Speaker 2 (00:04):
Brian Clint, you.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Know who I wish was dropping new music?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
How's that?

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Bri the Spice Girl.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Oh yeah, God, imagine if it just came out of
nowhere and they dropped a song for the thirtieth anniversary.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Yeah, what do you want? Do you want a new
song or do you want an unreleased song from back then? Either?

Speaker 4 (00:27):
All?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yeah, I'd take either.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
All not Piggy.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
We have been engulfed in just spice world over the
last week. Yeah, last week, this time last Friday, you
guys gifted me one of the best gifts I think
I've ever received.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
We had been talking about the Spice.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Girls and I had mentioned how one of the biggest
memories from my childhood was the Impulse Spy Skirls deodorant.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, the iconic can that every teenage girl had.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
And someone who works here, Katie who works here, heard
it on her drive home and messaged you and said,
I think I have one of those cans in storage,
an original one, and you guys got your hands on her,
and she said, oh, you can gift it to Bree anyway,
you guys gifted gifted it to me, and I stand

(01:25):
by it. It's one of the greatest gifts I've ever received.
Smelling that again was pure nostalgia.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Where are you keeping it so far?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
It's in a safe space. I don't want to say,
just in case.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
It's not in the toilet for the freshner, is it
absolutely not? Someone bombs your toilet and they're.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Just like, definitely not. It is in a safe space.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
But I was saying to my partner last night, I
was like, this might be one of the greatest things
that I own. Like it's not I don't think it's
worth a heap of money, but to me, it is
worth everything, Like it's actually one of my prize positions.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
It's invaluable.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah, yeah, Like you can't put a monetary value on it.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Or could we? Could you have a look on eBay
and see if anyone's sellings let's put a monetor well
you just want to know, don't you.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Well that's actually interesting.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
They're selling for twenty grand.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Then Katie probably wants it back fair enough.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Can you imagine.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Katie's like, you know, what was alone a new car?

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Or You'll never guess how much I got for that
candas spice skillzimpole.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, brought me a brand new care. Yes produce a claude.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
I can't see the spray. But there's a body wash
version like a shower of gel, and there's one on sale.
It's not sold, but it's on sale for one hundred
and eighty five Canadian dollars.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
That's not bad version. Got to get the set.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
True. No one ever used the body wash is there?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Is there a Champine Conditioner two and one on there
as well the.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Perfume set and it comes with the with the either
the lotion or the shower gel.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
No one.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
I had the Lynx Africa shower gel and I was
always passed off. It smelled nice, smell like lengths Africa.
I was always pissed off because I didn't smell that
Length Africa. Afterwards, I used to go to my parents.
I was like, can you smell it? And they're like, no,
you just smell clean. The point of it, we want
to know what's your item that it might not be
worth much, but to you it's your wise position.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yeah, it's worth the world.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
I've got one, you know how, I've got a lot
of all blacks jerseys. Yeah, is there one in particulars
one in particular. It's a nineteen ninety six. It's got
the stein Lager logo on it and the white collar.
It's a Canterbury one, and there's lots of those around
and they do go for a bit of money. But
the one I've got has still got the tags attached
to it. Oh, it's still got the price on it.
It's still got the original price tags.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
And that's your price, my price position. How much did
you pay for it?

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I got it for sixty dollars.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Oh, that's a good deal.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Yeah. It was from this clearance place that just had
a bunch of old memorbilia and I was a win.
How much for that one? Sixty bucks?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
You're like, I'll take it.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
That's a good one.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Producers, Do you have anything like that in your in
your positions?

Speaker 5 (04:07):
I feel like I've gotten rid of all my good stuff.
That would have been my valuable stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Now what you sold it would have been like my old.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
CDs, But I remember they all got like they all
fell down a dick, funny enough through the cracks of
the deck.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Oh no ella, you got something. Yeah, what's your prize position?

Speaker 1 (04:26):
My cat that's at mum's house.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Does that happens she's a prize position.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
She's a ginger cat. That's rare. I don't know if
you'd call that a position. She's mine.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Why do you ask them Claudia's CDs that fell down?
The dick Cat? What iconic Spice Girls memorabilia? What's my
prize position?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
My childhood cat?

Speaker 2 (04:53):
My cat's pretty got to live the house.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Something big that's been happening on our show in the
last week is the fact that we have in our
possession an original can of Spice Girl's Impulse.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
The number of people who have messaged me, millennials saying
is this real or is it a prank?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Is it a radio thing?

Speaker 2 (05:17):
It's crazy, It's crazy. I just spoke to Katie, who
gave us the can, because we're talking before of like,
would you sell it if it was worth enough? And
I just saw her in the hallway and she goes,
don't worry. I checked how much it was worth before
I gave it to Brie, so she knows that it's worthless,
but to me, it's priceless, exactly right. So we want

(05:39):
to know what is your item that might not be
worth much money, but it's your prize position. Donna's here,
Hi Donna.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Hi Donna, Hi guy.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
It just feels like Antique's road show, you know, or
that porn traders show where they bring their finger and
find out how much it's worth. What do you got, Donna,
What do you got to show us?

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Well? I have it's called a you know Brat's the Dolls. Yes, right.
So one time when I was in London, I was
in this store and they had you know, chopper bikes
with the handles that come.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Up the listed chrome and stuff on it.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Yeah, exactly, they've got it. They had this amazing Bratt's
Chopper bike. It was purple and chrome was stars all
over the mud everything, and I thought it was the coolest,
most epic bike I've ever seen in my life. And
I thought, if only I had a daughter. But ten
years later I had actually had a daughter and then
and I managed to track one down on eBay. So

(06:35):
I've had it shipped to New Zealand.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
I need to know, Donna, how much did you pay?

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Oh? I think I paid about forty pounds for it,
but it's worth now, but it's I think it's only
one of two in New Zealand.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if your Barretts themed chopper
bike is one of one, Donner.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Wait, are we're talking like a full actual size, Yes.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
As an actual if you google it, it's the most
amazing chopper bike. You're everything in your life.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
I was thinking I was thinking it was like one
that like the brat stole rode off.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
No, no, no, you know an actual chopper bike?

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Do you?

Speaker 2 (07:11):
If you have if you have a daughter who grows
up to be a Mexican gangster who also still like
playing with Barett stoles, He's gonna love it is for life, Donner.
There's no bit of gift. Perfect. What a great example.
Thank you. Zoe's here, Hi, Zoe, Zoe.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I tell us what is your prize position? Zoey.

Speaker 6 (07:34):
So you know everybody like has a baby blanket, Yes,
they had when they were little. So mine's now almost
thirty years old and it's completely tattered and torn and
like it used to have these nice like pink edges
and it was white in the middle and it has
these little kittens embroidered in the corner.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Ye like very specific, got it?

Speaker 6 (07:54):
And I've always wanted to like have a replacement. I'm like, oh,
it'd be nice to have, so I would look like
on eBay all the time over the course of years,
right and then it wasn't until it was probably like
five years ago I came across I just randomly decided
to look it up again, and I came across a
listing and it was it's had vintage baby blanket and

(08:17):
the pictures had the kitten and had the edges and everything.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
It was the same one.

Speaker 6 (08:22):
It was the same baby blanket. And like I, I
think I paid one hundred and sixty US dollars. It
is worth it, And so I bought it. And as
soon as I opened that package, I just started sobbing.
I put the blankets next to each other. I moved

(08:43):
to New Zealand like a year and a half ago.
I have both blankets with me. I just love it's
just sitting on the shelf. It hasn't been used.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
No one can touch it.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
Oh my god, Zoe, if you have if you want
to have kids, or if you ever have kids, oh,
would you give that to your child?

Speaker 6 (08:58):
But no, The thing is is the kads one to
appreciated that.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
The thanks Zoey. Melissa's here. I'm Melissa.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
I'm Melissa.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Hello, You're like Brie. You've got some Spice Skirls merchandise,
don't you.

Speaker 7 (09:14):
Oh? Absolutely, I've probably got every single thing that you
ever came out with.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Okay, what what do you reckon? Is your prized position?

Speaker 1 (09:21):
My god, I'm so excited.

Speaker 7 (09:25):
You can't choose this one. If I had to choose one,
it would be everything of Sporty Spice.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Sporty Spice was your Spy Girl, that was your favorite?

Speaker 4 (09:33):
What what are some of the.

Speaker 1 (09:34):

It's really cool.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Lessa, have you got the Spice Girls Impulse?

Speaker 7 (09:56):
I've went through hundreds of those, but I didn't keep
our care. Oh smell in the world, isn't it?

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Mel? It's so good? How could you feel, Mel?

Speaker 3 (10:07):
How would you feel if we pulled this off and
we got the Spice Girl's Impulse re released brought back?

Speaker 7 (10:14):
Oh? I think I'd buy out the shop.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yeah, now, I reckon you need to send one of
your dolls or something Spice Girls related to us here
in the studio. We'll take good care of it and
Bree could spray that with spice Skills Impulse for you
so that it smells like it. Oh, we've got to
help each.

Speaker 7 (10:33):
Other around, gotta have the hookups.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Yeah yeah, Well you talked to our people, and we'll
talk to our people, will make something happen. We asked,
what's your prize position? That's probably not worth any money.
Someone said, I've got a bar of Et branded soap
from nineteen eighty two unused.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
That's cool.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
I've got a nineteen ninety Michael Jordan basketball card currently
on eBay. It's worth three hundred and fifty bucks. Someone
reckons that Barratt's Chopper bikes. We're one thousand dollars now. Really, yeah,
I'd believe it.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Someone said I have a Nirvana T shirt from before
they release their first album.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
It says on the back, I can't say that.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
You can't say I can't say that, but it's says
some explicit stuff.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
You can't say the first bit, you can't say the second, but.

Speaker 1 (11:18):

coca Cola bottle unopened.
