Speaker 4 (03:15):
What where did you come? First, second, third, fourth, fourth, fourth?
Hey yeah, sometimes Jade, And maybe you just didn't want
a hot dog real bad?

Speaker 2 (03:26):
No, no, it was just real hard. Yeah, I like toasted.
There was no butter.

Speaker 9 (03:33):
The Sausha is a saltire.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Blame the tools, Jade, I wouldn't toast a hot dog.

Speaker 7 (03:38):
Buzzing random.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Hey guys, here's the rules. George.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Your buzzer is Trady, Jade, your buzzer is Lady. When
you think you know? Shout out first to three takes
home the win and the fifty bucks cash.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Are we ready to play? Yep, yeah, here we go.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Question number one, what is the capital city of Italy?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Trady? Yes, George, is it Milan? Milan?

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Not a bad guess, but no, Jade, I agree, no, Rome.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Is what we were looking for. No points there. We
move on to question number two.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
What country does the dessert bucklavar originate from?

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Trady? Yes, George, Turkey. Turkey is correct. We also would
have accepted Greece and the Middle East. One to the trades.
We move on to question number three. Buzz in when
you can tell me who sings this song?

Speaker 9 (04:42):
Plenty plenty.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I think it was Trady. Just got in there, George,
Ali Golding.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
It is Ellie Golding from the movie Fifty Shades of Gray.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Well done.

Speaker 7 (04:55):
Two to the trades.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
You need this one, Jade to stay in at question
number four, who are the All Blacks playing tomorrow at
Eden Park?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
George for the win Ireland and that's the Oh, j Shade,
just wasn't your day to day.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
But George, you've come out on top, brother, and you've
taken the trades to a two point lead and the
fifty bucks is yours well done, Thank you.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
No worries at all.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Trades fifty seven ladies fifty five.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
That wraps trading versus Lady out.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
For the weed. It sure does.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
It's been a good week of Trady versus Lady. They
passed through. They were fifty four start of the week, right.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Yeah, and oh not there tradies have got it done.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
See it ms Bree and Clinton Podcast. Kesha She's a
name that we've known for a while. In fact, she
is someone who is a part of Friday GMS most weeks.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
I mean, I love me some Keishersha.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Kesha is someone that you wouldn't expect to go to
Taylor's for swinning.

Speaker 7 (05:52):
But did she?

Speaker 2 (05:53):
She did? She did? You know. One of my first
gigs in radio, I was working at this radio station
in Brisbane and Kesher was coming to the country and.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
People always used to say, like, especially when I was younger,
that her and I looked like each other. I see it,
especially when I was a bit more disheveled as well,
like and so was she, Like you know, it was
still is me and they forced me.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
To dress up like her.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
They hie fake security and then maybe walk down the
main street in Brisbane.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
And it caused like a ruckus.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
There was like people and they thought a lot of
people thought I was her. There was this full crowd
like following us. I was wearing like sunglasses and like
you know, trying to like keep my head down.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
But it was crazy. It was like one of the
first things I did.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
In radio was it, Okay, obviously you weren't You're not her,
but in that experience was it Did you get like
a little bit of like a sleepy life and how
overwhelming it'll be? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
It was at her peak of fame too, so I
was like, well, this is full on. Like there was
people taking photos, There was like people trying to like
grab me.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I was like, this is crazy.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Oh yeah no. Did it put you of wanting to
be a big superstar now?

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Maybe want to be one even more now?

Speaker 3 (07:03):
I'm just kidding, Well, it might make you end up
doing weird things, which I know a lot of people do.
But Kesha, she's come out with a real rogue one.
It was on a podcast called La culture Ristas.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
The Cultureista is such a good podcast I've never listened to.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
You actually introduced me to this podcast.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
You need to go listen to it. Yeah, yeah, And
it's a couple of guys from S ANDL.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Bowen he is the best cast member one of on
SNL and so always a standout and he's one of
the whost fame of a guy called Matt Rogers. But
we had a revelation from Kesher and do you know
that I collect ted you do?

Speaker 5 (07:39):
Well?

Speaker 8 (07:39):
The teeth started when I became obsessed with my fans
and then someone was like, my child lost their teeth,
and I was like, can I have them? Because I
want to make torry out of it? And so then
I meet a necklace and an earring, and then a
belt and.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Then a crown.

Speaker 8 (07:59):
Yeah, oh the crown's wild. And then I just started
collecting them because it kind of freaks out street man.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Not just straight man, sweetheart, What the hell she's collecting teeth? Like,
I mean, I mean, I mean and the words of Kesher,
we are who we.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Are nice reference George Solid solid from you.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
I'm all for like collecting a cool shark's tooth. You
know people have those on their necklace.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Yeah, they weren't on a human that you might know,
or someone's nana or something.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yeah, weird human teeth freaked me out at the best.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
And now that you're saying teeth, they can't start looking
at your teeth.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
One ones, you want to.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Move away from the mic just a little bit. I
think I want your metal.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Lift me lifts. I've got solid canines on me.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
I have a the real wide span, like a good
good bit of distance.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
And sharp, like a good colony.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Have you had races?

Speaker 7 (08:56):
Never, Oh, you'll want of those.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
You know why?

Speaker 4 (08:59):
The dentist said to me, because my teeth are straight,
quite straight for not having braces. And he goes, it's
because you've got a huge mouth. And you said, because
you've got enough room full of your teeth. You've got
a huge white mouth. And I was like, great, I'll
take it and do a lot with them. I'm collecting teeth.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
That's weird.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
That is weird. It's not those people that collect their
nail clippings and put them.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
In a jar. That's that one's even more disgusting.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
That's disgusting because nail clippings, like when your nails get.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Long, like mine out the gate right now.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Think about a whole jar of nail clipings that many
because they go yellow. Okay, that's I'm just saying, if
we someone right now and be like, ah, that's me.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
You reckon.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
There's someone listening that collects their nail clippings one hundred.
I wanted to ask people this afternoon, what is the
weird collection? Like Kesha is collecting human teeth? What is
the weird collection? And it might not be as weird
as Kesh's, or it might be, but I.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Want to know, is it yours? Is it someone you know?

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Maybe it's someone you dated, Maybe you found out that's
some guy that you dated was collecting I don't know
doll hair.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Oh no, there's a complex there, you know, Na, what.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Is the weird collection? We would love to hear from
you this afternoon. Oh, eight hundred dials at M or
you can text us on nine six nine six. Look,
we might judge you, but it's a part.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Of the fund.

Speaker 7 (10:21):
I have to be honest. I probably am okay and.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
A nice way though, always a nice oneways, a nice,
nice judgment island.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
A few people have text through and said, my mom
still has me and my siblings baby teeth. We are
now twenty five, twenty eight and thirty.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
I kind of get there because it was maybe the
first tooth you lost.

Speaker 7 (10:39):
It's like I've got my hair from.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
The first haircut I had, m like that long ponytail. Yeah,
so I can understand those ones, but it's your own.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
It's they must have had cavities in them. They must
have had cavities those teeth, because the tooth fairy doesn't
take teeth with cavities.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Oh, that's common knowledge. I wasn't.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
I didn't tell it there.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
So we're asking people this afternoon, what is the weird collection.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Let's talk to Emily. Hello, Hello, Happy Friday, Happy Friday.
What is the Is it the weird collection you have? Emily?

Speaker 10 (11:11):
Yes, But in saying that, you said about like baby
teeth and stuff, My mum has my sister's vromits like
taped into her baby book.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Sure, so for people that don't know, I had grommets.
So you did these little plastic things inserted into your
ear canal to like widen your ear canal and then eventually,
like as you grow, they come out of your ears.
And you said, Emily, your mum has taped them into
a book.

Speaker 10 (11:37):
Yeah, so we have baby books from age of one,
like born to five, and yeah, who's is my sister's
taped into it.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
That is so yuck.

Speaker 10 (11:46):
But yeah, that wasn't then they're just you know, on
the topic of that. But so I have very blonde here, okay,
but I have two very coarse set heres that grow
out of two different like moles in.

Speaker 7 (11:59):
My face same s.

Speaker 10 (12:03):
It's like a black horse and it's just one here
and I plucked them and I kind of unintentionally started
putting them all in.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
This jar in the bathroom. I was like, like, it's
just kind of like, oh the jar is this.

Speaker 10 (12:19):
I just kind of plucked them out and I put
them in there because the Tweezers.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Go Emily, Emily where they are now.

Speaker 7 (12:26):
I also there's Emma gwal that.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Has a couple of course little strays just straight down
the drain and I'm not collecting them.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
I put them in the darker.

Speaker 10 (12:36):
Now the Tweezers going, I think.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
It's just like a Emily, You're weird and I love that.
And how many have we got?

Speaker 10 (12:43):
Oh maybe like once I've read two weeks and I've
been in my house that two years.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
You beautiful weirdo. Emily that if we don't have Caller
of the Week, but Emily would have got it. Yeah,
we appreciate you. Yeah, she's just fine about Like, well
there we go, got their approval.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Let's talk to Lucy and Sarah. Good afternoon Friday. Hello, Hello, Hi.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Do you guys both have a weird collection.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Together?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
It was as a whole joke. Okay, and what do
you collect? I can't eyelashes pulling them out? Are you no?

Speaker 10 (13:27):
Like I want to fall out? It was like Colick,
like you did it as a joke, inside joke, and
then we just kept doing it.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Yeah, how many you have going on?

Speaker 5 (13:36):
For like two years?

Speaker 9 (13:38):
Now?

Speaker 2 (13:39):
How many do you have your reckon?

Speaker 5 (13:41):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Maybe like about eight?

Speaker 2 (13:43):
No, you do not.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
You guys could sell these to like an eyelash extension
place if you.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Yeah, we want to talking about that.

Speaker 10 (13:54):
Like do falsies like as like a psidekick?

Speaker 8 (13:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (14:00):
You guys like besties like joins at the hip.

Speaker 10 (14:03):
Yeah, we're like we've been best friend since like we
were in kindergarten.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
I can tell you almost like I don't know sentences yet.
That's so buzzy, girls, Thanks for calling.

Speaker 7 (14:15):
I've got a real eck about people's here.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Oh really, eyelashes, don't freak me out or you don't
see clints that gather up on the disc in front
of you beard hair. I'm not a fan of, but
an eyelash is such a cute one. Like you know,
you'll blow an eyelash off someone's face, and it's like
a thing.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Where you make a wish.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
You're like, what if they got junk dividis and stuff
and they've got the eye?

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Wait? What did you call? Wait? What what did you
call junk junk dividis? Are you talking about conjunct dividers.
That's a whole other thing that we can't get into
right now. What you just pronounce conjunct dividers as wow?
Someone someone ticks through and they said, my daughter collects

(14:58):
cat claws and whiskers. She gets so excited when she
finds one on the count.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
That's a good way to actually, like instead of hoovering
them up.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Yeah, cat claws. Do cat's claws fall out that often?
Do they?

Speaker 4 (15:10):
I collected I collected my dog's baby teeth when they
fell out.

Speaker 7 (15:14):
Okay, kesha.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Someone else said, I collect rocks, like lots and lots
of rocks, Like I have a whole lot of rocks
on every window sill in my house. That's an interesting.
I mean a lot of people collect rocks, don't they.

Speaker 7 (15:28):
Yeah, but we've had one. I told you we were
going to have one.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Is it?

Speaker 7 (15:32):
Someone sticks and six? Non sex.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
My partner's step dad has a margarine container for his
tone al clothes.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
That's divorce, like year's worth divorce.

Speaker 7 (15:41):
I hope that no one ever tips the bad boy over.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Nasty. Right now, Georgia Producers, I've got a situation I
want to put to you and the people listening, because
this is going viral on the internet at the moment
where people are weighing in on this situation. So here's
what's happened.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
A husband has been at a work event where they
were giving out prizes. You could win stuff, you know,
one of those fun work events where it brings people
together a little.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Raffle or like a trust circle. Yeah, trustful.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
Anyway, the prize was pretty bloody good. Essentially, the husband
has won a luxury YSL skincare and makeup gift basket,
very fancy.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Oh my.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
Luxury brand for one of those.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
Anyway, at this event, he decided that he didn't want
it and he gave it to the female co workers
sitting next to him.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Anyway, anyway, anyway, hear me out. Hear me out.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
So then this has been posted on social media and
the wife of the husband has caught wind of the
situation and has gotten upset because she was at home
looking after their kids, and she thought that it was
a little bit unthoughtful of him, a little bit that

(17:14):
he wouldn't take home the gift basket for her.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Yeah, and he's just parted.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
He goes, I don't want this, palmed it off to
the female coworker sitting next to him.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Look not to be Switzerland.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
I can see both sides, he honestly, hear me out.
I hear obviously pretty dog move not to think about
his wife to take it home. He's one of fear
and square. He doesn't have to give it to the
female coworker. But obviously in the moment, maybe we don't know,
maybe she was like, oh I really wanted that, and

(17:48):
maybe she was like, oh, I really I feel disappointed
I've missed out on that, and he was trying to
do something nice for her.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
I don't care.

Speaker 9 (17:55):
He's got a life at home looking after the kids.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Thinking, Bruce, Switzerland Tec.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Didn't even win, so therefore, grime your ren you're too bad.

Speaker 9 (18:05):
Take one thing.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
If he's going to be nice, it's a it's a
you said, it's like a nice box of things. A.

Speaker 7 (18:11):
So give her one thing and then go.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
The rest is for my lastly wife, who's at home
doing the most raising our kids, and she deserves a
nice treat. Do you know what?

Speaker 7 (18:22):
That would have still sparked a little bit of concern.
She would have been like with the wrist of it go, I.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Would have been fine with that.

Speaker 11 (18:30):
But it's.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
I hope that he's learnt his lesson and then he
gets her a nice bag. I don't think he's understood
what's been done wrong is the worst thing.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
If you don't get it, where'd you go wrong?

Speaker 2 (18:47):
You know he should get this, he should go works differently,
but this is a good lesson. This is a good.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Lesson for people listening. Always call all your partner at
home and say, hey, do you want that? It's so
funny we talk about this because one of my exes
she got like a free pack of chocolates and one
of them was like my favorite Easter chocolate. You can
only get it around Easter. Yeah, she's not got much
of a sweet tooth. So I was like, obviously it's
going to be mine, and I'm so excited, and then

(19:17):
she gave her to her sister, and I really remember
I was like, I felt like such a brat for
being that upset about it.

Speaker 9 (19:24):
And that was such a non like not expensive, not even.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
That much big of a deal piece of chocolate. Whatever.
It's the principle.

Speaker 9 (19:30):
Yeah, so the.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
Big gift basket that's worth a lot of money that
you probably would never buy it for yourself.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
It's an easy win for the husband.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
When you take it home, you're like, honey, look what
I want you?

Speaker 2 (19:42):
I thought of you.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Had a feeling, had a feeling this was going to
come through on the text, had a feeling nine six
nine six From multiple people. We've been asked, is he
doing some indoor gardening with that coworker?

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Oh, that's a whole on the kit.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
You're opening up another door here.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
I'm assuming that's not the case.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
I mean, I read flag let's let's let's think the best,
and he's just a bit of an unthoughtful d bag.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Or as someone else says it, the wife is beautiful
skin and she doesn't need it.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Yeah, maybe she's got her particular brands and he knew
that she would never use a Y product.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Now I'm angry. Guys, we all know who role Model is.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Shack.

Speaker 7 (20:28):
He's calling himself Shack at the.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Moment role Model.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
You might recall him from this song. So he played
Laneway Festival this year in Auckland, killed it. He's got
new music out.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
The song I'm talking about is this new one from
role Model called Joy'd You Come a Little Closer?

Speaker 2 (21:02):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
I love the song because it's given a lower at a.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Country first time I heard it. First time I heard.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
It, and I agree with you, Georgia, I went god,
I love it instantly. I love it instantly because I
feel like it sounds like a song I've heard before.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
And here's the thing. I look, I'll be honest.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Normally with this radio stuff, I'll be like, it sounds
like this song. I haven't been able to figure it out,
but I was so sure that it sounded like an
older song that I googled whether he'd sampled a song
into that song.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Has he? He hasn't, And no one's broken it down
on tech talk to try and figure this out.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
Not that I can see. But am I crazy? Or
does this song sound like an older song.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Yeah, I come a little closer.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
Na, Oh my gosh, my benefit and my benefit alone.
We're going to put it to the people right now
to figure this out.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Producer, Ella, do you think.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
You know what's the song at pubs? And you go, yeah,
that one.

Speaker 7 (22:19):
That's not what I thought.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
No, that's not the one. I was thinking.

Speaker 9 (22:22):
Oh, this is going to ruin us. Oh my god,
we have to find out.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
I think I know what what is it?

Speaker 2 (22:26):
What do you think it is?

Speaker 7 (22:28):
Is it belly idyl? What would be is it belly idol?

Speaker 2 (22:32):
It could be someone on the text machine saying it's
billy idol? Oh what song?

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Saying look it up? Is it actually a sample of
a billy idol song?

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Which one not? Oh, we're going to do because I mean,
this is all glory Days, That's what it is.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Glory Days, Glory Days, Glory Daysesday, Brucie boy, Oh, Bruce.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
The relief my brain feels right now because for days
I've been trying to figure it out.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
Yes, produce, and you play both of them now, like
I want to hear them side by side, okay, oh
at the same time or what you what ever works?

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Yeah, should come a little closer.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Okay, you.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Know what, I should do it at my time out
in the same time.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
Other people. Other people are suggesting other songs. Now, someone
said Hot in the City, Hot in.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
The Cne that would work in as well.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
Hey, producer, Claude, I know you're the best in the
biz when it comes to, you know.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
Being on the Wicked remix. Should we go to a.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
Song and just so we're sure that we've got it right,
we'll go.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
To a song.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
Claude will get role Model and then she'll get Glory Days,
and we'll see if we can throw them together.

Speaker 7 (24:12):
Do we want to see if it's this though.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
It's not as good, I'm not not that, but it's not.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
It's not that the ZM podcast networks.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
The people have said that they believe the song that
I was thinking of was Glory Days.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
You know, Bruce Springsteen, Brucey ball billi Ida was thrown
in the next a few times but didn't quite hit
the money. I don't reckon no.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
John Mellencamp got to love me some John Mellencamp.

Speaker 7 (24:45):
But Claudia, it sounds from Brisday. I don't think I've
ever heard.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
She's a maestro. I never heard you made that.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
You're a maestro on the old DJ critter, I've at
least made it so you can compare the toad to
see if you think they sound similar. So what Claudia
has done in the break, she's taken both and you've
put them kind of together.

Speaker 9 (25:06):
I've done so by side, okay.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
To see how similar the two songs are. So let's
take a listen.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
Yeah, yeah, come a little close.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
It's spot of.

Speaker 11 (25:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
There's no question, there's not even an ounce of doubts
that that's not Bruce Springsteen's Glory Days.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
It's the same. It is the same.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
But I've googled and it says that he hasn't sampled
because obviously in me the bloody woman explaining music to people,
not that I know, but when people when someone can
sample a song, they'll take a bit from an older
song and they'll use it in their song and they
have to pay for it from the older art.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
It happens quite a lot.

Speaker 4 (26:01):
And I thought that role model had done that, But
everything that I've looked at on the internet, it says
he hasn't.

Speaker 7 (26:08):
Now this is obviously.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
If he hasn't, and it sounds similar, it could be
another Hug Barnasa Flower, Miley Cyrus and Bruno Mars situation,
and then it could end up in a whole different
kittle of fish.

Speaker 7 (26:21):
So we got to hope that he hasn't.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Reckon Springsteen Kars.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
He's probably like, oh yeah, Bruno Mars, he's got a complex.

Speaker 7 (26:30):
I mean, he's got some things he's got to sort out.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
That's probably.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
Can I just say thank you to everyone listening and
to the producers and to you Georgia, because that has
been like just paining my brain the last week, being like,
I'm sure that this song sounds like it and it does.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Who did you go THROUGHU in your mind the last
couple of days, anyone at all came to mind.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
My brain couldn't do it when I was because it
was every time that I'd hear the role Model song
and I just couldn't figure it out. But my brain
was going wanting to sing the lyrics to Glory Days,
but I didn't know it was that case.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Close. Thank you everyone, It's.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
Z it MS Brill and Clint Podcast.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Let's play the one second song challenge. There's a stop
the Moon, What the Hell three and Clint one second

the game. Clint's away. He's back on Monday from school holidays.
But Georgia, it is your turn to give it a crack.

Speaker 3 (27:28):

them today with you know, like this week with Let's
get classical, it's not I reckon.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
This is your game, producer, claud You were in the booth,
you were running the show, and I wasn't here when
you played that other game, so I haven't actually seen
you work.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
She just went full deer in the headlights.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
I just I think I was like, yeah, I don't
know what's technique.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
Maybe this is the game for you because you have
someone as a teammate, right, do you want to know.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Who's working with you today?

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Okay, so, welcome to Georgia's team. You've got Maddie. Hello, Maddie,
I'm Maddie.

Speaker 2 (28:05):

Speaker 3 (28:09):
Come on, Georgia, Okay, I'm locked in.

Speaker 7 (28:12):
We got this girl, Let's do it.

Speaker 2 (28:13):

Speaker 4 (28:15):

first time caller? Yes? Oh mate, we're so glad you
finally called through.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
So cool the energy today, Friday Vibe. Yeah, let's get
it right into the game. So this is the one
second song Challenge. The way it works is, I'm going
to start a song right from the beginning. Working in teams,
you need a buzzing with your name and unneeded artist
and the name of the song. Okay, Brie and Georgia,
you're going to show us how it's done, show us
how it works. In the first team to three points,

(29:08):
it is going to take home to win. Are you
ready ready loose theme today? Since it's a bunch of
ladies working together, these are girl bands. Okay, I think
you'll be great at this. George, back yourself, Okay, buzzing
with your name. Here is your first song, Georgia Harmony
work from home.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
You feel that it's my sledgehammer in your back.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
I weirdly knew it was going to be this song
to kick us off.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
You know the next one is going to be one
of my all time faves.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
That means Sam and Maddie, are you guys ready buzzing.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
With your name? If you know it? Here is your
song that was so quick?

Speaker 3 (30:00):
I'm pretty sure it's Spice Girls.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
What's it called?

Speaker 3 (30:04):
Mm hmmm, it's.

Speaker 9 (30:06):
The one you're thinking want.

Speaker 11 (30:09):
My girl.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Lastever.

Speaker 9 (30:14):
You just got to trust your gut in this game.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
And Maddie, you killed it on that. Okay, that is.

Speaker 4 (30:20):
One point per team at the moment. So Brie and
Georgia back to.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
You, Georgia, Georgia, I know who the band is.

Speaker 9 (30:32):
Have you done that thing with your buzzing where you
don't actually know what it is?

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Said?

Speaker 3 (30:37):
Butterfly, Lady Marmalade?

Speaker 2 (30:44):
Can I have it?

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Maybe?

Speaker 9 (30:47):
Do you want to guess?

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Bree?

Speaker 9 (30:48):
I'll keep going all the way.

Speaker 12 (30:50):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (30:50):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (30:50):
Little mixed Wings?

Speaker 9 (30:56):
I pulled that.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
From the hips. Where did they come from? My their rebellum?
It's okay, George, you're not out yet.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
I'm letting man.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
He's going to carry the team to me, but not
Sam has anything to do with it.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
You've got this one, Mat. It's not a bad gise.

Speaker 4 (31:14):
Okay, Maddie and Sam. This could be for the wind.
So yeah, Maddie, you really need this one. Here is
your son.

Speaker 11 (31:23):

Speaker 2 (31:57):
You're a second.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
Maddie.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
I'm going to think of the name.

Speaker 9 (32:03):
I'll buzz and I'll start the song again.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
We're all back in Georgia, Maddie.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Georgia said, it.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
Is on you girl.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
You got this and don't check them. Sure God films
like me. We knew that, didn't We said? We just
wanted to take into a tie break.

Speaker 9 (32:26):
Yeah, that's the fun of the game.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Okay, Yeah, we are at tiebreak, so everyone is in
on this. Whoever's name I hear first is going to
try to get the points.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
Are we ready? Everyone? All right, Sam, let's go, You
and me good luck. Here's your last song, great.

Speaker 9 (32:42):
Bree what have you.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Got it is Destiny's Child?

Speaker 4 (32:48):
And if you had to guess the name of the song,
what would you say if you had to be really
quick about it?

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Three delicious guys.

Speaker 9 (33:00):
She's done it.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
That was a gift.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
She gave me more time than I deserve. Hey, Maddie,
don't go away. We're gonna find you a prize as well.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Okay, you carried the team, Maddie.

Speaker 10 (33:16):

having a moment again. Camp Rock three is on the
horizon in it. Yeah, they're in it. They come back
as the band that was formed in Camp Rock.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Demi Levado is she in it that I have.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
Not spotted from the trailer? Rumor has it she's in it,
but no sighting of her actually in the trailer so far.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
Okay, so that kind of elludes that she's not. Yeah,
maybe a small part.

Speaker 7 (34:00):
Maybe it's small.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
She might be like a surprise feature that will find
out from the premiere.

Speaker 7 (34:04):
That's the kind of vibe I'm getting.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
Okay, But the Joe bos have been such a big
part of our lives, you know, like we had throwback
songs that we love for Friday jams, like this conversations,
which famously is one of your faves.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
I love this one from the Joe Bros.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
They've had a bit.

Speaker 7 (34:23):
Of you know, a bit of a moment where they
went away for a while.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Then they came back with the likes of soccer Now, sucker.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
I'm sure.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
It's like they never left. And in that time, some
of the guys got married, some of them had kids.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Who's your favorite Joe Bro?

Speaker 7 (34:40):
Always Joe who was yours?

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Really he's well now he's not. He's not it now?
He never was for me?

Speaker 11 (34:49):
Have you?

Speaker 2 (34:50):
And Nick? I was always a Nick? What Nick was?
My guys?

Speaker 3 (34:55):
Kevin gonna be anyone's ever?

Speaker 4 (34:58):
I love producer Claw is keeping you Now that I'm
grown and my frontal lob has developed, Kevin's always been
the one.

Speaker 2 (35:05):
I wouldn't say, no amazing.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
You literally say that now when they're older.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
Yeah, look at him.

Speaker 9 (35:11):
At the time, he was not amazing.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:14):
I just love all of Nick solo stuff. Same jealous levels, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Levels, red dress. That's good.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Well, obviously, Claude, you are a resident Joe Bros. Fans,
so I'm surprised you didn't bring this one to the table.
But we know the relationship. Just shade a claud not
talk about Jonah's brothers. Claude says she's a fan, not
a true fan.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Anyway, got us down today.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
I feel like you're doing this through a lot. It's
visually my show.

Speaker 7 (35:43):
When it comes to five singers.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
Of something, I'm used to it.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
So we know that Nick Jonas has been with Pranka Chopra,
the actress, for a long time.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Yeah, they're married.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
They're married. They had the most Beautiful Indian winning the
most Beautiful Traditional. It was amazing and the boys went
over for it. She has jumped on at their podcast
that they have just launched over the last couple of weeks,
and they've revealed their first even messages that they.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Sent to each other.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Oh and I think it's quite funny that Joe and
Kevin took it upon themselves to reenact those messages.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
I'm invested. What did Nick Well, I bet it was
Nick that slid into her DMS Am I right? Here
we go. I sent you a direct message and we
have it right here. Kevin and Ergan A dramatic read this. Hello.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
I've heard from a few people though we should we
should meet WHOA?

Speaker 2 (36:32):
I have to agree with these people.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
WHOA?

Speaker 2 (36:37):
Are you in La anytime soon? It's a sensible message.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Oh, Graham's told me so much about you. Let's text
oh more private. Oh my team can access this.

Speaker 7 (36:54):
I hate that. If that was me, I would be
so mortified.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Oh so I was literally flirty from the the get
go and they'd never met in person.

Speaker 7 (37:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
Interesting, So he just slid into her DMS out of nowhere.

Speaker 7 (37:09):
And let's make this more private text me.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
So that to me is also interesting. So were they
texting on like Instagram?

Speaker 7 (37:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (37:16):
I su I picked up dms, Instagram dms from that.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
So from what I've got from that is Nick. There's
people that are in Nick's DMS who run his account.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Who could see those messages, and he doesn't want them to.

Speaker 4 (37:31):
I when you were talking about this, it made me
think of what mine and my fiance's first messages were
to each other.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
And it wasn't good guys.

Speaker 7 (37:42):
Who made the first message me.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
Okay, it was me, I actually write about this in
my book. You can get it right now from any
discount bargain store, unapologetically me and I write about it
because it was so bad and she will never ever
let me live it down. I'm surprised that I even
actually got a date. To be honest, my first message

(38:07):
to my fiance Saphia was.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
Hey, do you like maths?

Speaker 3 (38:13):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (38:13):
No, I stand by it. I stand by Look. I
know it's not great, but I stand by the question
because we met on the dating app. But I stand
by the question because I mean, it stands out. One
stands out. No one likes man for being bad bad

(38:35):
first opening.

Speaker 4 (38:36):
Line, and I learn a lot about that person from
that question.

Speaker 7 (38:41):
Well, what was your response from Saphire?

Speaker 4 (38:43):
I think she was like, it's okay, why I feel.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Like you know why hear me out? Hear me out.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
I would love to dramatic read hear me out. I
don't like maths, and I believe as and I would say,
I'm not a.

Speaker 4 (39:04):
Intellectual. I'm more a creative and I know that about myself.
And look, maybe I'm generalizing here, but I feel like
I connect more with creatives. And so it told me
straight away like you know what her vibe was.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
Yeah, that's pretty good from you, to be fair, and
also it gave you the opportunity to go. She kind
of digs a bit of Cringela Brion Clinn.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
It is time for your first Friday Oki.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
Ladies and gentlemen, Clynn friay Day.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Welcome to the battle ring. How are you feelingless? You're
gonna do great. You're gonna do fantastic.

Speaker 7 (39:53):
Do you know what though karaoke.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
You would you.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
Call yourself a singer and the shower and.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
In the and like really good when I'm sad, Okay,
that's all you need. But I'm sad, you get the
best emotions out of me.

Speaker 4 (40:07):
If you've never heard Friday Oki, both of us have
spent fifteen minutes with a professional audio engineer Sam doing
the same song, not all the not the whole song,
thank God, just a part of the song. You'll hear
both of our versions, and then you'll have to vote
on who had the best pitit ball this week, because Georgie,
you've chosen which song.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
On the floor.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
J Lo and pit.

Speaker 11 (40:30):
Bull, partly because pet Bull broke a record this week, yes,
world record, most bull caps.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
In one area was that the record that he broke? Yeah,
bull Caps, not just ball people. Yeah, bull Caps.

Speaker 4 (40:49):
And this song's trending again because of the show off campus,
So it's back back in our zeitgeis. Look, you chose
the song, and normally the person who chooses goes first.
But I will be the polite one and I will
go first this week because you.

Speaker 2 (41:07):

Speaker 3 (54:01):
Good contend it also forgotten Backstreet Boys song you reckon
that forgotten? No, no, no, not like fully forgotten. But

what is that song? And then you hear the song
and you immediately go, oh my god, every ounce of
my nostalgia's come back.

Speaker 4 (54:17):
Really yeah, I feel like it's one of the most
popular Backstreet Boys songs.

Speaker 2 (54:22):
In my brain.

Speaker 3 (54:23):
Can I tell you something about when I was younger? Yeah,
So we did a talent quist when I was five
at school, and you could get a lollipop if you
got up there to go and do this talent quist.

Speaker 7 (54:35):
And my brother had been.

Speaker 3 (54:36):
Practicing Backstreet Backstreets Back, you know, like the most iconic
Backstreet Boy song, and he'd been in the garage doing
it for weeks because he's actually like a not bad singer.

Speaker 7 (54:46):
And then I knew you could get a lollipop.

Speaker 3 (54:48):
And I knew he'd been rehearsing this song, but I
didn't want to do it myself, so I went up
in front of the whole school and I said, Backstreets Back?

Speaker 7 (54:56):
Oh, yeah, can I have a lollipop?

Speaker 3 (54:58):
Now?

Speaker 2 (54:58):
Isn't it all right?

Speaker 5 (55:00):
Right?

Speaker 3 (55:00):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (55:04):
You still got a still.

Speaker 7 (55:06):
Got LOLLI But it was one of those do you know?

Speaker 3 (55:07):
The worst part wasn't you know the classic Backstreet Boys line,
Backstreets Back? Oh?

Speaker 4 (55:14):
Yeah, you know, the classic you know, the most iconic line,
the Backstreet till they say, oh yeah, yeah, you're not
doubling down on today.

Speaker 3 (55:28):
I've just what's happened to me?

Speaker 2 (55:29):
You're not?

Speaker 7 (55:30):
I don't even know how to find the song. The
song doesn't exist anymore. I don't even know how to
give it.

Speaker 4 (55:34):
The song exists, producer Claude will find it if you
want to do this right now?

Speaker 2 (55:39):
Do you think of weg Street's bag?

Speaker 3 (55:41):
Oh yeah, no, doesn't. I don't know if it sounds
right anymore. Well, when I was younger, I got lollipop anyway,
and it was the lollipop.

Speaker 7 (55:48):
It wasn't even like a chump chap.

Speaker 3 (55:49):
It was one of those ones that plays sick and
it's like flat, and I had the little face on it,
you know, the one.

Speaker 2 (55:56):
I love those lollipops. Have we found it?

Speaker 3 (55:59):
Claude Beck Street back?

Speaker 2 (56:00):
Are you sure you want to go down this backstreet?

Speaker 8 (56:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (56:03):
I want to go down any back street.

Speaker 2 (56:04):
This is a dirt road down.

Speaker 3 (56:06):
I'll go down any back street, a.

Speaker 2 (56:08):
Lot of corners. Are you sure?

Speaker 3 (56:10):
I forgot? It's called everybody I tipped in back streets?

Speaker 2 (56:13):
So what do you think the line was?

Speaker 3 (56:15):
Back streets back? Oh?

Speaker 2 (56:17):
Yeah, oh yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 12 (56:18):
If I'm committed now there's time to pull out.

Speaker 2 (56:32):
You've committed, you're right?

Speaker 3 (56:39):
Oh yeah, that was all? Yeah, you could hear it.
You can hear it if you bother. If you put
your ear clean to the speaking, you would have.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
Heard, Oh yeah, you can't. You can't fault her commitment,
you know, And we're going to move swiftly along. You're
going to die in some hell. I've got yeah, I've
got your back.

Speaker 1 (56:58):
Ms.

Speaker 2 (56:58):
Brilling Clint Podcast, Georgia.

Speaker 4 (57:00):
I came across this interesting story and we need to
talk about it. It's from two thousand and nine.

Speaker 2 (57:06):
I will preface it with that, but I say we
bring this back because there's a story. There's something that
happened back in two thousand and nine, and I wish
I was there. Do you guys know the auctions that
you can go to.

Speaker 4 (57:20):
It's a charity auction where people will put up something
and then people bid on it, and that money goes
towards a certain.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
Charity, like when a date with so and so kind
of yea, or like a company.

Speaker 4 (57:31):
Puts forward like you know, a Sunset cruise for two
and people vote, people bid on that and then the
money goes towards the charity. Well, there was one of those,
a charity auction that happened back in two thousand and nine,
and it was to raise money for the Schalise thor
African Outreach Program, which essentially was their whole goal was

(57:57):
trying to bring soccer pitches and clean water to children
in South Africa by twenty ten.

Speaker 2 (58:03):
It was a great organization, great goal. So they had
this big event and there was quite a few celebrities
there and they were all all the celebrities brought something
to the auction and then they auctioned each thing off
that the celebrity had brought to the table.

Speaker 3 (58:18):
So was it as Charlie's Thorn like, was that her
charity that she was leading?

Speaker 2 (58:23):
Yeah, so it was her charity.

Speaker 4 (58:24):
And I believe Matt Damon was actually meant to host
the event, but he pulled out last minute, so Chalise
Thu ended up hosting the whole thing, right, And so
each celebrity would get up and they would say, you know,
this is what I've got on offer, and then people
would start bidding, right, And Chalise is one of the

(58:45):
ones that also put forward something for people to bid on.

Speaker 2 (58:49):
The thing that she put forward was quite a good price.
Do you want to hear what she was offering?

Speaker 3 (58:55):
Yeah, go for it.

Speaker 2 (58:56):
So it was a trip to South Africa to.

Speaker 4 (58:58):
Watch a game at the World Cup in twenty ten
and you got to have a meet and greet with
Nelson Mandela.

Speaker 2 (59:08):
What an incredible prize. That's amazing.

Speaker 7 (59:11):
And we're talking what two thousand and nine?

Speaker 4 (59:13):
Ah yeah, so two thousand and nine. So here's what
happened according to reports. So apparently people started bidding and
they were like four grand, five grand, what a bargain.
And then eventually it got up to thirty seven thousand,
which I mean is a steal.

Speaker 2 (59:28):
If you ask me to meet Nelson Mandela, what a steal?
And Chalis Theron wasn't having it. She was like, are
you guys kidding me? I'm not that.

Speaker 4 (59:40):
I'm not giving away this incredible prize for thirty seven
thousand dollars. It's just not happening.

Speaker 3 (59:47):
So out of the blue, she goes, I'm gonna throw
in a kiss with me. You get to kiss me,
you get you still get the trip to the World Cup,
you get to meet Nelson Mandela, and you get to
hook up with me. Hollywood actress Chalise Thorn, who is

(01:00:09):
an in two thousand and nine, what do.

Speaker 2 (01:00:12):
You mean in two thousand and nine?

Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
Now?

Speaker 3 (01:00:14):
I mean she is now, but in two thousand and nine,
she's always.

Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
Been producers, if you were in this room, are you
making a bit on this?

Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
Oh? I feel weird about her, Like, of course, like
for the story and like.

Speaker 4 (01:00:29):
Experience, but like in reality it would probably be quite
weird to like, you're like, okay, so how do we do?

Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
I put my hands on your on.

Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
Your waisttore go in there hard, baby, Like.

Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
Do you have a tongue kiss with if you're bidding
on this?

Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
Hang on?

Speaker 7 (01:00:47):
Did she offer tongues?

Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
I'm pretty sure it was a full on passion. Absolutely.
It wasn't a pick like it was a full on
tongue dinner first or no.

Speaker 7 (01:00:57):
You just your confidence.

Speaker 5 (01:00:58):
I know it's an awkward thing, but you just go, hey, mate,
let's go to town.

Speaker 2 (01:01:02):
Put on it.

Speaker 7 (01:01:04):
Does she's got a leader?

Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
Does it come into play? She was in a relationship
at the time. That's on her.

Speaker 7 (01:01:13):
Out the gate though.

Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
I love her so much.

Speaker 3 (01:01:15):
She said some great stories and she's just out here
being like, I don't have enough of them right now,
I'm going to make some.

Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
Do you guys want to know what happened? Yes?

Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
What happened in the end, So the bidding had stopped
at thirty seven thousand, She's jumped in and said, I'm
putting on the table a full on pash with me
and I believe it was there.

Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
And then like it wasn't like we'll go into a
back room and have a pash.

Speaker 5 (01:01:39):
Like it was.

Speaker 4 (01:01:40):
You go up onto the stage so you claim your prize.
I don't know what if you're not at the bidding
started to go ballistic.
