Speaker 1 (00:00):
You tapped it, so we're playing it. It's ZM's Brian Clint,
the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
We are still living, and we will be forever now,
but you know, we're still dealing with the fact that
we are living in a post-Dolly Parton world.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
It's not as joyful. She left on Wednesday?

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Wednesday, Dolly Parton, Tim Curry on Thursday.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
Yes. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
And then everyone was like, uh-oh. Who's next? It comes
in threes. Yeah. I think we've been okay. Hopefully we've
dodged that one.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
We did our, and before I present this next bit
of audio, can I just say we are no better, okay?
Our Dolly Parton tribute was broadcast on ZM on Friday.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Why are you bringing that up again? I was trying
to forget that forever. We did Dolly Parton's 9 to 5. God,
it was awful.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
And it will never see the light of day again.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
We've deleted it from the systems. Here's the thing. We
didn't even put out a podcast on Friday. Thank God.
So it's not even, it can't even be listened to
on the podcast. I'm so glad. I'm so glad.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
The tribute that lives on, though, is from quite an
unlikely Dolly fan. I mean, we're all Dolly fans, but
when I think Dolly Parton, I don't think Fast and
the Furious star Vin Diesel. No, I wouldn't say he
would be at the top of my list thinking he
was a huge Dolly fan. And yet, late last week,

(01:22):
the world was treated to quite a beautiful tribute to Dolly.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
From Vin Diesel. From Vin Diesel.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I present to you genuine tribute, real cover posted on
Vin Diesel's authenticated Instagram account.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
What was, I need to know what the caption was.
Do you know what it was? Praying hands. And that's it? Emoji,
that was it. And a picture of Dolly.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
This is Vin Diesel's tribute to Dolly Parton.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
If I Should stay, I would only be in your way.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
So I'll go, but I know I will think of
you each step of the way.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
The way.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Get.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
It, bud. And I.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Will always love you. Will always love you.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
It is raw....

Speaker 2 (02:55):
It is real.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
It is real. Like, it's actually real. Holy shit.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
The top comment on Vin Diesel's tribute to Dolly Parton says,
this cover is actually what killed her.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
That's so me.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
That's so me. Oh, wait. Yeah. I want to hear
the big note. It's coming.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Oh, harmonies.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Wow. Like I said, we're in no position to judge.
And everybody grieves differently, don't they?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
This might be the end of the Fast and the
Furious franchise. This might be what does it. That's probably
what killed Paul Walker as well. Play ZM's Breein Clint
