Speaker 1 (00:00):
Show requested. So here it is.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
As long as you've got da-da-dada. It's ZM's Brian Clint Podcast.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
Look, I made a very bad error today. I thought
I was texting my fiancé. Turns out I wasn't texting
my fiancé. Uh-oh. And I was texting not just a
friend of mine, but a friend of mine who is also.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Famous.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
And someone who I adore and love very much.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
So, look, full transparency. I need to set up. It
wasn't Ursula Carlson, was it? No, it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
You weren't sending steamy text to Ursula Carlson. She would
lap it up.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
It's not a steamy text. It wasn't a steamy text.
It's worse, in my opinion. Okay.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
It's like a soppy, sappy text. Oh, Ursula Carlson would
not appreciate that. She would have ripped me a new one.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
So, look, full transparency.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Obviously, in our household, we have a six-week-old newborn.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
So, a lot of changes happening in our household, good
days and bad days. Yeah. It's an amazing thing becoming
a parent for the first time, but it's also hard.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
It's a rollercoaster. It is a rollercoaster of emotions.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
And I've been doing everything I can to look after
my fiance, Sophia, and our son, Toto. I've just been
doing everything I can to support her, which has meant,
I think, my mental health. It's gone a little bit
by the wayside. So I've had a couple of bad
days here and there.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Understandable, yeah. Right? Anyway, my partner has identified that.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
And a huge thing for me is an act of service.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
And today I was super stressed and.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
I was like, I need to do this and I've
got so much to do because I'd woken up early
and I'd taken Toto out of the room so she
could sleep. And so I've been, you know– I had
the baby all morning. I was trying to keep him
quiet so I didn't have time to do all this
other stuff. Anyway, she's recognised that and she has made
my lunch for me.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
That's so nice.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Which is like a huge thing for me, you know.
And I didn't realise she'd done that. She's gone and
took Toto for a play date with some of her
friends and I was like stressed and I was like, oh,
my lunch. And I've opened the fridge and here's my
lunch sitting for me.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Oh, man.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
It's really sweet and I cried.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
I had a little cry and I was like, that's
so nice. And so. I'm meant to be making you lunch.
I was like, I'm meant to be looking after you.
And I felt very, yeah, very seen. And anyway, I
was running late.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
So I got in the car and as I was
walking to work, I was like, I'm going to send
her a nice message to tell her how much I
appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
And so I opened up my phone and do you
want to hear what the text was? Yeah, go on.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Okay. So the text was, where is it? There's been
a few back and forths now.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
So I said, when I saw that you'd made my
lunch today, I cried. Thank you so much. It means
the world to me.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
I love you. So I sent that text. That's nice.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
To the point.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
And as I've sent it, I've looked back at the
top of the message and realised that that I had
actually text.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Kaylee Bell. They're so good. Immediately panicked. It was like,
how do I attend this? Why did you send it
(03:47):
to Kaylee Bell? Because I had been texting Kaylee.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
Her name isn't even close to Sophia in the dictionary.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Not even close, but I had been texting her this
morning about something else, so she was first in my
text list.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
And I.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
My brain, I'm just so tired. You've got Kaylee Bell
on the brain. Kaylee Bell, literally, boots and all. Oh,
that's so good.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
And so I've just automatically, because normally my partner's at
the top, so I've opened up the text conversation and
sent it to her.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
What did Kaylee Bell say?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Um... Kaylee Bell was really nice because I fully panicked
and was like, how embarrassing?
Speaker 2 (04:25):
And I was like, how do I unsend it? How
do I unsend it?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
And after like five minutes, I realised you can unsend it.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Oh, okay.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
And so I've unsent it, but then it says in
the text thing, you unsent a message.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Unsent a message, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
And then she was like, did you just unsend something?
And then she said, I didn't see anyway. I was
deep in a week's worth of washing. And I have
the feeling that she has seen it.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
She's just trying to make you feel better. Because that's
the type of person she is.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
It could have been so much worse. I'm sure there
are messages that you would much rather... you would much
less rather you had sent to Canada, you know?
Speaker 1 (05:02):
At least it wasn't like, I mean, what would you rather?
I feel like a raunchy text, devastating. Also like where
you're having a fight or an argument, like if you send, oh,
that's awful as well. The one that I've fallen for
in the past is sending a message that was intended
for my partner. To a friend, but in there abused.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Talking about them?
Speaker 3 (05:24):
No, no. Using their cutesy only between us two that
no one else is meant to ever hear.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Nickname?
Speaker 3 (05:33):
I sent it to the wrong person.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Wait, what's the nickname?
Speaker 3 (05:35):
No, I'm not going to tell you.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
What's the nickname?
Speaker 3 (05:37):
No, I'll never tell you. I'll never tell you, but
I sent it to probably the worst person. I sent
it to Drew Nemia. And he ripped me something chronic
for it.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Producer Claude? Actually, no, it's all right. I'm going to
message Drew Niemeyer and see if he remembers what the
nickname was.
