Speaker 2 (01:29):
Who are you consoling? Countl No? Was it the person
from the radio awards that you saw looking at No?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
But that was hot shit.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
I literally stood there and watched it and I was like, nah, it.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Made me sense of this anyway, sports, and then the NBA.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah, weekend NBA.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
NBA is Sunday's twelve thirty New Zealand time.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Wait, what did Ella call it? The n what NBA?
Does she know? It's not the NBA, It's the n
d A.

Speaker 3 (02:03):

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Bring it back, guys, bring it back. I'm just enduring
my dinner a curry, no.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Big dinner after what you just did?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
You dump the kids eat the dinner.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
That's what they say.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Are you having your dinner at work?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
She always does Center time. You know you have two dinners.
No works. I just felt like it. I've got some
videos to do.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
So I'm just like a husby busy.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Nope, she hates them. Ah, you guys in a fight.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
No, not this week. This week were loved.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
What was the last thing you had to fight about?
This was recent? What was it? We know what was it?
What was it?

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Was it because you refused to get vaccinated?

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, it was not because she's anti vexed because of needles.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Ryan surprised me as I told him to hey, Ala,
in ten minutes, we're gonna go get a vaccine.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
She said, I don't want to book it, so spring
it on me. So I have to do it.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
And then this last week I didn't hear about this.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
I was just telling Clinton the other day. And then
I went fight or flight mode. You know when that happens?

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Did you?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
And I chose fight mode. I became a massive, I'm
going to say it pitch. I was a pitch. I
was no, I'm not going fuck you? Get out?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
How do you? How do you do this?

Speaker 3 (03:41):
How dare you think you can sit next to me?

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Get out? I totally became a different.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Lady, full fight mode. I feel terrible.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
And then you didn't get it.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
No, he left and got it, and now Ella has polio.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I will do it.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Maybe this week, I just don't want to jab was
coming to.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Us live from an iron lung.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
I'm trying to remember the last thing I had to
fight with my partner about. We only told me fighters
when we're like hungry, hungry, or both really tired, and
then like the tiniest thing sets us off. And when
we're both really tired, neither of us know how to
communicate to get ourselves out of it. Yeah, awful situation.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
It's not good.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Eh.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Our fight's never been anything important, never anything serious. We've
had one decent fight that I can think of, and
it was over parenting. Interesting just communicating, Yeah, us not communicating.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I feel like that's pretty common, disagreements about parenting.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yes, it's just so heightened kids too?

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Was that?

Speaker 1 (04:50):
When was that the fight you told me about where
you want to here we go where she didn't want
to smack your children and you want to be a
smacking f shell pans in the room who got smacked
as a kid, not me?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Fucking shows?

Speaker 1 (05:12):
How dare you so bloody well rounded? I'm well adjusted.
You need to smack it? You never you never got
smacked as a kid. No, the worst that happened to
me was. Mum was really good with like a tea
towel flick playing around.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
She's done as a language barrier here things people overseas.
But by smack you mean like a whack on the
bum cheek from your people?

Speaker 1 (05:38):
What they what do they call it? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
We've got listeners all over the world. They were like,
they used to get.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Smack on the bum. Yeah, tap on the bum, wooden spoon.
To be honest, I spank.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
I had the wooden.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Don't make it wrong. I don't know what talk about that.
I hated when I transitioned from getting smacked on the
bum to getting smacked on the hand. Did you guys
ever make that transition straight? In hand? I was pretty naughty.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
I was not.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
I was a good two shoes. The hand hurts so
much more because there's no meat on the hand. Quite
a lot of meat on the bum.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
But one time Mom did.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
It on my bum anyway, saddle bag as we used
to put books down our pants when we knew were
about to get smacked.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Delarious.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
One time Mom smacked my hand and I go, that
didn't hurt.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
That's a classic.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
And then she did it hard. My mom said to
me She's like, I knew the exact I can remember
the exact moment where I knew I couldn't smack you anymore.
And she hit me and I went, is that all
you got? No?

Speaker 2 (06:44):
No, she does it different.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
She hit you.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Thank you do it harder, harder than come on, mummy, And.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
She's like, I can't do this anymore. Everything you've gone
and said, you can't stop there.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Oh my god, God, that's weird. Why are you making
it weird?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
I don't know why I'm making it weird.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
One time I got this what you you would Lucy
had a fight over. Yeah, you're making it weird.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Stop making the parenting weird. Sorry, Ellie, you were saying
that's all right.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
One time I thought he hid head the wooden spoon,
and then Mum went to go find.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
It and she was like, no, in my experience, the
only households I've even known to actually have and use
a wooden spoon Christian households.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Yeah, I think it was. Mum would change a lot
now for baking.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
And I was like, well, no, no, no, no for
smacking reasons, and it would be it would be hung
Tell me if I'm wrong, it would be hanging on
the wall, so it was always visible. So no matter
what you were doing, where you were playing, what you
were up to, you were under the evil, watchful, ever
watchful eye of the wooden spoon.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
It's all good.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
No, not my house, that's not my house.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
I grew up in a very Christian household and we
didn't have that.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
But my dad, my kids Christian. Huh, your dad, no,
your mom.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Not my mom. But my dad is full Christian.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
But your mom's like, your mom, thing, isn't it?

Speaker 3 (08:10):
He was?

Speaker 2 (08:11):
But your mama's like, don't.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Worry about it.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
So my mom, Yeah, my mom's like, you're all good.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
My mom had to change to Catholicism so she could
marry my dad. That's how intense it was. My dad.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
I definitely had to change to Piscatarianism to marry my wife.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
You should have seen girls before you got here. We're
talking about at lunch today. Clinton used to peddle this
bullshit that he was a piscatarian, and I did not
buy one bit of it.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
It was half. It was half appeasing my wife, not appeasing,
but just trying to make her happy, not that she's
not happy, but you know what, I mean trying to
do the right thing for her and half just virtue
signaling bullshit. And I was like, yeah, it's for the planet.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
It was so annoying.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Okay, sorry that I'm not contributing to Greenhouse guessing.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Were you sneaking burgers on the side whenever.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Would go to my wife's house and damn you need
a steak? And I'm not taking no for an answer.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
I was like, oh no, please, don't you hide it?

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Or would you eat it in front of her?

Speaker 2 (09:14):
Ah?

Speaker 1 (09:15):
You hit it, didn't you?

Speaker 3 (09:15):
No?

Speaker 2 (09:16):
No, no, no, no no no it wasn't. She wasn't.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
What about that day?

Speaker 2 (09:18):
She wasn't like Alice husband, she didn't force me?

Speaker 1 (09:21):
What about that day? Because Clint, when we go to
the pub on Fridays, what did I eat to get
the flear for all the time? And then this one
day he was like, I'm going to get chicken wings
and he got this huge the body The body was
someone something faster.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
A dogy.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
We've all had our vegan period. We've all had I
went vegan.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
You lost your period when you went vegan pretty much
it was.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
At one point I the nutrients, no blood.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Your vegan period.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Alright, guys, I gotta go because I'm going to look
at some wedding venues.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
So let's get this more than that, I want to go.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
So you getting married, don't want to tell you do
you have a partner? I like to I like to
keep things pretty private.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
You can tell me you've got a baby on the way.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Next you're going to speak that baby.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
