Day after Claudia's birthday, we gave her the Nintendo Switch.
How's the Nintendo Switch going so fun?

Honestly all day, I'm like, I don't want to work?
Was the player on my sweat? Was it the best
gift you got from out of anyone? I stayed up
till two am?

Speaker 1 (00:29):

I only asked that because I feel like it was
in contention with what I don't know.

Oh I didn't. I didn't know what else you got?

What else did you get? That would have been the
two megas?

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Right? My friend got me a big old bottle of
vodka because I said I wanted to restart my liquor cabinets.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Big old pancake? What type of vodka?

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Absolute?

Are they getting into? Vodka? Is quite a grown up
thing to do, like as.

My mother and my mother in law enjoys a body

She I just I just don't picture myself ever enjoying

Story from my great grandmother who once I think she
tried to order like a gin and tonic or a
vodka soda, but she said a gin and vodka. She's
such a stubborn woman that when they were like did
you mean that, she said nope. I said what I said,
gin and vodka and had drink a gin and vodka
any good. Well, she'd got through it, probably didn't order.

It again because it is not meant to have any flavor,
but it does.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, it's like methylated spirit.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
I want to be a martini drinker, dry or dirty,
whatever it comes.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I'd say dirty because at least there's a bit of
flavor in the vodka or gin.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
I feel like Gin's quite classy. A gin martini sounds
really classy.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
When I was in Vegas over summer and I was
there by my self, I had the same feeling. I
was like, I won't have a classy drink. So I
went to this bar in a nice location and I
ordered myself a dirty martine.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
But you couldn't drink it.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
I drank it, but like Cordia's grandmother, out of spite,
I was like twenty six dollars for this.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
I will drink.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
That's how much a beer costs at the World Cup.
By the way, what twenty six UIs dollars? Wow?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
One beer forty New Zealand.

Speaker 1 (02:26):

made the whole show and little me characters.

To be honest, I'm pretty proud of that myself. Make
your dream partner?

Should I make like whoever I'm in love with and
then make me and the character I don't know?

What if they don't like each other? Though, what if
there's like weird partner swapping stuff, there's an HR.

Complaint you're not in charge of that.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
You can like advise them, but like, for example, Clint,
your character decided, oh my god, Claudia is so hot
and cool.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
It's just like real life.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
And obviously he was like, should I tell her? And
I said, hey, maybe be friends first, and he went, oh, yeah,
a good idea past yeah, But then he went on, no, actually,
I'm going to do it now, and he did it
and got rejected, and now he's been moping for like
twelve hours.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Oh my god, this game sounds fun.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
It's really coode.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
I like watching you play.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I've been doing it myself.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
What's it called tom or dutchy life, Yeah, it's it's
me's like the little Nintendo me characters. It's fun. It's
like my childhood dream of like when I played Barbie
games and you just make characters all day and then
you're like, cool, I'm down. You start again, make a
new character. Barby on PlayStation computer, computer computer.

I never played that one.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
I was a SIMS player and I loved Age of Empires, which, yes,
you know, it was like building cities.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
I only ever got into some city which was predated
c get the plumbing right. You had to do plumbing,
and you had to do electricity, and you had to
build power plants. I never my whole city up.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Sim City was like the nerd version of the nerd games?

Speaker 1 (04:51):

So it's all play everyone played at school. Yeah, I
never played the SIMS.

You would like it, the SIMS. You can make them
do sixy stuff. Yeah, I want to do that.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
That's not what anyone wants to do.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
No, I don't want to create a video game to
watch my advatars.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
The SIMS is they got too needy. Yeah, I can't
keep up with it. Ye have to put too much
time into it. I always thought it would be what
other games did you guys play? Did you guys ever
play Doom on the computer?

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Doom sounds familiar?

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Doom and Wolfenstein? Play wolf and Stone.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
You guys played Pajama Sam No Pizza Travels Through Time.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I played Sonic the Hedgehog. I love that game.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Yeah, yes, definitely.

Tails Mind Sweeper, I love Mine Sweeper.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
I can solitary go back to this Mine Sweeper.

I also, you know what game I loved on the
PC was Worms? You've got worms? Oh ship? That was
a fun.

Yes, yes, oh yeah, fun so fun. Do you reckon
that still exists?

All it's just googled worms and they're like, if you
have a testinal worms, you should take that.

Worms looms large over us at the moment, doesn't it.

I saw you can get it on the switch Cordia,
can you? Yes, it says you can absolutely play Worms
on the Switch. There are three distinct versions on the platform,
each offering a different style of gameplay.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
All these games are so simple and don't require you
to have a profile or be on the internet, but
they are their own thing. You can just go on
and play. I saw this instagram real the other day,
someone who is getting on nostalgic about their PS two
and they put a picture of their PS tote, the
big one, not the two mini one, and it was
some basic game like FIFA or something like that, and

they were like, no subscriptions, no log and no updates.

That's where it was at.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Man. Yeah, Like, if I don't play my playstage for
a couple of months, it literally takes a day for
it to download bloody updates before I can play. And
by that time, by that time, by that time, I'm like,
I don't want to play anymore.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
That's how I would feel about it.

Speaker 4 (07:27):

I've I brought my sweatch in today.

Yeah, download worms. That's such a good game. And No,
you couldn't play Age of Evampires on Switch that's still
on computer. They do have a new updated version on
computer though, did you ever play that?
