little package just for you.

Speaker 1 (00:07):

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Who's watching a smutty TV show at the moment? Yeah,
I've watched a couple recently. You've done the I jumped
on the heated rivalry. Yeah, yep, that was good. You
did the off campus jumped on the off campus. I
don't do that as well. I'd argue the Outlander that
I've just wrapped up. It's got very smutty moments to it.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
No wonder my mom likes it.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Oh, it's so far up your mum's elliot, it's not funny.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
They don't be talking about my mum's alli and what's
up there?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
I know it's up there and it's Jemmy. How dare
you the hot Scotsman? Well, if you're watching a smutty
TV show, there's a new study that says exactly what
you want it to say. Watching smutty TV shows is
good for you.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
I know it makes you feel good. That's exactly what
it is.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Doctor Laura Clark, she's a GP and the co founder
of a women's health clinic says, watch erotic or sexual
content triggers the release of oxytocin, which is sometimes called
the cuddle or bonding hormone, which can create a feeling
of happiness and well being.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Gives you the big O, the big oxytocin.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Oh yeah, yeah, the big O releases the bigger Those
effects have a positive cardiovascular your heart health effect, and
the idea is that that type of reaction to that
type of content reduces stress and can improve your mood.
I would argue there are times when it doesn't isn't

(01:39):
good for you, and it doesn't. What's the stress hormone
that it triggers that one? And that is when you're
watching a smutty show that you didn't know was smutty
and you're watching it with your parents, or worse, you're
watching it with your partner's parents. I'll never forget when
me and my girlfriend at the time rented the box
set of True Blood when we were staying.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
At her parents' house. Random choice, Yeah, random.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
In a packin, and we're like, justifier.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Was a key We actress and don't try and justify.
I don't know on what play.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
I think it might have even been me, which is worse,
and I went to video easy and I was like,
I'll get this.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
One's talking about you guys will like it. I put
it on.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
One of the vampires has chained up to the ceiling
completely naked. Another vampires beating them and making love to
them at the same time. And my mother in law
turns to me and she goes, did you choose this?
My jokes he toasted the released in that moment. But

(02:47):
if you pack the right show and the right moment
and the right viewing partner, turns out smutty TV could
be right.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
What could be good for you? I told you so.
I'm talking about when things are right up, right back off.
