Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the After Party. Hello everybody, welcome to the
After Party on the Brie and Clint show where spring
has sprung. Have you felt it?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Nah.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Have you not?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Not really.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
But you're out walking with the baby and stuff, how have.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
You not felt it? I am out walking so bloody much.
I feel like it's been quite overcast.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
So I haven't got the full.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
But you haven't smelled, Ella's right, you haven't smelled it?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Any freezers near you?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Usually I'm dealt in it. No, not yet.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Not yet. Go sniff some flowers. You know what I
have loved? I love all the cherry blossoms.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
So that's how I know because obviously the temperature has changed,
the daylight hours have changed, but just this morning I
looked out the window and the plum tree in the
backyard or the blossoms have come through. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Plum trees are nice for that. When do plums come out? Summer.
Plum trees.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
High summer. High summer.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
God, this is my area. Yes, it's like right in
the middle of summer.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Like peak summer is all stone fruit. So you'll have
like plums, peaches, nectarines. Cherries also.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
So they're all the stone fruits that come out. Apricots.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
We've got a massive plum tree, old AF plum tree
in our backyard.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
So do we.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Drop it. Just drop the plums.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
We have an old plum tree. What kind of plum tree?
What kind of plums is it producing?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Um, um. with the stone.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
You haven't eaten them?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
I eat the shit out of them.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I couldn't tell you which one it is. Are they
like a dark, dark plum?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I can tell you the difference between a nectarine and
a peach, okay?

Speaker 3 (01:34):
What?

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Can you not? One's fuzzy.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
My wife got mad at me the other day because
she buys yellow kiwi fruit and green kiwi fruit.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
And the yellow kiwi fruit are for the children and
the green kiwi fruit they don't like so they're for us.
And I can't tell the difference.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
The green ones are more sour and the gold ones
are sweeter.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Yes, but when the Skin is on, I can't tell
the difference.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
What? What's like super fluffy and like, and then the other,
like gold kiwis barely have any fluff on them.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
That's what people tell me the difference between a peach
and a nectarine is too. The texture as well.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
You're crazy.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
No, I can tell the difference when I eat them.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
If you had to choose, you can only eat peaches
for the rest of your life or you can only
eat nectarines for the rest of your life. Which one
do you eat?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Nectarines.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Nectarines.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Same.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Same. I like canned peaches. Me too.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
No, canned peach is different. That's like peach lollies.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I don't know. You know what can get in the
bin is a white flesh peach. That's shit. Have you not?
They're at the supermarket. Don't waste your pennies. What?

Speaker 3 (02:38):
You haven't eaten a white lady?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
He's trying to make gross jokes about that.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Ella just asked, you haven't eaten a white lady.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
You children.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Children.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Surely.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Only when they're in season.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah, you don't want to eat them at season. I
used to eat the nectarines on our farm way too
early so they were super hard and then I'd get
the worst pain in my stomach and I'd have diarrhea
for like three days.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Slightly poisonous. Where do you get a white peach from?
They seem like they'd be fancy.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Supermarket. Shut up. We're done with that now. We are done.
On K Road, if you head to K Road, there's
a supermarket called G-A-Y. They've got all the colours of
peach in there, don't they? They do.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
All the peaches of the rainbow.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
To be honest, mostly peaches without fuzz, though. Not too
many peaches with fuzz kicking around.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yeah, fair.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
But if you look hard enough, you could find some.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I actually prefer my peach with fuzz.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
I don't mind either way. No, not me.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
You like a smooth peach.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah. I wash all the fuzz off my peach with
a razor.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
How?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Are we still talking about fruit? Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
If you want to.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Isn't it you that never washes the fuzz off your peach?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
It's everyone.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Clint, you're not washing your peach. You need to wash
it every time. You are the only one. Please tell
me you guys wash the fuzz off your peach.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I don't know if I've ever bought and eaten a peach.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Ella, do you wash the fuzz off before you eat
a peach? I don't wash anything. You're going to have
to if you ever get pregnant.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Why?

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Because that baby needs to be washed.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Do you know, oh, God, I got so sick of
washing everything when Sophia was pregnant. Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Really?

Speaker 3 (04:25):
To wash everything?

Speaker 2 (04:26):
You have to wash everything.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Isn't it good for the baby?

Speaker 2 (04:27):
A little bit of germs?

Speaker 1 (04:28):
No. A little bit of preservative.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah. If you get, like, a certain bacteria, it can
be really, really bad. It'll kill you. All right. Well,
when that happens.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
When I want to get pregnant, I have to stop
vaping as well. You said you were going to stop
when you leave. Yeah. It's four days away.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Oh, my God.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Are you getting pregnant in four days?

Speaker 3 (04:47):
No.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
You better live it up.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
I am. You better chain vape that thing and then
throw it in the bin.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
You know how there's that sad thing that everyone does
on their last day where they pack all their stuff up?

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Are you going to do that on your last date?

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Do I have stuff here?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Or are you doing it bit by bit?

Speaker 3 (05:03):
You have to put your vape in a box.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
And then put the drink bottle that you stole from
Clint in a box.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
I've already taken that home. Where's my version of that?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Brooke stole it. Oh.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Well, you weren't using it, you guys.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
It was up on the locker.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
It has sat up there for like a year, to
be fair. It hasn't been a year. Does it mean
we were never going to use it?

Speaker 1 (05:23):
You were not going to use it. We had a
special day that we were going to use it.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
No, you weren't. If you want it back, I'll give
it back.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
It was today.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Now it's been ruined. It was today.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Today was drink bottle day.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Our 7th of September. And Clint and I, we wandered
over there. We wandered over going.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Oh, today's the day. We said, God, it's been hard
at the moment. But at least we have Drink Bottle
Day to look forward to.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Four more days left. Something Clint and I agreed on
a year ago.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
A year ago when the hard times started.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Something to look forward to.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
And we said we'll know that we've made it through
the hard times on Drink Bottle Day, the 7th of September, 2026.
Do you want this.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Shirt off my back? I would love a shirt. That's
a nice shirt, actually. If you're giving that off, I'd
love it.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
I'll have it.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Oh, that's our shirt.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Take your shirt off. I never heard back from Assembly Label.
That was sad.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Brie and I wore the same shirt to work one
day and Brie's like, I wonder if they'll sponsor us.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Is that how it happens?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I don't know. I'm not good at this influencing stuff.
Can we put a call out for Dyson?

Speaker 3 (06:25):
I'd love an ear wrap.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, we'll put a call out next week.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Should we put a post up and be like, it's
Ella's last day, who wants to sponsor it?

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Dyson notorious for giving away heaps of free stuff.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Yeah, especially after we spent a whole break bagging their
new toothbrushes. Oh, fuck.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah, that's not going to be a good fit, isn't it?
I stand by it. I stand by it.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Did you know, just looking at our DMs the other day,
did you know that we got a message from, am
I allowed to say this, or have you got a
surprise coming?

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Well, we're hoping it'll come.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Should I shut the fuck up?

Speaker 2 (06:53):
They haven't replied. Ooh.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
We got a message from Ninja Slushie.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Oh, now the surprise is ruined. Oh, my God. Clint
and I have been working on this for like six
or seven years.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
And we've been recording and emailing.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
They've been really exciting. And then you guys jumped on
board and got on the train and now it could
be happening.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah, maybe, but they've gone dark. Maybe double email.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Wait, did they message us though?

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Huh?

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Did they reach out to us? They did, yeah. I
was so excited. What did they say? Nothing. It's going
to be Sprite.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
They gave us one.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
There's nothing sacred.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
They gave us one.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
I bet Ella took it.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
And then Ella and Brooke took it.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Okay, here's a question. Put it in the box when
you leave. Let's say, hypothetically, they send... One. They send
one ninja slushie.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
I think it's fair to put all our names in
a hat. I think it's fair so that you two
don't fight and Ella's not here.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
I'll take it. I think as Ella's leaving, it'll be
between me, Claudia, and Clint.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Claudia, sell my gifts. Sykes.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
What do you mean? I wouldn't sell this. She has
done that twice now to you.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Once.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Have you sold that bloody Nintendo Switch we got you? No,
I haven't. I was using it yesterday.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
I've still got the TV. I've still got the Switch.
I just gave away that one candle that you already
didn't want.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
And there was something else. There was one other thing
you gave away.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Did I?

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Yeah, what was it? No, I think it was the concept. Nah,
I hold that tight.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Her white peach.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
That's locked away. And that's what you call a callback. Hey!
What did Ella say?

Speaker 1 (08:25):
She said, that's what you call a callback. Wahey.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
And what did you say before that? Oh, white peach.
That I sold my white peach. White peach. I'd give
that away for free. That's my favourite type of joke.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
It's a good place to leave it, I reckon. See
you guys tomorrow. Bye!

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Four more days! Four more days!
