine, which is really rare for a

(29:35):
lot of shows to have. I think like Breaking Bad.
It has a lot of those and all that good stuff.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
But season three was.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
The Conquest episode which Kevin, who the hell'd that be?

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Conquest is kind of like I guess the filter Might's hulk, like,
we have an army, we have a hault. He's the
guy that said they send out to close the deal
if literally nothing else can happen. This guy comes out,
he's like, what two thousand years old, and he's just
a tank. He's just a tank. And when he comes there,
you know, might bean business basically.

Speaker 1 (30:07):
Uh. And this this episode really echoed a lot of
that season one finale. I know a lot of people
kind of love hate on that of they kind of
did the greatest hits of Mark's fight against Nolan aka
omni man, but this guy was bulkier and Nathanos comment,
but man was it was pretty good. I think this

(30:28):
last episode in this one, we're great one two punches
of like this is where all the budget went for
animation this season. Uh, instead of animation and obviously the
voice cast. The need to stop hiring a list actors
on everything. It's get some b tears. It's fine, so
you can keep animation going, you know.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
Yeah, I don't been vocally kind of not not bad
the show of man on the show this year, but
this this finale was like, oh, this is it, this
is what I've come here for. I mean, I get
we can ask a question of one of the things
to be a herold you kill, you're not killed. But
the end of the day, Invincible was about bloody, bloody fights,
and this just gave you everything you wanted in a bloody,

(31:05):
bloody fight.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
So pretty much at the whole fight we see Conquest
is kind of pretty much beating Mark one two punch.
We know his what's his brother's name? The shoot Oliver,
There you go, Oliver, There you go. Oliver tries to
chime in through the fight a lot but gets beat.
He's almost stretched to death. So that kid's got some

(31:28):
height now for sure. Uh, con almost rips him apart.
But Mark comes in, beats up, conquests a degree. I
think they go to a beach town and kill everybody,
and that one kid broke his arm. Mom took it
and you're.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
Like, oh no, there's a funny TikTok videos hold this weekend.
I was an infancile TikTok after after the finale and
there's a guy that capture on the thing saying I'm
so tired of this invicible fight Icago, I'm coming to
this beach to enjoy my life.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
But Adam or Eve does also wake up in the
hospital from her como recovery. Uh, since his market finds
out Mark needs help, immediately puts on a mech boot,
her mech suit, goes in, gets your ass handed to her.
Unfortunately dies. Uh. But if if you watch the Atom Eve.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Prequel, I love that prequel so much.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Prequel series show whatever, Uh you find out, well, Eve's
got some magic to her and uh turned into we'll
just say celestial form or something as of right now,
recuperated her body and handed conquests ass back to him.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Maybe at the end of the day, maybe the one
of the strongest characters or not the character in the
Invisible universe, because I mean she controls things on the
elect level. That's a big deal. So I mean if
she dies, he's like, no, no, here's one, here's one
good stuff on my body. I'm alive again. I'm good.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
But then we get to the pretty much Eve does
burn conquest alive and pretty much most of this episode
is like a fight episode two degrees. So it's easy
for us to sum it up because it is just
the main fight. She burns conquests. You think, Okay, nope,
he's still not out. But Mark gets super strong on
skin looking forward internally and beats up Conquest much alike

(33:23):
to how he beat up Angstrum Levy shove it in
his face. I think at this point Mark just needs
to like just tear their head off and just pushing them,
because we find out obviously Conquest lives, and the GDA
takes him to study Vultamites, which definitely won't backfire them,
and all, yeah, theathing to do. Yeah, that's been spoiled

(33:43):
to me because the TikTok spoiled that immediately. Mark just
needs to kill people. But Mark does come the realization that,
you know, if anyone wrongs him or goes against his family,
he's finally said it decided that he is going to
kill him and not hesitate.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
Finally, I mean, if once he turns out of me,
touch my girls, I'm gonna say, I mean, I'm not
looking for violes every day, but I mean, if you
touch my girls, you welcome it into your life.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Out of nowhere. But yeah, and then really that's where
the episode properly ends, because then, as typical Invincible, we
cut the credits. Uh, and then there's more to go
and more to tease and what's to come.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
Yeah, I'm coping this would be and Alan the alien tease.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
But we got a lot of one offs, a lot
of one off.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
It's all good though, so that this one, I'm pulling
them up right now we get to go back to
a guy I forgot about season one, dark Blood mixed
with a demon overlord to help RedState him as Hell's ruler,
exploding a powerful being on Earth, and I'm guessing that's
going to be an unvert of comments. Is that gonna
be Nola' Is that gonna be Conquests?

Speaker 1 (35:02):
I believe it's gonna be Invincible. But the cool thing
is yet, So there's a lot of one us will
obviously go through a couple of them. But Damian dark Blood,
I forgot about him too, and I was like, Oh,
that guy was in a trench coat. He was like
a detective, like hell Boy to a degree in season one,
then disappeared. This that storyline is like an original show storyline,

(35:24):
so to have his hasn't happened and in any of
the comic sor graphic novels, So I'll be interested to
see how that goes. The thing with Invincible is a
lot of dangling threads, and you don't know where we're
gonna go and where we're gonna pull from. Because at
at the beginning of the season we all thought, all right,
great Omni Man and Alan the Alien are gonna come
through and save the day. We haven't seen him since
like what episode two or three, three times this whole season,

(35:47):
but also on this at the end of the episode,
we see Battlebet survives, the salvage crew rescues in and like,
I see alive and he opens his eyes. I'm ready
for them all the challenge and you're like, all right,
he probably killed those guys right there, and.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
You probably killed that venture mine too, because I don't
see that guy around anyway.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
He did, like like we said before, Conquest is kept alive.
We find out that also the g DA is having
UH is a d a Sinclair, turning all the dead
marks from the Invincible Multi War UH into the robot
corpse skies too, which is cool because then they kind
of had they have vulture mines technically on their side

(36:26):
as well, makes sense.

Speaker 2 (36:28):
I wish they would. This is just me being being
extra give like markt like, it's like a linked in
a week and control kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
I mean, who uh. And then the last one, I
think one of the other ones, I guess the other
main one is that we get the return of the Secoids,
the little squid alien things that are like, yep, they're
coming back. They've been brooding under underneath the city the
entire time, and they will come back and do more
alien invasion again.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
I'll use for that. That's That's the one thing I
don't really like about in Vincible, the shows, the comic.
I don't like, we already defeated Ekstrom. We already defeated
these squid. Why are we going back?

Speaker 1 (37:05):
Let's go forward?

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Yeah, come on.

Speaker 1 (37:07):
Also forgot to mention that we do cut back to
ngrum Levy with string k Brown.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
He is talking with the technicians again and we find
out that their play is about to begin. So a
lot of pulling the threads. I think a lot of
people have looked at the compendiums and we're about so
there's like three big compendiums where one about a third
and a half through so we got we got two

(37:32):
thirds to go, I would say most likely. So hopefully
we get the season six of this show, because that's
really you know, if we can get there.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
And then if they're still planning to do a lot
of extra movie.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Right at some point, there's also supposed to be a
video game. Will will we still be interested in Vincible
by the time we get there, Who knows, but time
will tell.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Game will be interesting.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
I think if they're gonna do in a video game,
I think they do need a campbellois no, because if
that video game comes out when it's like the final season,
like all right, and guess what, you can go back
to season one now and do the season one storylines
and everything.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Also, what would be what it would be like Spider
Man esque would be got a War esque, whereas like
Batman esque. Batman is interesting how they pull that off.
We'll just be a boring mobile game.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
And it will be interesting too that if they do
a move for both, if they do the movie and
the game, do they stay true to the show because
that is now most people's main interpretation, or do you
go to the comics because comics are dated and a
couple of people don't exist or look completely different or
gender swapped.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
We'll find out.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
You know what is this true source material now in
twenty twenty five, it's it's kind of the same thing
as like Last of Us right now, like everyone thinks
Peedro Pascal and Bello Ramsey, that's your Joel and Ellie,
But for longest time it was it was Troe Baker.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
You know, I do val though, we talk about season
four next year that we will have the transition. So
whenever say invisible, we'll hit a hit a button and
you'll see the main title screen. We're never gonna say
the game after.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
This, we'll work on that. Well, that is something we
both have to work We both won that, Kevin. But
that was Invincible season three's finale. Before we do get
talking about Severns though, Kevin, we do have to talk
about season threes. Percy Jackson just got renewed for a
third season.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
We haven't gotten the second season yet, baby, congratulations. Ay Drogon,
I don't she is excited about that. I saw it
early Saturday morning, and then when I woke up for good,
I was like the first thing I saw my Dady
Drogon On pross about it.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
Love that I knew she loved that, So this is
hot on the heels of the show winning a lot
of I think Daytime Emmys. I think one. I think
it's sweeped every category was nominated one because all three
of the main cast all had Emmy Awards, and there
were different awards each to one, so great for them,
proud of that. I mean, that show is really good.
I think really it's wild to think that came out

(39:53):
a year ago recording or a year and some change.
But season two is a post to release most likely
in December over January being your December January Disney Plus show.
But it getting renewed for season three is great because
we're gonna start going beyond what we saw in the movies,
you know, so we're gonna see more when we get

(40:14):
to having only spinoffs, we'll find out because I know
there are a lot of the spin offs and everything,
but we're getting there, which is great.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
Like I said before, the first season was good. I
don't think I needed was more money. Needs more investment,
needs a little bit more investment into not even just
like the the effects, like the set pieces, the actual
sets where they feel like that show gonna use about
and I think the spey, but like another ten million,
maybe it gonna make a little difference, and it showed
it would make That was a good show, like, oh

(40:43):
my god, that was a great show. Yeah, So hopefully
it gets to that in this second and third season.
I can't remember what you told me about the books
during the first season. How many seasons do you think
this will be going forward?

Speaker 1 (40:56):
It could be a lot. I mean for me, I
am read the first two books, so I didn't and
obviously had the two movies, so I that was to
my knowledge, but I know it's it's had. There are
a lot of books, and like I said, there are
a lot of technically spinoffs, which there was tea's of
certain characters in the first season that are part of
those spinoffs. So I think luckily, I really when we

(41:19):
talked about this is the first season, Percy Jackson was
comparing it to Willow of like, oh, I really hope
Disney Plus saves this because like you can have a
built you already have a built an audience, and only
grow Willow was the same thing a little bit smaller.
But now that Percy Jackson has won awards, it's harder
to cancel a show like that versus A Willow which
didn't win a lot.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
You know, Percy Jackson has a little bit more name
recognizance than.

Speaker 1 (41:44):
We and its it's accessible too to the whole family.
Where Willow was really a child of the eighties thing,
you know, and I watched it because it was lucasfilm,
you know. But Percy Jackson's had the books, It's had
the movies and obviously, like the books have gone on
multiple generations now that you can watch it and it's
if not all else fails, you haven't read the books.

(42:07):
It's a teen show, you know. To a degree.

Speaker 2 (42:10):
What I was saying about more money, think they also
could be the opposite. They could figure out a way
to make this show very cheap and it could just
be a really cheap show of Disney to make and
keep the quality going. Maybe just doing a couple of
extra things here and there. So may not mean that
need a full, full, full show budget, So that could
be others why they got quality out of out of
that much. Maybe it's a little bit more you can
give the more quality, So it could be one of
the cheaper shows me to.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
Make, but exciting and we'll probably get some more info
maybe a trailer Comic Con at D twenty three something
like that this year. Do you want to mention though,
this is a quick hitter that Lucasfilm will be having
an animation panel at Star Wars Celebration this year. It's
like a month from now and they will be teasing

(42:51):
the next Star Wars series that it's animated. So I'm
excited to see what that is. Just Disney Plus y
obviously be on Disney Plus.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Most likely too the speculation start.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
I think, really, if you just do han Lean Luke
and it's the Adventures of Them post Return of the Jedi,
I think, or or.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
Or the Adventures of her name but the little girl
from the Bad.

Speaker 1 (43:14):
Batch, Omiga can make a cameos. Omiga can be Yourska
like Rebels.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
Just saying and then she makes a lot of loss. Brother. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
So obviously, like Star Wars news has kind of been
on a pause because they're saving it all for Star
Wars Celebration. I know there's a new video game Respawns
working on as well to a degree. Uh, and then
the developers of ExCom are working on a Star Wars
game as well. So fun things for Star Wars on
the Horizon.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
You don't still having to beat Outlaws. I don't even
go back to it. I believe.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
I will tell you, Kevin, just as a post mortem
on Star Wars Outlaws. I am playing the DLC, which
tells you something because Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor didn't
have DLC and we're like, where's the DLC for these games?
And this did, like who didn't need?

Speaker 2 (44:06):
This?

Speaker 1 (44:08):
Did teach me how to play the BACH. So that
was great because I know how to play the BAC
and it is very close to one of the games
my grandparents played. So I can bring the Star Wars
cards over and we can play the BACH and they'll
get it.

Speaker 2 (44:18):
And I'll say it again, it's not a bad game.
It's just boring.

Speaker 1 (44:22):
I think it's just.

Speaker 2 (44:24):
I don't know what it was missing.

Speaker 1 (44:26):
I think really what it was missing was unfortunately, like
we love having these original storylines in Star Wars exped
the universe, but it's like, all right, I want to
the game mechanics didn't work, which hindered it a lot.
And obviously it's a lot better now since updated many
many times, But there wasn't fun in that game. I

(44:46):
think that's what this Sabac was fun, which is why
a lot of people praised the Subac part of that game.
But it was like, all right, sneak, okay, cool hack
to a degree, and a lot of people like myself
turned it to auto hacking and so we could get
through things faster.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
You know, this wasn't a gon to join in the game.
The game played Luke wasn't satisfying at all.

Speaker 1 (45:05):
And I think comparing it to Falling Order and Survivor,
you know, the secondary characters also were integral. Like we
talked about Mayorn the entire time, we root for a
girl maryn greasy money. You know, you had I forgot
her name, but you had ball Jedi forgetting Yeah, I
forgot her name. Body was a bad guy. Survivor was great.

(45:28):
Whereas the secondary characters of Star Wars Outlaws were there,
they didn't really do anything. They and they really did
try to go for that mass effect vibes of okay,
here is you know, the same sort of concept, you're
recruiting everybody and they're going to help you out. They
didn't really. They stayed in the same position as the

(45:48):
whole damn game until the final mission, were you're like, oh,
where the hell have you guys been the whole damn time?
And then okay, bye, you guys are gone.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
Okay, all right, they were they were the Muppets Street
that went, the main Muppets.

Speaker 1 (45:59):
Their side uppets set dressing uppets. Then that was uh
huh no line just got h yeah, that's right. Al
if you make Kermit homo, I don't care. But if
it is on Seal, I mean it's Star Wars. It's
got the vibes there, so Star Wars and.

Speaker 2 (46:19):
The ship stuff is kind of cool.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
That's for me. Ships in spot, anything that starts with
that's in Star Wars, it's great. So yep, exactly. But Kevin,
speaking of words, to start with the letter s, let's
break down the latest episode of Severn.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
Uh So.

Speaker 1 (46:44):
This was the penultimate episode of seven season two, which
is wild that the finale is already literally here this week,
literally less than four days as his podcast recording. And
uh this episode was common to me for a little
bit of a holy pattern. But let's move slightly a
degree forward, but not a lot, just an inch. You know,

(47:04):
my dear sweetdie Dylan peace, you got cheated on, or
Audi Dylan got cheated on?

Speaker 2 (47:14):
He just wanted to be He just wanted to He
just wanted to be loved.

Speaker 1 (47:19):
Damn it.

Speaker 2 (47:24):
That was what I know anything else, But for me
it was like, oh, poor Dylan, he just wanted to love.

Speaker 1 (47:30):
Yeah, And it was really interesting that this episode, really,
you know, we have our I call it the core four.
Uh you know, they call it the micro Enhancement. Dad,
I would thingy whatever it's core for. It's his thing
from scream. Uh, all separated, kind of all going alone
on their own journey, and we all know going alone
isn't the best tactic to do certain things. Because Helly

(47:51):
gets caught by her real daddy and you're like, oh,
what's the situation. She didn't know who you are, but
you are the father, you know. Technically, Irving gets booted,
leaves on a train, and then Dylan, like you just
said it, just wants to love and is rejected. And
then Mark's just chilling outside.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
So Mark Mark Marks in the cabin like, hey, I'm
being first. He's in the truck. He's in the cabin.

Speaker 1 (48:14):
Oh, I'm back, alright, I'm back. Oh all right, let's go.
But really, yeah, just showing that the core foroard kind
of going alone isn't what's gonna work. I guess we'll
just kind of go through each plot line of each character,
because that's not really how the show worked. This this episode,
we find out Helena her and her dad do live
literally like half of my half block away from the

(48:37):
Lumin Building the Lumen water Tower, which is the beginning
of the episode. Find out that she and her dad
still have that distanced relationship, so really she's alone in
her own personal life. But when she's Helly, she's got
friends at least a found family. But she does obviously
go down to the severed floor. She tries to push

(48:58):
Dylan to you know, take Irving's advice and follow you know,
the hang in there sign, which I found. I was like, oh,
that's Dylan holding the things on there. That's kind of funny.
But Dylan does it. We'll get to that in a second.
Why not, But Helly tries to memorize it. I don't
know why. She just didn't take the damn napkin with
her to just follow where to.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
Go write it on her hand like yeah, left right, bet.

Speaker 1 (49:23):
But eventually, you know, she stayed late at work and
she gets caught by her real life dad and is
like I knew you would betrayed me to or something
along those lines, and that's where her story ends.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
If he's the head of care, he would know that
that's not his daughter, that's the seven daughter.

Speaker 1 (49:42):
You would think that. Also, Helly did have this great
line of mill check of like, you know, I'm not
Helly or I'm Helly e you know, for Egan and
he's like, you know, up there you're my boss, but
down here you are my subbortinate. He's like, sure, I am,
you know, no, I'm about I'm tired of being Milchake
was tired of this episode. He was that tired. At

(50:03):
the end of the semester, I was like, I don't
care anymore. I just want to get down with this.
Can we move on to the next one?

Speaker 2 (50:10):
Heyday is Friday, and I'm going to the bar.

Speaker 1 (50:12):
I don't care about Cold Harbor anymore. But I guess
we'll go to Dylan Kevin. What happens to Dylan?

Speaker 2 (50:19):
Dylan?

Speaker 1 (50:20):
Any Dylan? I guess, yeah, any Dylan.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Well to the whole story. Gretchen tells how he didn't that, yes,
he actually kissed any Dylan, and then Dylan freaks out,
As you know, one.

Speaker 1 (50:30):
Would technically an affair technically, but.

Speaker 2 (50:34):
It's still an odd thing. He had an affair with you,
but wasn't you. But well, that's just how the show.
The show is. So Gretchen goes to meet.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
Which is Dylan's wife by the way, in case people.

Speaker 2 (50:42):
Don't know, Gretchen Dylan's wife, goes to meet Any Dylan
and that a little special meeting place, and Bessie tells
her that I can't really see you anymore because I'm
married to my husband.

Speaker 1 (50:53):
It's not you.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
I'm sorry. And then cute, little innocent, our little buddy
Dylan pulls out a little paper ring and proposes to
Gretchen and said, no, I can't do it. He walks away,
and Dylan let us talk this screech of.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
Her name, and it was very case you didn't know,
Zach Cherry is the dude flip spider man. It was
very close to like that dude, and I was like,
all right, and he and that man is broken.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
And the funny thing was when she talked to Autidling
earlier and told what happened, he threatened to quit and
kill any Dylan. But what happened to end up happened
is that any dealing was so broken, broken hearted, he quit,
and basically, I mean, if you want to think about
like shooting people, he committed suicide.

Speaker 1 (51:36):
Yes, go up the elevator, key back, Yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (51:41):
He's gone wait with an elevator. He got an elevator
and that's it.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
Dylan's gone for now, which is no lookie guard.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
I said, we don't know what's gonna happen next, because
I mean, he did this earlier in the season because
he got fired and came back, So now what happens
next if he's in the episode ten.

Speaker 1 (51:56):
It is interesting though, just because I remember season one heavily,
like if you get fired or quit, you have to
go up the staircase, whereas this is the elevator, so
I don't know that's gonna be something different, like he
can reactivate again, whereas the staircase cuts off the connection.
But just so interesting that it also had had.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
The precess set there, like different rooms, different people in
Marx's life, so maybe his elevator is different. Now he's not,
he's not dealing anymore. He's I don't know, Chris.

Speaker 1 (52:24):
Maybe it could be a point too, but then we
do cut to uh, so we don't know what's happening
with Dylan. At the end this episode, irving story is
he does find Bert at his house, his dog staring
at him. Turns out Bert has kind of been a handler,
a fixer for Lumen for many years, which is when
his husband slipped a couple of episodes ago that Bert

(52:49):
originally kind of like takes care of the problems for Lumen,
kind of that one guy in season one that got killed.
But he's severed to you know, get get more innocence,
become you know, a better person, and obviously fell in
love with Irving. But so he kind of indirectly helps
Irving get out of town because you know, Luman is

(53:09):
gonna come after him if he does. Press buttons even more.
Irving tries to connect with Bert shades of the first
season as well. Bert says I can't. Irving says, I'm ready.
They don't kiss. That's okay. I didn't think it was
gonna happen anyway, like Christopher Walking was gonna let that happen. Well,
who knows. But Irving does get on a one way

(53:30):
train with his dog, telling Bert. Bert tells him, you know,
don't tell me we're getting off. Just go as far
as he can. So Irving is technically written off. I
don't think he is. I think he's gonna come down. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:40):
Well my main questions about this I think is number
one not really a question, but there's a prevailing theory
that Bert was never severed. He pretends he is good,
But that's one theory. Second theory. Second question was, I
know there are a lot of trains that take pets
that are like Teddy size. That's a big dog.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
Big. No he paid, You're paying a whole ticket for
that dog. Okay, just got a sine it's Alaska or
wherever Looman is, you know.

Speaker 2 (54:06):
Also, I do think that Irving is going to like,
you know, save Today Batman crashing through the glass style
at some point the next episode they need him to.
It's not really all the way gone, and unfortunately that's
gonna be his heroic like death.

Speaker 1 (54:19):
Yeah, I do think we might get a death in
the finale. But I think you do need to have
that core cast together for the show to work, really,
because yeah, sure, Helly is great the ACTRESSI plays at
obviously Adam Scott's greatest mark. But having Irving and Dylan
and obviously Milcheck to a degree. It just rounds out
the cast, I think, and just be like, oh man,

(54:41):
I really love this cast of this show doing well.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
You know, hopefully we get like like like straighter things
about it. We haven't seen the whole cast together. It
is like season two.

Speaker 1 (54:48):
Who knows. But then Mark's storyline pretty much he fakes
not going into work so that he can meet with Coobyl,
the Cobel. Cobell does take Mark and his sister to
the Egan Cabins the Birthing Cabins or something. Sure, okay,
they smuggle them in and then all of a sudden,
Mark is severed back into his severed body. When he

(55:12):
goes through into one of the cabins, he meets with
Cobel and she looks like she's a demon lady in
front of the fire, which is why weird. And then
we pretty much get the hint that Mark is going
to be talking with Audi. Mark is gonna be talking
with any Mark in some way in the finale next
week or this week.

Speaker 2 (55:31):
So what do you think Cold Harbor is? I?

Speaker 1 (55:37):
I think what it is is these are severed processes
to manage certain things. So like Mark is scared of death,
so Cold Harbor I think is death. Like I know
Gemma like was doing dentists, was doing like things she hated.
I think these are ways for Luhman to make the

(55:59):
severance process work and more readily applicable to like a
pharmacy drug. Oh, I want to forget this thing. Take
the severn spell.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
That thick is also a way for women to get
cheap employees, because if somebody say dies of natural causes,
but the body is still fine, maybe once that brain shuts.

Speaker 1 (56:16):
Off, sort're thinking invincible vibes here. Well the body's still good.

Speaker 2 (56:19):
Okay, SOIP kicks in and now you just went for
uman and nobody else sees you got.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
Anyway that's true, that that is true.

Speaker 2 (56:26):
I also think it's a way they want to bring
back the original pure.

Speaker 1 (56:30):
Guy, which I don't know if like at this point,
I'm like cool. The funny thing is, as we talked
about predictions for the finale this week, uh, you know
Milchick was the MVP of this episode, Miss h Miss
Wang unfortunately finished her Winter Tide fellowships as she's being
shipped off somewhere else with Lumen, but from Milchick telling

(56:53):
her to destroy her toy. Uh to everyone disrespecting Milchick
and the seventh floor, like the hell you just being
like I don't care if you're if I'm your subordinate,
not opening the door for him, Dylan just dropping his
uh his hall pass on Milchick instead of giving it
to him. Uh. And then it leads to Milchick obviously
confronting I guess another lumin employee. I don't know what

(57:16):
his name is or his title is. He's he's higher
up in Lumen, big guy saying you know, yeah, the
big guy tells him, you know, like simpler words, you
use too many big words, and miltiic's f it uh,
you know, like deter fagelants eat eat ship. It's fine,
That's what it meant.

Speaker 2 (57:33):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (57:34):
And Milchick really standing in his ground and like you're like,
all right, good for him, good for him? Of like, hey,
my problem are my problems I have to deal with
are on the seven or floor? Anything outside that's your
jurisdiction too.

Speaker 2 (57:50):
Really right, Like yeah, if then I ain't my problem.

Speaker 1 (57:53):
You gotta get him here. I deal with the ones here. Uh.
Interesting though, is we see that Mark tells me I'll
check when he's trying to like call out sick that
you know, Oh it's just a work day. It's okay,
no big deal. And I think work is just work.
We're seeing certain the characters that are in the mantra
of Lumen and the doctrine of all that stuff for
disillusion themselves from it now, which is good.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
So this season I think did a lot more to explore.
I know we wanted more character, different stuff. This season.
I think they did a lot more to explore the
world of care and lumin this year.

Speaker 1 (58:27):
I want to know what's with the damn goats? Kevin?

Speaker 2 (58:33):
I saw this one TikTok talking about the sufference. It
was like, so am I wonder with go crap? Like, no,
I can't tell you. I'm clearly work. I go home
every Day's wan like, go crap? Any work with gorab
We can't tell you. Just tell me so I can
go somewhere else. I don't know go crap anymore.

Speaker 1 (58:48):
Like at the same time, like Captain Vasma is in there?
What she doing? She was there for five minutes and
she's not been there the show there was guys.

Speaker 2 (58:56):
Clearly they're dressed as goats hiding.

Speaker 1 (58:59):
Among what what was that for? But I would expect
probably this finale to be jam packed, so watch it
as soon as you can above all else, because if
you don't, you're gonna get spoiled.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
Your TikTok fee will be will be inundated with Here's
what I think is going on, as I'm gonna say
as early as nine am Friday, not some times when
all the videos are coming out.

Speaker 1 (59:22):
Yeah, I do think season three is probably definitely happening.
But when we'll get it, we we'll find out. I
don't think we'll get it within a year, probably two years,
so we'll got twenty twenty seven seven season three.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
Maybe they saidthing we're going to now, so I'm I'm
gonna be uptimistic to say next fall.

Speaker 1 (59:45):
I mean, you are right, it's not very too it's
not too heavy on the CGI minus some goats and
some cl some clone bodies, you know, So.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
I'm gonna say next fall.

Speaker 1 (59:53):
But this this would be a cool show.

Speaker 2 (59:55):
I know.

Speaker 1 (59:56):
I noticed it this time, but they started putting the
like after the episode credits of like this is what
kind of we were doing on the episode style? Yeah,
which I love and I just noticed they did it
today or for the last week's episode. So hopefully we
get maybe we get one of like this how Illumine
is maybe at the end of it or something, because

(01:00:16):
this show is really cool. Just darling to know how
it's created and how it's actually like filmed and all
that stuff too.

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
A YouTube video like allumin codex. Basically, here's everything.

Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
Make me a severance video game. I'll play a wait,
it's control. But that is seventh for now. Obviously we'll
be talking about that next Monday to wrap up that
sort of our winter season of television shows.

Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
Kevin, Uh, yeah, I know, yeah, spring time is down.

Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
