There's forty five seconds left.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
What a game it has been. The All Whites have
led twice in the game. They drew first blood in
the first half and then Iran, yeah, and then Iran's
scored back, and then we scored first in the second
half and then they scored back. Oh my god.

the third time that New Zealand have been at a

Be with a win because we did lead twice. But
I mean a draw pretty good.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
What I'm learning about soccer football though, because it's not
my game. There's people who watch soccer football love a draw.
Sometimes teams go out there and their goal is to
get a drawer. It is.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I've watched it before. They're like, we go, we're playing
for a drawer.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Where have you got that from.

Speaker 1 (01:49):

all draw and last night's game, what a game?

He goes, I hated it. I hated sharing a name
with him. Yes, he goes, there's good points and bad
points about sharing a name with Russell Crowe. So you

(10:23):

like where you know you've called up to make a
reservation or that. He goes, It's definitely happened before. And
I haven't mentioned that I'm not the real Russell Crowe.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
No, nor should he need to, because he is the
real Russell Crowe. True, He's just not the Russell Crow
from the movie because if they say, is this really
Russell Kruscht, Yeah, go, yeah it is, and then when he.

share a name?

Speaker 4 (11:33):

famous person? I knew a guy in two thousand and

but I met him just after not the best situation,
kind of the worst time to be named Chris Brown.

Speaker 5 (11:49):

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Yeah yeah yeah, your name could be black Crocker.

Speaker 3 (12:21):

Speaker 1 (12:24):
The goalkeeper for the Black Sticks used to be Helen
Clark amazing, which is very good. I think she was
goalkeeper while Helen Clark was Prime Minister. So good.

Speaker 3 (12:37):

Speaker 3 (13:04):
She as an animatist and transforms into a cat.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
Yeah. I meant yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
And do you like it or do you dislike it?
Love it? I am the biggest Harry Potter lord and
has been. I could be worst cat. You could have
the last name rowling well Bottom or long bottom.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah from Harry Potter.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Where does McGonagall. Where does that name? Where does it

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Of course the program.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
We want to know.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Do you share a famous name? Oh, Sarah Lee's here? Hi,
Sarah Lee, shut up shorter from the Sarah Lee.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Can I just say I love your work?

Speaker 4 (13:52):

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Oh you're so very welcome. God your girl, you bring ship. Wait,
Sarah Lee is a safery girl. Did you say is.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
There any kind of you know, conception story here?

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Were your parents sharing a Sarah Lee cheesecake the night
that you were made or something like that?

Speaker 4 (14:14):
Or is it pure?

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Girl?

Speaker 5 (14:16):
I wish it was that cool.

Speaker 8 (14:18):
Just no, it is not.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
So I've got a double barrel name like my big sister.
And they just put it together.

Speaker 9 (14:25):
And then it was like six months later and I
had an auntie in New York and they sprung my mum.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
And said, are you were weird?

Speaker 3 (14:30):
There's a cheesecake label over here.

Speaker 5 (14:33):
And it was before they came to New Zealand.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
And you're the original Sarah Lee.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (14:39):
Yeah, yeah, all yeah, Sarah you would get along with
my sister Viennetta. Yes, guys, did it off?

Speaker 1 (14:51):
We asked you guys if you have a famous name
of some great texts. Someone said, my principal's name was
Michael Jackson. What he's older than the singer, and it
annoyed him so much he made us call him Mike.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Fair enough, I kind of get that. Someone else said,
my mum's landlord during my childhood for fifteen years for
our house rental name was Peter Jackson. So mum hated
writing his name on the things. So everyone was like, yeah, right, sure,
Peter Jackson.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Peter Jackson does own a lot of property. And someone said,
my teacher's name was Michael Myers, like the murderer, but
he went by Mike Myers, the guy who plays Shrek.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Fair enough, much better.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Michael Meyer's mythical character is he? Yeah right, I'm pretty
sure the chainsaw Masters? Yeah, the horror the horror like
you know, not like what's like one of the famous murderers. Bone, No,
you can't use that one. What's that guy? What's the

(16:01):
one that they made?

Speaker 4 (16:02):
Sorry allegedly?

Speaker 5 (16:05):
Ah.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
Someone else said, let's move along. My name is Elizabeth Taylor,
and I'm cool with all the kids because Taylor Swift
wrote a song about me. That's what I think anyway.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
That makes it cool again. Now. My mum's name is
Jane Goodall, the Monkey Lady.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Some people ask if she was the actual Gorilla Lady,
about thirty years younger.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Actually, God, so you'd.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Be like, no, I'm way younger than her. Someone else said,
my partner's best friend's name is Andrew Taate. Oh you'd
be so gutted, wouldn't you.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Hi, guys, I'm Chris Brown, age sixty nine. Oh so
you were the first You were the original sixty nine.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
That's less Runner and more walker.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Yeah. Someone else said, my name is Alex Jones. I
always get people asking me about conspiracy theory.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Yes, that one is unfortunate.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Unfortunate one. What else will we got here? Oh? This
one's good. My maiden name's my maiden started with an E.
So my first name is Jackie. So my name would
be Jackie E. The women's clothing brand years Jackie E.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
Yeah, yeah, yep, yeah. I thought they're going to do
a Jackie Oh, but no Jackie be.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Heaps of Jackie Oh's kicking around.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Not someone famous, But I share the name with someone
else that did a hairdressing course, and her certificates keep
getting posted to me.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
So annoying. Just take out so bloody annoying. Take it
go and do some haircuts. Yeah, certificate, you're like, no,
I'm certified. This is me.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Brand clin.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
What are the health rules that we kind of you
know that five plus a day unanimous? Yeah, five plus
a day.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Thirty minutes a day. You've got to push play?

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Is it ten thousand steps? Ten thousand steps a day?
Two liters of water?

Speaker 4 (17:53):
Eight glasses of water? I thought, is that two leaders?
Two leaders? Seems like a lot? Is it two leads?
If you're shreading.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Liters two liters in summer when it's hot, is it.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Two leaders? I'm not getting it.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
You don't reckon. That'd be two of your water bottles.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
I'm not getting through two of those.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
You're not.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
I get through at least one, Yeah, which I don't
think is enough. It says eight glasses of water based
on a standard glass, equals approximately two leaders.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Okay, then yeah, I'm doing it. Yeah, there's water and coffee.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
And I loved when we found that out that it
counts that anything you're drinking. If you're drinking a cup
of tea, that counts.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
What if I'm having a white monster, I'm going to
say that doesn't count their water and white. So that'd
be a great test to find out they do it
and they, like guys, turns out no water.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
Why is it? Wit? We don't know.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
We don't know what the liquid is. And of course
it is how many hours of sleep? Eight is that
I've been told eight hours of sleep is what you
guys know, producers.

Speaker 5 (19:00):
What we know.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
It's maybe not what we do. Well, there's a new study.
I'm not saying that this is the be all and
end all, but there is a new study that's quite
extensive where they have found that that might not be
the case after all. Really, Okay, so researchers have examined
sleep data from around five hundred thousand people.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
There's so much sleep data out there now because we're
all wearing a wearable to bid.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Yeah yeah, so they've got a heap of it. And
they compared all the participants recorded sleep habits and measures
of biological aging throughout the body, and their findings, according
to this study, revealed between six point four and seven

(19:49):
point eight hours a night appeared to be the best
in terms of how those people were aging according to
their other.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but if you go to bit at
ten and you wake up at sex, then it's probably
like a twenty minute falling asleep window there for some
people your latency and maybe are getting up to Wii
window as well, both of which I have.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
I don't deal with. I don't wake up to wei
and I've a a sely been one minute.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
I'm the worst person to share a bed with it
because you just get mad at me for being asleep.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
So you know that's me thing.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Cool?

Speaker 1 (20:28):
I don't, It's not for me. I'm such a baby.
If I get anything with a sex in front of it,
I'm such a grumpy.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Yeah, I don't want six seven hours. I feel like six.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Oh what it's the accent. Sorry, it's the.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Oh because my accent sounds like I'm saying that word
over your accent.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
God, and you say it no. I thought you were
saying no, don't you say. I thought you were saying
you don't want that thing when you haven't had enough sleep.
I thought that's the way the sentence was going, because
I was like, I don't want to talk to anyone.
You're like, yeah, I don't want son, get me start
hours of sleep, don't get me started on the morning.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
I just don't want that in the morning, ever. People
who say in the morning that's the best time, No,
it's not. It is not the last the last thing
I want when I wake up and I'm groggy and
I've got bad breath and I'm like kind of disorientated,
I don't want that in the morning. Who is pushing that? Look, Ella,

(21:29):
Ella's saying that you agree with that statement, not me.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Definitely doesn't want that, especially if she's had a rough
night of six.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
Hours of sleep.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Anyway, six point four, seven point eight. They say you're
good to go.

Speaker 2 (21:43):

Speaker 4 (22:00):
He'll be up there he's rolling stones Age.

Speaker 8 (22:10):
Producers can say seventy four, we'll go old ninety three.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Ella doesn't know who he is. So he's eighty one? WHOA, Okay,
he's eighty one, still performing, still performing, but recently that's
our goal.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
A yeah, still be performing at eighty one, still doing
this at eighty one on the mic. That's what Bri

nine year old Chris Brown text us before that's.

Oh true, Okay, no prize, just for the fun of it.
Text us on nine six ninety six. Rod Stewart, let's
get back on track. I took by ADHD medication today too.
He's in the news at the moment. He's in trouble
with the fans. He's in big trouble. He had to
cancel his concert where he was performing at California. He

(23:29):
was meant to perform last week, okay, and he had
to cancel it last minute after a reoccurring battle with
a sinus infection meant he couldn't hit the stage. So
he's having problems with his voice, or that's what he said.
That's what he told everyone. And look, I mean, I'm
assuming he's now in trouble after he was spotted at

(23:51):
a fief for World Cup game cheering on his Mighty
Scottish team.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Oh no, no, so that's how he lost his voice.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
No, no, no, no, he's called off the concert and
then like oh wait, wait wait a couple of days later, Yeah,
he's been spotted at a feefa game the.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
Way around, other way around. So he was fine?

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Yeah, I thought, well, I don't know if he was fine,
but according to reports, there's photos of him barracking and
cheering on his team loudly.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
We've had a text from a seventy year old who
loves listening to us. Hell yeah, a sixty seven year
old listening right now in a four month old. Oh
it's from the say can they text that young?

Speaker 4 (24:34):

That's We've got to get these kids off the devices. Eh.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
Someone said, I'm twenty six, but my back and knees
feel like they're ninety two. Yeah does that count? So wait,
what's Rod done wrong?

Speaker 1 (24:44):
He canceled his show and then he went to a
football game three days later.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
No, I think it's like a day two days later
where he was like yelling and screaming and drinking. Right, Okay,
it just doesn't look bad. It could all be true.
He could have had laryngitis and a sign.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Had a miraculous recovery. Maybe some some really good anti
biotis and you know.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
What, you know what I say at eighty one, I
mean pull a sicky if you need to and go.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
You can't go.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
You beloved Scottish team playing people well paid for tickets.
This could be the last time.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
No, I don't put the concert on them. You can't
because people have bought tickets, hotels and fly boo hooo.
They'll buy to you. Do you know how passed off?

Speaker 3 (25:28):
You'd be?

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Yeah, bloody because you flew to Lady Gaga and Sydney
last year.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
True, how passed off?

Speaker 3 (25:37):
Would you be pretty annoyed if she.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
Cance on her show and then the next day you
saw she was in the crowded Let me be the.

Speaker 3 (25:43):

year old. Please, someone's tick sentence ninety three and listening.
That's why I want them to call.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Yes, call them right.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
We want to talk to that ninety three year old
right now. And if they sound ninety three, we're going
to give them a prize. Okay, yep, if no, if
we believe yeah, that's right, they're ninety I believe that
they are ninety three, well, and they will get a prize.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
Give me straight to voicemail and then a young man's voice.

Blake, You got done like a dinner Blake, I appreciate
the effort, though someone ticks through. He said, ninety five
call there.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Well that one we were talking about how Rod's canceled
his show and then seen in a football game. Someone said,
this is just like jelly Roll canceling his show in
Auckland last year, and then he got spotted on an
Aussie balcony the day after. I didn't know that detail.
He got jelly rolled, and that we didn't get to
see Shaboozie either. Shima Chaboozie was meant to be open.
I shouldn't understand because they canceled it late two hours

(27:26):
before the show. I shouldn't understand why Shahboozy didn't.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
Just go out there.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Yeah, people would have loved him for that would have
been great. Did you call the ninety we call him
ninety five? Better text here it says I am ninety eight.

Speaker 4 (27:37):
We're calling them.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
There's no way to Colnea is saying don't do it,
it's dangerous. Were throwing caution to the win. This could
be a radio award.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
What are you scared of Colaudia talking to a ninety
eight year old?

Speaker 1 (27:53):
They if this is if they sound ninety eight they're
going to win a prize.

Speaker 4 (27:59):
Oh, Hi, who's this? Are you there? Oh? They hung up.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
And the ninety five year old person that text three.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
I think they're screened.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
They screen does as well. No one willing.

Speaker 4 (28:16):
It's because no one.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Has that age and back up their claims of being
in their nineties. We would at surely there is someone
that has in their nineties that has listened to this
show before.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
We want to know from you guys, did you get
busted on a sekie like rock and Rod like jelly roll,
because that's like clear when she took that seki and
went to sploil.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
No, she never got busted for that obed years later
we found out. So she got away.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
With Get Me the z M podcast network.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
So we want to know, did you get busted on
a Sackie robs here? Hey, Rob Hi, Rob Hello?

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Tell us rob Jack Asiki.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
The wife actually did?

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Oh and she got caught yeah, big.

Speaker 5 (29:01):
Big time. Then came in nineteen seventy something something. She
was beating at the airport and took the day off
work and the Herald came along and snapped the photo
when she was getting talked to my other god, you know,
and then her boss the following day with that was
a good SHICKI that you've got.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Yeah, wait, but she got to meet Elton John.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
She got to meet out.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Wow, that's worth it. That's worth I wrap over the
knuckles from your boss.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
What still got the book that he signed and the
photo from the Herald?

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Amazing? What a way to get found out a photo
in the Herald.

Speaker 5 (29:37):
Yeah. Yeah, I'm only sixty, but I've been listening to
them for forty years, So does that make me a
hundred much rob?

Speaker 4 (29:46):
Yeah? Yeah, bloody good.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
I love it. Good, we appreciate it. Thank you.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
We asked you guys. Did you get busted on a sickie?

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Someone said, when my husband was eighteen, he pulled a
sicky and went to the skatepark and broke his arm.
His mum took a photo and put it on Facebook.
Oh no, she tagged him and his work sore. He
was lit go the next day.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
That's rough. Oh, that's a bit rough. Someone else said,
my dad got busted. He took a sickie and ended
up driving his classic car around town. It's a very
obvious car because it's one of a kind. His boss
drove straight past him. Yeah, it's like a beacon. Why
would you take that car?

Speaker 1 (30:24):
So you're showboating in the classic cartown. You're basically you're
asking to be care You've basically got a big sign
on top of your houses. Look at me, not me,
But one of my employees.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Called in sick.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
We had our Christmas party that evening and she still
turned up to the party absolutely nothing wrong with her.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
Wow, is that takes cajones to do that? Or just
like pure tone diffness? Like, yep, if you have a
sicky you don't get to go to the Christmas But no,
that's how it works. Someone else said, called him sick,
and then I bumped into a coworker at the mall
they had also called in. We both laughed. One of

(31:03):
my workers called in sick.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
I bumped into him later that day cashing in some
scrap at our local scrap dealers while I was doing
a load myself. What are the chances of that? Yeah,
fired him on the spot. WHOA really?

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Surely that mustn't have been the only thing.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
Must have been the final warning?

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Yeah, someone said, I pulled a sickie to go to
a rodeo whilst I was dairy farming. The owners had
two farms and I'd only met the other farm staff
once briefly. Anyway. Turns out the manager of the other
farm was a bull rider at the rodeo. He didn't
know I'd pulled a sickie, so he went back to
the big bosses and told them that he'd seen me.
I got a written warning.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
You can get a ridden warning for a fake sickie,
even if it's just one.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Yeah, like everyone doesn't Jeseu.

Speaker 1 (31:49):
You shouldn't dubbed yourself in Claudia could have been career limited.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
The amount of emergency department colleagues that get snapped on
a sick day due to their Strava count. Poor Katie
has strip throat, but she's just posted her best time
in a tin cave. What the hell?

Speaker 4 (32:07):
Don't post it?

Speaker 3 (32:08):
Why are you posting that? Use your brain?

Speaker 1 (32:11):
I know runners, though they're adict they can't not post.
They can't not post it, and why would they They
can't not run, and if they run, they can't not
track it. Yeah, and if they track it, they can't
not post it.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:23):
Otherwise, what was the.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Point of running if you don't tell anyone exactly? Someone
else said, I used to work a night shift in
a fancy hotel in Canada. One day, I came into
work and security, we're giving me a hard time for
being sick in the elevator the night before after a
night at the bar. I was at work that night
and had no idea what he was talking about. My
manager thought I got drunk at work. After a meeting
with security and my manager to review the footage, we

(32:47):
found out that it was actually my sister that had
worked the morning shift, so in fact, had too much
to drink. We lived in the same room, and he
thought it was me. They didn't know we were sisters. God,
you guys must look alike. Yeah, it was so creepy.

Speaker 4 (33:01):
Boss.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
On the cameras checking in, we were talking about before
they're trying to find our oldest listener, trying to find, yeah,
our oldest listener. And then a few people text in
and they were like, oh, I'm ninety. Someone text through
and they said, Hi, I'm not ninety, but my grandma
has just rung me on off of her home phone

(33:22):
to tell me that I need to text to tell
you guys that she is eighty five and she's listening.
She doesn't know how to text through, but listens to
you guys almost every day on her radio while she's
cooking dinner. They eat at five point thirty. I want
to talk to her. I want to know her name is.

Speaker 4 (33:37):
We can give her a shout out.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
Do we have her number? Do we have anything?

Speaker 8 (33:40):
I don't know what happened, but I think I called
the number. I think they gave me a dug like
a dud number. It's not working.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Who did you call? You call NaN's number?

Speaker 3 (33:50):
No?

Speaker 8 (33:51):
I called the person that text it through, so the grandchild. Yeah, yeah,
And they gave me the grandma's number.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
Okay, And have we tried grandma's number?

Speaker 9 (33:59):
But Grandma's was not working and now she's not picking
up either.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Did you put the area code in front of it?

Speaker 8 (34:05):
Because when you call on the home side, double check
triple ripple chick.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
I'm sure you did. For you did everything perfectly. I'm
sure you did. I'm not telling you at all. There's
another text here. Yeah, it says I live with my nana.
She's eighty six, turns eighty seven in September, but she
said she's too shy to talk.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
On the phone.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
Very cute with the NaNs, I hope. So that's demographic
that's the ultimate endorsement. Ella's got an update.

You can play along. See how you go if? You're

so she has to play on her own.

Speaker 4 (37:06):
He's got more musical knowledge too.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (37:11):
Sorry, she can play an instrument.

Speaker 9 (37:13):
Yep, well, I've got good knowledge. From twenty ten onwards.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
You found out recently that Jennet Jackson was Michael Jackson's sister.

Speaker 8 (37:21):
From twenty ten onwards, Chapel Rohan, Sprender Carpenter.

Speaker 3 (37:26):

Speaker 11 (38:41):
I don't like your attitude, but that is correct.

Speaker 8 (38:47):
Sorry everyone for yelling, but oh this feels lemon great.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Nothing worse than a winner.

Speaker 8 (38:56):
Why you guys suck at winning as well?

Speaker 3 (38:59):

Speaker 1 (39:16):
So true?

Speaker 4 (39:17):
Yeah, fifty KFC chicken dollars coming your way? Well done?

Speaker 3 (39:19):
Look at her them, look at it you.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
Claudia really has turned Ella off?

Speaker 3 (39:25):
Yes, I think that's for every I think it's mainly
for her safety.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
She's giving us the dude love groin action.

Speaker 3 (39:32):
She's she's cocking her leg on us, to we on us.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
It's just not classy, is it. It's not if that's
what winning looks like. I don't want to work.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
You know who wouldn't react like this? The all Blacks,
No way they're all class, all class.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
England.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
Yesterday in the news, the UK announced that they're going
to ban social media for under sixteen's. They've already done
this in Australia across the ditch. Have they done it
or are they getting it done?

Speaker 3 (40:04):
I feel like they did.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
Is it done?

Speaker 8 (40:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (40:06):
I feel like they did.

Speaker 4 (40:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
Right, Well, it's rolling out around the world, which means
it probably the way things are going. If UK have
done it and AUSSI you have done it, it won't be
long before it's done here. The UK government are hoping
to pass regulation by Christmas and ban social media for
under sixteens by early twenty twenty seven. The platforms that
they want to ban TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X.

Speaker 4 (40:32):
How many sixteen year olds are on X?

Speaker 3 (40:33):
How many people are on X anymore? Period?

Speaker 4 (40:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (40:37):
YouTube, which is a big one, to under sixteen one
on YouTube?

Speaker 3 (40:42):
Can they go on YouTube? Kids? I'd assume so, which is.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
Crazy because they're not kids. Under sixteen year olds are
not kids. Well they are, but you know, they don't
want to watch blippy. They're not like yeah, Snapchat threads,
which is the Instagram version of x Twitch. They want
to ban the from Twitch kick, I don't know kick
and read it as well. Won the moment they want

(41:06):
to ban them all, which is a big list. I
feel like some are worse than others. The apps they
won't ban. They won't ban messaging ones like what's happened
signal and I guess you know how you can have
Facebook Messenger without a Facebook page. Yeah, probably won't ban
that as well. The BBC went to a school yesterday
and asked some under sixteen's what they thought about the

(41:28):
social media ban.

Speaker 4 (41:30):
This is a.

Speaker 3 (41:30):
Clip of us my picture it. They're not going to
be very happy.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
No, they're not positive about it. Okay, this is one
girl who is under sixteen who will be affected by
the social media ban in the UK.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
Earlier we looked at screen time. What was your screen
time over the weekend?

Speaker 2 (41:44):
Nine hours?

Speaker 3 (41:44):
Nine hours?

Speaker 5 (41:45):
So suddenly you're going to have a lot more time
to fill and what will you do?

Speaker 3 (41:50):
Stare at all?

Speaker 1 (41:53):
Stare at a all.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
She's feelman, she's livid, she's so angry.

Speaker 1 (41:59):
And if it's nine hours that she's willing to admit to,
it's more it's ten, eleven, twelve, fourteen hours.

Speaker 4 (42:08):
Yeah, screen time.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
I feel like all of us are on our screens.
It will be more than that.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
Yeah, I know, I wish they'd bring in a I
wish they'd bringing a social media ban for me.

Speaker 3 (42:18):
I was just about to say, I wish I hope
that one day. Yeah, they bring in some sort of
thing that is on your phone. Yeah that after a
certain amount of use, it bans you. It's you out.
So the UK want to do that too.

Speaker 4 (42:33):
This is the problem. They've got no idea how to
do it.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
But they want to bring in a late night scrolling
band so you can't endlessly scroll at night, so it
forces you to put your phone down.

Speaker 4 (42:43):
And go to sleep.

Speaker 3 (42:44):
I think it'd be a good thing.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
Can someone put that ban on me?

Speaker 3 (42:47):
Yeah? I need that ban.

Speaker 1 (42:49):
Yeah, if Christopher Luxen's listening, can you make that an
election policy, ban adults from social media after what time?

Speaker 4 (42:57):
What's our cutoff? Guys eleven?

Speaker 3 (43:00):
It's hard because what about people that do shift work
or you know, like it's not universal. I guess you
have to put in your details.

Speaker 4 (43:10):
Okay, how many hours do we get a day?

Speaker 3 (43:12):
Yeah, like I reckon it's like you don't like you
don't like that movie that's got Justin Timberlake in it.
And the whole world revolves around time, and everyone has
like a clock on their arms. I think the movie
is called about Time and you have to work to
add more time to your arm, and if your time

(43:32):
runs out, you die.

Speaker 1 (43:33):
If you had a clock on your arm that said
how much time you'd spin on social media on your phone, yeah,
people would be way more shameful about it.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
What is a reasonable amount of time to give? And okay,
here's another question. Let's say I mean, let's say it's
three hours. You get three hours a day.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Of phone time, of phone time, and that includes your
Spotify and your work emails.

Speaker 3 (44:00):
No it doesn't. Well, yeah, okay, three hours on social media,
hours on.

Speaker 4 (44:06):
That list of apps that I said before.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
Look at us already trying to cave it. Okay, you
get three hours on that list, some of my times
taken off with Google Maps. Three hours on all of that.
But then, if let's say I only use two hours
one day.

Speaker 4 (44:22):
Does it does it.

Speaker 3 (44:24):
Roll over onto the next day?

Speaker 4 (44:26):
Let's be real.

Speaker 1 (44:28):
If you went back even five years and said to yourself,
you can have three hours of social media apps on
your phone to day, you'd go, what am I an edict?
It's way too much, and now I'm like, God, I'd
love to cut down to three hours.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
It's a good goal. Actually we laugh because the girls we'd.

Speaker 2 (44:47):
Cry TDMS, Bree and Clinic podcast.

Speaker 3 (44:50):
I came across this story where this woman has talked
about this date she went on, and it's a disaster.
It's an absolute disaster where you think you're texting one
person and you're actually not texting them. Do you want
to hear what went down? So essentially she has said,

(45:11):
she said, I'm a twenty two year old woman and
I went on a date with a guy who was
also twenty two that I met on Hinge. The date
was amazing. He was super attractive and we had great chemistry.
At the end of the night, he dropped me home
and we kissed. A bit. Later on, we were texting,
and that's when things got weird. He sent me a

(45:35):
picture of myself and I was confused. Then these are
the texts that followed the picture. Mind Dewey sounded like
a completely different person. This is what said eleven out
of ten bro soft skin, big boob smells good. She's

(45:57):
got that mummy aura for real. Lmfao. I honestly thought
I was gonna when we kissed.

Speaker 1 (46:08):
Yeah, so obviously he has text her what he meant
to text one of duboys.

Speaker 3 (46:16):
Yep ah. She wrote back, excuse me, ah, No, he
texts back no, y D y M. What do you mean?
So he still hasn't figured it out? And then she
didn't reply, and then straight after all caps, Holy, I
can explain this. It's not what you think it is.

(46:40):
There's no explaining it. You're a creep and you don't
deserve a second date. He did call her an eleven
out of ten. So I don't want to go out
on a second date with someone that talks about me
like that to his bros.

Speaker 4 (46:54):
I'm looking at Claudiac.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
Claudiac, I mean, it's not would you like to be
spoken about that way? I understand, I understand it's not
one hundred percent respectful. No, it's not, and that you
shouldn't reduce women to balance size and should softness of skin, but.

Speaker 3 (47:09):
If you have to reduce them to something.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
But clearly he clearly likes her.

Speaker 3 (47:14):
There was no there was no comment about her personality
or if she was nice.

Speaker 4 (47:19):
It was he said that she had mommy energy.

Speaker 6 (47:23):
No.

Speaker 11 (47:23):
See, that's the thing that's so yeah, Yeah, that's yuck
like that. I just think if you're already speaking to
the boys like that, like Laddie.

Speaker 3 (47:35):
It's not the it's not the reason I want to
go on a second date with.

Speaker 8 (47:38):
Yeah, that's like you know how he talks about girls
to his friends.

Speaker 4 (47:41):
Now, Yeah, yeah, yeah, I understand. I understand.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
Hey, excuse me, don't turn this around on me.

Speaker 4 (47:47):
I was just that aying.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
I was just saying, it's not the worst things he
could have been texting.

Speaker 4 (47:52):
He could have been.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
Saying, why what do you text to your mates? No?

Speaker 1 (47:55):
No, he could have been like Stage five Clinger definitely
not going to see her again?

Speaker 4 (48:01):
Was she was? I mean you'd rather that?

Speaker 3 (48:06):
Yeah, I mean both. I'm not going on a second
day with Yeah. Yeah yeah, Clint. Clint's getting he cracked
us sad now because we're not with.

Speaker 11 (48:17):
You.

Speaker 3 (48:17):
Guys can have your opinion and we can have ours.
That that's what makes the world go round.

Speaker 1 (48:21):
It's not the way, it's not it's not it's not
the right way to speak.

Speaker 4 (48:25):
No, it's not. But what he said, But what.

Speaker 3 (48:30):
Hip I'm staying out of it.

Speaker 4 (48:33):
Give another chance?

Speaker 3 (48:36):
Would you give him another chance? Ella? Would you give
him another chance?

Speaker 1 (48:40):
Book?

Speaker 3 (48:41):
The next day herself would cry are you freaking eight
hundred dials? And them I was going to actually do?
What when did you think you were texting someone? And
you were actually texting someone else? But we should do
Would you give him another chance?

Speaker 4 (48:55):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (48:55):
Or no? I mean either or text or call for either?
Wait hundred dollars a M or text us on nine
six nine six?

Speaker 4 (49:03):
Yeah? Does he get another date off?

Speaker 3 (49:04):
That is it? Is that the worst thing he could
have said? No, it's not, it's not about Was it
the worst thing he could have ever said? Yeah? If
I think he showed his true true colors, yeah, yeah, okay,
because obviously what he was presenting on the date is
not actually really him.

Speaker 4 (49:23):
Ah okay, right, okay, to see what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (49:26):
And I think he showed his true colors to how
he talks to his friends, and that's why I probably
would be like yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (49:32):
Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah yeah. Are you giving this guy
another chance? As he did shit? And have you accidentally text.

Speaker 4 (49:38):
The wrong thing to the wrong person? If you've got
an embarrassing version of this for.

Speaker 1 (49:42):
Us, I learned something new about you women today.

Speaker 3 (49:46):
It's about bloody time you decided to learn something. Yeah,
I've been showing an interest for a long time.

Speaker 4 (49:51):
It's just just such a closed book.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
You guys never open up.

Speaker 9 (49:55):
Did you learn about periods?

Speaker 3 (49:56):
No, but it's in that region. I knew everything about I.

Speaker 1 (50:01):
Hey, hey, on a serious note, I did very well
in the woman test earlier this year.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
We should we should show him a picture of the
female anatomy and get him to point out what's what.

Speaker 9 (50:11):
No, it's not.

Speaker 3 (50:12):
I think that would be a good one.

Speaker 4 (50:14):
I'm up for it. I'm up for it.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
I'm going to play you this clip that I heard,
and you confirm with me whether this is a real
thing that happens with you women. Okay, that I guarantee
no man has ever heard about before. All right, Okay,
this is a mother speaking with her very young daughter
and something has happened to the young daughter.

Speaker 4 (50:33):
Have a listen, sweet what did you say? Sometimes I
from my butt and then goes.

Speaker 3 (50:38):
To a bit like it rolls to the front.

Speaker 9 (50:41):
Yeah, yeah, that happens to.

Speaker 3 (50:45):
That's so funny.

Speaker 1 (50:51):
Can you can you confirm for me that sometimes when
you guys fart, it travels from the back bum forward
to the front.

Speaker 9 (51:00):
Look in life, and we're not talking about No, that's.

Speaker 3 (51:05):
That's a different that's a different thing. That is a
completely different situation. Look, when you've let's say you're sitting
on the couch and you've got your legs up on
the ottoman and you've got your legs tight together, tied together,
it can cause a sound tunnel, a seal, a seal.

Speaker 7 (51:25):
Which creates friction where if you are to break wind,
that wind has nowhere to go that way, so it
goes forwards.

Speaker 4 (51:40):
And causes a ripple effect in the in the front part.

Speaker 3 (51:43):
Yeah, look, it caused a ricochet, ricochets from one area
to the next, and yeah, it comes out that that side.

Speaker 4 (51:55):
So it's truper Brie claudia U s. But I'm sure
I don't.

Speaker 3 (51:59):
I don't fart, Okay, I did that Probably could happen.
That's that's that's confirmation enough. Look, it's I think it's
the Look, this might be t m I. There's sometimes
a situation where this happens and someone will be like, oh,
that sounded like a wet fart.

Speaker 4 (52:16):
Yeah right, yeah, it's not. It's a traveler.

Speaker 3 (52:19):
It's a traveler.

Speaker 1 (52:20):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's gone to the other end, and
that inn makes a different noise to the other end
because the other I imagine it's more basic.

Speaker 3 (52:27):
It is more basic, ye, and there's also a bit
more sound insulation back then totally it comes to the front.
There's nowhere to hide. Yeah, quite similar. Yeah, okay, good, Yeah,
sorry about that sound effect.

Speaker 4 (52:40):
That was me. That was and I fear it was dangerously.

Speaker 3 (52:45):
It was that you. I thought it was me.

Speaker 1 (52:50):
It is a Tuesday, and on Tuesdays we go searching.

Speaker 3 (52:54):
For a name.

Speaker 1 (52:59):
Hardest goddamn show game in radio, so hard.

Speaker 3 (53:05):
That we have never won, and we've been playing for
years years. This has been going on.

Speaker 4 (53:11):
Three thousand, six hundred dollars up for grabs. It goes
up in fifty dollars.

Speaker 1 (53:15):
Every week, so that means this is attempt number seventy two.
Holy smokes, but this is going to be the one.
You know what they say, lucky number seventy two.

Speaker 3 (53:25):
Seventy two times charm is the saying. We call it
random buzzes.

Speaker 1 (53:32):
With a random name, and if that name answers, that
person will win three thousand, six hundred dollars. They may
not even listen to the brand Clint Show. No, they
get three thousand, six hundred dollars it.

Speaker 3 (53:43):
Will sound like a scam to them if they don't
listen to us, believe us. But it's not a scam
and we will transfer the money money immediately. Now this
money is getting so big, we should show up with
a novelty check road.

Speaker 4 (53:55):
To keep it random.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
One of our producers chooses the location, the other one
the name. Who's got the location today?

Speaker 2 (54:00):
Me and guys.

Speaker 8 (54:01):
I haven't told you this, but I have framed our
Radio Awards certificate. You're doing a framing place, but I
chose Hawk's Bay because you know New Zealand local, you
know support.

Speaker 1 (54:13):
So you can't be accused of going into the framing shop,
finding out the person's name and then suggesting it for
the game.

Speaker 3 (54:18):
That is illegal. Okay, who works in the local?

Speaker 9 (54:22):
What's it called Hawk's Bay Picture Hanging?

Speaker 1 (54:24):
Hawk's Bay Picture works at hb P h H Claudia HBPH.

Speaker 3 (54:31):
In honor of Tim Payne. Timm, I like it. I
like it. Tim quite a common name. I would say,
I reckon Claudia.

Speaker 1 (54:38):
Please connect the call to hawks Bay Picture Hanging.

Speaker 3 (54:42):
I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Speaker 4 (54:44):
Where if Tims is the phone, he gets three dollars
good luck everybody, good luck, good luck.

Speaker 3 (54:50):
Come on, timmy, come on, come on. Hello Robert speaking.

Speaker 4 (54:55):
Hey Robert, how are you going good? Yes, excelling, very good.

Speaker 1 (55:00):
My name is Clint and this is Bree. We're calling
from ZIDIM Radio station A.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
Robert.

Speaker 4 (55:05):
Hello, Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (55:08):
Purpose of the call. We were looking for Tim. Does
Tim work there?

Speaker 5 (55:12):
No, you must have got the wrong number.

Speaker 3 (55:15):
Bugger, Robert.

Speaker 1 (55:16):
If Tim had answered the phone, Robert, because we play
this silly game, he would have won three thousand, six
hundred dollars today.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
Well, I'm sorry for him.

Speaker 1 (55:25):
But hey, Robert, we've got five A four sized certificates
that we need to get framed, so we might call
you back later and get a quote for that.

Speaker 2 (55:35):
Well, I don't do framing.

Speaker 3 (55:36):
Actually, I don't only do the hanging.

Speaker 4 (55:39):
Oh how does that work? What you come around to
our house and hang the pictures?

Speaker 3 (55:45):
That's right?

Speaker 5 (55:45):
Yeah, yeah, this may sound silly, but you know a
lot of mirrors.

Speaker 3 (55:49):
Or big Yeah, it doesn't sound silly at all. I
feel like I've got a lot of crooked pictures and
mirrors in my house. Robert. Oh, well, if you want them, help, right?
Do you kill the man for the job?

Speaker 4 (56:00):
All right? Thanks Robert. We'll leave you to it. We
appreciate your time.

Speaker 3 (56:02):
Thanks Rob.

Speaker 4 (56:03):
I know where things okay? See how what do you reckon?

Speaker 10 (56:07):
Dutch?

Speaker 3 (56:08):
Maybe Dutch?

Speaker 4 (56:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (56:09):
Norwegiann I had a Dutch field to it to me,
I'm stidfast on Dutch past the Dutch, not Tim though?

Speaker 4 (56:17):
Was it?

Speaker 3 (56:18):
Was it? Tim? Unfortunately? I felt good about it, though
I did feel good about that one oh.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
We go again next week for three thousand, six hundred
and fifty dollars.

Speaker 3 (56:26):
Is this ever gonna end? Shop with hands? Who thinks
it will ever end?

Speaker 4 (56:30):
I wanted to hit one hundred. I want to hit
one hundred.

Speaker 3 (56:32):
Now I feel like I'm losing a little bit of hope,
just a little bit.
