Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the Zitian Podcast Network. This is for the Flewood
Has Big Pod, brought.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
To you by Chemist Warehouse, the biggest brands at the
lowest prices.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Good morning, Happy Friday, Welcome to the show. Fletch, Morn
and Haley more gold medals. That's fantastic, isn't it?

Speaker 4 (00:15):
Just bloody nailing it.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I'm trying to find the Ohio New Zealand's meddle count
for gold now, wow, eight silver and six bronze? Now
where we at per capita? Because as a show, isn't
it surely we've got to be up there. US is
one of those little Commonwealth island nations to win wine
and we're yeah, exactly, but you're not too bad, you know.

(00:39):
We always punch above our weight, don't we. Speaking of
small island nations, you see Nabaru change its name. What's
it called now? Similar but different spelling memor when Turkey
was like no, oh okay, bit of a bit of
that situation. So they were going to vote on it,
and then I think they just decided it wasn't worth
the vote, right, So it's yeah, you normally in a U,

(01:02):
are you now it's in a O E R O.
How would you say that.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
It's hard not to put a multi spin on it.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
It is is.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Yeah, how changed with the signs now, don't we Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:23):
Great for the local sign writer. Great news.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
You think that's the only reason there was some ground
swell movement is because the island's only sign writer was
like this, she's pretty she's pretty quiet.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Quiet on the island. Haven't written a sign in a year?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
And then he's like, do you think we should change
the speed limits? I reckon, this is the They used
to be known as Pleasant Island, then changed to Nado
and now it's NATO for the Republic of Nato.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
I reckon that. Sign writers absolutely fine.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Absolutely every one on the island.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
The changes some of.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
The pole is coming up soon. And we've asked the
question today, how do you touch the pedestrian crossing button?

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Did you answer? I down at all on a menace.
I can take the road into my own hand.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
I do cross, I do. I don't want to unless
it's busy. I'll just gay walk. Absolutely. But yeah, it's
either the phone or the back of the hand or
the army fingers you want to touch a jermy button.
That's coming up. The results soon with silly little pole.
It's that time of the year. You maybe owed some money.
The dude might have some of your sweet sweet care

(02:35):
id have it? Will give you the details soon, but yeah,
there's a way that you can find out if you're
owed money, surely by the government.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
I feel like I owned him.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
And there's a massive less doesn't it. Do you have
a total amount one hundred and sixty eight million dollars
Bailey sprout sixty nine, but I've bookmarked a million of it?
You it must take it next on the show. It's
bad news for you, Hayley, all good news depending on
which way.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
You look at it.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Science has proven that crazy cant ladies are real. Hey,
are real? I'm about to get crazier.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I reckon the flee worn and haleyd.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Crazy can't ladies? Would you say you're a crazy cat lady? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:19):
I just I just want I just want to sniff
him all the time.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
My cant smells good too. God, wait, am I a
crazy cant lady? Now? Is it just gendered specifically to ladies,
because well, it's always a trope, But it's always been
the stereotype, whether it's ovs or TV shows, spin spinster. Yeah,
YEA loves her cats.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
But I I think my cat is God's gift and
I know when the day comes, which will be in
fifty nine years, that I will be replacing him with
like I think, maybe four at.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Once, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Because you've got to kind of get.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Them in a batch so that they grow up and
they like each other.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
And I just want to be surrounded by them. And
then you know, I have a dream of moving to
Thailand and working at a cat sanctuary for a year.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah. Do you think when they shut down those you know,
there's always those stories in the news about someone holding
like a hundred cats. Do you think most of the
time it's women or it's men? Women?

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Well?

Speaker 3 (04:24):
What is? Scientists from the University of Lucerne looked into
this Switzerland and they have found that women tend to
feel more attached to the pets than men do. So
they surveyed adults about their relationships with animals and the
results revealed that women feel attached to their pets, they

(04:45):
received more socio emotional support from them, they spend their
time with them than men and people that own dogs
as well.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
And I also I wonder because Rolly, my cat, I
love him so March, but I think he prefers the
company of men, you know what I mean, Like he
when there's a man around being a new man or
my dad or.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Whatever, he's sexist, is he or gay or gay or gay?
Yeah on TBC.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
But I think he can smell my cat woman desperation, right,
you know what I mean. It's kind of like why
kids love me because they know that I'm like, okay,
you know what I mean, different to them, whereas yeah,
Rollie like can feel that I'm like, I love you,
and he's like like morches up to like a builder
or like anyone who's like, I love this man.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
But yeah, how dare you?

Speaker 4 (05:37):
I don't know. It was science, but it's nice that
we're getting things out of cat we can't get out
of men.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
The history of cat of like the cat, the crazy
cat Lady trope.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Oh yeah, so which is yes, Witches Salem.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Witches was a massive wine. It was unmarried woman. People
are like, what's wrong with it?

Speaker 5 (05:56):
Doesn't want a good man with a solid penis.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
You're a solid penis and a hard working job, and
a lot of them just had cats for company, as
you said, and often back in the day.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Rodent control, there wasn't a man around to take care
of the rodents.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
The cats would step into that.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Because it's funny that you'd go, there's a crazy cat lady,
and then the man's best friend as the dog. Yes,
at that kind of thing that you don't really have,
like crazy dog lady.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Do you think it's because like in the traditional roles
of it, women were horm bound as cats often are, yeh,
sleeping during the day, but adventuring at night, whereas men
were out.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
And about and the dogs that don't laugh it out
and about and you do.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
You seem for hunting as well.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Yeah, yeah, And I just think that cats have similar
temperaments to a lot of women, right, you know, everything's
going sweet and they're not. And then like, don't touch me,
look at me. I'm hungry.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Touch me here, touch me here, touch me, don't.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Touch me there, I'll swipe it.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
You what are you?

Speaker 6 (07:00):
You want?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Desperate loser? Both famously love when you get their belly
and you just like rub it side aside and you're
in the belly and we go, I hate you.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Does then Podcast Network and land.

Speaker 3 (07:14):

Speaker 5 (07:45):
The ir D.

Speaker 3 (07:46):

the way, the news articles that I had just kept going.

I R and you can search for you specifically. I'm like,

(08:26):

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Of course they don't. Of course they don't want to
give them because I always think because I've I've got
you two jobs, right, one freelance, one seller. I'm always
like the way mine goes, I always end up owing
a battle, so I wouldn't bother checking. But I didn't
because you think, no, it's not I'm not entitled to
a text return. Yeah, but it's other little bitsy wits.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Yeah, and I love searching, like you can search family
rooms and friends. It's amazing. Yeah, search anyone. Imagine if
you found out your friend got a thousand bucks or something,
you'd be like, hey, let's go after your shower. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
The website's clever. I had us all open in different tabs.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah, and I've just gone to look it up and
it says it appears you've duplicated a browser tab and
so we've we've closed this.

Speaker 5 (09:12):

Oh okay, sneaking a little snarky little bitch.

Speaker 3 (09:16):

Speaker 5 (09:17):
So now I've had to go back and do it again.

Speaker 3 (09:19):

a car, and it's keep checking boxes until all the
cars are gone. Oh my god, it's twenty twenty six, Like,

Speaker 5 (15:30):
Now, what else have I got coming.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Up, play Haley, fun Haley, silly little po.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
It is so silly, silly, silly, that silly.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Silly.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Well, today's silly little pole is what do you use
to press the pedestrian crossing button? Do you know what?

Speaker 4 (16:00):
I'm like, a foot or an elbow or something.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
I'm an holbur guy.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
I kind of got used to that from COVID to
the back of the hand like a fist.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, never the finger anymore. Sometimes the phone.
If I'm holding the phone, I'll use the phone to
press the elevator button to work. Yeah, if I've got
my phone out the corner of that a red hot
back of the fist. Yeah, sometimes I'll kick it. If
I'm feeling like a ninja, I'll kick it too. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
It's funny that we literally talked, was it yesterday? About
you know, poopy lime scooter handles and you wrap your
mits around those, and you're like, I simply couldn't push
it steal, but.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
I will just press it like I don't really care. Yeah. Well,
we asked do you use your hands, your arms, your
feet or another it could be tipp could be nose.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
Don't use your nose, and don't use your tip.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
No greater joy. And you're at the lights about to
cross the road, and you know the lights haven't come on,
You've got to press it so that it goes.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
Red and green.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
No greater joy in beating a small child to pushing
the button.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
Especially if you kind of like have to shuffle them
to the side.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Yeah, just like and be like none am I watched?
Yeah either you were saying, when you push it and
it immediately goes, you get get like I've been waiting
for you. Yeah. Yeah. Sixty percent of people use hands.
Twenty two percent of people use.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Arms, some guessing that's your elbows all the others. A
seven percent use their feet. Yeah, eleven percent use other.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Okay, I wouldn't be with other Please tell me someone's
got a special stick for this.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
What about that.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Boot with the booty? Oh yeah, a bootybup jacks is
the knuckle. Ten years ago, I would have pecked foot.
But I'm thirty nine now and the old leg doesn't
come up that far as easily. Yeah, I wanted to
be doing that. Yeah, strain something feet if no one's
around his brand, knee or elbow if they are knee. Yeah,

(18:02):
our phone says Haley. However, I'm old and wise enough
that I can cross the road without pushing it.

Speaker 6 (18:08):
More.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
People just need to look left and right before stopping traffic.
Oh my god, years when it's one of those pedestrian
only crossings in the middle of a busy road and
let you just jaywalk, oh like, don't stop. All the
all people jaywalk and then the lights go because they've
already pressed it. Yeah one, yeah, Phil said, he said,

(18:30):
I work retail and they handle cash daily.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
I'm not scared of crossing like buttons being germy.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Yeah, you've got that. You've got that filth all over
your hands anyway, Cathy said, usually the corner of my phone. Yeah,
I didn't know so many people were using their fine
Do you never wipe it down? Do you know?

Speaker 4 (18:46):
We do that and then we talk on it, We
rub it against our face.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
I've actually started at that, because you know, I do
a quant a few cycle classes, and you wipe down
the bikes afterwards with the anti back. I do a
little phone wipe an object I'm holding like a water bottle,
or I'll tuck my hand into my sleeve and use
that is Sarah, Yeah, nice, who's sort of using the
sleeve as a condom sort, Yes, a condom of sorts,

(19:12):
Jesse said, backside of my hand on my knee. Yep,
that works. You Prett says, I make my kid do
it with his elbow because that shit's gross and they're
already children. Your kid gets sick and then you have
to take a day off work to look at you
and make you whole school. Yeah, and that's how the
pandemic start. Joe answered, other Aka, I make my.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
Husband push it.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
You're nice. So we asked for so little pole. What
do you used to press the producer and crossing button?
The majority six of percent of you using the hands.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
The z M podcast network plays z MS flesh Forn
and Haley.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Pubs are Back.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
We know this as a show just for a lot
many years over decay.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
I reckon a couple of decades because you had yours
lazy your y don't it's some.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Patchy right.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
What they call it permanent laser hair removal. But it's
always permanent comes back if.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
You don't do the maintenance on it, like I haven't
done with like umpets and leaves and stuff.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
It's back enough that.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
I can get back on board with pubes being on
pubes been back back in fash but okay, there's something
called whisker fatigue. And I was like, okay, I think
I know what this is. No, No, I was wrong. And
the moment I found out what whisker fatigue actually is,
I was like, we all know this feeling.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
What did you think it was?

Speaker 4 (20:32):
I thought maybe it was just sort of we're bored
of it or something we want to keep on changing
up our style or you know. Whisker fatigue is when
your pubes get a little too long and they heard
a bit your pubes.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Oh okay, have you had that? What?

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Oh, don't abandon me now.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
I need further explanation.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
So when whisker fatigue is when you're pub it gets
a little too long. Yeah, some people compare it to
which you won't know. But when your ponytail gets a
bit sort of tight and a bit.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
And does it get caught in?

Speaker 4 (21:08):
You caught maybe even now, and then we'll get caught
in the weave, the knitt of the under well, no,
I like.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
To trim them, so I don't.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
I don't experience with cubes are back bushes back which no,
not just bush bush and that people are saying when
they're going where they're letting bush rull. Sometimes they sort
of tug a little bit and they can kind of
get caught in the weave of the fabric and sort
of have a little bit of a pull to it
every now and then, or get caught in your clothes

(21:36):
or your underwear or kind of snag to the side.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
And this would be generations experiencing this for the first time.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
Yeah, for sure, because they've grown up, developed their pubes,
been told that we don't do pubes, remove the pubes, yeah,
or trim the pubes, wax the pubes. I mean, we
were going complete publis for a while, right, and now
people are saying the pupe tag is like my pubes hurt.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
The closest thing I could liken it too, would be
when you get out of the shower and they'll maybe
the towel has a pool.

Speaker 5 (22:03):
I'm just thinking, I just don't know about experience.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
The long are you leaving your like even with bush
back still surely we're having a little skull.

Speaker 5 (22:12):
No, no, you do the boundary you.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Were were trimming station right right up to the neighbor's house. Yeah,
you do the Yeah, it was none of you, none
of your business, none of your business.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
But if you're going full bush fool bush is like
you leave that thing b But someone would saying you
would experience it more if you had quite coarse curly here,
because it can kind of all get caught up. But
I think from years I don't know if you've experienced this,
but from years of removal might quite straight you know,

(22:49):
much too much yet kind of quiet ghd. Down there
we go a solution for a solution to the whisker fatigue.
The solution for whisker fatigue is as we can keep
it low maintenance, okay, because that's the whole thing of
Bosh being back.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
But you do want to try. It's kind of like
a beard.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
You've got to push either lower or longer to get
to that perfect little limb. Right, So keep here trim
to a linth that avoids discomfort, So a little bit shorter,
but not also the tight too close shaved because then
we're getting into like.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
A different kind of friction. Right.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
So pubes are back, But like in ay.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Wesker fatigue is real. Well, don't sneak your pubes today, guys.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Plays it in Fleshorn and Haley.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
From the unmoderated comment section. This is the top six

Speaker 6 (24:59):

Speaker 3 (25:00):

Speaker 4 (25:01):

Speaker 3 (25:02):
Money change changed us?

Speaker 5 (25:04):
Yes, this is by the way.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
I've decided if I ever win Loto, I'm going to
remain anonymous, but I'm going to say I purchased the

Did a lot of I got a good story. Yeah,
really and really.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
White riles people up when somebody spent the last of
their benefit, especially if it's the benefit last of my benefit.
I spent the last of my benefit on that. The
kids went it without. But now we're sort I was driving.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
I was driving to formally declare bankruptcy.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
I was in the car and I thought, I'll just
get a ticket. They only purchased a lot of tickets
when the jack part was above thirty million. I hate
hearing that good on them on Saturday night when just
before betties I might check the Lotto app checked it.
The forty million prize had been split between two winners
and then it said to him.

Speaker 5 (25:50):
You are one of them. Wow, it got out of bed.

Speaker 4 (25:53):

Refuse to watch The Titanic. The Titanic now that you
may have heard say this in the news yesterday.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
So Titanic the Human Story is coming to Auckland next month.
It's coming in August to the old Smith and Koe's building.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
And it is great to see that building getting used
because that's beautiful. I know they shut down and it
was a department store for years. So they say heartbreaking
for us Smiths.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Oh, your generational wealth was depleted.

Speaker 3 (31:03):
Yes, immediately, it wasn't part of the smith generational lack
of wealth of the departments still know, Yeah, we was.
Luckily we've still got our glass business, both of us.
I want you guys to know, not only do we repair,
we replaced. Well, I've got construction and that. I want
to know how Uncle Dick is Dick Smith. Yeah, well

(31:25):
not good, not great. Actually, I've got terrible news about.

Speaker 4 (31:30):
So Titanic the Human Story is this huge kind of experience,
It says, step into an emotional journey through the Titanic's
true story. So it's not you know, bloody Leonardo and Kate,

Do they have bits anything from the actual titan jackets and.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
So there's life size recreations of the ship's interiors from
the first class luxury rooms to three class simplicity. So excited.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
How much that sounds. That sounds like a whole thing.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
Yeah, well that's nothing buildings, it's massive. So I was
in Australia and this has been touring around Australia for
a bit and it was sold out every single day
I was there. So the website front and I'm on
the website. This opens well, it docs Augulist a month,

(32:51):
so it's Aukland in August. It's August twenty eight and
in five days we can join a weight list.

Speaker 6 (32:57):
We're on it.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
I've got a countdown in our calendar so exciting.

Speaker 4 (33:00):
Really two hundred original objects from the Titanic and included audio.
Guy like that narrates you through the journey, travel back
in time, separate fat from fiction. They're like, sorry, James Cameron,
but that didn't happen. There was no steamy sex in
the back of the car with I bet there was.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
I bet there was. There wouldn't that many people, I
bet there was, especially cabin if it happens on the
inter Islander, it happens on Tultanic. Those truck drivers on
the inter Islander, they just can't be stopped.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
People say it's incredible, it's moving. Highly recommend like it's
been all around that it looks amazing if you are
interested in the Titanic. One of the greatest documentaries on YouTube.
A chef recreates the entire menus for the different classes
and does.

Speaker 6 (33:41):
History as he talks you through it. Shotgun the Top
color incredible to watch. Well, yeah, they eat down below
lots of jelly. Jelly was huge in the nineteen tens.
I loved you like savory jail.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
I was going to say, I think she's sill about savory.
Human versions of jelly. They got peas in it Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
And dessert jolly too. But yeah, this chef makes all
thet the meals. I highly recommend. I'm going to go
on the wait list because this looks great. It's going
to sell fast, I reckon. Yeah, all of the girlies
are into this.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
You could really have a day in all class. All
the artifacts from the are they on like strings and
stuff because people would people wo okay, right, I was
going to say, how much is.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
Dollars?

Speaker 3 (34:30):
Be trusting anyone in downtown Auckland. I've seen those people
hanging around the of our country and also metropolis outside
with a CHEERLI been with ice and be like, come
and get out a piece of the Iceberg officialized. Yeah, Iceberg,

(34:52):
my great great grand years.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
You please gotta got the Iceberg. Take it away, but
wrap it up in like gift wrapping paper.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
But that you go best to affairs Well twenty eighth
of August.

Speaker 4 (35:05):
It is all kicking off, but you can join a
wait list to buy tickets in five days time.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
The ZM podcast Network play z m's Flesh.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
Forn and Haley. I'm off to Hamilton tonight. I'm doing
two shows sixty eighth and you can't wait And when
I get ready to get on stage, I sit back stage,
I've got some music on, and paint my face, you know,
give them a makeup on. And a huge part of
that is eyeshadow, as my mother wore and her mother

(35:38):
before her, and now gen Z apparently are saying it's
an old lady thing quote old lady not only unfashion
not cringe, old lady thing, old lady thing.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
Should I don't wear it.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
During the way because I don't wear anything during the
week because I'm tired.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
But when I go out, my shirt is like my
favorite bert. Old ladies wore purple eyes.

Speaker 4 (36:04):
I loved the purple. We loved blue for a number
of years. Yes, then we moved to a brown, and
then we did a smoky gray.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
Now, when I go on stage, obviously go a bit
heavier because it's performance and.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
People are far away.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
But I'm like, I go all in with the ice
shirdw and there's glitters in there and there's little smoky
bits everywhere.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
Is there exception for stage performers.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
They don't know. They didn't say this, They didn't. I
don't know if they've said that old lady performers stage
gen Z only deal in absolutes.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
Yeah they die. Okay, so.

Speaker 4 (36:36):
This has been shipped on TikTok and everyone agrees.

Speaker 3 (36:38):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
So are you going to stop now when you go out?

Speaker 8 (36:41):
God?

Speaker 5 (36:42):
No, just embrace embrace old lady. Embracelet lady.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
Women in their thirties, they say, so, this is apparently
the bracket for old lady.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
Yep, someone on a dating didn't someone on a dating
it say they quite like an older lament. Yeah, and
I see it. Calm down, I'm thirty six. Well I
knew someone who's in the early thirties, and nineteen year
old dudes on dating apps were taking their shot because
they it was very much for the younger man to

(37:13):
to bed a woman in her thirties was sort of sacred.
Crab ladies such as my sound I.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
Old freaky joint. You you an old creaky joint girl.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
So apparently very popular, the twenty two year old saying,
nobody's doing that anymore.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
It's like it's real cringe.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Okay, she said, we haven't been doing eyeshadow like that
since twenty twenty one. It's unfashionable. We don't touch palettes
like that. It's all the sort of like skinner list
like we're just focusing on nice glowy skin.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
But a mascara fluffy brown that you can do old ladies,
can you, because you're not hiding anything.

Speaker 4 (37:50):
Yeah, mate, you are going to be lathering that shitt
have to distract from anything and everything soon.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
The Den podcast network plays it in flesh and Win.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
A prank went badly. Maybe you were the pranker and
something did not go well. It just went too far,
We went too far. Maybe it was poorly received. Maybe
you were pranked and you fell for it and it
actually was really bad. Because sometimes people don't read the room,
or they don't they just go too far. Not everyone's
open to receiving a prank, or it could be just mean.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
And that's the thing. You don't want to prank to
come across as punching down no, because then you'd.

Speaker 5 (38:28):
Look like a bully.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
You got to prank someone who's like robust. Yeah, receive
a prank. So Charlie Hall, she is a three time
LPGA winning golfer.

Speaker 5 (38:37):
By the way, just on the subject of golf, I
started watching the Hawk.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
Feral Show.

Speaker 5 (38:43):
Feral Golf Show.

Speaker 3 (38:44):
Do you think is this going to be a bit thin?
It's so funny she'd be really good. It's an easy
watch toofax.

Speaker 4 (38:52):
So Charlie Hall, she's a professional golf a very successful golfer,
was doing a a press conference after a game and
was laughing and she was like, oh my god, we
actually did this thing and talked about She went to
a you know, like a joke shop or whatever in
the UK and got a prank one hundred thousand pound

(39:15):
so two hundred grand winning scratching and gave it to
her caddy, Adam who and she was filming, said oh,
you know, I have a scratch or something like that.
He scratches it, he takes his head off, he takes
his glasses off, he runs around, and it's just like,
oh my god, oh my god, I've just won a
hundred thousand pounds. I just oh my god, my god,

(39:35):
this is like incredible. His face looks happy. She's telling
me she's like he's sweating. He was trembling. He could
have believers lucky. We told it was fake and he
nearly quait and everyone was like, not really laughing. She
was saying, guys laughing, yea, because I feel like maybe
pranking me with like you've won fifty bucks and I'd.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
Be like, hell yeah, and it was fake, that would
be funny. Or if it was him pranking her because
she's a millionaire golf player and she does it need
one hundred thousand, you know what I mean? Not funny
when you do it. TA can not funny when you
do it to someone that's like under you and you're
not paying much.

Speaker 4 (40:07):
Yeah, And then and then everyone was like, it's so
bad that like that she did this, and then like
told everyone about doing it. Anyone's like, it's not funny,
it's very bad. And if you were that person that
felt like you won two hundred thousand dollars and then
suddenly you hadn't you feel like you've lost two hundred
thousand dollars? It was never yours. Yeah, anyway, and I
think it's gone quite wrong because I don't know how

(40:29):
the caddy feels about it. But everyone online is just like,
this is poor Beohovia. This is like not good. Yeah,
but let's talk pranks. Maybe you pranked someone and it
didn't go very well, or someone pranked you, yes and
it was ill received.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
Okay, Oh, eight hundred dollars at em as our number.
You can take through nine six nine six.

Speaker 4 (40:45):
When did a prank not go well?

Speaker 3 (40:48):
Emma? When did a prank go too far?

Speaker 9 (40:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (40:51):
Morning, guys, are you going you're really top notch?

Speaker 10 (40:54):
Good?

Speaker 3 (40:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (40:55):
Years ago, like twenty years ago, me and my mates
are leaving a pub and back then they used to
sell like.

Speaker 10 (41:02):
Fart bombs and little glass and pilled. Yeah, and we
had one in a pocket.

Speaker 8 (41:08):
And our mates lived next to the pub, and so
we thought it'd be funny to throw the far and
pill in one of their windows, and so we did that.
And then next time we went.

Speaker 10 (41:17):
And sat in the park nearby and were watching. And
next thing, the fire department turned up fire truck and
obviously the thought it was they felt sulfur and thought
it was an electrical fault.

Speaker 8 (41:29):
We thought by then it was just we were into deep.

Speaker 9 (41:31):
We thought it was hilarious.

Speaker 8 (41:33):
And then next thing they were like getting put into
their car was their suitcases. They'd got their little kids
up and they were told to move out for days
until the whole house.

Speaker 3 (41:42):
And in my mind, when you were doing this prank,
you were teenagers doing it to other teenagers or like
a flat you weren't doing it to people with children.

Speaker 8 (41:53):
That's the same.

Speaker 10 (41:53):
Well, we thought it would be funny as and they
were our friends.

Speaker 8 (41:56):
And still to this days of twenty years later, they still.

Speaker 10 (41:58):
Don't know it was ours. And they were in their
house two or three days.

Speaker 4 (42:02):
I told them, you didn't tell them.

Speaker 10 (42:05):
No, they still don't know.

Speaker 9 (42:06):
Oh my.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
My, I think that's unforgivable. This this you're too deep,
You're too way, way too deep.

Speaker 10 (42:15):
And they're older than us, and we were just scared.

Speaker 3 (42:18):
Oh my god, I'd never.

Speaker 4 (42:19):
Die on this.

Speaker 1 (42:21):
Yeah, it's only like three of us that know.

Speaker 3 (42:23):
Okay, well, now the nation as well. They that's incredible thing.
Do you keep your tis coming in nine six nine
sex and geto those necks? When did the prank go wrong?
Every year, the boys and I buy up some fireworks
and have a wizard war. Okay war, that's you, the
Roman candles, the dealer. The government this week decided they're

(42:44):
not going to ban fireworks. Yeah I thought they were.
I thought we were losing fireworks seemed the sensible move.

Speaker 5 (42:49):
And I don't banned fireworks.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
So we're going to fully fund the fins then and
give the fire fighters what they need. No, no, not
that either. Warden's change. She used to be real pro fireworks.

Speaker 4 (43:03):
Yeah, he was.

Speaker 3 (43:04):
I used to love fireworks and that's the exact reason why.
Now I look and I think that's why they need
to be bare. Yeah. Anyway, we were having a wizard
warp one cheeky bars that brought an absolutely massive one.
So he didn't go for the rulers Roman candles. Only
he lit it and he was holding it with two
hands and we're like, oh ship. Now it shot and

(43:25):
a mate put up his hands. It ricocheted off the
guy he shot it at, and back at the guy
who shot it right and it hit him and it
was one of those ones that whistles yep, then goes
silent momentarily and then exploded and all you could hear
him would say was ah fuff and then at the
boom and the light show. When it finally stopped, he

(43:47):
wasn't too badly burnt, but he had both shatter his
pets and pissed.

Speaker 4 (43:50):
His pants piss.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
We can kind of you. You're all involved in that prank.
You knew what was happening. He built a prank and
an absolutely backfight on him. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
I love this prank my boss that I was quishing,
and he set at a company wide email before I
could tell him it was a joke.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
I quit.

Speaker 5 (44:10):
I was working at a hospital in the UK.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
The hospital porters played a prank comment of the colleagues
by pretending to be a dead patient. When they clicked
to the corpse, it suddenly came to life in the left,
scaring the unsuspecting porter, and it actually resulted in him
suffering PTSD because he had some stuff he hadn't dealt with,
and all the.

Speaker 5 (44:28):
Other porters got sacked.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
Wow, okay, my husband did this almost the same prank
his mother when he was a kid. His mother asked
him to write down the lotto numbers. No, instead, he
just wrote down randomly numbers that had heard ticket that
were on her ticket. Watched her go quiet, wander around
the house for a bit that she was a financially

(44:52):
struggling solo mom. No, that's so bad.

Speaker 5 (44:58):
He watched her.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
This is exactly word for word. He watched her seeing
the light at the end of a tunnel. Then he
cracked up and he told her what he had done.
He still feels bad about it thirty years. I bet
you would, I.

Speaker 4 (45:11):
Bet you would go it's all going to be okay,
and you're like Najo, Yes.

Speaker 3 (45:16):
My cousin did that empty mug prank where you pretend
to like trap and throw a hot cupper and somebody's face,
but it's empty. She did it too, her mum, but
her mum just lighting quick smacked the cup and just
bashed it straight into somebody else's face and they got
a black eye.

Speaker 4 (45:32):
Prank didn't go well. Prank called our friend I haven't
read this.

Speaker 3 (45:38):
Some of the.

Speaker 4 (45:40):
Prank called our friend Justin's mean girlfriend from the old
landline phone with scary calls. After many calls, she took
the phone off the hawk. We called one one one
and said an old lady may have fallen over and
knocked the phone and could they make the high pitched
noise to put the phone back on the receiver.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
It's not a thing.

Speaker 4 (46:00):
Next minute they send an ambulance and police car to
her house. We're in big trouble with the police for
wasting emergency services time. Yeah wow, yeah, that's little shit.

Speaker 5 (46:12):
Good God.

Speaker 4 (46:13):
As a child, I liked sneaking a shortcut through the
local bowling club. Then one morning there was a big snow.
I thought, wow, I could jump over the wall and
run all around the green on fresh snow. So I
stood on the wall, jumped all of a sudden, I'm
in hell. Turns out the windows we're going to be
changing the clubs clubhouse had already been changed, and I
jumped straight through a whole pile of glass like I
was in welly boots. So I just cracked and crunched

(46:35):
my way back and ran home. Never told anyone ever, yees, silly,
it was lucky out there. No pranking me either. I'm sensitive.

Speaker 3 (46:45):
Shark week.

Speaker 4 (46:46):
Don't preank me for another two weeks.

Speaker 1 (46:49):
Does that M podcast network plays that Ms Flesh.

Speaker 3 (46:54):
And Haley, Oh no, talk about something. I witnessed my
teenage daughter doing that. I was just I was actually
in awe. Oh really, she said to me, she said
these orshes were collecting. Was taking this quite seriously? The
war words, Yeah, a little rubbery, another bloody thing that
pumps up on the screen at the self serve. If

(47:14):
it's not donating to a charity, it's do I want
some Oh, she's no, she do you want something something else? No?
I was. I think it was the weird House the
other day asked me to round up to the nearest
dollar for a donation to charity. I was like, yeah,
it was seven cents. I feel like, after all the
fees the charity actually paid for that one, yeah, I
would have happily rounded it up to the next five

(47:35):
dollars and another yeah. Yeah, But anyway, that's by the bye.
The ashes are starting to pile up because we've got
some people collecting in the ashes as well. Okay, how
many are there to collect?

Speaker 5 (47:45):
That's a good question, Carl forty.

Speaker 3 (47:48):
I think I think there's forty different ashes, all right, lots.
You know how manybody houses got twelve thousand bloody lily
pads are and toystery five?

Speaker 4 (47:56):
Why are there so many lily pads?

Speaker 3 (47:59):
It's giving leap frog money, it's giving bid just trying
to shove a new character down our throat. Yes, it's
actually imaginings even more because Lla, but do you know
how many of there are to collect? For forty? And
every one of them comes with a glow and the
dark variant? Okay, but some are gold, some of colored,
and there's some rare ones and stuff. And then he

(48:20):
said to me, what are we doing with all these
double ups? I was like, I don't know it. The
girls are into it, kind of well, she was kind
of into it. And then she said Can I trade them?
And I was like, yeah, knock yourself out, trade them.
She's like, I'm actually collecting old cabbage and lettus leaves
at Pack and Save in my trolley. People always every time. Yeah, yeah,
that's what I get at pack and say trade okay,

(48:40):
because I've got a wet receipt receipt leaves, okay, I've
also got the very rare sanitation wipe dropped by a
child into the thing after actually moist. I'm hoping for

(49:01):
the really rare Nana's handbag that she left in the tray.
Three of those, Yeah, it won't be me. So she said,
can I trade these? You knock yourself out? And it
was like she just switched. She just locked in.

Speaker 5 (49:18):
I think they call it dialed in. Locked in. Yeah,
She's like all right, takes.

Speaker 3 (49:21):
A gets out of her phone and thinks, hey guys,
I'm going to start trading these or she's what have
you got?

Speaker 6 (49:25):
Wait?

Speaker 3 (49:26):
Is she training these?

Speaker 5 (49:27):
She sends it to her snapchat store you.

Speaker 4 (49:29):
Have got one of those modems next to the dark
wind and then.

Speaker 3 (49:33):
Her phone lights up. Then she's getting calls. It was
like being on the bloody floor of Wall Street. Really,
She's like yep, yep, yeah, I've got two of those. Yep, yeah,
you can have one. Nah, what are you giving me?
Are you getting money or just trade trading. She's like, no,
I'll give you one, but I need two of those
from you. And then she becomes the middleman. She's like

(49:54):
she's writing down who's got what yah, and then she's
got somebody else on the phone being like, yeah, I
can do it. I can actually get a hair.

Speaker 5 (50:01):
I can get a hold of two of those.

Speaker 3 (50:03):
I'll give one to you, but the other one.

Speaker 4 (50:06):
Spoken for money, I can give you to today, but
getting it on Monday.

Speaker 3 (50:09):
That was what it evolved into. It became like she
was a bookie. They have one of those green transparent
peaks on and her glasses down like this, and she's
did a little bit that was crazy, and I was
like when she kind of like, I think she literally
said I'm going to take a break what she wanted
and she came out and got a drink and I

(50:29):
was like, where did you learn to do that?

Speaker 4 (50:31):
Like what are you?

Speaker 3 (50:32):
You're hustling in there and she's like it's roadblocks because
she plays this game where she does the pits and
everything and knows their value, And I was like, how
do you know the value of this? You can find
how rare they are? The market tells you maybe I
need to start getting these and then telling you what
I've got and you can tell her, or she'll just
cut me out.

Speaker 5 (50:47):
Why she dealing with me, She'll just go straight to
the sauce. I want money. I don't think you can
get money. You can only get what's.

Speaker 3 (50:54):
She said to me, We're going to need another one
of these because we've got the collector's box where you
display them all. So we're gonna need another one these
because I'm doing an exclusive blow in the dark one.

Speaker 5 (51:02):
I was like, how are you doing that?

Speaker 3 (51:03):
She's like, already, I'm already halfway there, Trader. It was,
that's not even your primary Supermarke.

Speaker 5 (51:10):
No, so man, that's she's hassling.

Speaker 3 (51:14):
I tell you what.

Speaker 4 (51:14):
I was pretty impressed. Impressed, bloody impressed. I think there's
a skill that will serve her well in life, you know, hustling, plane,
getting out the business, savvy, Yeah, knowing thy worth.

Speaker 3 (51:25):
Yeah. I was worried because I was thinking Wolf of
war Street and that, and then you don't want to
tossing the small people. I'm doing and yeah, that was
a great movie. That was the greatest movie ever. I
triggered it actually triggered a need for a rewatch of
The Wolf of war Street. But anyway, I just all

(51:46):
of a sudden, all, she's a disappearing I'm not saying
she's responsible, saying there's a high chance she's trading them.

Speaker 2 (51:51):
Z M Podcast Network play z m's Flesh Worn and
Haley Allen Smith.

Speaker 4 (51:56):
You told me the other day about an attachment style
you've been learning about that.

Speaker 5 (52:00):
Yeah, what did you say?

Speaker 4 (52:01):
It was anxious?

Speaker 5 (52:03):
Anxious attachment style.

Speaker 3 (52:04):
That's what you are, mammas.

Speaker 4 (52:09):
Sorry, I didn't mean to say about Christine attachment styles.
I haven't looked into attachment styles at all because nobody
can tell me what I am and am not I am.

Speaker 3 (52:19):
You don't want to be labeled. I don't like what
my attachment style disassociated? Yeah good, Wait a minute, removed,
securely removed, secure, anxious, avoidant slash dismissive. Yes, you me
avoidant and fearful. So those are the only ones. Yeah,
avoidant and fearful one avoidant dismissive of downplays importance of relationships.

(52:43):
It's extremely self reliant, can become more vulnerable when there's
a big crisis. Oh, secures means you can trust fairly easily.
As a tune to emotions, can communicate upsets directly and
leads with cooperative and flexible behavior and relationship communicates as
upsets directly, he goes, what the hell?

Speaker 4 (53:02):
Who did that?

Speaker 3 (53:03):
I like, always frustrate. It's quite direct, it's very direct.
You're in no doubt that I have an issue there. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4 (53:10):
So there is a term orbiting that is attached to
like an old fashioned attachment pattern.

Speaker 3 (53:16):
So I'm getting into these attachment styles.

Speaker 4 (53:19):
Orbiting is when someone actively stops pursuing or communicating with you, say,
someone that you're dating or seeing, or a boyfriend or
an X or something like that.

Speaker 3 (53:27):
Okay, this does apply to x's.

Speaker 4 (53:29):
And current relationships stop pursuing or communicating with you, but
they linger they orbit you digitally that Hey like.

Speaker 3 (53:36):
Digitally orbit you comment? Like, so always seeing your posts?
You always liking.

Speaker 4 (53:43):
See that, you see that they've seen your story. Yeah,
they might shuck a heart every now and then you're like,
what are you doing? Man? You had your child.

Speaker 3 (53:50):
But it may just be friendly. Can it not be amicable?
Why people do it?

Speaker 4 (53:55):
Curiosity nostalgia, guilt not being fully over it, cruelty communicating
I'm like our fletch here what they want, or keeping
someone as a backup option, being like I won't fully
let you go.

Speaker 3 (54:08):
I feel like that's just modern dating. Though if you
maybe you haven't been with some of it, you've hopped
up a few times, you just digitally orbit them and
definitely maybe it happens again one day.

Speaker 4 (54:17):
I've definitely had people that I hooked up with over
the last year that you'd be like, well, that's not
going to go any further or you know whatever, and
then digitally they're just always every now and then like huh,
you know, like they were just coming into something and
be like damn, and you're like, what you want?

Speaker 3 (54:31):
Will you like that?

Speaker 10 (54:32):
Though?

Speaker 4 (54:32):
Love?

Speaker 5 (54:36):
But I'm not everyone.

Speaker 4 (54:38):
Some people.

Speaker 3 (54:40):
To stop her when they're like, oh, I'm like, I
know you stuffed up?

Speaker 4 (54:46):
Why missus? If your hair? It can sometimes create for
people an ambiguous loss because you're like, be gone, be gone.
If you're going to be gone. If you didn't want
to commit to me or or or do the hard
yards of me, fine, but go on, don't just like
my staff.

Speaker 3 (55:01):
It's a little bit like that dating tu in the
submarining where they just pop up on the radar and
they do a little like or there, you know, the idea,
and then they.

Speaker 4 (55:12):
Just submerged town in Town Friday and you're like, yeah,
but not.

Speaker 1 (55:17):
With you, Liz in Podcast Network.

Speaker 4 (55:21):
Fact of the Day, day day day day Yeah, do
do do do do.

Speaker 3 (55:31):
Do do do do do do do do do do
do today.

Speaker 5 (55:38):
And the final fact for Salt Week is things that
you probably didn't know.

Speaker 3 (55:42):
Salt, but it's salt because technically a salt is a
compound made of a positive ion and a negative ion,
how together by ionic bonds I tuned out formed when
an acid and a neutral as neutralize each other.

Speaker 4 (56:02):
Like vagina as a vagina sult Vagina is because vagina
takes the acid and the neutral and it meets about
a seven.

Speaker 5 (56:10):
All going well, everything goes well.

Speaker 4 (56:12):
Salt.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
These things are salts, but it really made that sound appealing. Sorry,
carry on, more of a what are you more of
a sweet man than a savory?

Speaker 4 (56:25):
Yeah, look here we go, sweet over savory.

Speaker 3 (56:28):
Baking soda is technically a salt, same family's table salt,
just a different part rye on some salts. I mean
we all know, but it's technically known as magnesium sulfate. Okay,
so it's good for a bathg Remember when everyone was like,
don't use my salty goodness and yeah, it was the

(56:49):
it was real antie in the eighties and nineties.

Speaker 4 (56:52):
Headache.

Speaker 3 (56:52):
It's actually not bad for you, is it.

Speaker 4 (56:53):
No, I've got a bag of you just put it
in little things.

Speaker 3 (56:57):
You need time more and nobody what everybody's doing now,
what everyone's on board with now the yeast flakes flakes, Yeah,
no one was ever anti the yeast flakes, No, they weren't.
But everybody's just sprinkling them. You put the yas, yeah,
I know vegans that do the flakes, yeah, yeah, as

(57:17):
well as cheese, though we're not going without. Of course,
you never substitute cheese for I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (57:23):
Yeah, YaST flakes and cheese don't barely compare.

Speaker 5 (57:26):
Chalk and limestone are technically a salt.

Speaker 4 (57:28):
Really yeah.

Speaker 5 (57:29):
Potassium nitrate is also known as salt.

Speaker 4 (57:32):
Peter.

Speaker 3 (57:33):
That's a salt, right, I punch in the face as
a salt.

Speaker 5 (57:36):
That's a salt.

Speaker 3 (57:36):
Yeah yeah, yeah, FURTI.

Speaker 4 (57:39):
Bracket someone that's a salt.

Speaker 3 (57:41):
Fertilizer that's a salt. You know all well, fertilizer is well,
you know it's it's instability is what leads to go
cub blamy sometimes. Remember I watched that video the other day.
I remember that that fertilizer storage thing went off. O
my god, Yes, Jesus, like, you've forgotten how big that

(58:01):
trust me, you've forgotten how big that explodes?

Speaker 8 (58:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (58:03):
That was incredible to witness, wasn't it. Those hand warmer packets, yes,
love a salt. They use a sodium acetate assault made
by neutralizing as I'll tell you what I've got. I'm
anti those handwarmer things because I had some pillow cases
through and by those your pocket and they basically burnt that.

(58:25):
They burnt the pillow case. It's technically the same reaction
as baking soda and vinegar, but instead of like the
furs and the pop off that it does its heat.
It does heat instead. So when you crack it, they're
a magic pretty good. So today's factor, today's a whole
lot of stuff. Good, good week for you.

Speaker 6 (58:46):
Good.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
It is actually salt.

Speaker 4 (58:49):
Fact of the day, day day day day.

Speaker 2 (59:03):
You plays that Ms flesh one and Haley, we invite you,
Hailey sprowl back to Queen Margaret College for our reunion
high school.

Speaker 3 (59:13):
Okay, we want to talk high school reunions right now
because I've got zero interests and have never had any
interest same.

Speaker 4 (59:20):
This is why I want to hear from our listeners,
like what happened?

Speaker 6 (59:24):
Was it?

Speaker 4 (59:24):
Did something good happen?

Speaker 3 (59:26):
Drama?

Speaker 4 (59:27):
Drama happened? Did you reignite a love?

Speaker 3 (59:30):
Did the really hot person get real ugly?

Speaker 6 (59:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (59:32):
Did the bully like embarrass themselves?

Speaker 3 (59:36):
Was there some incredible glow ups?

Speaker 4 (59:38):
Or was it a beautiful moment? Like what happened at
the school reunion? Because this is my first time being
invited to one. Starts with the Chaplain's assembly will say
a little prayer as the Presbyterians are wanting to say,
you have a lunch. Whatever college tour, Well.

Speaker 3 (59:51):
It's like an official school school organized one was just
organized by lads. All right, but you went to it,
didn't you. Yeah, twenty the twenty year one, which isn't
impossible because I myself of money, So.

Speaker 4 (01:00:04):
One twenty years, next year two thousand and seven, well
two thousand even was the year I left.

Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
From the other day saying they got invited to a
ten year one.

Speaker 7 (01:00:12):
I was like ten years no, no, and then Darling,
we're having cocktails at four o'clock, Darling dulling, but you
you're not going to go to the same No, No,
is it money or you've got to fly down there.

Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
I'm gonna fly down to Wellington.

Speaker 5 (01:00:27):
It's a private school, of course, and they're putting it
on cocktails. Of course, it's connect it's gonna be.

Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Also anyone's going to go, it's you because you can
be like, I've done really well, I've actually I'm actually
it's successful. And then Victoria's model turns out. I say,
what if the Victoria's Secret model turns out?

Speaker 4 (01:00:42):
Yeah about lawyers a whoy and all sorts, and everyone's
gonna have cares. And I feel like the people that
have stayed connected to from high school, other people are
supposed to stay connected to. And the risk, you know,
best of luck to you has got your name?

Speaker 6 (01:00:56):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
Do you think it's controversial to say high school reunions
are for people that pete to high school?

Speaker 4 (01:01:01):
The sass on this one, well, listen, maybe it was
the best time ever and you were like this as well.
Maybe you ended up having the most ruckous night reliving
old memories. I'm like, tell me the good, the bad,
the ugly from your reunion?

Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
Was there drama? Was there anyone there that was lying
about how well they did?

Speaker 4 (01:01:18):
Gay now?

Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
Gay now? The drama, the whatever?

Speaker 6 (01:01:22):
It was?

Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
Oh, eight hundred dollars at him as a number text
through ninety six nine six, tell us your good yarns
from your high school reunion. Catherine said, it was like
Lord of the Bloody Flies. Everyone went back into their
little cliques and there was a fist fight at dinner.
What it was hilarious By the way, I went to
New Plymouth Girls Shelter. That does as someone who went
to New Plymouth Boys.

Speaker 5 (01:01:45):
Was she pretty?

Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
Oh? More fights at the girls school? Really old MPGs. Yeah,
oh lah. Got invited to a twenty year reunion. Other
than my good friends, I couldn't remember anybody that went. Also,
I asked a picture of the class from the yearbook,
and the group turned out that someone lives up the
street from me and offered to drop a year box

(01:02:07):
in my letterbox next day. She knew me and where
I'd lived. I couldn't even remember her. Yeah, that's something reunion.
Couldn't remember anybody the area. School was like, you know,
a big thing for some people, but other people, it's
like just a blip, isn't it of a lot of us.

Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
Yeah, you take what you need and the people you need,
and then you're like hello, Yeah, I want to say.

Speaker 3 (01:02:28):
Julian when to school reunion, feeling pretty confident I was
head boy, first fifteen basketball hero, even the most beautiful
head of hair. Oh wow, yeah, Okay, so many stories.
Let's just sound the second night I changed my name
take to Cory's brother because hardly anybody knew who I was,
but they remembered my brother hip boy, and no one

(01:02:50):
remembered im peaked in high school. Recently went to a
private school reunion after a couple of decades, can confirm
it's mostly the girls who peaked in high school and
realistic agents looking for clients. We might find some lest
things if we go to this wiers and some sellers.
Perhaps we have another first fight. Yep, the high school

(01:03:13):
bully and the pe teacher got into a fist fight
at the reunion. Also, the girl that would never talk
to me came up to me and said why didn't
we get together? When she realized that her path had
not gone as well as maybe it could have. Wanted
to get together.

Speaker 4 (01:03:25):
You're so mean to me.

Speaker 3 (01:03:26):
Do you think there would be a lot of like
trauma and like hard feelings over the years that have
been simmering away, that come to a hit.

Speaker 4 (01:03:33):
Of never realized where you're there maybe and you see
them and you go, oh my god, I hate you.
You ruined my life.

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
Also, the girl who was the complete wallflower at school
came back to the reunion absolutely stunning, and the manager
of a major league football team, what sucker you.

Speaker 4 (01:03:49):
That's where I'd go. If I had have been an
ugly darkling at high school.

Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
I was, and I was incredibly attractive. I would have
come out and then it's been like, look at me now,
ye one hundred percent. Okay, keep you texts coming in
nine six nine sex.

Speaker 4 (01:04:03):
I've been invited to my first high school reunion. We
want to hear about yours. How did it go? Someone said,
I rekindled with an old flame at our reunion. Okay,
ended up doing a year of long distance and have
now separated from our husbands and wives and moved in together.

Speaker 3 (01:04:18):
Oh okay, scandal, wow wow? And so do you think
they hooked up at like high school?

Speaker 4 (01:04:24):
Alia? We shouldn't have done that?

Speaker 3 (01:04:26):
Yeah, oh, my gosh, wait, I love you.

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Wait wait wait wait you husband, leave your wife? Wait?
Wait are we doing this? We're doing it?

Speaker 3 (01:04:33):
Wow? Love This.

Speaker 5 (01:04:36):
Had my high school reunion recently.

Speaker 3 (01:04:37):
I went to school with a girl called a Lisha,
and she used to talk about how she wanted to
be a mother and planning to get pregnant with twins.

Speaker 5 (01:04:42):
Whence she left school.

Speaker 4 (01:04:43):
That's how works.

Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
All she or she ever wanted to do on and
on and on about it. Well she turned up or
should I say he turned up? Oh wow, transition was
now going by. Alex asked if he had any kids.
He denounced children all together. They're very loud. There's so
many of them on our holiday, went there loud.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
It's a double realization. Yeah, yeah, my love kids. I
want twins, so I actually want to be I am
a man. I am a man, and I don't want
any kids ever, No, thank you, sir.

Speaker 3 (01:05:11):
I went to my twentieth and high story in March
and it was like no time had passed for me
and my mother had to come and co let me
from the pub at three em and I don't remember
the latter part of the night. And it is similar, yeah,
very similar to the there's a group. There was a
group chat created for RSVPs and the organizer removed three
people on the night because there was drama between them.

Speaker 4 (01:05:31):
It is that thing. It's like maybe when you return
to that familiar environment, it's like sometimes siblings at Christmas
and you're like you're forty yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:05:38):
Yeah, it's like this like kind of like slipping back
into those roles and fighting for our ten year reunion.
It was organized by a group of old classmates. Were
all added to a Facebook group and dinner and drinks
were organized. We were asked about one hundred dollars ahead
towards this. I found out from one of the girls
that when they went to pay for their own meals
and pubs at the drink they met up at the
dinner ed it, it wasn't covered. Ah, the one hundred

(01:06:03):
dollars didn't fully It's one hundred dollars for them, didn't
fully cover it.

Speaker 5 (01:06:07):
No one knew what the one hundred dollars worth.

Speaker 3 (01:06:09):
What that seems like have paid for something you can't
You're just one hundred dollars to organize it and not
provide something for them. Meeting at a bar or a
restaurant that you don't have to pay for that. Yeah,
just what you eat, right, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:06:26):
Someone to just say that they went to one. They
had to fly over to Melbourne for it, and they
had a great time. It was a lovely day. Other
than being was it fat or wealthier? Older and border
older even had a good time. He had some good
yarns and teachers as well.

Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
Okay, my kid's school is just basically a school reunion
every day. I just go there and it was every
one I went to school with them, the people who
went to school that became teachers teach there now, so yes,
it would be I finally got to bang my science
teacher at the high school reunion. I'm sorry what I
finally got to bang my high school teacher. He was

(01:07:00):
only twelve years older than he's a young teacher. But yeah,
you know, in an appropriate relationship in the second year.
But now it's is it still appropriate as inappropriate at
the reunion? No? Okay, all right, so it's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:07:12):
These things got on your mate.

Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
That's really you. That's one for the science department too,
because that's never the hot ones.

Speaker 4 (01:07:20):
We only know. No, we only had two male teachers.
One of them didn't teach me and the other who No, No, you.

Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
Could go back to your school reunion next month and
he could have blossomed, flourished.

Speaker 5 (01:07:34):
He was sixty then, so he's eighty now.

Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
He wasn't young or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (01:07:39):
Yeah, what do you want his money or not? I
as a teacher, you know, no one for been completely loaded.

Speaker 4 (01:07:46):
H Yeah you teach.

Speaker 3 (01:07:47):
He's been teacher for years.

Speaker 4 (01:07:49):
Yeah, making bank. Well maybe I'll go.

Speaker 5 (01:07:53):
I'm not going to go.

Speaker 3 (01:07:54):
No, I can't imagine that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
The ziting podcast network.

Speaker 4 (01:08:00):
Ms flitch one and Haley, I need to know from
our listeners, do you have a bad laugh? Do you
have a odd laugh, maniacal laugh like our dear friend
Morgan pen.

Speaker 3 (01:08:12):
Absolutely bizarre? And then do you remember that you were
one of your comedy shows a few years back? There
was she had an identical twin lane.

Speaker 4 (01:08:18):
They stopped the show to be like is that? Morgan

Speaker 4 (01:08:50):

Speaker 4 (01:09:05):
Actually that's pretty good. Actually, I'm getting a bit of
deal a deal here you are. So I'm in Hamilton
tonight and I posted something yesterday just mentioning there were
a few tickets left for six thirty and a lovely
person message saying, oh my god, we're at the six
city show, so excited. Preferably don't sell out the back row,
because that's what there's Those are the final tickets. I said, why, Kim,

(01:09:25):
She said, I like to think we're bringing premium audience energy.

Speaker 3 (01:09:28):
You don't want to dilute that.

Speaker 4 (01:09:29):
Plus, I laugh like an escaped seagull, and I don't
want to traumatize any now six thirty tonight, you believe
my ear is going to be open to the back
of the room knowing that lovely Kim is there with
her strange laugh. But I want to know if you've

(01:09:49):
got a laugh that just gets the comments, people go,
oh my god, maybe you're one of those like silent
until the inhale.

Speaker 3 (01:09:56):
What was it was he? Do you remember that old
mate a few years ago that went viral all for
his laugh? Do you remember that it was a really
funny clup. Did we talk to him? Do we interview him?

Speaker 5 (01:10:05):
I felt like we did. We talked about it.

Speaker 4 (01:10:10):
It was like, I've got a loud laugh and it
can burst, but mine's like it's like it's it's no
one's gonna be like.

Speaker 3 (01:10:20):
It's not unusual. Yeah, no, it's your standards just loud.
It's just what I don't enough people are going to
want to admit to this.

Speaker 4 (01:10:28):
So you don't have to. Don't You don't have to
do your laugh, But I'd love you as our my friend.
Kim here described her laugh as an escaped seagull. Feel
free to.

Speaker 5 (01:10:36):
Describe it to an escape seagull.

Speaker 3 (01:10:38):
I very rarely see seagulls in captivity, but you journey
it's been trapped. Okay, well maybe it's a friend as well.
You want to Dobin described their laugh. Oh wait, hundred
dance it in nine six nights. I don't know how
this is going to go. This is a niche phone
in topic. Yeah, on a great Okay, did you get

(01:11:00):
them getting some ticks? Describe to us your weird laugh?
Cam joins this, Good morning Cam guys. Has your laugh
been described as a bit unusual?

Speaker 9 (01:11:12):
Yeah, yeah, definitely catches people's attention when it when it
lets off. I've got a few different ones, but the
one that comes to mind is yeah, quite quite loud,
quite impactful. I'm a six foot two, you know, broad
shouldered male, so you know when it comes out, it
fills the room.

Speaker 3 (01:11:27):
Sorry, Haley, calm down. When you said six f two,
she got a bit excited when you see the broad shoulders.

Speaker 5 (01:11:34):
Yeah, could you give us.

Speaker 3 (01:11:36):
An example of this laugh?

Speaker 4 (01:11:38):
So, because we've I believe you may be similar to
our friend Morgan who does that.

Speaker 9 (01:11:45):
Yeah, pretty similar. There's quiet versions of that, but but
when it really when something really took us my fancy
and really sets me off, it goes a bit like this.

Speaker 4 (01:11:59):
I love it. Yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (01:12:04):
Don't care how anyone laughs. As long as someone's laughing,
it just makes me exactly. I can't be angry at
someone laughing.

Speaker 4 (01:12:09):
I also think when you have a laugh like you're
laughing Cam, and then you'll laugh to makes other people laugh,
and then you're laughing because they're laughing.

Speaker 9 (01:12:15):
It's just like I was laughing before at myself laughing.

Speaker 3 (01:12:20):
It's just a I love it so much. Seal, Oh,
that's so good. Cam, have a great weekend. Think of sharing.
It's some ticks. Messages describe laughing Shannon as well. You

(01:12:41):
were saying you tried to get some lesseners on that
had ticks through, so one of them had to go
to work, so who couldn't talk to us?

Speaker 6 (01:12:47):
Yeah, they were like, no, I don't want to chat.
Laugh like a nanny laugh yea, Haloes, it was fun.

Speaker 3 (01:12:58):
Oh that's good stuff. My husband sounds like Muttley when
he laughs. I love that.

Speaker 5 (01:13:05):
And I've got a very loud cackle.

Speaker 3 (01:13:07):
I love those. Last week you're just like you lose
just you're just like Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (01:13:13):
I love the one where it's just silence and you go.

Speaker 5 (01:13:18):
So it's also not under cell a snort all the time.
That's when you know you're having a good time.

Speaker 4 (01:13:26):
Lovely is listening right now. The our listener who messaged me,
she said, you've out of me. Haylo, you've out of me.
I can't confirm the seagull escape years ago, living your
bes Luffy welcome see you tonight, but I can't wait
to hear it dearly.

Speaker 3 (01:13:38):
I do.

Speaker 5 (01:13:40):
Don't call me, says Tiana.

Speaker 3 (01:13:42):
Yep, don't call me. Apparently my laugh is like I've
got two laughs, Jimmy Carr or SpongeBob and no one
between that SpongeBob and Jimmy Carr is that we've interviewed
Jimmy Carr a few times that real life, it's a boiled,

(01:14:06):
squealing kettle, is how I've been described. My partner sometimes
sounds like the laugh from the Christmas Carol movie where
Jim Carrey.

Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
Was was and it was the Ghost of Christmas Present.

Speaker 4 (01:14:19):
Oh wow, My nana has a really weird laugh at
snorts as well, and it's like a muppet laugh. What's
a muppet laugh?

Speaker 3 (01:14:27):
Wasn't that like all all the muppets laughed differently.

Speaker 5 (01:14:31):
That was the genuine beauty of the Muppets.

Speaker 4 (01:14:35):
O Muttley Dog the Wheeze. I love it. There's so
many muttleys, A machine gun, my girlfriend. I have a
cousin who just screams, and then we'll go and suck
the dribble back.

Speaker 5 (01:14:53):
And you must hear all of this.

Speaker 4 (01:14:56):
Yeah, I dooke, I'm hilarious. Holy Sprout tickets eight great
little plug there. I do hear laughter NonStop for one
whole hour.

Speaker 3 (01:15:05):
Browl on the brow Ye.

Speaker 1 (01:15:08):
Does that podcast network?

Speaker 4 (01:15:10):
I doctor's warning him as a fellow doctor, well trained doctor.
I tried to chose to go into entertainment.

Speaker 5 (01:15:16):
Because comedy, comedy pays better.

Speaker 4 (01:15:18):
I don't want those stinky winky surgeon wages. Give me
a gig on a Wednesday seven minutes set warning from
doctors for I guess in particular the girlies. But I
will say Liz Mills, alchows and gym. I see a
lot of boys in the shorty shorts.

Speaker 3 (01:15:33):
Oh yeah, I do. I have shorty shorts. They could
be shorter. I don't want to be shorter. I don't
want to go any shorter.

Speaker 4 (01:15:39):
Sometimes you see me like, oh damn, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:15:42):
But some yeah, some guys like the shorty shorts. They
love the shorty shorts. Some guys. Yeah. Anyway, So when
you said some guys and then you and you looked
at Vaughan and you wave no, I was going like.

Speaker 4 (01:15:53):
You know who I mean, that's a sort of gesturing
my wrist like you yeah, yeah, yeah, amongst others.

Speaker 5 (01:16:00):
Sure, they do the short shorts of the track.

Speaker 3 (01:16:02):
Of the they do.

Speaker 4 (01:16:03):
So if you're a shorty short person, maybe you are
at the gym or you're just run hot. Here is
a doctor's warning.

Speaker 3 (01:16:12):
Lately, people have been wearing really short shorts, and that's fine,
thankscept that we have all these young people coming in
with warts. And here he is out the skins, touching stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:16:26):
Get stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:16:26):
Now you know, I've shot the sony and I'll share
it again. Because I'm a woman of the people. I
get a little bit of I'll get butt permps, you know,
I get my buttony. And then I was like, oh,
you know, you got to get rid of that warts. No,
I say, the warts with the knees. I still can't
get rid of this one. But girls are like girls
in particular, sitting in their little booty shorts after the gym,
sitting on a park bench, sitting here, sitting there, meeting

(01:16:48):
up the friend of the cafe, going here and there,
and and we're getting warts.

Speaker 3 (01:16:52):
But that means somebody in the two. That means somebody
else that was sitting run their water on the surface,
but their water is also on their you know, the
their hands. They coulda sat on their hands, they could
have touched it. Oh yeah, on the they're sitting on
their legs, sitting on their foot. Oh yeah. See, this
is why I wipe down the gym equipment. You are
warts patiently. I'm wiping it down today after hearing that though,

(01:17:15):
you smear your warts everywhere. That's gross because especially when
you sit down, they ride up a little bit, so
they expose more of the upper leg.

Speaker 4 (01:17:25):
Yeah, in the bottom of the bum area. And then
you're and then you're kind of sitting on that for
a while, giving it plenty of time to latch on.

Speaker 3 (01:17:33):
Whats are a harmless skin growth caused by an infection
with the human Pamela loamavirus.

Speaker 4 (01:17:38):
That's the HPVR.

Speaker 3 (01:17:39):
Yes, yes, I can give you genital warts.

Speaker 6 (01:17:42):
So is that.

Speaker 4 (01:17:44):
Cancers?

Speaker 3 (01:17:44):
The vical cancer? If you get the vaccine yep, for av.
Do you get the get any other kind of wars
I've got.

Speaker 4 (01:17:55):
I had the virus the cervix surgery, so I had
the HPV, but then I've also got a knee.

Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
Wah me, You've got it all, don't you?

Speaker 4 (01:18:06):
What a cat?

Speaker 6 (01:18:09):
I got it?

Speaker 3 (01:18:09):
The HPV virus does not cure the HPV vaccine doesn't
cure warts all warts. See, it still gets so you
could still war. Okay, right, I mean off warts, but
just towel down. It doesn't cure existing warts, but it
will stop new infections specific train as strains of the HPV,

(01:18:30):
mostly to deal with the survival cancer. Wow. Okay, that's amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:18:34):
So we're not wart protected to prepare the jab So
when you sit down in your shorty shorts, you might
want to just like pop down your jumper first and
keep an eye out for dim warts.

Speaker 3 (01:18:44):
Yeah. I counted seventy nine all rights today, Fletcher. That's
a new personal record. Off how many of those? Did
you count? Seventy nine of those?

Speaker 6 (01:18:53):
Two?

Speaker 3 (01:18:53):
