Mumma Di's Radio Award!

We couldn't do it without her, and the least she deserves is the piece of paper to mark her as an official NZ Radio Award winner. So we sent Bree's mum, Mumma Di, a little something in the mail and this was the live reveal.

You haven't opened our package?

No? Well, with all the writing across the back.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
C geez, what writing do we put across the back
of the secret package?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Don't open yet? We'll call Bree and clink.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah right, Well, good on you for following instructions.

That was the first test and you passed. Okay, good.

Now is the time you've been wondering what's in this
secret package? Should we get her to open it first?

I think you get straight into it, Die, and you
let us know what's inside that package.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Just be careful. You don't want to crease it. So
just when you're opening it.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
She knows how to handle a package. Okay, okay, I
thought it had been a while. She'd handle the package. Package.
How do you think you've got here, brit O.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
She's arguably bitter with the package than you are, so.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
I'm opening it as we speak.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
All right, Okay, tell us when you've got it open,
we'll fire off a drum roll.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Jess, I might need a pair of sis.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Come on, I gave you all that credit with the
package stuff before. You've got to come through for me. Now.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
She works the packages being a bit easier to open.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah right. You like the self opening packages, don't you.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Everyone always wants scissors when they're opening the package.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I like them to be a wife friend on them.

You deserve it, mum. And when we won this radio award,
all of us straight away just wanted to let you
know how much of it, how big of a part
you play in this show, and so like you needed
your own award.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Oh, thank you. I've got nothing hanging on my wards
at home, but this is going up straight away. I've
never won anything major.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Oh you don't have any awards or trophies at home
of your own. I know you've got that room dedicated
to Bree yours, she tells us. But there's none of
your own awards hanging.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Up there, mate. The only ones I've got is best Manager.
That's about it.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Best Manager.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah. I am absolutely chucked. And thanks to my team
that we won this award, Mom.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
That was because we all got our awards on the night.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
And then this was an idea that came from someone
in the team and they actually had to go back
to the Radio Awards people and they printed this one
specially just for you.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Oh. It's absolutely so special. It is definitely going to
go on in a frame on the wall, and in
a major part where you walk straight into the house.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
I know the part, take my degree off the wall,
throw that us. Put this up there.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
You deserve it, mum.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Well, no other no other radio shows given the ideas.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
All right, you're not going to poach her off us
