Speaker 1 (00:00):

Speaker 2 (00:01):
So we are playing at Citi m Spree and Clint.
It's the podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Sad news out today about jesse J and her boyfriend
they've broken up.

Speaker 4 (00:15):
This is not a sad should have followed her a yes,
do you want to change your mind?

Speaker 5 (00:21):
Ah, let's do this on the fly.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
You're a radio professional, ready, I'll give you another chance.
Sad news out today about jesse J and her partner
they've broken up.

Speaker 5 (00:31):
Oh no, not about the money.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
And in this game, it was about the money, money, money,
that wasn't I'm joking.

Speaker 5 (00:39):
Ah, they she posted on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
As to why they've broken up, they share a sun together,
they have a kid together. She said that they decided
to end their romantic relationships some time ago, so they've
kept it a secret for some time. It has been
a sad and difficult situation, but we have been focused
on naving gating the change privately and positively for a
healthy and happy co parenting environment for our son and ourselves.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
I mean, if you're the boyfriend after Channing Tatum, it's
always going to be a rough road.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
It is a hard act to follow.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
It is It's like being the stripper after Channing Tatum.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
How do you do that? You can't know. The bar
has been set way too high.

Speaker 5 (01:20):
No one really measures up.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
We were talking about jes Cjay today and someone goes,
was it al goes, remember how she.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Can sing with her mouth closed?

Speaker 5 (01:32):
Oh yeah, that's right. That's her singing with her mouth closed,
completely closed.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
And someone said that has to be one of the
most pointless talents that a person can have.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
Unless you're on the Graham Norton Show.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Well, yeah, true that.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
It made for quite a fun talk topic, didn't Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Yeah, it's her version, she said, it's her version of
her being stuck inside a box. Yeah, that's how she
came up with it. So she was a lonely child
and she did an impression of her being stuck in
a box.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
And that was that how you figure out then you
can do that.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
You can probably do it.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
There's no way.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Give it a go, Give it a go.

Speaker 5 (02:23):
I just sound like I'm a trumpet.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Was that you trying?

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Yes, you try.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
It's got a lot of air coming out.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
But did she was good? Did you you impressed by that?

Speaker 5 (02:37):
Cord I could hear some words. It's actually not bad.
What is what is your pointless talent. Do you guys
have a pointless talent? It's your pointless talent.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
You've got a lot of pointless talents.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
I feel like the only talent I have is pointless. Yeah, yeah, no,
at least I've got some.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, exactly right.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
Might be pointless, but I've got some.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
You are pretty good at gissing movie plot lines from
way that I read them out.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
Pretty pointless talent.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Remember how you got that skill where you can guess
if someone's wearing a G string or not.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Yeah, we played a game on our show called bree String.
I was good at that. Yeah, I actually am quite
proud of that one.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Good.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
You know, there's a great pointless talents.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Yeah, you can do a body roll that's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
And she can do a body roll apparently.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
Add that to the list.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
And you've got that gleeking. You can do the gleeking
thing on demand and gleek on demand.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
And my nose has no cartilage.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
God, you would chuck a block.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
You're basically a circus act I know.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
And I can disslocate my shoulder on command. No, no,
I won't do that again because last time had hurt
quite a lot.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Do you think that's pointless. I have the ability to
tell whether a business is going out of business or
they're about to renovate it right from looking at it.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
I remember, I can't just look.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
At a business and tell you.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
But if I see a business and it's going to happen,
I will know, so it will be brought to my attention.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
Yeah, like that cafe across the road over.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
There, it's going out of business. It's in desperate of
a renovation, but it's going to go out of it.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
But is that also because we've worked here for so
long and you've never seen someone in the cafe.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
I don't know how the talent works. I just know
that I have it.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
You also can guess the weight of a bag when
we're go on a plane.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Yes, And I can guess the weight of your luggage.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
And you can do yo yo tricks. Oh yeah, and
roller blade they're all so he heard himself rollerblading on
the holidays. So we're going to take that one off
the list.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Sorry, Clint myself quite badly.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
Okay, you used to be able to and I still can.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
It's just one of my kids got under my feet.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Blame your children. We want to know.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
What your pointless talent is this afternoon, oh hundred dollars.
It in no talent to pointless, Like.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
You know, a talent that would be a pointless talent,
but it would really impress me. Is someone who can
look at any type of meal and know exactly how
long to put that in the microwave.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, with one and one go.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Yeah yeah, like you, I don't have to keep taking
it out and putting it back in.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
You just know, someone argue that's not pointless.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Yeah, I mean, it's kind of a point talent you
can use daily, but it's not like it's random.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
But it's not pointless.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
But it's not like singing or playing the piano or no,
you know, like a real talent.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
No, it's not. It's not part of the arts, but
it should be.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Though technically I would say that is quite the art.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Inspired by Jesse Jay's useless talent where she can sing
with her mouth closed. We're discussing our useless talents, our
pointless talents, and your pointless talents as well. You suggested
that it would be good if someone could guess the
weight of sorry, the amount of times I mean needs

(05:49):
to be microwaved just by looking at it. Yeah, you
said that was pointless. Someone said that is more useful
as a talent than being able to play the piano.
Like to be able to know how to eat food
up the correct out would be more useful than me
how often you're playing the piano.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
But like, what if you were the best at playing piano,
or you were the best at knowing how long a
particular food needed in the microwave?

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Which talent would you pick? Would you pick the microwave?

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, i'd be The fact that.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
We even have to think about today shows culture.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
It shows that there needs to be more investment in
the arts of this country.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Actually, I think it's just the piano thing for me.
Like if it was guitar, I choose guitar.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
But piano isn't the piano like the key to all instruments,
Like if you can play piano, is it?

Speaker 1 (06:36):
I don't know, don't.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
I can't play either. They can barely play the recorder.
Taylor's here, Hi Taylor, Hi Taylor, Hello, Hello, We're good.
What's your incredibly pointless talent?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Taylor?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
I can dispense medication first pop, So if I have
to dispense, say twenty medications, boom right there?

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Whoa one?

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Poor?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah? One?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Poor? What do you What do you do for work? Taylor?

Speaker 5 (07:03):
I'm a witness. Well I thought you guys, I'm a
drug dealer. I'm like, well, that'll come in andy again.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
I would argue, I'd argue, the perfect dispensing of medication
not a pointless talent for a vet.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
No, it's a very good talent to have.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
In fact, I would argue it's an essential talent for
a vet.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
Yes, and it's pretty handy. When when did you figure
out that you had this talent? Taylor?

Speaker 3 (07:28):
I'm about ten years into it now, so it has
taken me a while to get that.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Still, does it work for.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Other things too?

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Letters work for alcohol? Can you pour a perfect double
shot of gin?

Speaker 5 (07:38):
No?

Speaker 4 (07:39):
No, I haven't. Haven't nailed that one yet.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Can you do.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Exactly two tablespoons of soy sauce? Taylor's like, I always
end up going more gin than what's needed. Don't we
all casses here?

Speaker 1 (07:50):
High?

Speaker 5 (07:50):
Cass h cass, I got a pointless talent?

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Cuss.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Yeah, I can say the alphabere backwards.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
I'll go on. You know, we need to hear this that, okay?
Red y x w B t S I Q P
O N M L k j I H G f
E D C B A wouldn't even know if you
were wrong, So I'm gonna say that was impressive.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
She does no CBA, so you know, wouldn't have missed that.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Cus wouldn't have cuss.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
CAUs.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
We asked, what's your incredibly pointless talent.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Someone said, I've got a ridiculously good sense of smell,
like a bloodhound. I once smelt whiskey in my brother's
office and he was completely spooked because he hadn't even
opened the bottle yet that was under his desk as
a gift from a colleague.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
They might have a condition, you know, like some human beings,
is like a really small percent like nose. It's with
the sense of smell, and also with hearing, you can
have like super sonic hearing compared to other humans. Well,
they just love drinking so much, like they can sniff
out a whiskey anywhere there's a drink around here. Someone

(09:01):
said that my useless talent, but secretly quite handy, is
that I can look at any leftovers and accurately choose
the exact right size container.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
I could do this too.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Really, me and my partner.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Have competitions where we'll cook something and then I'll go,
it's this container.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
This is going to fit exactly into this. That's actually
quite useful. I have the opposite.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
I always get some leftovers out of the fridge and
then I'll choose the bowl to have those leftovers.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
Never big enough, never ever end up just mounding up this.
Bigger the better. Yeah, go the bigger bowl.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Someone said, my sister can sneeze on demand by tickling
the inside of her nose with a tissue.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Definitely the most pointless talent in the world.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Do you feel like most people could do that? We
have a tissue?

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Or can you get us a tissue?

Speaker 5 (09:51):
Juices? Can one of you get us a paper towel?

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Someone? Is it too much to ask to get a
goddamn tissue around here?

Speaker 5 (09:57):
They looked at us, They literally looked at us, like,
can you leave us alone? We are busy ignoring you both.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Pointless talent. Someone said I can jump on a pogo
stick with no hands. Risky business trying to find out
if you have that talent, isn't it?

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (10:16):
Thanks, Claudia.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
It's more of a napkin than a tissue, Okay, we're
going to go of our nose and see if we
can make ourselves.

Speaker 5 (10:27):
Don't get it, don't get a bookcase. I'll be sick.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
I see you, it's in there, and I'll just get
a little wiggle around and then it reminds me of
doing a COVID test. I hate this feeling so much.
No sneeze is yet, though.

Speaker 5 (10:44):
Maybe it isn't something everyone can do.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Come it further up.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
If someone tuned in right now, they'd be like, what's
going on in there my eyes?

Speaker 3 (10:57):
No?

Speaker 5 (10:58):
No, okay, that one counts then because we couldn't do it.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Yeah, there's a useless talent that was awful.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Someone said, Hi, I'm neve, and I can make my
eyes go in different directions like a chameleon.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
Who is that the core trait of a chameleon?

Speaker 4 (11:15):
If I wasn't comparing a talent to something, I'd say
the chameleon was the color changing thing.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
But their eyes are quite weird too, where they google
eyes can look all over the place.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Okay, yeah, I guess that's the more useless of the
chameleon's talents. The color changing thing quite useful, the googly
eye thing.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
Someone said, I can stop myself from yawning. No, no
one can do that, can they.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
I can't stop myself from yawning or sneezing, and I
can't start myself sneezing either.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
We just found out someone.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Said, I'm a beauty therapist and my talent is that
I can guess someone's age. I'd love to watch that
person work.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
I can smell when mandarins have pips before I peel them.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
No, you can wait.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Get that person in the studio immediately, because I would
love to take them to the supermarket, because you know what,
amandarin so good when there's no pips.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
As soon as you get one of the bloody mandarins
with all the.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Seeds, I'd really impressed by it. As if you could
smell whether it was a white stringy mandarin or not. Oh,
if you can smell that the mandarin has no white
string EBITs on it.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
That person could make a fortune, just.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
A new world sniffing all the mandarins before you bag.
Excuse me, ma'am.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
They just stand next to the main they're like someone, Yeah,
something comes in and they go who's that? They go, Ah,
that's Sandra, amandarin.
