Songs in movies that totally stole the scene - party edition

I watched the New Spider Man movie.

Right down the other end of the Yeah. So I
feel like Norway in this situation because I'm like, you
can see both sides of these parts that I love,
these parts that I can be a little bit confused about,
but overall, it's a great piece of art.

Okay, that's out in cinemas. It's impartial, that's balanced, perhaps
perhaps balanced, my pH considered balanced.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
One of my favorite parts of the movie is actually
the soundtrack, which I didn't think in a Spider Man
movie I would even consider the music, but it was
a bit of a factor to one of the pivotal
scenes where, without spoilers, Spider Man attends a house party
and this song comes on by tam and Parlor, which
we're playing as well at the moment closer.

It just feel so right in the plot.

Yeah, it's crazy that this is finally the year of
Hayman Parlot. Do you get that?

scene re a party scene because I don't feel like,

So if you can get that same simulation in a
film that's the right one, then it feels just the same.

What you mean. Yeah, and the song can make the
moment too one percent. Okay, give me some examples.

The first one that jumped to mine when I thought
songs that make the scene re party, it had to
be pursued of happiness, which is in Project X.

This is after they smashed the garden gnome full of Ikey's.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Yes yeah, yeah yeah, and that kind of deciding should
we shouldn't we go like the full night and they go, yeah.

peak peak millennial house party vibes two yeah.

And then a year later, twenty thirteen, another music that
made the scene from a party, The Great Gatsby, A
Little Party Never Killed Nobody, A Little.

Party, Nobody, Fugi and c Tip.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think in the movie
they do kind of more of a flapper girl sound
like it's this some.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Of the movie version is different.

You're right, but I think I really like it because
you're hearing about this mysterious character the whole time who
is Gatsby, and then it's revealed in this It's just
a gorgeous scene.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
That movie is so good.

Oh yeah, I could rewatch it time.

My brother brought me the soundtrack to that film on vinyl.

Imagine being on the table to the song.

I've never seen the film, but you just described it
so well coupled with the song, but I get it.

A whole nerdy girl who never goes out.

What is she doing dancing to begging on a table
right now at a house party?

Then smokes her.

made the scenery movies. You can't go past Sophia's what
is a bachelourette party when she's just about to get.

Of her girls are around and it's just meant to
be a girly thing. But then the guys come and
invade her bachelorette party to the song.

And they're like climbing the wall and stuff. It's so good. Yeah,

Of course, it's ever it's Mama Maya.

I thought it was a statement, not a question. That's
how obvious it was.

I know we're doing songs that make the scene. This
is more modern.

But imagine you're.

An ice hockey player and you've got the hots for
another ice hockey player, and you're like pretty strict with
your raging. But you go out on the town one
night and then you see this ice hockey player that
you've kind of been flirting with dancing with another girl.

Speaker 2 (04:19):

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Hit it from Heated Rivalry?

Speaker 1 (04:33):
I tell you, what, do you think? You love heated rivalry?
Not as much as the girls from tATu love heated rivalry.
This is a whole nother paycheck for them. Oh yeahlevant again.

Yeah, but it was.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
It's so weird because it was almost like that song
was written for that scene.
