Speaker 5 (02:43):
You did.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
You're just volunteering the story, Richard, just rich offering it

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Hey, well that's lovely Richard.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
That means a lot, Richard. We've been a part of
show quist for a long time now, so it's great

Thank you.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
We'll pass it on CDs.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Bree and Clinton podcast.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
The room is looking good ahead of the Radio Awards.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Best it's ever looked on.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
And if there was a prize for most hand it
would probably go to you, Bree, Tom.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
And that never goes to be naturally.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
To be fair, we're a very pale team. But as
a group, what do you think do you think you're not?
Speaker 9 (04:40):
I think I'm olive?
Speaker 3 (04:41):
You think you're olive?
Speaker 9 (04:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (04:45):
On pictum on this pictrum of ice white through the cream,
you've got a little bit of moldy and me same.
Can you see it?
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Hey on half Italian?
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Yeah, exactly why.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
I honestly, if we were a hoot all team all white,
I've never really noticed that before, but we are all ghostly.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
It's not a lack of culture or ethnic diversity, but
there's a lack of pigment in this team. It's both
of those things, which is why we've got representation across
the board. We just don't look like it. But we
don't look like it, which is why you are seriously
frame mogging us now with that spray tends. It's actually
not fair because we're going to get photos together. It's
(05:27):
actually not tro You have decided to split from the
group and get a spray tend either we all get
sprayed ends.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
Well, I invited Ella, did you?
Speaker 10 (05:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (05:40):
Inted Ellen doesn't need it because she's olive.
Speaker 5 (05:43):
That's my favorite thing you said, Olive.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
I'm shocked at this compared to Hope.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Okay, not gonna lie to Marilyn Monroe.
Speaker 11 (05:56):
When my friends show me their little tasty legs. Yeah,
I feel like a bit bad because I'm a little
bit olive.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
This is good. This is good. We support you on.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
Your olive skin chie.
Speaker 9 (06:13):
My sister's orange.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
Anyway, that's for us. How'd you go?
Speaker 10 (06:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (06:20):
No by the cops this time on the way home.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
No, thank god.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Yeah went in.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
It was so cold last night. I shuffled on in,
was no bra put my paper g string on, had
to bend over slightly again.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
The lady who sprayed tended me was lovely.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Repeat customer, same person, like, no surprises for her, She's
seen it all before.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
No, No, I don't know if I've had her before.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Same place. I always go to tan in the city.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
But if I.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
Got spray tend and I got a good one done,
I'd go to the same person every time. So it's like, ah,
just old boots. They were all pretty good. Oh so
what you don't have to reveal yourself to a new person?
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Really, I just I just don't care anymore? Is that bad?
Speaker 5 (07:04):
I just I'm kind of like I remember because it's
so funny. I was talking to the woman who was
spray tanning me last night. I talked to her about
the first time I ever got a spray tent, and
I remember it vividly because it was traumatic, Like picture
of this. I would have been fifteen and I was
getting ready for one of my high school balls, first
(07:25):
time ever, and I've gone in to get a spray tent,
and I was just so self conscious of seeing like
someone seeing me naked.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
I was just like stressed all day these days.
Speaker 6 (07:37):
I'm like, oh, well, whip it off whatever I left
my buttcherk so you can get underneath it.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
I just don't care. So it went really well, looks great, Thank.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
You very much.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Would you say it's olive?
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Maybe Oliver's, but we can't all be bliss. Odd interaction
in the work kitchen between Brie and I yesterday as
we were making lunch, you yelled at me in.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Front of people, in front of colleagues, Yeah, producers.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
It happened.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Outrage Yeah, I if.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
It came across that way, I'm sorry, okay, but I
was outraged by what I saw. Can I just ask you, guys,
you can't say in a game, okay, because I already
know what your opinion is. You opened a can of tunah,
it's tuna and oil. Where does the oil go down?
The sink down? The oil go I a single bent then, then,
(08:32):
my girl, I think.
Speaker 9 (08:36):
A drain pipe.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
Yesterday I witnessed Bree attempting to tip the oil from
her tuna directly into the work rubbish.
Speaker 5 (08:45):
But can I just can I just we have multiple
bins here, We.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
Do have multiple bins.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
There's your normal waste you're recycling, and I tipped it
in the recycling. No, I'm just joking. And then we
also have an organic spin, which is like food waste,
and I was tipping.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
It in the organic spin. Solid organics not liquid.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
It does liquids in, does it say?
Speaker 4 (09:10):
On the bin?
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Solid organics, common.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Sea, that's common sense. Now cleaner oil in the bin
is diabolical.
Speaker 11 (09:18):
No, no, no, they know because the drain pipe, like
I would, yes, have I done it in the past years,
but I feel like I've gotten told off me too.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
Oil in the drain, So I believe and I understand
that that has kind of been drummed into us a bit.
I believe that's cooking oil. It's the stuff that congeals.
If it's just liquid oil off off like because it's
the fat that solidifies in the drain. It's about to
being fat down the drain, is what they're talking about.
So like mint grease, yeah, like the stuff that slept
(09:46):
in the pan after bacon kind of thing but liquid
in the bin.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
Well, look, I eat quite a Mediterranean diet, and if
you know, you know, and my lunch which is sundry tomatoes, tuna, olives,
et cetera, et cetera.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Lots of them.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
No I cooked the rice a bone anyway, A lot
of stuff in oil. And so when I'm making that lunch,
I'm like, where I can't tip all of this bloody
oil down the drain. So what I.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Normally do is I normally tip it like in a jar,
and then I'll put it in the bin.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
In the bin.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
Yeah, well I don't much.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Recycled.
Speaker 5 (10:30):
Yeah, that goes.
Speaker 4 (10:33):
You know.
Speaker 5 (10:34):
Okay, Okay, I've googled it.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
Should we go?
Speaker 5 (10:37):
Should we just ask Google and then we can discuss.
So I've said, where should you pour the oil from
a tuna can? Bin or sink? And it says neither.
Plot twists Okay, it says you should never pour it
down the sink and pouring raw liquid directly into the
bin will make a mess. Instead, soak the oil up
(10:59):
in paper towels and throw.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
It in the rubbish so you solidify it, or pour it.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Into a sealable container and put it in the bin.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
Oh, like a jar.
Speaker 9 (11:08):
All right, the paper towel option is a great option.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Technically, none of us were right.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
I guess none of us are right. I think I'm
just traumatized by liquids in the bin. At the last
radio station I worked out with someone else who worked
at that radio station and now works at this radio station.
There was a time where we had an ice cream fridge.
Sometimes your radio station get sponsored by brands and they
bring in all the products. So we had unlimited ice creams,
(11:35):
and your person who used to work there and now
works here would eat half and because there were so
many ice creams, he would eat half an ice cream
and then go, I don't feel like there's anymore, and
he would put the ice cream in the bin, and
the ice cream would melt in the bin, and then
the cleaners would come along at the end of the
day take the bag out of the bin. The bin
would be leaking old ice cream, juice, my liquids, and
(12:00):
the bin.
Speaker 5 (12:01):
Last thing I wanted to comes from is make a
mess or make things harder for the lovely cleaners.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Anyway, half people at the station now work here. The
name them.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
If we guess it, let's all have one guess and
then and if we guess it right, you have to
say yes. Okay, Okay, who do you want to go with?
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Ellie Sam?
Speaker 4 (12:23):
Yeah, looking your guests, you'll have to agree. You'll have
to agree on a guess.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
By the way, from Jonathan, I think it's Vaughan Allen Smith.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Okay, what name out of those three are you going
to agree on? It was one of those vaorn I
could never say, do you guys want to do it?
Would you rather go on? From that guy who did
the best? Would you rathers that? We did a couple
of times, like would you rather be the best pianist
in the world? But you always have sticky hands? Or
(12:52):
you can teleport, but when you teleport, you shoot your pay.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
We all chose teleport.
Speaker 6 (12:56):
I think we all chose teleport because you're tele porting anyone.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, well, I was gonna say anyone can be a
good penis.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
Not anyone can ship their pants. They can, it's the teleporting.
But that's hard. Okay, listen carefully, Okay, I want to
know what you would rather out of this same guy,
same brilliant mind. All right, here's today's one.
Speaker 10 (13:20):
Would you rather get free sushi for life? But whenever
you eat it, your sister farts so bad that it
clears the room wherever she is, Like, it's unbearable. But
you can eat whenever that you go to a restaurant,
no matter how expensive. With sushi, you can get it
for free. Or would you want to get three wishes?
But all the wishes you can only wish for things
(13:43):
made out of ice, like an ice tree, even an
ice planet. If you want.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
It anything, what it can be? It can be anything ice.
It could be an ice Titanic.
Speaker 5 (13:54):
If you want sword, what are you going to do
with an ic Titanic?
Speaker 4 (13:58):
Sail it into an iceberg?
Speaker 3 (13:59):
For ravine, you have to wish for the iceberg too.
Speaker 4 (14:02):
No, because iceberg already exists.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
So you can have as many icebergs as you want.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
That free.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
I mean, it's unlimited frozen coke for life.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
No, it's not. It's three wishes.
Speaker 9 (14:13):
Would be an ice model of it's.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
Three it's three ices.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
What if I wish for unlimited frozen cokes forever?
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Yeah, that'd be fine in my opinion. That's fine.
Speaker 11 (14:23):
Okay, unlimited frozen ice What is it like the ice.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Snow cone, ice chips?
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (14:31):
You know, if you get a fridge that makes ice chips.
You get unlimited free ice chips.
Speaker 11 (14:34):
I want the ice chips.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
I also, how underrated are snow cones?
Speaker 4 (14:39):
Snow coats? Great snow cones with the rainbow on it? Yeah,
very good.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Did you guys have slush puppies growing up?
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Is that a slushy?
Speaker 5 (14:48):
But it's like it's different to a frozen different consistency.
It's like almost like tiny little bits of ice. I want.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
That's so yeah, yeah, so yeah, even conversation though it's
free sushi.
Speaker 3 (15:01):
It's just sushi, but would be kind of hilarious to.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Your friend forgets sick of you because every time you
went to a restaurant, you'd say, gosh, we get sushi,
and they go stop suggesting sushi. We know you get
it for free, and your poor sister's farting up a
storm or sushi. Your sister was in the middle of
a job interview, you had a time it.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
Well, that's the thing.
Speaker 5 (15:28):
I have sushi every day.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
Basically, I eat sushi at my sister's wedding. If that
was the power that I had, yum, sushi almost isn't
even the isn't even the the decider for me. It's
the ability to make my sister fart so bad that
it clears the room.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
I'm not gonna lie me.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Yeah, yeah, it's kind of fun. Yeah, it's kind of good.
So I'm sushi your sushi, sushi.
Speaker 9 (15:48):
Nice, I'll get some ice sushi.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
Don't don't come over here asking for sushi.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
Then don't don't get in my sister.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
Either, Banklin podcast.
Speaker 5 (16:00):
You've been on a bit of a health journey, haven't you,
Clint what over the last however many years, seen years,
you have to look after yourself a bit more up.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
And down here and there.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
So when I saw this study, I thought of you
and you'd be interested in it. So the study, essentially
a bunch of researchers from Harvard, right very good university,
tracked eleven hundred middle aged men, you know, over a
ten year period, and they were essentially tracking how many
(16:31):
push ups they could do and how it correlated with
their cardiovascular health.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
Do you love watching me work out, don't you? Okay?
All right, I thought.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
We could do a test this afternoon to see where
you are at, where you're at cardiovascularly?
Speaker 4 (16:48):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Do you want to know what this? What the best is?
Speaker 4 (16:52):
Sure?
Speaker 5 (16:52):
So you can Yeah, okay. So overall, those who could
do eleven push ups, they had a sixty four percent
chance lower risk of cardiovascular events occurring, but those who
could do forty or more forty or more, it was
a ninety six percent chance of lowering their heart problem.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
I'm going to do them on the desk for you, Ellis,
so you can get your little videos.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
On the desk.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
Oh, this is too much? Oh god ready?
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Okay, Okay, can I go?
Speaker 5 (17:30):
Okay, Claudia, you count?
Speaker 4 (17:35):
Are you counting?
Speaker 5 (17:37):
Okay? This is a weird angle for me. They're getting
a little bit shallow, but we'll We'll let you have it.
He's not talking very much now, is he. You're hunching
a bit.
Speaker 4 (17:57):
Okay, okay, do you want to get it here?
Speaker 6 (18:00):
Don't stop five, keep going. You're going to get to
forty forty and above. Go ahehead, come on any by
thirty six, thirty seven, thirty kills me.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
Thirty nine.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
All get back up there.
Speaker 5 (18:33):
I love that you doing the test for cardiovascular health.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
You nearly had a cardiovascular event. Yeah, how do you feel?
Speaker 4 (18:46):
Why are you choking? I'm the one that did the butcher.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
I'm just gonna have a sip of water a bit part.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
Does that mean I'm gonna love forever?
Speaker 5 (18:53):
Forever?
Speaker 3 (18:54):
Well done, the z in podcast Networks.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
Let's play what's the plots?
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Once upon a time there was a girl. She was smart, debatable, talented, eh, athletic,
not really, but picking a movie title based on just
the plot line that she can do. Brilli and Clint,
what's the plot?
Speaker 4 (19:18):
A movie guessing game where today, if you can beat Brie,
you will win three hundred and fifty dollars. Abby, welcome
to the show.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
Hi, Hello, Helloalo have you played before?
Speaker 7 (19:29):
I have not that look.
Speaker 9 (19:30):
I'm a big fan of yours, breather.
Speaker 7 (19:32):
I'm also really competitive, so this is.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
On I can here.
Speaker 5 (19:36):
I like it.
Speaker 4 (19:36):
No mercy, Abby, that's what bread, that's what brief offers. Okay,
if you respect her, you will beat her. Perfect perfect today, Abby,
our theme because we're after the radio awards and we've
never won a radio award ever. So these are underdog stories,
rags to riches, unlikely heroes, that kind of thing.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
Okay, God, I love an underdog story.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
Your buzzer is your name. You don't have to wait
for me to finish the plotline to buzz in and
have a guess. And the first person to two correct
movies wins the game.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
Here we go, guys, mister luck Abby and you.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Movie number one. Our hero is a sweet natured, small
town pizza maker whose life changes suddenly when he inherits
a forty billion dollar media empire. Free mister Deeds, Adam Sandler.
Speaker 6 (20:32):
I have never even heard of that.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Yes, mister Deeds. And he gets the servant who's got
the blackfoot like the dead foot, and he stabs it
with a fire poker. Such a good wow. Okay, highly
recommend movie number two, Abbe, you need this one a cain,
I know. Movie number two, a hard working hotel employee
(20:54):
is mistaken for a wealthy socialite after a chance encounter
with Abby.
Speaker 9 (21:00):
Is it the Grand Hotel?
Speaker 5 (21:02):
No free guest, Brie, No guess from me?
Speaker 4 (21:06):
No, okay, she's mistaken for a wealthy socialite after a
chance and kree Oh.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
The one with Leidy Gobez something mono coo, no Nobby,
Yeah it.
Speaker 9 (21:20):
Made in Manhattan.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
Ah, of course it is good job Abby.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
We are all tied up at all the job with
the music.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
Hold on, that's better.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
We're all tied up.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
Oh, I hate when we're all tied up.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
And if not, and if not us, who who's if

Speaker 3 (22:43):
I'm going to have a baby in under two months.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
That's crazy, man.
Speaker 5 (22:45):
Under two months, the baby will be here and things
are starting to get really real. One of the things
that I think is quite tough is deciding on what
to name a human.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
It's the biggest challenge.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Very difficult. And you've got all these people.
Speaker 8 (23:05):
That want to put in the take it seriously enough,
it's the big Maybe one of these fitt that's character,
don't do that.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
Don't do that.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
It might be one of the biggest decisions of your life.
Speaker 4 (23:19):
Yeah, well it's the biggest decision of their life.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
Yeah, one of them.
Speaker 5 (23:23):
I came across this woman on TikTok who was talking
about how they gave their son a very unique name, right,
and it made me think maybe I need to go
more unique, more wild.
Speaker 4 (23:39):
It hasn't been my advice so far.
Speaker 5 (23:40):
But do you want to hear Do you want to
hear what this woman has named her son?
Speaker 4 (23:45):
Listen, my son is.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Seven months old and I have never announced his name
on here.
Speaker 9 (23:50):
His name is.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
Grizzly O'Dell, so grizzly his first name.
Speaker 5 (23:55):
Odell's his middle name, and we love it.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
Grizzly Odell.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
He's what do you think?
Speaker 4 (24:02):
I guarantee you he's not the only Grizzly out there.
There'd be more grizzlies. Surely. I don't have a problem
with Odell.
Speaker 5 (24:10):
You quite like Odell.
Speaker 10 (24:12):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
It's a name, isn't it?
Speaker 5 (24:14):
Would you like it more?
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Is the first name. What about a first name, Odell Grizzly,
it's barely a middle name. It's definitely a surname.
Speaker 5 (24:21):
Okay, Grizzly.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
What's what's his nickname, Grizz Grizzy Grizz. There's a Grizz
who was the coach of the All Blacks?
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Was that?
Speaker 4 (24:30):
Yeah? But I think it was his nickname, not his
real name.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
No, not based off his real name, Griz Wiley. That's cool, Wiley.
I've set you guys a challenge this afternoon to come
up with some unique baby name options for me and
my partner.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
So these are names that we don't believe up to
now exist, and we've also tailored them to you specifically. Okay, yep, so.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Great is open to suggestions.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
I think you guys may have a bit more on
yours than mine, and I'll go first. I've tried to
combine your names, but in a nice way, a nice way, yeah,
and I've tried to keep it unique. So why don't
you call your baby Bruna.
Speaker 5 (25:16):
Bruna?
Speaker 11 (25:17):
Bruna Bruna sounds like someone you love.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
Sounds like Bruno, but the girl version. Yeah, Well it's
because fire and bre Bruna. Yeah, but it'd be the
girl version of Bruno.
Speaker 9 (25:29):
Who's the you?
Speaker 10 (25:31):
What?
Speaker 4 (25:31):
Where's the inn Bree?
Speaker 3 (25:33):
And this wouldn't it be Bruner?
Speaker 4 (25:39):
Okay, let's hear yours? Then Ella.
Speaker 11 (25:46):
Lavender Gaga Gaga because of Lady Gago, which you love
and lavender quite weird and out there flower name cute.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
We could nickname the baby Levy.
Speaker 5 (25:58):
Do you like it?
Speaker 4 (26:00):
Room could be the lava tree.
Speaker 5 (26:02):
Don't hate it?
Speaker 11 (26:03):
I do.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
Claudia Claudia favorite okay?
Speaker 9 (26:09):
Yeah, Pennay Marone, Pinnai Marone.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
Is my little baby, penn don't hate it?
Speaker 4 (26:23):
Are you seriously upset that we like that more than
Leavender Gaga?
Speaker 9 (26:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Well I got more?
Speaker 4 (26:28):
Okay, Okay, okay, it's very serious, your best one, and
if it's not better than Claudia's one, you don't get
to do anymore. Okay. So there's a unique baby names
the Weird Brings baby.
Speaker 9 (26:41):
Darcy Apple because you couldn't just let me have it.
Speaker 11 (26:45):
You grow up on an apple farm.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
Yeah, what's Darcy?
Speaker 9 (26:48):
Cool?
Speaker 10 (26:49):
Mate?
Speaker 4 (26:49):
What's unique about it?
Speaker 5 (26:52):
I quite like it, Darcy Apple?
Speaker 9 (26:55):
What about just quickly? Winter Green?
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Love Winter Greens?
Speaker 9 (26:59):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
I don't even know where the bars I hate this
game was the best. Why are we even doing this?
Speaker 1 (27:06):
As z m's Brinklin Podcast.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
I think we can all agree, guys, that bonding is
a lovely thing.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
Right, Yes, we all agree. What keeps friends together? Is
it bonding? Didn't you bonding?
Speaker 10 (27:20):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (27:20):
Bonding?
Speaker 5 (27:21):
Bonding is great. And with that in mind, for us
to bond this afternoon, are we willing to be negative
for a minute?
Speaker 4 (27:33):
What sort of bonding are you talking about doing?
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Can I interest you in something called hate bonding?
Speaker 5 (27:39):
Yes? You can. I heard about this study and I've
got this clip here of some people talking about a
study around hate bonding and how it brings people closer together.
Speaker 12 (27:51):
A new study has shown that the strongest friendships in
life come from hating the same people and things, and
that people and friendships are galvanized and forged with gossip.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Bitching and hating the same group of people.
Speaker 12 (28:02):
Bonding over a mutual enemy, whether it's a person's sports
team or even food, can speed up the closeness and
fast track you to best friends status.
Speaker 10 (28:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:10):
Now, with that in mind, shall we do a bit
of hate bonding this afternoon?
Speaker 4 (28:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Okay, only just for now. Well, let's be negative now
and then we move on.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
We go back straight back to being positive. Exactly. I
do do this with my friend groups. Yeah, we hate
bond over the Crusaders, okay, because none of us support
the Crusaders and the Crusaders and as a cantab you
will know this. You guys just keep winning and this
year when you were losing at the start, where like
it's not happening this year and now it looks like
you're gonna win again. So we hate bond over the Crusaders.
Speaker 5 (28:41):
So you guys are like the New South Wales supporters
hating them because trying to relate what that feels like.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
But yes, I get that. It's the same as people
hating on the Melbourne Storms because.
Speaker 5 (28:55):
They're so good.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Because they're so good yea, and they won't eat even
in the competition for like a couple of years and
made the finals.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
Anyway, anybody got a person they want to check up
for hate bonding?
Speaker 3 (29:05):
Ella Jake Killenhall still not over it because of.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
The Taylor Swift thing. Yeah, why you my wife anyone
else is going to bond with? Get on that. I
can get on that.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
He must have been awful.
Speaker 11 (29:22):
He was awful, so awful that she wrote all too well,
and the song cuts.
Speaker 4 (29:26):
Deep full ten minutes, all ten minutes of her. All right,
Jake Chillen, Jake.
Speaker 9 (29:32):
Dyllan, I'll throw a risky one Outleah Michelle.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
Do we hate Liam Michelle? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (29:40):
Hate is a strange word, strong word.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
That is a strong word.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
Does anyone particularly love her?
Speaker 4 (29:46):
I can honestly say I haven't thought about Liah Michelle
for probably four or five years, ever since that story
was going around that she couldn't read.
Speaker 5 (29:54):
What do you mean the story?
Speaker 3 (29:55):
You mean the fact, Liam Michelle, Clint anyone.
Speaker 4 (30:01):
I just want to bond with you, guys. Oh gosh,
how bad is that Scooter Broad guys.
Speaker 5 (30:11):
Produced Ella Jojo Sea, she's got she has, she's got
pink eye at the moment, leave her alive.
Speaker 3 (30:20):
Yes, she has to wear a patch. She can put
a Jojo bow over the eye.
Speaker 5 (30:24):
That's what I think she did say that.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
I reckon you got Jojo?
Speaker 5 (30:29):
Then I really I really want to hate, but just
fel like hating a child punching down.
Speaker 4 (30:37):
So in the spirit a bit of a hate crime,
to be honest, Ella, she's straight now, Oh yeah, sorry,
back to you.
Speaker 5 (30:43):
In the spirit of getting all of you guys on
the band wagon. I'm going to go with someone that
I reckon is a different We can all hate b.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
This is big hope you haven't messed the mark I
want to put for.
Speaker 5 (31:00):
The hate bond over a doll Hitler.
Speaker 9 (31:04):
Whoa I hate that guy?
Speaker 4 (31:07):
Well, duh. When we when we came up with this segment.
When we come up with this segment, Ella was like,
could I could I do Trump? And we were like no,
too obvious.
Speaker 3 (31:20):

So my partner, my fiance, Safhia, is currently thirty three
weeks pregnant.
Speaker 4 (34:46):
Yeah, holy smoke, she's there.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
She's there like she is pregnant, real pregnant.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
You said, big as a house before though I did not.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
She actually.
Speaker 4 (34:58):
Isn't at all.
Speaker 5 (34:59):
She's beautiful carrying it well, I know, I know, this
is why it was crazy. I'm in awe of this
woman honestly, like she's just everything in her stride. I
feel like she's like an unbelievably good pregnant person. But
there is one thing that's really been pissing me off
(35:20):
during this pregnancy, and it's slowly starting to really piss
me off more and more. Okay, And I wanted to
get your guys take on it, produces Clint, because we
are all good friends here, and I want you guys
to tell me if I'm allowed to be a little
bit upset about this situation.
Speaker 4 (35:37):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 9 (35:39):
Earlier I'm on the side of the pregnant woman.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
Well, I've had a pregnant wait, I mean, my wife's
been pregnant, wait to a pregnant foe. I wonder if
I wonder if I've.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Experienced medical marvel.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
I don't think you would have.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
So here's what's really pissing me off about my partners
surfis pregnancy. There's only one thing is the fact that
all of the clothes she's wearing her maternity clothes are
just my normal freaking clothes. My wardrobe has become maternity wearer.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
And I've had enough.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
You know, I didn't experience this one had.
Speaker 5 (36:27):
Are you doing nothing for my self confidence?
Speaker 3 (36:31):
She looks better in it than I do.
Speaker 4 (36:34):
Well, in her defense, you do enjoy those jeans that
have got elastic at the top of them. You know,
they've got an elastic huge elastic beds way more. And
you have been wearing your jeans with a hair tie
extender on the beltlet for a while so that they
have what you call pasta expansion room.
Speaker 5 (36:51):
Yeah, I love hay shit.
Speaker 3 (36:53):
Yeah, well, I have pants that I wear to certain restaurants.
Speaker 4 (36:56):
Yeah, and you constantly tell us you're thirty three weeks
pregnant with a food baby.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
In all seriousness, So I'm being so legit. All of
the pants that she is currently weary, my pants be're
mine and her and I And then people will chime
in and they'll go, oh, but you know, she's not
as tall as you were, the same height, So you're
telling me that my partner thirty three weeks pregnant.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
God, she looked looks amazing.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
Yeah, well, you would say that she's dressing as you
right now. Well, she's it's my bloody.
Speaker 9 (37:30):
Wardrobe more attracted to her.
Speaker 6 (37:33):
You're telling me, at thirty three weeks pregnant, this is
when we can share a wardrobe.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
It's the only time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I feel better
to get that off my chest. Do you guys think
I have a right to be a bit annoyed? So
long as when you guys go out, people don't say,
so which one of you is pregnant?
Speaker 3 (37:53):
That happened the other day.
Speaker 5 (37:59):
Would you say you were a spoiled brat when you
were a kid. No, I feel like that's one of
the worst things you can be called as a kid.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
I don't believe I was a spoiled bratt.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
You don't think so.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
Nah, I had a job, you got to you got
to save my pocket money for the things that I wanted.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
Didn't you have your own sky?
Speaker 4 (38:16):
I had my own sky that I paid for with
my job, with my paper run.
Speaker 5 (38:21):
We definitely weren't spoiled Bret's either growing up, but some
of our cousins definitely were, and we talked about it.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
But this takes the cake.
Speaker 5 (38:29):
This story's going viral around the world about I believe
it's over in America and it's a girl who has
just graduated high school. Okay, so she's seventeen and as
her graduation present, her parents gift her a brand new car.
Speaker 4 (38:48):
Okay, so I mean amazing, it's amazing.
Speaker 5 (38:52):
I know that didn't happen to me.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
No, but there's brand new cars, and there's brand new cars. Right,
there's a Suzuki Swift and there's a Binley.
Speaker 5 (38:58):
Are you sure you weren't a spoiled bread Why? I
think it's a brand new car?
Speaker 3 (39:03):
Is a brand new car?
Speaker 4 (39:04):
You don't think there's a difference between a brand new
Suzuki Swift for seventeen grand and a brand new Lamborghini
for three hundred grand.
Speaker 5 (39:10):
Of course there's a difference, but it's still a brand
new car. You've been gifted and you should be grateful
no matter what.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Yeah right, yeah, well, she got gifted a brand new
Sometimes it's financially more responsible to give your child a
new car, you know, because it comes with a service plan.
I feel like you're really easier.
Speaker 3 (39:26):
To ensure pro new car for a seventeen year old.
Speaker 5 (39:29):
It could be I could be employd Well, hey, let
me give you the details of this and then you
tell me, how you feel laughing if.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
You've got one of those new mgs that everyone's getting,
they look very affordable.
Speaker 5 (39:38):
Well, this was a Honda, a great car, great brand,
and it was brand new. It was a nice looking
Honda too, like I reckon, like top of the range Honda.
Speaker 2 (39:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (39:48):
And anyway, so she's obviously this is the text exchange
between her and her mum after she's received the car,
and then she's obviously gone somewhere and her mum's text
her this, Hey, where did you go? She takes back,
I'm with dad. Okay, you didn't seem like you like
the car. The daughter replied, I don't. I wasn't expecting
(40:09):
to get a Benz or a BMW. Oh sorry, I don't.
I was expecting to get a Mercedes Benz or a BMW.
I appreciate you, mum, but it's just not my style.
You drive a g Wagon, so me driving a basic
Honda is weird. The mum replies, you realize you just
(40:30):
graduated high school, right, You have a roof over your head,
You don't have to pay bills, college is paid for,
you don't have to rush and leave home. Your life
is set. So to sit up and tell me you
don't like the car. I'm pretty upset. It continues on,
I paid cash for the car. It's completely paid off.
(40:50):
That's very ungrateful. The daughter replies, just sell it. Then
I don't want it.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
Ooh yuck. No, do you sell it and you don't
get them another car? That's it?
Speaker 5 (41:04):
The only way for it is the only way forward,
and they can buy their own damn car.
Speaker 4 (41:09):
Yeah you know, yeah, yeah the goal? Ah yeah, would
you feel like you've failed as a parent a little bit?
A little bit because you're mad about it? You're mad
about it, But then you go, oh, damn, we raised
that kid. We've created this selfish brand. What are the
parents are?
Speaker 3 (41:29):
The show of hands in the room? Who got given
a car? Their first car?
Speaker 4 (41:34):
I got given money towards O and I think I
put a little bit of money out. Yeah yeah, producers.
Speaker 3 (41:40):
Did you guys ever get given a car given the
use of my dad's car?
Speaker 4 (41:44):
That's good?
Speaker 9 (41:45):
Didn't want that?
Speaker 7 (41:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (41:46):
Okay, okay, so you get given the second hand handed
me down car?
Speaker 11 (41:50):
Ella, Yeah, I got given a car. It was a
Honda Logo for one thousand, five hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (41:54):
Yeah, girl, I was going to say a Honda. This
wasn't new texting your mumbles.
Speaker 4 (42:03):
Sound the cheating siren. There's a new way to get
away with cheating everybody?
Speaker 3 (42:09):
What Yeah, Snapchat. Everyone's on Snapchat doing it right?
Speaker 4 (42:13):
No, that's old school. In fact, if you sorry, I
cheated of cheating, Yeah, surely Snapchat is the first place
you look at morely, your snapstreak did give away?
Speaker 5 (42:26):
Yeah, how true is that?
Speaker 4 (42:28):
Or so I've heard? Anyway, the new way to cheat
is via an app, because everything's via an app these days.
The interesting better is we.
Speaker 10 (42:34):
All have this.
Speaker 4 (42:35):
I know what it is.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
What is it?
Speaker 4 (42:37):
Banking app? How do you cheat with the banking app?
Speaker 3 (42:40):
Every time you send money? Put a little note in there.
Speaker 4 (42:44):
But the note can only be like seven letters? Yeah,
it short, L O V E.
Speaker 2 (42:50):
Y Oh.
Speaker 5 (42:52):
But you've got you three categories. Oh yeah, you know,
so you've got extra room and okay, so that's the particulars. Yeah,
the ode can be six and the reference can be
two nights?
Speaker 3 (43:04):
Question mark or are you just go real simple in
one of them?
Speaker 5 (43:08):
You up?
Speaker 2 (43:09):
You up?
Speaker 5 (43:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (43:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (43:10):
Yeah. You don't even get a notification for your banking though,
well maybe you can. You know, it's not banking all right.
The new way to cheat is via the notes app.
Oh no, not cheating in the notes app.
Speaker 5 (43:23):
I have heard a lot about this because it's that
feature where you because my partner and I have this
where we share a note when we're doing like a
shopping list.
Speaker 4 (43:33):
That's exactly what it is. Yeah, So if you have
an iPhone and they have an iPhone, you can share
a note from your notes app, and it means they
can write in it, and you can see what they've written,
and they can write in it another way around, they
can see what you write in that. And what cheaters
are doing, guys, is they're just reading what the person
has put in there and then deleting it, and then
putting what they want in there, and then deleting it.
(43:54):
And then if you're really smart, you'll have a lot
of gibberty jebidly gobbledygoog at the top, the top, and
then down to the bottom as we do your cheating chat,
and then you might even have more gobbledygoog after.
Speaker 3 (44:06):
That and in the middle somewhere like a cheating sandwich, like.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
Those invisible ink markers that you used to write, where
there's a kid when you're pretending to be a spy.
Speaker 5 (44:17):
This is scandalous, scandless. The notes app is so wholesome.
Speaker 4 (44:22):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 3 (44:22):
It's for shopping lists.
Speaker 5 (44:24):
It's for song lyric measurements, measurements for you to do
lists when you get overwhelmed.
Speaker 4 (44:31):
It's for poetry. We found on Breeze phones for break
up poetry that she writes, beautiful poetry. Anybody using their
notes app for anything else. Present ideas for yourself.
Speaker 9 (44:43):
People think of it early, write it down by the
time Christmas comes around.
Speaker 4 (44:46):
That's a nice idea.
Speaker 3 (44:47):
I used to This is such an embarrassing story.
Speaker 5 (44:50):
I used to use my note section and I still do,
where I'd write down video ideas for content, for content
that's right, right, No wait, wait wait, I haven't got
to the awkward part yet. And so I'd write down
ideas and they most of the time were just like
I'd write down any idea that came to mind.
Speaker 4 (45:10):
Not all were good.
Speaker 5 (45:11):
And when I was traveling on that family holiday, it
was me and my mom and my dad and we
did a week in Italy and then I was meeting
up with my partner Safire and her family.
Speaker 3 (45:23):
After Yes, anyway, I must.
Speaker 5 (45:26):
Have I don't know how I did it, but I had,
for some reason, started writing down video ideas in a
shared note that I had with her, And because I
was with my mum, I was writing down all these
weird ass ideas, like weird stuff, and I didn't realize
that she and her brother and his partner were all
(45:46):
laughing about it on their family holiday, going, oh, look
at the new idea that Breeze wrote down.
Speaker 4 (45:52):
They're like, why has Bri written fifteen times? And here
fart on mom and video.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
It was so embarrassing because then we all met up,
they were like, how did this idea go?
Speaker 4 (46:02):
Well, not to give Cheetah's ideas, but you can also
do this in a sheared Google document. No one's chicking
your Google drive for your Google document. You can also
share photos in there.
Speaker 5 (46:15):
You can, Oh, you can do it.
Speaker 4 (46:17):
You can do a slideshow presentation to the person you're
cheating on with No, don't, don't want, don't do a
presentation for the one you're cheating on. Hey, at least
it's a presentation about how you're not cheating on them
whilst meantime you are cheating on them.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
