Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the zitim podcast network.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
This is from Big Pond thanks to animes making happy
it happened for pits. Good morning, Welcome to the show,
Fleet Smawn and Haley. Oh, it's going to be a
gorgeous day over most of the country today.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
It's cold, cold years, Haley, but gorge Yeah, nice and clear.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Well for a lot of people. I think Wellington gets
the worst weather.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
But it did snow. It did snow yesterday, so that's
I still lived there. The last time at snowed in Wellington,
it was so much fun.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I remember it was twenty eleven eight and this front
just moved up the country and Auckland was like on
the Vergeah, grap is that probably got some sprinkles of snow.
Yeah yeah, we got soft Yeah. I remember the day
it snowed in Auckland.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yeah, oh good fun. Do you know it would be
nice on a cold day like this, like a nice
hot cup of milk and a cookie.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah, cookies would make today great. That made cookies.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
I don't mean like sort of at boor just like
a nice homemade I made cookies yesterday. What and they're
at home while they're not here. It's crazy that you
would make a batch of cockies, send your two friends
videos of you making said cockies and turn out with
Sarah cockies. I certainly wouldn't. Well Born would always brings

(01:19):
some stuff that he makes. Left well, there might be
some leftovers tomorrow. We'll see all these.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, what you give us Day eight cookies? You live alone?
The top Sixborn coming up. So the Patriot Games is
actually happening. When this was floated by Donald Trump and
his cabinet, people said, so it's the Hunger Games, and
they said, don't know what the Hunger Games is, but yes,

(01:49):
it's the Hunger Games. A young boy and a young
girl from each state. Okay, we'll compete in the Patriot Games. Great, Okay,
so I'll get out. So it's basically the Hunger Games.
The top six things that will happen at the Patriot
Games coming up.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
In the top six The Lovely Guy Montgomery, we love
what a success story? Spelling beback okay.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Next on the show, though, we want to talk about
a secret WhatsApp group.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
I know that is full of lotto winners. I want
to be flying on the wall. What do we discuss?
How do we get in this group? What wine are
we opening today play in flesh worn and Haley, Well,
it's come to light that there is a secret WhatsApp
group for the big lotto jackpot winners in the UK,

(02:38):
so not New Zealand. I'm sure the keywors have one
maybe do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Well, so this has all come to light because Andy
Carter spoke to the Daily Mail. He is the National
Lottery fixer and he has helped guide more than two
and a half thousand winners a total of about four
billion dollars in winnings, sorry four billion pounds the average
I looked up the average UK lottery when is about

(03:03):
forty four thousand pounds, so eighty eight thousand million New
Zealand dollars.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Forty four million is the average pounds. And they have
massive one. They can go big.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I think it says it can go up to two
hundred and something thousand pounds no million million pounds sorry
million pounds?

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Yeah great? So he what does he do? He gets
in there, he helps him.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Now he said that everybody in this WhatsApp group are
the people that have chosen publicity when they win, which
I don't know why anybody does.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
If you win.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Lotto you shove the hell up and you leave, you leave,
you disappear. Do you know the guy that's one of
the biggest ever lottery like people know his name, Edward
and Castro and twenty twenty two one two point zero
four billion US dollars in.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
A powerful jackpot. That's so.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
He took the lamp some which means it was just
under a billion before Texas one hundred money in after
text they text you in the US, they text you
lotto win.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
And they drip feed it to you or give you less.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
So if you love ye, this WhatsApp group is for
new winners who choose publicity, because if you join the
WhatsApp group, you're blowing your cover to the other people
that have won lott of jackpots. But he said, it's
a way.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
It's a really good group because this is a group
full of people that have had sudden wealth because people
aren't used to having this money, right, so.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
They can give them advice. Yeah, so there's a lot
of advice. You Like, long term friendships have been made
because people, you know, say, oh my god, what did
you feel like when you won?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Always money? Finally someone to go to the nice restaurants
work because my poor friends can't come. It's what he said.
They share holiday photos and because they're all rich as hell,
it's like no girl, there's no girl. There's like, oh
my god, look at us and our you know, private
where our private chef on a yacht or something, and
the to them are like, we get it because we're
filthy rich as well. But also there is some wholesomeness,

(05:05):
like there's a lot of photos of like they're put
on community events because they're also rich community events and
feed like homeless. That's good, it's good.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
So there is there is some good, but like how
do we get in this WhatsApp group?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
If someone if someone was a prack and they turned
into an a hole because they became an instant millionaire,
that that group would call you out. You're changing changing,
maybe your behavior is changing, Like go and do some
community work. I'm not feeding the poor.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Or like what happens like every Monday or Tuesday when
someone new comes in and they're really exciting on here
we here we go?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Johnny It, where's thin you get? Was you lose everyone
you've loved? Yeah? No, I'm not telling anyone. I might
have won it. You wouldn't even know well, you're at work,
so you didn't you would know, you would know you
didn't win that twenty mil the other day. No that
I was not part of that young couple. And there
was another one, another couple, but they skip quiet.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
No, that hadn't even been claimed. Lately, Blockhouse Bay something
and station has sold a ticket like a blockhouse.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
What are you doing? Well, they're literally probably getting up
for work being like the Daily Grind. You don't have
to anymore. Yeah, take that ticket, in mate, scan a ticket.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
The ZENM podcast network, what's going on? ZMS? Fletched Vaughn
and Haley.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
AI is getting too good and I totally get this.
I read this and was like this is terrible. Now
I'm like, wow, guess I'm going to Turkey. So people
are getting uploading their faces to AI. Yeah, to trial
run plastic surgery, which they've been have to do like

(06:50):
slight versions of it. AI is so good now that
you can go, here's my face, give me a smaller nose,
or you know, pin my ears back or give me
a little bit of whatever, give me a facelift, make
me look like that.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Do you think back in like the two thousands or
something or twenty Ten's like you had to get someone
that was real good at photoshop to totally do and
then you'd print it out on an A four and
take it into the surgeon and be like, this is
what I want my nose to be.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
So, I mean, I read a terrible article. What was it.
It was called like the ugly uglification of Perfection where
so many young people, like people in their thirties are
getting facelifts and everyone's getting the same filler in the
same place that we're all kind of looking like the
same beautiful version of our of each other, and the

(07:38):
intern it's become quite ugly, you know, because we're all
just like getting the same face. And then I was like, oh,
that's terrible and we should never. We should never, we
should embrace that. Holy shit, I've just done it to myself.
So people uploading their photos to AI, they're getting these
little nose jaws, little nip tucks and stuff. They're seeing
it and being like, oh, yeah, one hundred percent, I
do need that, and it's and it's it's putting something

(08:00):
in your head that you didn't know that was not
you were never going to do it, but now we
can see it, and we suddenly go, yeah, I like that.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
This is similar to when everybody was zooming during lockdown
and seeing their faces and then go and then and
then you know, filtering themselves.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
So they say instead of trying on a new hairstyle
or a pair of sunglasses online, which when that came
about it, we was like, oh, you could put on
a wig and it looks so bad, we can out
try on a new face. So I've done it to
my face. So I just took them like the most
I've got no makeup on today, So the most neutral,

(08:36):
kind of unflattering photo I'll show the boys. It's just
that's just my face looking up at the light right
m hm, you know, sort of a bulbous nose at
the end and you know, round face and whatnot. I've
put it into AI. And what did you ask it
to do? I see it to AI. Can you give
me some plastic surgery nose job to slim and shrink

(08:58):
the nose, a little jawline, refe fine man cheek filler
and lip for in a slight face lift. I said
it's for an experiment for radio. Because I did come
back and say this is not medical advice, Okay, I said,
shreat the nose more. I did a little bit. Shreak
the nose more and give me bigger cheekbone implants, but
make it subtle. And this is like this is the
face and you.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Look, that is the face everybody's got.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
It's me, It's it is me. Still it's you Kardashian.
But it's like there's a lift. There's the noses tweeked slightly,
the lips are filled, and suddenly you're like, there is
a there's a version of me that can look at
this and be like, I like that, isn't that weird
that I don't but like you go, well, yeah, the
noses like a little bit nice, it's so wet. And

(09:42):
then like just that took me thirty seconds. It took
me Teddy like at the end of the Teddy Swim
song to do it. And then people are going they're iready,
get disappointed because they can't afford it, or they're just
booking it and getting it done, and they're like.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Can you with that initial photo ask it what it
would recommend do that sort of thing as well?

Speaker 3 (10:04):
It probably doesn't because then it would yeah, then the
company is using using my original photo, what work? It
will say? I don't.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
I think it'll say no, would you recommend? You know,
these AI companies have ethics form.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
I think I did we do this rate us once
we tried to move GPT, tell us how hot we are?
It's a simulation. Has it told you though? Or is
it No? It said it's a hypothetical visual tool. I
do not recommend or advise any medical or cosmetic procedures

(10:42):
to explore these options. I recommend scheduling and consultation. So
it kind of does say like you, yeah, at well,
it's not stopping anyone that I can perform an analysis
of your skin quality and facial structure. But no, it's
not even half six yeah time, no, no, no, no. That

(11:04):
first photo you took yourself was great. Yeah me too,
me too. But but you're right, see how everybody looks
like that, And you can see if I steered at
this for long enough, I'd go it's nice nose, that is,
and it is actually quite subtle. It's still meg and
you just get into your head.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
The ZM podcast Network.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Play z MS flesh Worn and Haley from the unmoderated
comment section.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
This is the top six.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Well it's on my it record. Freedom two fifty dot
org celebration of the twenty twenty six Patriot Games. So
this is something that's an event happening in America. It's
been organized where from each state, yep, a boy and
a girl at high school age will be competing in
a four day national athletic competition celebrating character, determination and

(11:56):
excellent to define the American spirit. It will happen from
August ninth till August ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelve.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Four days. And what happens to them if they lose
get killed.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
The competition it's award a two hundred and fifty thousand
dollars scholarship prize pool to one female and one male competitor.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Yeah wow, Okay, so
it's the Hunger Games, but it's not.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
It is.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
At the minute.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
It was announced that drew comparisons to the Hunger Games, right,
the Suzanne Collins trilogy of books turned movies.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
The boy and girl thing is very funny, like, yeah,
one boy, one girl from each region.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
So the top six things that were happening at the
Patriot Games number six on the list. Competitors will be
drawn from a large glass ball by Elizabeth Thanks. No,
you've played drive before being dragged onto a train. No,
you've played that's maybe the odds.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Look at my fruty little Fedora.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
That's hogany.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Number five on the list of the top six things
that will happen at the Patriot Games. At the end,
you can actually this is in the fine print I
found this. You can choose between the two hundred and
fifty thousand dollars scholarship price or murder all your competitors
with no repercussions.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Feels like in America, we're not too far away from
that could happen. It's like very yeah, yeah yeah. Four.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
On the last of the top sex things that will
happen at the Patriot Games, someone will get a drunk
mentor with a heart of gold but an obviously fake
blonde wig, and on November twenty this year, we'll learn
why he's got a twenty five year alcohol dependency.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Yeah, kind of like a like a like a warm,
woody herald so character yeah yeah yeah. Top exterior gold
yeah yeah, part of gold funny as well, a little
bit funny. Yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
The tortured funny or yeah yeah yeah, yeah, tortured funny
defense mechanism number three on the list of the top
sex things that will happen at the Patriot Games. The
male competitor from the coal mining district will be smaller
than he was.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
In the book? Is he small? Was? He's like a
six foot beefcake in them in the book. Oh and
then we got a little guy, little guy, yeah, Josh Hutchison.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Yeah, little guy Peter Malark supposed to be six foot
trust me. In the last a little while I've been
I've deep dived Hunger games.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Mm hmm. I think I've seen two of them. Maybe
he's only five foot five.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Yeah, he's supposed to be six foot, like six.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Foot and burly? Five foot five?

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yes, that was how tall she?

Speaker 3 (14:29):
What's her name? Jennifer? Jennifer cool it Jennifer.

Speaker 6 (14:34):
Oh my.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Lawrence. I was doing a blank on Gina for Lawrence.
I loved Jennifer Lawrence. She gives tall. I thought she
was like my height.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
I think she's like she'd be five nine, wouldn't she.
You're get to run a quick little.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Jip, can you just j law j law law is.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Five foot nine, one seventy five minutes tall.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Wow. Okay, he was a Little Fella.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Number two of the lost of the top six things
that will happen at the Page Tree Games. As the
kids are getting ready to go on the train, somemon
will volunteers tribute and their voice or crap, they do it.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
No, this is.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
And number one of the less of the top six
things that happened at the Patriot Games. I mean, if
you've read the last book or watched the last movie,
you know what happens to the president.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
I'm not going to say it out loud. Well, you
might need to into the United States one day. I
want to say it out loud.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
YEA.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Yeah, you know we weren't a copy all this. Get
a copy of the stuff from the book, the premise
from the book, how weird good, the whole thing it
will be.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
I don't want to say that's kind of cool, but
it is kind of cool because no one's dying.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
It's just going to be like I imagine it's like
the old TV show Gladiators.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Yeah, but with my school kids in less foam it was. Yeah,
everything was made of firm and the TV show Gladiators.
That is today's upset.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
The ZN podcast Needwork Play, z MS Flesh one and Haley.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Your phone out of your hand worn sorry, Flitch, get
your get your head, get your phone away. Literally just there.
We're all just on it.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Wish friend of the show Juicy Mulligan a happy birthday,
not from me.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
I'm starting.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Last time he messaged me, he did say something nice
about you. I know that another year's pace or is he?

Speaker 3 (16:22):
I don't have beef with anyone, and I sort of
want some industry beef and I'm choosing I have to
pick beef with. But tell them, well, he knows all
the best beef places, because when it comes to beef,
Juicy Mulligan's you got. He does the food reviews. Well,
I'm not gonna miss a Russian spy for the National broadcaster.

(16:43):
Just is how you're choosing to start beef with them?
They Russians, aren't they remember they were altering the news.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Yeah, Russia, we would never know. We would never breadin,
would never would never check that our bread run Kidnes
isn't Russian. Brend does look he looks like he's.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Satellite.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
So it states it was raised in the Bay. Yeah,
under the guise of a New Zealander, but they nipped
them up from a Kazakhstan or an orphan.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
Yeah, having beef with bran or beef with juicy mother.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Guys, let's just waiting, run some background checks beef both,
all right, we've got beef. Ian to lessen carefully to
the next news ballered and to see if there's any
Russian in there.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Like it could be like a tone that only a
few people can hear, but it's feeding our brain. Yes,
kill them all meet in the cottage.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Now, you said put my phone down. That was how
we started to.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Get off your laptop, you know, just put it all down.
I'm down.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
You've got my full and undervited attention.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Now when you go home, how often, Oh you're a dad,
So if the answer is always, you're a piece of shirt,
But how often are you on your phone? I try
and not to be as much when I'm busy, it's down.
But man, when I'm relaxing, that thing's in my hand.
He heard it. He's already messaged, right, Jesse Mulligan like

(18:11):
the wrong man's brow? Is that? What he says? Is
that Russian anger though, isn't it? He's rushiing too original Russian?
It was the original Russia. Yeah, yeah, I'm not I'm not.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Does have that fleck of gray and is otherwise full
head of hair.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
That Villaini's hairs. And whenever he leaves the his work,
he always puts one of those like fur hats.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
And I'm like, got any cycles? I see you cycles?

Speaker 3 (18:38):
He's everywhere fletch. How about you when you're at home?
How often you're on your phone? Oh, it's there, It's
always close, always with an arms reach. I think that's
the thing. It's like, I don't even know how often
I'm on it, but it's always with me or yeah,
and if I realize it's not in my where's my phone?
And I'll go get it. So have your watch since
my Apple Watch? You haven't, I haven't. I haven't had

(19:00):
the money. Oh what's happening? Is not chaped? Do not chap?
Don't do it?

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Just check it everyone, just by the of your check
and swallow it.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
So sometimes I just put my phone out somewhere and
I'm like, I guess I'm not finding you.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
But you know, you can walk around and you're like, hey, Siri,
where are you?

Speaker 3 (19:28):
I'm over here.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Oh wow, that's a poor person's version on your Apple Watch.

Speaker 7 (19:34):
All right?

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Yeah, mind s ifully always on my person or around
my person. I know where it is, or if I'm
in the kitchen cooking, I'll bring it with ben put
it there even if I'm not on it. There's one
girl who she had something you can literally buy it.
You can get any version from Bloody Timur or whatever,
or just a little mini shower or a or a
dedicated hook or something. And she calls it her landline technique.
Whereas when she walks in the door, she puts it

(19:56):
in a place she's got like this little slot that's
on the wall like that, and just holds it like
a cradle so that it's always in the place where
the phone is like a landline. So if you want
to use it, you've got to go to your little
landline destination, do your phoning, put it back on the thing.
And she said, it's kind of phone time in half.
And if somebody wants to call you, you hear it

(20:18):
ringing like like like you're the landline. And if somebody
needs to reach you, yes, they can message you, and
you can go there a message. But it's the same thing.
It's like the purpose of that corner is the communication. Yeah,
And if you had that like where you leave your
keys or you had your coats up, like by your door.
It could be far away. It's I think it's not
a bad technique to try. I mean, I'll still be

(20:39):
just pulling it from the cradle that I've spent money
on and putting it back in my pocket. But she said,
for her, it's like having this dedicated spot where she's
got to go to connect with people like we had to.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
And if you're there and you're standing or it's like
a meeting, right, a standing meeting Ian's cooker than when
you're comfortable and you're sitting, you'll just comfortably scroll you
stand there, do it, you'll be more conscious of it. Yeah,
it's a bad idea.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
It's bringing the consciousness back to phone usage. I think
we should all try this. Mulligan the Russian Spider suck it.
Tell them why do you want to have a beef
with someone? I'm just in the mood for beef, and
like everyone's so nice and it'd be great for being like, oh,
do you know Hailey Sprite?

Speaker 7 (21:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Do you know her? And have like huge beef. What happened?
I don't know, man, but it's intense. It started. This
is war.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
Jessie, the ZM Podcast Network, Lay z MS, Fletch One and.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
Haley when old people were eating type pods.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
When it wasn't that young people was when they looked
into the stats of it. It was all old confused people
because they thought the kid the kids were doing it
because someone is like, you can eat them. And then
but then when they actually looked into like the poisoning centers,
that doubt were that it was all old confused people
because they do. Yeah, well we don't.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
We've got tide pods in New Zealand like Costco, some
of the pack and Saves had them, but like lots
of the New Zealand laundry brands are doing pods because
I love tide pods.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
I don't. I've got a preloaded machine.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Oh yeah, I say, you glug them up and they
just what they need. She's Posh's man. Recently, my packing
STAPs started doing tide pods, so I started getting tide
pods again, love them.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
Chuck one and Strong in the Fragrance. Strong in the Scene.
I didn't like it at the start, but it's good.
It's got a sensitive skin. I had it ruined for me.
What do you mean you've had doing some laundry. My
girlfriend said, you want me to hang out the laundry
and I said yeah, and I said, pleased. That would
be a new relationship. You got to lay down the lawn.

(22:49):
You got to let them know your expectations. I said,
they'd be lovely things. And she pulled them out. She
was carrying the basket and.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
She was like, your laundry detugents as exactly like sushi.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
And I said that would doesn't. She bought me the
basket and it's sniff and I was like, oh god,
damn it, sushi fish sushi. I used to No, it doesn't.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
It smells like now that you've been told that, you
know how you don't recognize something. You're just like, that's
nice and fresh. Yeah, this was I can smell sushi,
And now I can smell I've got like the fresh
laundry or hung on because it's inside like five packets.
I'm not like hundred, I'm not sniffing these Saint Pierre's.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Were gonna last year, so it doesn't.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
I can't now not smell sushi when I've done fresh
washing right, so that might be ruined.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
And they only do the one, the one us again.
Donat them lemon rosemary and a leavender herb and the
fresh sushi. It's just fresh sushih sushi. I don't think
they intended it to smell like sushi, but it's got they.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
I don't The old factory sense is a mystery to me.
I don't know what's in it that when it mixes
with clothes makes it smell a little bit like sushi.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
But it smells like fresh suship.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
It's not like that sushi you put in your car
and you forget about and you can get backing after
a hot.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Day, dang it. Yeah, and not the fishy sushi. Just
like a chicken rice. It smells like a combo of
fresh rice and seaweeds. Sticky. It smells like you washing in.
I haven't no, no, no, no, no no, no.

Speaker 8 (24:26):
You know me.

Speaker 9 (24:27):
You know me.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
I take washing very serious. I know you do.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
I don't leave anything in the washing machine, like as
soon as it's done.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Bing bing bing bing ban bing bing bing bing, middle
little bing bing, cringing, lily ling and ringing literally.

Speaker 9 (24:39):
Ling ling.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Ling ning meaning and ing me men lily ing, ming, ning,
ning and ing ning mean meme being ban being you've
got Samsung to you? Yeah, anyone who's got to I
am saying was automatically, just like just in the back
of their head.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
As soon as that and I'll let it play the
full song. I don't dare interrupt the song. Open the door,
get the close out. I can't leave laundry. And I
come from a long line of laundry ladies, both my
grandmothers and my mother.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Big laundry people. And I've taken so I want to
know what what's what was ruined for you? You could
say one person is saying one thing, You're like ruin, ruined, done, ruined.
I feel like the rest of my tie pods. Yeah, definitely.
Well the smells like sushi. I feel like you do

(25:42):
this when you comment on George's clothes or shoes. You
just really and then she never wears them again.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Like that time you told that person she looked like
a jet Star chicken lady just because she was.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Wearing an orange jacket. She did, she did, she did.
I asked her if the flight was on you, because
the fly she never wore it again. Then I did
the jet Star jump. Yep, she never wore it again.
Historic marketing reference, and then she never wore the orange
jacket again. Yep, it's like Georgia with their half shoes.

(26:13):
She keeps the half shoes. Yeah, yeah, shoe. You know
it can't be both. So has something been ruined for
you because someone said something? I mean, you know, Bruce
Willis was dead all along, so that ruined a movie.
But no, no, not not not off the top of
my dome. Not off the top of my dome. Okay,
well I went on hundred downs at him as our number.

(26:34):
We'd love you to text in this morning nine six
nine sex. Why is someone ruined for you?

Speaker 7 (26:40):
Now?

Speaker 3 (26:40):
What was that ruined for you?

Speaker 9 (26:43):
Morning?

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Good morning was best off.

Speaker 10 (26:47):
I just don't want to ruin parmesan cheese for anyone.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
But I once found that my cat poo and the
garden smelled really similar to parmesan cheese.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
So now every time I have that, I'm just reminded
it's going to take that to put me off cheese.
They passed the last night, and I was like, say,
when you know a half block, Yeah, yeah, it's so good,
but it's done for you. Now it's an immediate connotation.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
Look, I still love cheese, cheese, but it just it
does remind me.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Of that smell. It's quite a pungent smell, isn't it.
It's a bit much cheese mouth. A favorite. Oh, probably
a mild blue couple creamy, a double creepy Canon beer. Yeah,

(27:40):
I go for just normal. Can be when you can double,
when you can go double creamy, I'm looking. Yeah, recently
a nice nutty mile Thank you mal with your catship parmesan.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
On top of that, she said, I ordered a cocktail
when my partner and I are out for dinner. I
really like the taste of it. I said, you've got
to try this. He went, taste like a strip sel,
ruined it done.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Okay, I would have a strip seal, have a robotussin
cocktail vexed Formula forty four.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
I don't find the GRONI is very cough medicine, but
I don't hate it. What made you a bee's knees?

Speaker 3 (28:30):
I don't know what's in it?

Speaker 2 (28:32):
Gin honey syrup and lemon juice fresh lemon juice. No,
I don't believe it's a lemon honey strips.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
And it'll absolutely tickle your turts because predominantly gin correct delicious.
We're mixing in too much. What I agree, like predominantly
gin should be good. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (28:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Purgeons and nurses put out blue baby bands going on
for Caesar when they didn't know the sex of the
baby yet. His parents all right, so they put out
the little blue bands that indicated for a boy. Yeap,
and we were they ruined the gender surprise. Okay, yeah,
someone said it's a I didn't know this. It's it's

(29:15):
a fact. If you have ADHD. Yeah, and you're looking
forward to doing a task, locking in a hyper fos
task and then someone tells you to do it strips
the joy, strips the joy in a minute doing the task.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Yeah, can you do that? I don't really looking for
to me, no, don't now, I'm not going to enjoy
with this. Now you do it.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
I love loved the past tense caesar salad until my
sister said, oh no, I don't need that because of
the anchovies. I said, there's no anchovies and severs a salad.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
I didn't.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
It turned out the dressing does use a heavy hand
of anchovy.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
But you love the task. That's a mental Yeah, that's
a mental It's a mental thing you've got there. That's
a mental we've all got one of those, but you've
got a mental thing.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
After a chat about crazy places to do the deed,
Dad told the whole family about the time he and
mother did it on the kitchen table.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
Dinners were ruined, dead dead yuck. You've got to get
a new kitchen table. I mean, good on you.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
You've got a spray and wipe. That's going to be
a big spray night.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
It needs more than a spray and wipe, maybe a
sand down and revarns. I think it's a sand down in.

Speaker 11 (30:20):
A re.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
Imagine if you sand it down. And like then Mum
was so horny from seeing Dad sand down the table.
She wanted again.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
And then.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
At big saving get a new table, get yourself a table,
chop it for wood. Someone at work pointed out that
one of our colleagues looks like a Lego minifig. And
now I really struggle to have a serious conversation with
her because every time I look at her, I'm just
like she is a legal person.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
Oh yes, all, I pointing out this someone looks like
an animal. And then you just can't only see the edible. Yeah, yes,
can you pull up a but a noah, calm flitch
someone saying, so I'll come back to it. You tell me,
you know, okay, Roger that oh I love it.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
I love a lemon cello. But someone told me it
tasted like strip sels. That's ruined it for me.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
That's tastes like strips.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
Yeah, um oh, a bit of a negative one here,
Sorry for bringing the mood down. My ex asked me
if I was tone deref I was singing to a
one and a half year old at bed time. Ruined
that magical daily bondy moment with my son that I.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
Used to really enjoy. Because you sing one, you sing
single actual an it's an actually you're like you know
people who can't a bad sing, isn't it? You're tone deaf. No,
tone deaf is an actual physical ailments. You can't hear
a tone. And if you were toned, if you'd be
able to hear it when you talk, you wouldn't talk
in the way that we talk in a rhythm like

(31:44):
this promised me.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Listen, you must have heard.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Your shelf change.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
That's got a last because the singers singing styles like
I've heard him in concert and he's plane on the plane.

(32:13):
That was a strong one. That no, but when he speaks.
When he's not singing, he doesn't have a list listen boom,
but no, no, have you ruined that plane? I love Noah.
I know it's a great album. Nicole Partner's name. Actually,
we're going to need it. Cole publicly blame some I

(32:35):
still like it. Get it.

Speaker 9 (32:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
I worked in a shoe store and when people would
take off their shoes, it would stink. And then the
first time I went to have blue cheese, I was like,
where do I know that smell from?

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Yeah, and then you've got to buy a new shoes,
but you're in your old smelly man. So how do
you get to the shoe shop without smelly feet? You needed?
I don't know, will give them a hot wash.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
I was thirty one years old at one of my
younger staff members twenty first then a young man said
to me, goodness me, and your teeth are very small.
I liked my teeth until that night. Now, every time
I brushed my teeth, I'm like, that's so small, so small.
And also you've lit that person live inside your head.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
Yeah totally. Yeah, says that to another person. Yeah, a
weird looking and you're like, oh my god, my no.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Someone once told me that if you isolate Owen Wilson's nose,
it looks like a penis that's ruined every Owen Wilson.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
It's a bit like jagged his head. Yeah that's a deck.
That's a deck on the face. That's a deck. That's
the turp I'm going to have that. He's got a head.
Oh yeah, that's a deck on He's got a deck,
lie on deck. I didn't mind blood tests until I
found out they were just taking blood from my body.
The leeder looks like it's fully pointing at you. You're

(33:58):
familiar with that head. It almost SEMs like a little
hole at the end. Blood. Sorry, blood, But I didn't
mind blood tests because I thought they were just sucking
blood out of your body till I found it.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
It actually perforates the vein. The needles sharp because it
needs to go through the wall of the vein. And
that's a big fat What did you think happened?

Speaker 3 (34:19):
I don't think about it too much. I can't eat pork.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Anymore because I attended a scene with a Burns victim
and it smelled like roast.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Pork for me. I just like would have given that
one such a hard scap. You've done that. I won't
have pork ruined for me. I've got pet pegs and
I can still let porks. What did you do with
your big peg? Did you burn the buried? And remember
I was.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
Always with water and I had things. You've got a
terrible day. I decided we're going to take them to
barl And that's the day I broke.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Yeah, I broke.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
That was the day that I was just like, I
was like, I'll do this. I'll dig this whole big
enough for the two of us.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
Jesus.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
Patty Gower ruined peptides for me last night. You know
what good do you watch that?

Speaker 3 (35:05):
I need to That was a watch. Yeah, it didn't
put me off. That Wolverine one, the Healing, the Recovery one.
It put me off ordering it off some Chinese factory
on WhatsApp. Yes, if you could get hands on that wolverine.
The future of them is pretty exciting approve.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
I used to get brawn from the supermarket deli and
have it on fresh bed. Mom told me it had
pigs brains in it. It turns out that's real put
me off and I was like that that was that's
actually ruined.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
Yeah, umm.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
I recently found out that many farmed prawns have their
eye storks removed to make them reach sexual maturity faster
and reproduce more quickly. That I can't bring us out
to eat prawns anymore.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Oh, we love a prawn.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
At least if I'm taking the ice stalks off, it's
going to save you doing it. Yeah, looking at you
on the barbecue legit.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
I don't know, because pros are tiny.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
If you're like, all right, let's get you nice and
juicy and plunk like a pluck pluck, that's so tiny
it would be hard to do that.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
I don't know. I'm going to personally keep eating prawns.
I probably keep hitting some tiger pawns.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
Flitch and Haley, big Pod.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
We're not the only one starting beef. I've started beef today.
Guy who were juicy? Mulligan? What his birthday? What's the
beef about? I'm not sure. I'm just trying to find it.
Everyone in an industry, entertainment industry. I don't know if
you find this too nice?

Speaker 12 (36:36):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I gotta say Mulligan's I've been
listening to him on arians and I think it's a broadcasters.
He's on the app. I genuinely think that he's doing
a great job on the show.

Speaker 13 (36:47):
Don't come on, then's for Russian Russian's. Holy moly, you
guys are doing it all.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Yeah, I know. Now, go Montgomery you We love having
you in the studio. Oh man, I love being in
the studio. Yeah. And there's devastating because so much of
the year I'm not in the studio.

Speaker 12 (37:08):
But then, you know, once every twelve months I get
five minutes with you guys, and it's just heaven on Earth,
you know what.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
I'm devastated to miss the g and Bradley married section
around Primo Primo tour. I'm going to promote another I'm
going to go to a different radio station after this.
We've got beef with all of them, I know. Yeah,
now you're here to talk about Montgomery's Guymont's Spelling Bee

(37:34):
third season. Yes, really, because you've been doing it in
Australia as well, so this would be like you personally
have done like six seasons.

Speaker 14 (37:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
Yeah, there are six seasons of the show, but only
three of them.

Speaker 12 (37:46):
It is de sorienting to have an identically titled show
with an identical host running in two countries simultaneously.

Speaker 3 (37:52):
Yes, but no.

Speaker 12 (37:53):
So this is the third version of the New Zealand season.
This is the OG, this is this is my baby
I was on.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
No, this is not the OG. Actually the OG is
your Zoom Lockdown. Oh yes, people just joining the show. Guys. Here,
he's a gift. He's not on the show. This has
switch for in Haley guy back in Lockdown started as
Zoom spelling Bee. Yeah, I did. I started it because I, yeah,
I had no work and I was feeling pretty sad.

Speaker 12 (38:20):
And I started doing these online because people doing online
pub quizzs and whatnot, and I thought that's almost something
I'd like to do, and so I did and I didn't.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
The first one was ring Fence. It wasn't even online.

Speaker 12 (38:31):
It was just a private, little like spelling Bee for friends,
sort of as an experience. I was like, this is
pretty funny. So the next one I did on YouTube,
and they did some more on YouTube, and then we
were allowed out of the house and I did some
in a little theater and then I thought this could
be a television show. And then I was right, yes,
and so and then now I'm in the studio with
you guys, and this is the third season, but you
were You're on the very first, it's one and two.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
You were the first champion we had, champion you had,
and it was it's like, it's just the most aren't
I mean, as I just doing the show, I guess
people that watch it can't get to do it. But
like doing the show, it's one of the funnest jobs.

Speaker 12 (39:07):
Oh yeah, well that was the dream because I think,
you know, I've done different comedy formats and whatnot on television,
and there's.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
Always an element of like steaming pul Yeah.

Speaker 12 (39:16):
Yeah, there was some hostage is so professional, and then
also like the resident guests were incredibly rude behind the scenes.
They would accuse all of the guest guests of being communists.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
But no, so I think what I love.

Speaker 12 (39:31):
I wanted to set a platform where it's like you
genuinely just show up as you are and you have
to trust the show and respond to what's happening. And
so that's what I tried to build with Spelling. But
it's the same thing they do on Taskmaster and that
first season we did in New Zealand. I remember I
wrote it with Joseph Moore and I was like, oh man,
this is.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
You know, we did it.

Speaker 12 (39:46):
We're really proud of it. I thought, I don't know
how much more creative we can get with spelling. I
felt like we'd emptied the chamber. There's only so many words.
There's only so many words, there's only so many circuitis routes.
You can get to making people's spell words for entertainments
and then you know, many Susans later this season. Next year,
I had Abbie Howell's and Rhys Mathewson were the writers.
I just had a baby at the time and so

(40:07):
they sort of they helped. Yeah, thank you so much. Well,
you know, and there's so much pressure on young fathers,
but I what can I say?

Speaker 3 (40:16):
I found a way.

Speaker 12 (40:24):
But it's like, I'm so proud of the season. I
think it's so funny, and the guests have been unbelievable.
We were lucky enough to get Dame Linda top on
the show, Britt mackenzie first Oscar winner in the spelling studio,
top Finger you know Medal, and Sami Lidge, a legend
of industry, young comedians, Henry yan Any Gau, Johanna Cosgrove.

(40:46):
So I was like, this is going to be great,
and we filmed it in November last year. If you
can believe that and.

Speaker 3 (40:52):
It's coming out, can you so bloody long? Man? I
gotta I gotta tell you.

Speaker 12 (40:55):
When we filmed it, I was like, this feels like,
you know, this is quite soon, having just had a
baby and I'm not feeling super great about my body,
and they said, this is the wind.

Speaker 3 (41:05):
It has to be filmed now.

Speaker 12 (41:06):
And then for whatever reason, we filmed it and got
edited up and they said we're gonna sit on that
until August.

Speaker 3 (41:12):
Frustrating the way the English language evolves so fast. Any
of those words become slurs in that time.

Speaker 12 (41:17):
No, No, if anything, we put some slurs in and
the hope they'll be back on the menu by the
time they're shown up.

Speaker 3 (41:23):
Sadly, no, I'm really worried about that. If it's coming out.
Do you prefer I mean you probably have to say
New Zealand, but do you prefer doing it in New
Zealand or Australia.

Speaker 12 (41:33):
I prefer doing it. I prefer doing it in Australia
to be completely honest. So there's there's a bigger budget
and a bigger studio. I love doing New Zealand because
it's like I'm closer friends with the comedians, so there's
a more personal element.

Speaker 3 (41:45):
To like needling them and being like, yeah, suck on this.
I know exactly what annoys you, but you know it's
I mean to be honest, we're little. It's a little country.

Speaker 12 (41:54):
I don't believe would be able to make it anywhere,
and so I'm excited to see this because I've not
read is that since we made it.

Speaker 3 (42:00):
I'm excited to see what we were doing. Oh you're
really good. You forgot god on it.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
Australia has really welcomed you, haven't they. They really is
alarming at yeah, yeah, I.

Speaker 12 (42:10):
Think well they're probably also colors the responses like yeah
they have it's the show is great. It does well here,
but in Australia they've embraced it in a way which
I hadn't, And I was like, this is crazy.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
Yeah. Border security agents talked to me on the way
and being like we love the show mate, and I'm like,
this is crazy. You goes are so hostile nearly every
other time. Yeah, you my little and you love the
show about spelling and now you can get in carnons
of cigarettes and not even stopping you. That's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
and I can traffic my communist I've got some ties

(42:41):
I need to get into Australia, so if you get
a little bit of a free pass. Oh well, it's
so much fun to do, honestly, and it's an absolute
joy to watch and a joy guy to watch your
star rise here and overseas. It's so well deserved. You're
very funny and delightful and honestly the picture your Australian

(43:02):
co host for the first Aaron Chin's like doing Hollywood
bloody movies.

Speaker 5 (43:05):
Now yeah, yeah, obviously the spelling be launched from just
start him no, so he he was he was like,
he's the most dedicated craftsman of stand up in the world,
and so he moved to America a few the second
season we did in Australia, he was already living in
New York so he'd come back to do it right
and then he's he's you know, he's got a Netflix
special Funny Guarden.

Speaker 12 (43:25):
He was in The Dink with Jack Johnson, which is
the new Apple movie Apple TV movie but Pickleballs, so
he's like, yeah, he's on another let He's like, he's amazing.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
And Joseph Moore, who write season one Now, writes for
CNL UK.

Speaker 12 (43:38):
Yeah, but I mean you notice none of these guys
get to do like they don't get to the radio
round like, yeah, it's.

Speaker 3 (43:43):
Hard not to know all that they've accomplished. They're not
sitting down with.

Speaker 9 (43:48):
Haley.

Speaker 6 (43:49):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
I'm home to deal with the possible handfut in mouthcase
with the baby.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
Oh look, you know the hands and the feet in
the mouth through the main parts of the baby. Something's
going to go right, Okay, win, can people watch tomorrow?

Speaker 8 (44:03):
So there's Spelling Team Thursday August sixth, seven thirty pm
on three and I think in the morning on three
now if you're absolutely dying to get it in your
and then there's eight episodes so weekly.

Speaker 3 (44:14):
How good guy, you roll very thanks for having me.
Good luck on the tour. Guys. So you've got a
venue upgrade in christ Church. Yeah, congrats, thank you. We're
big deal. Monte you are.

Speaker 12 (44:25):
You're gonna want to end if you're in Wellington on
the ninth of October, you're gonna want to get those
tickets fast because those ones are almost still gone.

Speaker 4 (44:32):
And good man, the Zity podcast needwork, zim Splitch one
and Hailey Finley, silly little poll.

Speaker 15 (44:44):
It is so silly, silly, silly, that silly little selling spot,
silly little pod.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
Wow, we're prefaced by saying only answer, if you have children,
do you regret having kids? The options. Now, this is
because a woman said so.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
That she's thirty six years old. I'm thirty six years old,
and she was asking people. She has been on the fence,
leaning towards not and so she asked online hundreds of
mothers do you regret having kids? And some of the
responses I was like, holy shit. One of them, one
of them that stood out for me was like, I

(45:31):
you know, they bring me a joy I've never known
like they are my entire wooden existence, the proudest thing
I've ever done. Don't do it, don't do it, don't
do it. I guess it's just because she's because this
woman who's asking is on the fence.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
So if you're on the she's saying, if you're on
the fence, if you're on the.

Speaker 3 (45:46):
Fence, don't do it, because it's the hardest job in
the world, and so you're better to if you're on
the fence, you're better to to not do it and
regret that. Then have them and regret it. Yeah, But
so many of the comments were like, Jesus, you may
regret having children, you may regret remaining child free, which regret?

(46:08):
Are you more comfortable living with That's such a good question,
That is a really good question. So our opestions were yes,
I think about this often, I have thought about this occasionally,
or no, never. When in regards to do you regret
having kids, sixty eight percent of people said no, never,
I've never regretted having kids now. The second most popular
at twenty eight percent, was I have thought this occasionally

(46:30):
twenty eight percent. I love the honesty.

Speaker 7 (46:33):
Love.

Speaker 2 (46:33):
Four percent of people said yes, I think this often.

Speaker 3 (46:37):
Thank you for your responses, And the responses were, like
all the people that have regretted it, I have triplet
three year old boys. Hell, yes at the moment, yeah,
in the moment, right, Yeah, Michael. If you'd have asked
me during the first three to six months of either
of their lives, it may have been a different answer.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
But now that they're older, it's absolutely no regrets. So
hard to start, very hard, it's very hard. I love
my kids more than anything, but would like a weekend
away with the wife one day. Yeah, Fletcher look after them,
was taking them away. He's taking out a step in
his apartment. There's nothing for a kid to fall off anymore.
Flitchers away with no worries away with Yeah, I don't. Yeah,

(47:20):
this is why I go away.

Speaker 3 (47:21):
I'm going away, Kaylie said, I regret who I had
kids with, Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, But that's different again,
isn't it. Yeah, that's a different that's a solidtle pole
in itself. Yeah, Natalie said, I said, yes, I do,
but I also know I would have never not had them.

(47:41):
If that, mate, totally, I get there. You can regret
it and love them and do a good job still, right, Anonymous, Please,
I don't regret having them more that I regret the
timing and the things that we didn't tick off before
we had them. True, But then if you have kids younger,
then you've got more time on the other side. Well,

(48:03):
that's the idea. That's the idea, especially like for women
now seeing forties and fifties as like a great time
in our lives, not like the end of our lives. Yeah,
getting it done in your.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
Parents, we'd moved out. My parents were child free by
the time they turned fifty. Like that's pretty wide. Yeah,
fifty and their kids and they were like empty nesters
at fifty and they've lived so now now you're going
to have kids and they're going to probably live with
you till you die. Good luck with that, yeah, would
have way.

Speaker 3 (48:32):
Yeah, well you want part from the wet towels on
the floor, could we pick them up? Please? Are your
girls double towels as well? Because they've got the hair,
they've got the hair turb and things. Yeah, they generally
get put on the back of a chair or something
which does have a slight driving bringing back hidings. They'll
hang the towns up pretty quickly. Party is actually sort
of tossing this around just for teachers, though not pars.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
Sometimes it gets so if and stressful, says Emma. Imagine
life on my own, no mess, no fighting.

Speaker 3 (49:02):
Weekends would be free, I'd sleep in later every day,
I wouldn't be broke, my boobs would be so big,
and I'd have no back pain vent over. I love
my children, yes, of course, Yeah, just describing our lives there. Yeah, yeah,
I've got juicy honkers. Would Yeah, it's a so juicy decision. Never,

(49:22):
they make my life so much happier and give me
purpose less love. Nice Maybee should have finished on that one.
But just regret about lives hand on heart, I can
say that ruined our lives. It built resentment between us.
Holy wow, that's tight. I love them so much, but shit,
I didn't know it would be this hard and my
career has gone down the drain. Oh yeah, that's the thing.

(49:44):
It's not it's like you don't not love them. Of
course you love them, but you can also say you
ruin my life today, selling little pole, do you regret
having kids? Four percent of you think about it often?

Speaker 1 (49:57):
The fletch hag odd.

Speaker 3 (50:01):
Now, this is going to be a little silly, a
little tongue in cheek here, because a couple of people
actually have called me out on exhibiting sort of extra
lesbian behaviors this week. Oh it's a lesbian tendencies definitely. Wait,
this is going to be very stereotypical. It's going to
be very stereotypical. That's what I mean. Tongue in cheek here,

(50:23):
because I don't know what it is this week. Maybe
it's the cold or something like that, but I've been
wearing pants and a friend of mine says, I've never
seen you wear pants you know me, I don't wear pants,
its dressed skirts all the time. And I've been walking
the same pair of pants and often like an oversized
shirt and a blazer and a cap because my hair
is such an eye hurtenviment. It's due to be done.

(50:45):
And my friend, who was a lesbian, messaged me and said,
you have literally never looked gayer in your life. And
I thought, oh, thank you. She's allowed to say that
she's a lesbian. She's allowed to say it. She's going gay.
I think she's gold star. Yeah, I've never won, never
why would you? Sometimes? Anyway, she said to me, you've

(51:06):
never looked to go in your life as you do
right now, And thank you. And I did get home
yesterday wearing my Men's Dickies shirt and my little sort
of neckerchief in my cap and I thought, yeah, it's
pretty gay. And then did we talk about this on
error on the podcast? When I was loading my skip
and I had a trading around and I was loading
my skip and I hit my little cap on and
stuff and my work boots and I was hauling all
the ship and he kept talking to me, and I

(51:28):
noticed about halfway through that he kept using gender neutral
ways to describe I was worth or a partner or
something like that. He didn't want to put his foot
in it. He as very progressive. Well, I said, you know,
he was asking about the main house and stuff I
said on my ex and I you know, and then
oh yeah, and and they so did and then you know,

(51:49):
talking about new things, and they I was like, he's
not sure if I'm gay or not. They thought you
were lesbian. He's not sure if I'm with a man
or a woman or whoever. And as you just felt
like a very gay week for me. And so I
want to ask, in the most stereotypical, silly little way,
what is the gayest thing you've done this week? We

(52:10):
just recently recently that you just caught yourself and went,
that's pretty stereotypical. I can see how I fit into
that box. That was pretty gay. Sneeze. Yeah, there was
big dad energy that.

Speaker 2 (52:25):
The Warriors last week to stop calling them good boy
and that's my boy when they were. My daughter's like,
just that's pretty boys.

Speaker 3 (52:33):
Yeah, I love that good boy, good boy, good boy
someone message. And just now, the gayest thing I've done
this week is listened to Zid very well. You started yeah,
the voice piece. Maybe it was just a little something,
maybe someone's called you out, or a little behavior that
you thought, oh yeah, why not.

Speaker 2 (52:53):
Maybe you got head on like wow, you take the
compliment exactly, love that. Okay, So we're getting some messages
A nine six nine six studio obviously very tongue in
shap even if you are gay, even if you've caught
yourself being like that was gay. Gayerson, I can see

(53:15):
that apple is gay.

Speaker 3 (53:16):
We're celebrating the gayest thing you've done recently. Also, the
lesbians are here, Good morning to them. They are good morning, Laura. Hi,
Hi Laura. Now, Laura, are you in fact homosexual or
is this just something that you've noticed about yourself. No,

(53:37):
I am actually recently left my husband and came out
as gay.

Speaker 2 (53:40):
So right, congratulations, she's fresh fresh, thank you, fresh out
of the oven. Monarch butterfly.

Speaker 3 (53:47):
Yeah, beatiful. What's the gayest thing you've done recently?

Speaker 6 (53:53):
Well?

Speaker 3 (53:53):
I keep my work card on a chain on my pants,
and I also keep my keyth on a carabiner.

Speaker 2 (54:01):
Took when you were Was this something you just donald
you're doing this when you were married to a man.

Speaker 1 (54:07):
No, I've been doing this for years realize the signs
the wait.

Speaker 3 (54:13):
Straight people not do keys on carabineers. Straight woman, Yeah,
on hand producer Shannon's keys. It's an absolute yeah, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
But all sorts the well, we're not the well or
a nice carabiner of a lesbian.

Speaker 3 (54:29):
Laura, thank you, and can't that's Laura waiting Laura about Laura.
Are you like currently seeing someone because we've had another
lesbian message and saying they love carabiners. Now that's him
set us up. That would be great, Okay, great, I'll
take care of that.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
What if the other one's got a nicer carabiner? Yeah, like,
do you get do you go to the outdoor store
like a bit.

Speaker 3 (54:55):
A whack or something.

Speaker 12 (54:57):
It's gonna gave it funning funny.

Speaker 3 (55:00):
Yeah, that's gad.

Speaker 2 (55:01):
We're a load I want a load bearing carabin one
of those decorative ones that.

Speaker 3 (55:06):
Will be you want to go to an outdoor store
if a proper one, yeah, well she's not hanging off
a well. She suld be for other gay purposes as well.
Bunning's is a one stop go sho. Love that, thank you, Laura. Helen,
good morning, good morning. What's the gayest thing that you've done,
you've done recently, Helen.

Speaker 11 (55:25):
Basically just walking around their their householding hands with my
wife because we're sick.

Speaker 3 (55:31):
Oh, because they're upsets or obsessed with each other. How
long have you guys been together? Two weeks or.

Speaker 9 (55:42):
Over five years?

Speaker 3 (55:43):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (55:45):
And lesbian years together are like dog years together.

Speaker 3 (55:48):
That's actually times by a second, it by one hundred,
get it, Helen, because like mena lovely right as a
woman that enjoys both. But they they wear thin, whereas
women I can be around fourty, we do they just
you were so thin five years in you're not holding
hands with them around the house, whereas women you're like,

(56:09):
you're still so.

Speaker 14 (56:10):
Enjoyable, absolutely enjoyable.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
Oh, Helen.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
Cars in the driveway, Helen, We've got two.

Speaker 3 (56:21):
I love, thank you. Helen's the messages in well, the
car things we mentioned a number of times, hasn't it Subaru? Yeah,
I really missed driving my Subarro outback. I dream of it.
It's just such a practical car. Yeah, from a lesbian. Yeah,
anonymous is called an anonymous good morning, good morning. Now,
what is the gayest thing you've done recently?

Speaker 11 (56:45):
Asked my girlfriend to my girlfriend in the place that
we met, which was Family Bar.

Speaker 3 (56:52):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that is the epicenter of homosexuality, isn't it.
Yeah We've got girls girl and then girl asking girl
to be girlfriend. It's second in the gayest bar in
New Zealand. What did she say?

Speaker 9 (57:03):
Exactly?

Speaker 3 (57:08):
Fantastic, So well, happy anniversary. What was the what was
the like the impetus while in Family Bar? If you
don't know it, it's a bar on k Road in
Auckland and it's it's the game. Hailey left there once
at four in the morning. That was g a wy.
Next was what what was it about the mood and
Family Bar that took you?

Speaker 9 (57:31):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (57:33):
Probably just game there is Can we get a quick
checking on ymous? What cars in the driveway at the
time of this happening?

Speaker 8 (57:45):
It was genuinely.

Speaker 3 (57:48):
It was Yeah. It was really missing a trick, not
just straight up saying yeah, doctor Shawney has got a
super Do you think he's a lesbian? I think he's
a little bit gay lesbian at heart. We're not trying
to stereotype people old people, but you're doing it to yourself.
Thank you. It's a message. Is that the gayest thing
I've done this week?

Speaker 2 (58:08):
I went shopping and asked for tiles and they were like, oh, yeah,
these ones, and they're like, no, I can have some
little patent ones. As the words came out of my mouth,
I thought, yeah, yeah, little patent on.

Speaker 3 (58:19):
The gayest thing I've done is me and my girlfriend
of eight months made vision boards of our future.

Speaker 2 (58:25):
Okay, that's so yeah a lot. I've been rocking really
baggy jeans and timberlands. I'm a straight primary school female teacher,
but I have had some. You know you're going to
get some Yeah there, Yeah, you're going to get some numbers.
I watched Tate McCrae before Matt lalapaloosa unreal scenes and

(58:48):
generally made me question my sexuality.

Speaker 3 (58:50):
Can you please say lollapaloosa. It's not lullabipaloosa. You say lala.
You've always saying la la, it's l o I all a.
Apparently pooh losers, you pooh loser. Apparently Subaru did do
a lesbian marketing campaign years ago. Did they should have?

(59:15):
My husband said, when I went to Bunnings, I went
in a vest and how very gay of me? And
all I needed was the carabeana to finish the look.

Speaker 8 (59:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
Okay, As the puffer vest. Wait, I wore a puff
of this today. Am I lesbian? Lesbians to lesbians with puffer?

Speaker 3 (59:31):
This list of a very cold of course I'm going
to wear my got another list in here.

Speaker 2 (59:37):
My girlfriend went away and we both missed each other
a lot. She was gone for two days. We also,
you hauled was in three weeks when we met. Now
you haul that's sort of based off American lesbians, trailers,
trailers and moving straight away.

Speaker 11 (59:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (59:53):
I got a.

Speaker 2 (59:54):
Haircut, clean shaved my beard, and trimmed my pubs my aunt.
My wife asked as preopn for a night album.

Speaker 3 (59:59):
Gay Boy, a little bit of heterosexual groom.

Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
Came home from a woman's sensual dance class and I
was telling my husband how bootylicious the woman's butt was
in front of me.

Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
I think he quite liked hearing me someone say the
gamest thing I've done recently, I've started wearing sports bras
so much more comfort. Yeah, strap him down, Yeah great.

Speaker 6 (01:00:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:00:22):
I got into a conversation of the eurine all the
bloke completely forgot about taking a leak and just stood
there with my junk out talking to him, holding it,
holding it. Yeah, I've got a seventy a sixty five
kg bull mastiff, and I had no idea.

Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
All these women were coming up and talking to me,
and I was just like, this is interesting. It turns
out everyone thinks I'm a lesbian with a massive bull mask.

Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
Yeah, gives me a huge lesbian energies, like a lesbian magnet, right, Okay,
I love big MutS and I cannot lie the brilliant Okay,
I'm considering a standalone carabiner for no reason except that
are handy when you need to loop some things on.
Is this a message that's in from a lesbian? I

(01:01:08):
think I had just magnetically drawn to a carabiner. Yeah. Yeah,
I'm a straight female, but I just got an undercut.
Oh yeah. I dressed up as Missus trunch Bull from
Matilda for school book character. They lesbian energy for this.
She was repressing. It wasn't she She wasn't enjoying, and

(01:01:30):
had she enjoyed it, she would never have swung that
child around by the pigtails and made boot Bruce Bog
try to eat the tire trouble. No, she would have
been happy knowing being who she was.

Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
Yeah, play is there? Ems fletched Vaughn and Hailey.

Speaker 6 (01:01:44):
Of the day day day day Dayah do do do
do do do do do do do do do do
do do do do do do do do do doo.

Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
This week here affected the day, I'm calling it nerd
word Nerd Week. We're learning about words that have categories
and stuff that you might not know about. Retronomes we
learned about yesterday, retronyms, where like, until there was an
electric guitar, there was no such thing as an acoustic guitar.

Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
It was just called a guitar tar. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
And the landline that was just your phone until there
were various sorts of phones and you had to specify it.
Today we're learning about hapax Legamma, what hapax legamina?

Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
You idiot? Yeah, well, why don't you explain it to me?
That's not my segment. Well, it's it. I'll clock out
because I know. It was a term coined by Homeric
scholars and Alexandria Homer of course Fletch he wrote the
Odyssey There is good Agx spraying wine, Yes, yeah, and

(01:02:57):
said dope.

Speaker 2 (01:02:58):
They poured over the elliot and honestly looking for a
rare and unusual words, and so basically a hapax legamma
is a word that only appears once in a body
of work. Oh okay, and it never appears in it. Now,
Shakespeare is the big dog for this one. He Shakespeare's
There's roughly six and a half thousand words that appear

(01:03:19):
only once across the whole of Shakespeare's work, Perking.

Speaker 3 (01:03:25):
Perking's only once.

Speaker 2 (01:03:27):
Turns up as you like it, and nowhere else in
Shakespeare's work. It's the first recruited use of the word
in English, because you know how Shakespeare has mainted so
many words Perking's. Also, if we could hark back to
it earlier in the week about the words that didn't
make the sound like an ideo phone, it kind of
sums up the vibe more than.

Speaker 3 (01:03:47):
The did he use it? Did he invent it? And
that's what he meant? Use it? Like sealing to vomit? Yeh?
Did we debate this as as friends or did I
have this conversation with someone else? Is puke puke once
it comes out? Or is puke? Or are you constantly
just full of puke and it's only it only become
puke once it's puked? Very good question? Or are we

(01:04:10):
is it puke inside of us? Or is that just
food and stomach? But we poo? Are we? Is poo
poo once it's pooped or poo just fory full of
poo and poo once it leaves the stomach and enters
the digestive track, I think. And where's we one that
leaves the kidneys? So puke would yeah, because it's not

(01:04:31):
really stored anywhere.

Speaker 11 (01:04:32):
Is it.

Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Well, it's in the stomach if it's going to get
that's at that part. It is still teaching chips chips
while they're in a potato or before they go in
the fryer. No, no, no, they're not until they're in
the shape of chips. The moment you cut the potato
into the chip. Is it chips a chip cooked or not?

Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
But it's not a chip when it's not cooked. It's
just it's a rectangle potato potatoes. That's a chip. That's
a shape of puke.

Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
I would happily all day when things become things, okay, happily,
when does puke come po I mean, it's just there's
so many stages from yeah, yeah, I think puke has
the lead, and puke's also a verb yeah to puke.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
Well, puking was one of the ones that was only
used once in the Mid Summer's Night's Dream, despite the
whole play practically being about the woodland creatures. The Sata
Sata satter I don't know the goat things sat wire
only used once in the entire story of it.

Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
It's not surprising now much more to say about them.

Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
So it's not really the word that is it, But
it's about the satire satur being through the entire thing.
To only use it once, it's crazy, Yeah, true. It
would be like writing about the Smurfs, but only at
the very start establishing that there are smurfs, and then
never against a smurf.

Speaker 3 (01:05:56):
We should choose a word that we say now that
won't get said again on the show, on the show
impossible on the rest of the radio show today. M hippopotamus.
That's a good one.

Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
Well that you know now, Carl is going to say it.
A call is going to get on here and say
if they can, They're going to tell you.

Speaker 3 (01:06:18):
Whatever that can.

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
They're going to hipopotamus almost prizeworthy you almost.

Speaker 3 (01:06:24):
You've already said it, Ah, ship idiot, where's my price?
You're not getting a prize? You work here? A populated
how that it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
Was there's a story about them, and he only mentions
it once in a mid cinema Summer Night's Train. There's
a real one on reflect billet to doubly out tang.
It appears on It's a Love Labor's Last.

Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
The Bible's got a whole lot of them. Old stories
have a whole lot of them. At Hapax ligamentium basically
translates to a thing said once from ancient Greek, So
today's back to today. A new and word nerd word
word nerd nerd.

Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
Word as hap ax like demeanor refers to a word
something used once in an entire works.

Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Fact of the day, day Day, day day.

Speaker 4 (01:07:14):
Yeah, that M podcast Network play z m's Flesh one
and Haley.

Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
Okay, the road code I think I got. I got
my learner's license at seventeen. I went a little bit late,
got it in one though, studied the road code. Got
the loser plates on my car, Yeah, I got, I
got the learners. It was the restrict that I had
a couple of guys out.

Speaker 16 (01:07:45):
Same But what is it that AA is saying that
we don't know them, We're not well The AI has
the AA sorry has identified concerning knowledge gaps.

Speaker 3 (01:07:56):
In New Zealand drivers, Oh shit, having just driven? We
did I drive? I drove from Auckland to Hamilton and
Hamilton to Fangade over the weekend. We are the pets.
We are so bad at trying varrible drivers. Well, they
asked a whole bunch of adult kiwis twenty four questions
about road rules and driving behavior. The majority of participant

(01:08:18):
participants answered lessons seventy percent correctly. The average score was
sixteen point three correct answers or sixty eight percent. One
person got only five out of twenty four correct, while
the highest was twenty three out of twenty four.

Speaker 6 (01:08:35):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (01:08:36):
On So I went to drive dog Governor in sand
and like, I signed up and it was like what
license do you have?

Speaker 3 (01:08:42):
Full?

Speaker 2 (01:08:42):
But I'm just applying for my learners and it lent
me yeah, And I was like, okay, so answer these questions.

Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
Every time I collected an answer it was great. I'm like,
I went great, I just got to the end. No,
I got seven out of twelve. Apparently, the most common
unans were about indicator at roundabouts. So good at indicating
around about, You've got to indicate out driving around bus
lanes and sharing the road with cyclists, give way rules

(01:09:11):
with the best everybody. Eighty percent of people got the
questions about giveaway right they change? They did? But yeah.
The CSO found that driving experience had little effect on
the knowledge. So it didn't matter if someone had been
driving for a long time. Okay, they was still alive.
Who was driving to the day he dropped? Okay, Well,
we're going to test ourselves and if you want to

(01:09:32):
call us up, I want one hundred dars at him.
We will test you as well. See how good you are.
Maybe you think you're great. Maybe you drive every.

Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
Day, you never crashed anything. I'm the best in the studio,
in the studio. This was the first one I got wrong.
What does that sign mean? Now, it's a limited speed zone.

Speaker 3 (01:09:48):
It's a white circle with the black line through it.
No clue, So what does it mean? Don't Shannon she
thinks she knows. Shannon can't that dodgy driver school. They
were all getting paid off money to I never parallel parked.
They still have never done it.

Speaker 11 (01:10:06):
No, doesn't that mean no speed limit, which means drive
to the conditions. So it's one hundred ks.

Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
No, it's not Europe.

Speaker 11 (01:10:15):
No, But don't we have a sign for that that.

Speaker 3 (01:10:17):
It's just like drive to the conditions, like Florida if
it's sweat home. Yeah, it's like open road like Germany.

Speaker 2 (01:10:24):
They're like Texagan saying I'm right, No, it means do
not drive faster than one hundred kilometers an hour, because
I said don't drive faster than one hundred kilometers.

Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
An hour and kind of in a roundabout way, what
you're saying, right, which is drive to the conditions, but
like one hundred is the top question four on this
that I also got wrong. What should you do if
it's not clear who that's to give way?

Speaker 11 (01:10:46):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:10:46):
I said, this shouldn't happen. There's a give way rule
that covers everything.

Speaker 3 (01:10:50):
Right, but if they're giving on the right.

Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
Rule, if it's not clear who is to give way,
shouldn't happen to give way?

Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
I can't. I got wrong. I said this shouldn't happen.
There's a give way while that comes in a situation
shouldn't have And the answer was rely on common sense
and communicate with other road users.

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
We don't rely on common sense. It's twenty twenty six.

Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
This is sort of what they do over seat like
Barley into your china.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
They love it when there's when it all converges you.
If you were there first, you go, but you give
way to your right I got this question wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:11:23):
What's the right of way? I said? The right of
way is the vehicle that has the legal right to
carry on. It has the right of way, the correct
There's no such a thing as the right of way.
No one has the right of way of anyone else.
What's a ford ranger allowed? I'm right away by default, Easter, Darling, welcome,
Hello darling. Do you indicate in and out? Because someone

(01:11:47):
just text uses to saying did I hear both Vaughn
and Holy saying indicate in and out? They indicate out.

Speaker 2 (01:11:53):
You indicate your intentions when you go in and you
and if it changes, you indicate out, Like.

Speaker 3 (01:11:58):
If I'm going right, go right, that's indicating and then
as a peel off to the right lift. That's the rule.
That's the rule, carry that is the rule. It's okay,
give esther a question. Let's test our listeners. The giveaway
rule the good. The giveaway rules can be applied to
any situation at any time, true or false. Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:12:28):
The giveaway rules can be applied to any situation at
any time, true or false.

Speaker 3 (01:12:38):
Trific flight situations, the traffic lights, like are they.

Speaker 11 (01:12:46):
Talking about when you're at a mental crossroads or you're
in like.

Speaker 3 (01:12:49):
A life of turmoil? You were right, Yeah, you're right.
There some situations that giveway rules don't apply when this happens,
you common sense and courtesy. No, I will born. I
think you'd agree with this.

Speaker 7 (01:13:06):
I don't think anyone in chatter to peninsula uses common sense.

Speaker 3 (01:13:10):
There's only one way in, one way out. And I've
built all the townhouses on the old quarter r becers
in one of those problem as someone said, yes, obviously
if you're going straight through aroundabout, you don't indicate no, no, no,
you don't Okay, what about? I don't know the answer now,

(01:13:33):
but I remember one of my verbal questions to get
my license because I was one of the last people
in the room. There was a whole bunch of us,
and so I could hear all the other questions, so
I got the real juicy hard and this was one
of my questions. When I think you said one of
the three times, and when are the times it's legal
to not wear a seatbelt? I was pregnant, right, That

(01:13:57):
seems crazy? As wonder as one of them. Pregnant is
one of them when you're pregnant. Okay, so I've just googled.
In New Zealand, it is legal to not wear a
seat belt only under specific, limited exceptions, having a medical certificate,
reversing a vehicle, being able to reach unable to reach
controls while restrained, or making frequent stops under fifty k's.

(01:14:18):
So does that mean if you were like a career
driver but just going suburban and never going over fifty
years medical terrible medical reasons would be being pregnant? Right? Yeah,
because the belt doesn't extend, but you should give you
an extend. The belt will go around. Ester Darling, thank
you you.

Speaker 6 (01:14:39):
Did?

Speaker 3 (01:14:39):
She? Yes, you got false? Okay, yeah, what about the
horse one?

Speaker 9 (01:14:43):
Greg?

Speaker 3 (01:14:43):
Good morning morning? How are we good? How do you
rate your road knowledge? I actually wasn't calling about the
road thing. I was calling to say hippopotamus.

Speaker 9 (01:14:55):
Oh yeah, worn said hippopotamus. Already you know, while you're here, Greg,
while you're here on never.

Speaker 3 (01:15:07):
Got a question?

Speaker 2 (01:15:08):
Okay, here's what this is? Another one I got wrong.
So I'm just basically asking all the questions of the
one I've got wrong. So you don't feel as bad
as as a good driver. And this was multi choice,
and I can't remember the other choices. As a good driver,
it's my legal responsibility to make sure any passengers in
my vehicle are wearing seat belts at all times. A
void was an injury to any person or damage to

(01:15:29):
anyone's property.

Speaker 3 (01:15:30):
And then there were two other ones that I can't remember.
So one was right, long do you know that one?

Speaker 9 (01:15:36):
Greg?

Speaker 3 (01:15:37):
No? Yeah, there was a long question. I didn't quite
get because I said seatbelts, but apparently that only counts
if that kids. Once you're over a seat belt, that's
on you.

Speaker 2 (01:15:48):
Okay, Well, I don't know, man, I would definitely I
thought I would fly through this, but I.

Speaker 3 (01:15:54):
Definitely need to study.

Speaker 2 (01:15:56):
So it turns out the AA is basically right with Okay,
so the no seat out frequent stopping us for rubbish trucks.
Oh okay, yeah right, it makes sense. Midwife here, please
do we seatbouts if you're pregnant? Bump and wastebout under
the bump?

Speaker 3 (01:16:10):
Yeah, the bump. Yeah, this was a good one. What
is the legal breath alcohol limit for drivers aged under
twenty zero? Now?

Speaker 6 (01:16:17):
Zero?

Speaker 9 (01:16:18):
Zero?

Speaker 3 (01:16:19):
Absolutely zero? Is it a couple brews, skis b It's zero.

Speaker 4 (01:16:26):
The ZM podcast network plays flesh Onorn and Haley.

Speaker 3 (01:16:31):
It was renewed right in its first season, right a
couple of episodes out Heated Rivalry boom one of the
hugest shows ever, and renewed for season two. Yeah, great show.
I actually even finished watching it, which is wild because
it's right out your alley, right up my alle. But
I love it. It's great what I've saying. And Heated

(01:16:52):
Rivalry is currently filming season two, okay under a shroud
of unless like and you've read the books, and which case,
you know what's happening. But they've had to make a
little public service announcement. This is the Heated Rivalry Instagram
page and the creator Jacob Tierney Tierney he they are
pleading to fans stop crashing the set. You're ruining it

(01:17:19):
if you want the TV show to be made off.

Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
Because it's so popular, fans want to get glimpses of
them filming. They want to get some inside, maybe some
inside goth.

Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
Yeah. Now, producer Carwen at Carwen reads you read the books.
I did, and we're a big fan and we're excited
for the show. Do you understand the mania of the fans.
Oh absolutely, like, I get it.

Speaker 10 (01:17:42):
Everyone has put these two and all the other cast
on such a pedestal. They want to meet them, let
alone get some action behind the scenes. Also, let's be honest,
they want to get a viral TikTok behind the scenes.
But also this has been happening for a while now.
The other book adaptation, the Summer I Turned Pretty there's
a movie coming out. They've recently been filming it and

(01:18:03):
now where everyone knows where they film certain scenes like
the beach that they're supposedly at, they know where that is.

Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
Now.

Speaker 10 (01:18:10):
They have been flooding the streets of the filming areas
and the Summer I Turned Pretty Hat to do the
same thing. They put out a pea saving like, if
you love us and this show and this movie, please
leave us alone.

Speaker 3 (01:18:22):
So this is very worded nicely to our incredible fans.
YadA yadiya, your support, enthusiasm and kindness have meant the
world to us. As we gear up for more, Please
help us in making it the best it can be.
The coffin there, yeah, yeah, it can be. If you
happen to come across one of our filming locations. Please

(01:18:43):
give our cast and true the space they need to
do what they do best. We promise it will be
worth your weight.

Speaker 10 (01:18:49):
I think this is so fair though, because also imagine
the post editing that they're going to have to do
to edit people out right.

Speaker 3 (01:18:55):
Like, well, it's literally just making the day long and expensive. Yeah,
for sure. And they need more secure and they need
more barriers, and we need more time. We've spoken about this,
like the two lead actors going from kind of unknown
to just the biggest stars in the world and you
know everything. And I've seen a couple of videos of
them in particular being like plee, like just turning around

(01:19:15):
being like, please leave me alone. Which one was in Europe?
Was it? Shane was in Europe? And you've literally been
following me this whole time.

Speaker 10 (01:19:24):
You learned the piece of paper, Yeah, that's right, let's
really set the paper on fire.

Speaker 3 (01:19:28):
And it didn't light. It wasn't catching. He was like
listen and he was like trying to light it and
it wasn't it. Yeah, but the statement was there. But yeah,
and listen, you've got to I mean, we're in New Zealand.
I don't think they're filming here at all.

Speaker 11 (01:19:42):
But just.

Speaker 3 (01:19:44):
Stuff does film here. The people is a pretty good
a like I think so.

Speaker 2 (01:19:48):
And it's ice hockey, right, it's pretty cold here at
the moment.

Speaker 3 (01:19:52):
Oh, we're good.

Speaker 10 (01:19:54):
Filming location and our ice hockey seasons coming to a close.

Speaker 3 (01:19:58):
And we've got all these hot people here having been
in Europe recently, we are the main Yeah, I think
they're staying in Canada.

Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
The play ms Flitch, Vorn and Hailey.

Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
My research into this has been minimal. I don't know
what podcast is on. I can tell you is TikTok
user handles at zay, but he's on a podcast with four.

Speaker 3 (01:20:19):
Bros how to get sign just saying there early or
he paid for it, you're true? Some people do. They
message people and they say, I'll pay you to have
that at name.

Speaker 2 (01:20:29):
Yeah, they take the name. So this is the podcast
for four dudes. And he makes a revelation.

Speaker 3 (01:20:35):
Do you guys remember when I told you that I
spent over four thousand dollars on candy crush? Right, and
never forget that, And I hope you've start I have not.
I don't know the amount yet. My business manager is
about to call us because he told me you're gonna
want to record this good. I don't know if you're
ready for it. Okay, hit me shit twenty two thousand,

(01:20:56):
four hundred and sixty US dollars candy crush what listen,
I've put some money into camp you have. Yeah, when
I went through a phase of absolutely just being hooked
on it every noow, I need to get a little
two dollars ninety nine booster. But I'm talking maybe I
spent like a couple of hundred over the course of
how long years? Okay, And that's me being honest, And

(01:21:20):
to be honest, you would.

Speaker 2 (01:21:24):
If you spend hours playing that, you'd spend more money
to get entertainment per hour elsewhere.

Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
Sure, I want to PlayStation games. You could play one
PlayStation game twenty high.

Speaker 2 (01:21:38):
That's insane money. I mean here obviously can afford it.
He's got a business manager that's in charge of his finances.

Speaker 3 (01:21:45):
And podcast every one of the podcasts breaking in money. Absolutely.
You can see how it happens because it is like
two nine five ninety nine ninety nine for a full
pack of gold that and then suddenly if you've been
playing it for years, that's the tune for a grand basically.

Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
Yeah, that's what I want to talk about this morning.
What's the crazy amount you've spent on something? And there's
always these little increments.

Speaker 3 (01:22:14):
Maybe a little hobby that you got into. Yeah, maybe
you added up how much your hobby costs. I'm gonna
start scrap boocket. What is that? What is a little
book and some paper, some clues and some special and
I'll get some stickers and some special you know, tape
and nice corners. Get another one. I'll get a roller.
I fill a potamo cart with stuff, because that seems

(01:22:35):
the chip way to do it. Yeah, that's only one
hundred buck.

Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
What about you with all your clothes? Like if you
actually worked out how much you spent.

Speaker 3 (01:22:44):
Thousands and thousands with mini zeros after it and if
I even just looked at the last ten years, it
would be it'll be a lot of money. It would
I feel like like a gry honestly. Yeah, okay, well
we don't notice it, hamp No, whether it was something
that creeped up or you actually sat down and did
the mats. What is the craziest amount of money you've

(01:23:06):
spent on something? Yeah, like shoes, Whether it was something
a game that was just tacking up the money on
the credit card and you didn't realize, Yeah, something like that,
only one hundred dollars at him nine six nine Sex
to text through to the studio, what's the crazy amount
of money you spent on something? Hamosh? What have you
blown lots of money on?

Speaker 14 (01:23:27):
Well, there's a very easier for me to calculate because
it started for me at about February this year. I
went out on a friend of mine's electric go kart
and it's an all terrain electric go cart. So it's
just a fun on grass and all that sort of stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:23:43):
This is a go cart you can go on hells
and stuff, all right, which is the.

Speaker 14 (01:23:48):
Top speed of about forty five kilometers an hour.

Speaker 3 (01:23:51):
Yeah, now we're talking, and I was just like, I'm sold.

Speaker 14 (01:23:55):
I'm hooked.

Speaker 3 (01:23:55):
This is me, So you've sold us.

Speaker 14 (01:23:57):
I found an identical one for about five hundre bugs
and I bought that. I'm like, okay, that's just great.
Then I found another couple that came up for sale,
and I found a whole bunch of speed parts. And
now I'm about seven thousand dollars in and still still
still cranking through. But I mean we've bit of a
shameless plug. I do have a couple that are finished
into sale.

Speaker 3 (01:24:18):
But yeah, you don't have maybe because that's not because.

Speaker 14 (01:24:25):
I'm trying to recoup costs, because I want to use
that cost to then reinvest into more.

Speaker 3 (01:24:31):
This is how you get hoked well, Hamish when yeah,
where where can we find these cases for sale? Hamish?

Speaker 14 (01:24:39):
Facebook marketplace? Basically if they search up with the go
carts will be a picture of just basically two white
ones that are identical.

Speaker 3 (01:24:46):
A nice job? Have you done a nice job? Oh?

Speaker 14 (01:24:49):
That's pretty cool? I mean the ones that I'm selling
are only they only have a twenty five to thirty
kome at a top speed. I've got the wee smaller mode.

Speaker 3 (01:25:00):
But yeah, Hailey's going to want a forty five k
at least I'm going to need sixty to seventy. If
you buy one that can do thirty You're like, well,
I need when it goes faster the motocross trap. They
just keep telling you faster and more expensive.

Speaker 2 (01:25:13):
By good luck with that, Hamish, Hailey, what have you
spent a crazy amount of money on?

Speaker 3 (01:25:19):
I don't want to know exactly how much, thinking between
three and four hundred dollars over last year in texting
you guys. Oh yeah, right, okay, but that's I mean,
that's a great that's a great cost is an investment?
What a great investment? Oh?

Speaker 7 (01:25:36):
I did think it was free to start us to
be honest.

Speaker 3 (01:25:40):
Apologize that is my job when I said text nine
six ninety six, what does it cost like the old days?
Like the old days. Yeah, we appreciate all of our
listen takes no way. Really really do engauge, stay engaged.
Thank you, Hale and Haley. I found you here.

Speaker 2 (01:25:57):
You've really made Yeah, on the thirteenth of November last year.
Please the simple thing that made me happy was in
my titleer did the most perfect, soft served looking pool
into the toilet, Haley, that was twenty cents.

Speaker 3 (01:26:13):
Well, I remember we read that out well and it
would have just made the whole signer the joy that
you give people, Haley, thank you so much. Stop, we'll
go to ali Alie. What is the crazy amount of
money you've spent something on?

Speaker 7 (01:26:27):
Well, I think my husband's probably listening, so this is
a bit embarrassing. But I thought probably about ten years
ago I got introduced to the at home manicure.

Speaker 1 (01:26:38):
Seats like the nail stickers and gel polish.

Speaker 7 (01:26:41):
And all that sort of stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:26:42):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 7 (01:26:43):
It was like, oh, this is a great way to
save money, you know, like going up to the nail
fell on so expensive, and I got really caught up
into this whole world and like ended up buying a
million of the nail sticker sheets, bought the gel polish
in every color.

Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
How much I was supposed to be the cheap at
home version of things? Very excuse Yeah, yeah, how much
money do you reckon? You've spent?

Speaker 7 (01:27:11):
My husband continued the radio off now but okay, but
it was probably like over three grand.

Speaker 3 (01:27:17):
Oh yeah, okay, you could have just got your nails
done six weeks. So I go back to the cellon now, Yeah,
where is the nails stuff? Where is the nail stuff?
You don't even know it? Yeah, amazing, it's all right,
well diagnosed with ADHD, you know the old They can't

(01:27:40):
catch you, they can't diagnose your situation. Yeah, that's the one. Yeah,
just keep running on. Thanks.

Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
Like some messages in someoney said, I'm okay, we're going
to ignore my tools, we're going to ignore my golf set,
we're going to ignore the comic books that they buy.
But I will tell you the clash of The Clans
mobile game that I've been playing for thirteen years.

Speaker 3 (01:27:59):
Yes, I've spent about thirty thousand dollars on what so
you had to go through and add it all up.

Speaker 2 (01:28:07):
Maybe they're just a plan and they don't know how
much they roughly spend and they.

Speaker 3 (01:28:11):
Worked it out.

Speaker 2 (01:28:12):
But do you know what, like if that's joy and
your entertainment, like people would spend that on booze or
point at me cookie making?

Speaker 3 (01:28:21):
The next two thousand, three hundred a year over thirteen
years of play of the Clans.

Speaker 2 (01:28:30):
Two three hundred divided by twelve what's.

Speaker 3 (01:28:32):
That a month divided twelves?

Speaker 2 (01:28:36):
Just over one hundred bucks just on two okay a month?
I mean that's all your streaming services bucks a week. Yeah,
if you're not streaming streaming cookie.

Speaker 3 (01:28:47):
Making got into cookie making. He's load to da da
day then, And I purchased myself a printer that can
print the edible icing to for a cool five thousand dollars.
That's not okay, you're not going to run a baby babe.

Speaker 2 (01:29:02):
No, that's insane.

Speaker 3 (01:29:04):
And how many times have you printed out someone's face
so you can eat it for the birth day?

Speaker 2 (01:29:09):
Growing dailis just as a hobby.

Speaker 3 (01:29:11):
Now I've got three large garden beds and I've spent
far too much money on flowers. I hate tell you what.

Speaker 2 (01:29:15):
I don't think that's bad money spent though.

Speaker 3 (01:29:17):
And it's good. So yeah, daily is auspicial. It's good
for the mind and the soul is Yeah. My partner
and I wanted to justify buying a coffee machine, so
we started pricing up how much we spent on coffee
for twelve months on Saturdays and Sundays alone, it was
over two and a half thousand dollars. But you still
go out for coffee. I bet they do on the

(01:29:38):
weekend because I've been making one before they go to work,
and they just like, that's the weekend. We're gonna have
a little Spish's something else to get them and do
it exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:29:45):
Quite a few people recognizing their coffee spinning habits. Yeah,
mine wasn't so subtle. I spent seven thousand dollars over
twelve months to bring a dog back from Tonga.

Speaker 3 (01:29:55):
Oh, one of those weird long dog. Got heaps of dogs.
He's one of those weird and dogs and they're all like,
you know, the rum rat of Queens. Corky got off
the plane back in the fifties and when true, it's
not true, but it's right stories. But it's weird because of.

Speaker 2 (01:30:10):
The cork, because of their own bread nature tattoos.

Speaker 3 (01:30:14):
Somebody said, you know, they're not cheap in the first place,
but when you've got seventy percent of your body covered,
you as that thousands of dollars. My body's free. Yeah,
you are free.

Speaker 2 (01:30:24):
I don't have any Yes, I spent ten thousand dollars
on Counterstrike skins. So this is like a video gaming
real things. I lost them all in one crash.

Speaker 3 (01:30:35):
Fun fact, my Steam account has been processed nearly eighty
five thousand times from credit cards. What what does that mean?

Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
So somebody hacked it? Oh okay, and they've tried to
get it right. That's eighty five thousand times.

Speaker 3 (01:30:50):
That's a lot of time. I reckoned for a bit.

Speaker 1 (01:30:52):
Yeah, need work plays It ends. Flesh one and Haley.

Speaker 3 (01:30:58):
Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper stepped out yesterday and Gaperie.
I don't even know they were a thing. What really
everyone knew that in the years. It's it's been they
actually it's been years. But they do keep very private,
like they never speak about it. They very rarely go
to things together.

Speaker 2 (01:31:17):
I think they like Hollywood couples that are like that,
like Zendaya, you know, and they just don't flash it about.

Speaker 3 (01:31:23):
They just kept to themselves. Something's for just you. Yeah.
So three years into their relationship, they stepped out in
Paris yesterday and people noticed on their left ring finger
matching teeny little ringman's that are a sparking secret marriage
roomors they.

Speaker 2 (01:31:42):
Might have got those rings that monetor sleep Oh yeah,
they're going they don't look like those.

Speaker 3 (01:31:49):
No. So so one half of this is that everyone's like, oh,
maybe they got married, how exciting, or they're engaged or
whatever they are. Half is that people are discussing the
new trend of the tiny ring, the tiny, little simple
ring thing, which is a move away from, particularly in Hollywood,
the big wh is that for engagement or wedding or

(01:32:11):
both either both or now. Producer Carwen recently engaged and
also a former ring salesperson. Yeah, I when before you
the day you told us you were engaged. The reason
I clocked onto it earlier because the size of her

(01:32:32):
rock caught me in the eye and it blinded me.
So you're telling the nation that I'm not trendy. Yeah,
you're unfashionable with your warping big diamond. No, I wasn't know,
but you would say your ring is quite a classic ring.
But it's a stone like she's she's got a honky
rock on solitaire goal Yeah yeah, yeah? What are you
and producer? Shannon, I'm not engaged. I don't want to

(01:32:57):
leave you out of the trench hair. It's fine.

Speaker 11 (01:32:58):
I've been together seven years and it's an empty hand.

Speaker 3 (01:33:01):
It's all right, Oh it is. Yeah, ring doesn't do
what it always He's a magician, so it could just
appear one though your hand. Now, Shannon, You're fine, nothing
on it. Guys, you're writing some steamy stuff. I'll use
that later. What do you make of this? Like super
pulled back, teeny tiny like some people, it's just like

(01:33:22):
literally just a yeah, silver little band.

Speaker 11 (01:33:24):
I mean this became a huge meme when the summer
I turned pretty late season came out Bally had the
World's Tiniest ring, and everyone ridiculed it.

Speaker 3 (01:33:33):
But now a few months later we're all like, she
has so again.

Speaker 8 (01:33:37):
Do you know what?

Speaker 9 (01:33:38):
I think?

Speaker 10 (01:33:38):
This is like one of those recession indicators, you know
how lipstick styles go up. I reckon, we're all trying
to normalize that little rings are cute because we can't
actually afford the.

Speaker 3 (01:33:47):
Chic because we can't afford Yeah, but that's that doesn't
work for Bradley Cooper and whatever they want. Yeah, maybe
it's because they are just keeping this so down low
that that was something not so sil and obvious. Has
she been married before? Was she married to Zame?

Speaker 8 (01:34:04):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:34:06):
Are we talking the same Hadid? Yeah, we're talking now.

Speaker 2 (01:34:10):
Which one's the one with the Do we remember covid
when she came out and one of them came out
and showed their apartment and it was ghastly.

Speaker 3 (01:34:17):
Which one was that?

Speaker 8 (01:34:19):
Do you.

Speaker 3 (01:34:21):
Jeen's sisters had an apartment here? It was amazing. No,
who had to pass the drawer?

Speaker 2 (01:34:27):
Yeah, it was one of the Hadids had this ghastly apartment.

Speaker 10 (01:34:31):
Famously them their mother is an interesting woman and she
has lined todays and I think the others too.

Speaker 3 (01:34:38):
I know people with lined taste an apartments cabinets made
of past her and it was so it was right.
Everybody needs the Google gig Hadid's apartment It was in
this magazine and Hadid apartment and terrific. It's like, what
do you doing? That's right? So she had doors that

(01:34:59):
have glass and the filling on them was different colors
of pasta. Yeah, you know what, I don't like it? Wait,
so is this the one Bradley Cooper could possibly ye?
Poor guy health flex there seems like a man of class.

Speaker 1 (01:35:12):
Do you reckon it was a trade off.

Speaker 3 (01:35:13):
He was like, I'll get married if you get rid
of it. You have to cover play in Fleshborne and Haley,
I don't think I've got a few friends on GP ones.
We'll be speaking about it a lot this week because
we took caught up with Patty Gower, took about pip
tids what not. You watched that whole episode last year.

(01:35:34):
It's online really interesting, really interesting, Yeah, harrowing, scary, Yeah,
scary for people who.

Speaker 2 (01:35:45):
I mean he's not buying into it, but by buying it, Yeah,
because it's targeted advertising on Instagram and and TikTok. So
I guess if you've ever searched like diet culture or
being active in that and disordered eating. It targeted people
with disordered eating who you know, body just more fear
and yeah, dragged them into it and then you know,
there's an addiction to it element to it, as the

(01:36:06):
episode mostly dealt with people illegally importing peptides not the
prescription onegal and then GP has to.

Speaker 3 (01:36:15):
Go, so do you need these?

Speaker 2 (01:36:17):
It showed how many I think it was two weeks
or a month, how many had been stopped at customs.
Oh yeah, tipped them out and then they're like, we
only ever get the tip of the iceberg with what's
coming into the country.

Speaker 3 (01:36:26):
Yea. And when he tested them, yeah, they weren't all
what they said they were somewhere, some weren't.

Speaker 9 (01:36:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:36:34):
Rolling the disod people are injecting that you're going to
mix it up, you're going to get the right dose.
And the girl they talked to specifically who was on
weight loss peptides and got dangerously thin, she had been
overdosing herself a little bit as well. Oh okay, because
you've got to get the exact right, but she'd been
doing a little on purpose because she's like, if I

(01:36:54):
give myself more, no, no, well no, I don't think
so oh wow, I don't think. Okay, yeah, I watch
it's on three now, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So the
reason they bring up to Yelpi ones is because it's
it's kind of brought to question a something that we
would have all asked at some point, should we get
fries for the table?

Speaker 5 (01:37:14):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:37:15):
Always, always get fries for the table. So there was
a food writer who was writing, you know that food
as their love language, and going out and sharing food
with their friends is like something they absolutely love to do.
And they come from a group of friends and I
recognize this, which was should we just order the menu,
you know where we can get a little bit like that?
Vaurne knows it's time to stop ordering when the servers

(01:37:37):
faces that's too much.

Speaker 11 (01:37:40):
You go.

Speaker 3 (01:37:40):
You can see it in their face. Yeah, they start
looking at you sideways like you're not going to fiddle
this food in. You bring it. You watch. So she
said she came from a group like us, which is like, God,
we're not going to miss out and everything. We want
a little taste and everything. To a lot of people
saying should we split an entree or shall we you know,
or maybe that's a bit much, or have a whole
one of these myself, the appetite goes on the on

(01:38:03):
the jabs. Yeah, And this person is very much like
our Lord of the burger you'll get the fish and chips.
You're going to get the begers fries for the table, Yeah,
because we all need a little extra and and the
GLPI one era could be the death of the fries
for the table. So if you're someone like us who's
not on the golp ones, who who wants a little fry,
but we don't need a whole fry, we're not going

(01:38:24):
to have that. The safety of guys for the table.
Maybe places are going to have to start doing baby
fries fries for the table, which is just for me.
Finally let us order off the kids mean you? You
know all I want.

Speaker 2 (01:38:37):
Sometimes it's just I just want a little bit of chips.

Speaker 3 (01:38:40):
Yeah, so many yesterday and I saw something on the
kids Mean You, and I was like, that's what I want.

Speaker 2 (01:38:44):
But I have been out with people that have been
on the jabs and it does kind of throw you
off because you're eating all of a sudden, you're eating
this massive meal and then nibbling at something.

Speaker 3 (01:38:52):
Yeah, nibbling it as small. So death of the fries
at the table, guys A sad day.

Speaker 2 (01:39:00):
I counted seventy nine all rights today, Fletcher. But if
there's a new personal.

Speaker 3 (01:39:04):
Record off GoF how many of those did you count?
Seventy nine of those two? All right, well, if you
