Okay, cotton candy, that's fine, very burst, See that works,
that banana split.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Fruit punch, pumpkin spice. They did a Reese's peanut butter. Yeah,
that's why that would be amazing to be.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Young brownie batter watermelon. I feel like watermelon would be off.
But they did that with a vanilla baquet.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Oh really, so the biscuit was vanilla and the watermelon
was the was the krame root beer flow, lemon twist,
marshmallow Chris? Anybody? Did anybody have the post malone Oreo cigarettes?

Documentary Oh yeah, God'scord four part really good, and they
were talking about the trauma on the two lead detectives,
on them, the toilet took on their family and tame.

because they're not vibing it not vibe, it's a vibe. Yeah,
(07:05):
it's a guilty vibe. I didn't do it. If I didn't,
the vibes are off. Could you like be a lawyer
and defend someone you knew was guilty? This is what
I was thinking of.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
The Knights talk a lawyer like they like killed dozens
of people and then lots of people and and then
he has to have a lawyer.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
I was like, yeah, what is the lawyer fighting for?
And then the lawyer is making sure they get a

there being sometimes they're the worst of humanity. You're up
there defending them. No thanks, I.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Only want to be near some of these people energitically.
Speaker 1 (07:43):

First point the other side makes, They're like, that's a
good point. I don't really have anything back to them.
Four on the last of the top sex signs, Your
lawyer is about to quot They said, if you just
agree with what the other people are saying and get
(08:04):
out of there before lunch, they'll share your free lunch.
It's good. No such thing as a free lunch because literally, yea,
but I didn't do it. But you just say say
that I say, then will be as well. Okay, if

fruit picking. Oh yeah, and Queensland. Yeah. Number one on
the top six signs, Your lawyer wants to quit. They're
in a group chat with your ex's lawyer. In the

(09:08):
they just get I want the e bike. It's lunch

Speaker 3 (09:17):
It's making a bit of a public service announcement. Actually,
lovers alive. Wow, we're getting married, We're doing things. Producer
Carwin engaged.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Yeah, your fiance, your boyfriend before the show and everyone
keeps calling me out on this and I'm like, what's
the difference. Yeah, I was always just like partner, But
then I get told off part partners stuff. I love
him boyfriend. Yeah, you're not telling us, well, you're not
(09:50):
really into it. I remember, this is my partner. I'm
so you don't really love them. When people say my partner,
I'm like, oh, so you've stopped having sex. Yeah? This business,
this is a business transaction, haven't There's something.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
So fun and whimsical about being in your thirties and
twenties and saying boyfriend. Yeah, it's like boyfriend and how
many is you've been together?
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Ten?
Speaker 3 (10:10):
A boyfriend? Silly little thing looks it's accessory of my life,
A silly little penis. Don't need them, don't need them.
But he's bloody joyful to be around.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
So you.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
I don't know if I even know this as a friend.
Have you done any wedding thoughts planning? Everyone wants to know.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
She was fourteen. Of course she has, you know what
I actually haven't. I'm not one of those girlies.
Speaker 6 (10:35):
Yeah, so no, I think we're thinking not next year,
year after. But aside from that, don't really have nothing solid.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
Well, obviously you'll be, you know, looking and thinking about that.
The role of the bride's maid. I imagine it'll be
at the Warriors halftime Warriors.
Speaker 6 (10:52):
If you guys want to paper, I'll do it a
little halftime wears.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Yeah, but you even bride'smaids is sort of a typical.
If you're going for a traditional wedding, your bride's got
the bride'smaids, and if there's a groom, he's got his groomsmen.
And how many bridesmaids should you have? This is the
ideal number. This is a wedding expert named Zoe Burke.
She writes a blog and books and stuff about weddings.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
She says, it's about symmetry. Yes, you've got to have
an even number.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Yeah, but in the UK, for example, the typical number
is three. Yes, so, and I've been I've been a
bride'smaid two times with a group of three and two
times with a group of four and four four looks
better in photos. Three looks three is better on the day,
(11:43):
you know.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
What three looks photos?
Speaker 3 (11:45):
No, But if you're doing the bride and the and
the party, the bride's like.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
One, one, two right off.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Yeah, okay, So if you're a part of a four,
this is these are the four roles Carwen, that you
need to fulfill if you're doing four, son, have.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
An idea of bridesmaid's numbers. I mean, I think I'm
not gonna have any. Yeah, that's that's.
Speaker 6 (12:07):
I think a lot of my friends have been doing
this recently, and it's it feels kind of chic.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Sorry, just headphones off, Shannon, w TF cubed f right now?
Speaker 3 (12:21):
No, I literally have been on a diet for weeks.
So I've been on a diet since she announced her
Do you.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
Think it was going to be a sateen dress and
you were getting worried?
Speaker 3 (12:27):
I was like, the Satine's gonna hot cling onto all
my bats, all the perch and everything.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
I was like Carlen's gonna go satin. It was your
first thought as well. I've been dying off starving. Have
a chip. I'm gonna eat chips. Have some chips. All right,
here's the four essential bridemaid roles.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Shannon, we can choose which one we're going to take,
and then two of your other whimsical friends.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
The type A.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
This is one calm under pressures. Are not me and
Shannon calm under pressure. Organize handles everything, handles, the guestbook,
gifts coming, all that kind of stuff. You know, it
has everything set up for you. You don't have to worry
about everything else. That's the type A.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
You got a friend like that, that could be a Shannon.
Speaker 6 (13:05):
To be fair, she's been I've hadn't made it impressive,
made of honor recently.
Speaker 7 (13:08):
Yeah, I've just got a schedule with I lose my
mind when I'm around you because we rack each other up.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
Okay, in the others. The second bridesmaid type. If you're
having four, the ideal number. The mum carries plasters, tassues,
paracetam or water. Make sure you feed your hydrated, wipes
your tears, make sure the scar's looking good.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Everything like that. You've got the mum roll, the kera
not mate, the glam queen.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
This is the third type of bridesmaid you need. The
glam queen fixes your lip gloss and bouquet touch up,
making sure the heir is good, making sure the tatars
are up nice, no bloody chicken giblets, showing through all.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
That kind of stuff.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
And then the forever friend zero boundaries, helps you in
and out of the dress, helps your pee, bathroom judy,
the bloody train. I've done this before, and you straddle
the toilet front ways.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
It's the best way to do it.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
The forever Fred anything if you need a pee, if
you need a tampon, if you need anything, anything. And
then they say if you have five, if you're so popular,
And this is where I think I would come in
with a first party starter.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
I'm getting in there. I'm cracking the bubbles.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
I'm making the music playlist for the morning when you're
getting ready, calming, you.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Know, just like Calmi one down, like one vibes, struggling
to find five friends, to be honest, the cost the
cost of that crazy. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
I've had friends that got married and they had huge
bridal parties, but there they're friends. Just what they want
this color range.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
If you write, see that wouldn't look good in photos.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
Okay, So if I'm having five, Hayley's the fifth. I'm
the party starter, and you think that Shannon is the
Taipei come under pressure, organize everything.
Speaker 7 (14:57):
I'll also help you pee, you because man, I did
that as made of honor. And I said, push one out.
She's like, I don't need to pay us. Said, we're
doing it now. I said, I'm undressing you. Get on
the toilet, we're pushing.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
It's bad, pushing it out bad. Oh god, I thought,
you mean, when do you do purse on your wedding day?
You probably want to morning. No, but I said, I said,
it takes four of us to get you out of
the dress.
Speaker 7 (15:19):
Then I had to be in the toilet with yours
and she she was like, I don't have to wear
push one out the badder to get it done.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
And I think that's my role for you, Calvin. I'll
help you pee, all right.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
And I don't care about these other be ouchers, but
they better be ready because I'm getting hot for this.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
With the.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Podcast network play silly little poll, silly.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
It is so silly silly, silly bad silly little poo,
silly little pottle.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
See do you talk to your colleagues how much you're paid?
Is today's still a little pile power in it. Yeah,
I'm sure a lot of workplaces would love it to
be secret, and some I think in the past there
were secrecy clauses, but they're not enforceable. Nah, it's not
a thing.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Do you feel like in the freelance world, I let
that quite quick because people will try to pay you
as little as possible when you're like gegging or doing
you know, like acting gigs.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Or writing stuff. And then you would like you kind
of film a community and you're like, you get paid
how much? And then you know it's.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Empowering and it allows you to go in with a
bit more kind of gauge on what you should be making.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Didn't you find an Excel spreadsheet once with how much
everyone on a production was getting paid?
Speaker 5 (16:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (16:39):
Yeah, yeah, And it was like shockingly different.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
And what I had been told was the base level
and what everyone was on it was bullshit.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Wow. Yeah. I was saying that companies would lie to
you to get you to work. For two, there are
bad people. They will lie to you in line. But yeah,
I used it. But then if you had a company,
wouldn't you want to pay people? Is if you see
a dollar out of me or registered in charity a church.
(17:12):
Just work experience in valuable life experience.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
I will give you the gift of knowledge and experience
and exposure.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Just work for free, just if you work for enough.
How you make money's none of my business. Do you
talk to colleagues about how much you paid? Sixty eight
percent of people said no, wow I Ashley said, I
got my first job when I was seventeen hours or two.
I see what she was paid, and the next day
the manager gave me a written warning. Oh wow, excuse you,
(17:42):
excuse you? I written warning. I have to answer it.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
If you ask someone what do you get paid and
they say, I don't want to say that's fine.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
She's asked. Bridget said, we all get paid the same. Hello,
government job, it's all public. You can find out what
public servants are paid. Laura said, we uncovered very poor
pay equity that was trying to be covered up. I
disclosed mine as I left because it was a breach
to talk about it. Dropped the bomb and ran ah
it was a breach. It's a breach to talk about it.
(18:11):
Is that legal? Well, when I had a little quick
Google before, I don't think it is. That's all it
takes to quick little google. I have knowledge. That's insane.
Olivia said, I don't. But I have started with my
friends and how we manage the money. Oh, we're talking
more about friends and okay, friends situation. So in New
(18:33):
Zealand you have the legal right to discuss your pay
with colleagues. Under the Employment Relations blah blah blah Act.
It is illegal for employers to punish, fire, or disadvantage
you for talking or asking about renumeration. There you go, right,
a llegal. My autism doesn't recognize this is an awkward
topic and I'd rather be well informed and know my
worth right love it, Megan said. There are four of
(18:55):
us that work. One's the principal, one's the director, and
one's their dad who handed the business down to them.
It's a real estate business, father, two sons and me.
This would not be to start talking about how much
money everybody's earning. I mean sometimes I do have to
discuss it with them when I want to raise but yeah,
I don't know how much they are.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
You're the outside, and there were any bitter about Nippo
people because we're not nipper.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
We're not yeah, our farthers, and I would be loving it.
Rules I'd be saying things like I might have they
might have helped me open the door. But I've taken
the steps since I work hard, since yeah, since I
didn't have to struggle or work my way up. I've
worked hard. I think you did, did they? But again,
(19:38):
if it was offered to me, I take it, yeah,
open hands. We're not against it until we are. We're
against it till we are, like the jab, like the
jab peptide. Absolutely not until oh my god. I just
heard the other day two guys in the gym talking
about pep tides and one of them was tiding hard.
(19:59):
One of them was just yeah, bro, I can get
you this, so I can get you there. And he's like, oh,
my mate, my mate was going to get shelder surgery
and got the pip times and and he canceled the surgery.
I was just like, that affects them. It is wild,
like not my mate can get you though. Wild, Let's
just calm the fun, watch the doctor nor list. My
mate is a doctor. Yeah, well you did you watch
(20:19):
the Patty Galer, haven't you? Yes, it's very interesting. Yes,
I used to, said Shane, discuss how much I was
paid with colleagues until I became a team leader. Now
it feels awkward about saying I get paid more because
it's my boss brag about how much you got paid.
And I used to hate that deck move. Yes, it
sucks move, I actually said absolutely not. One lady accidentally
(20:40):
saw what I was on and confronted me about it.
Turned out I was on more, and then she handed
in a notice the next daye to this day. Still
I talked to me, what it is not your fault.
It's not your fault. Yeah, that's not your fault at all.
It's to inform her as okay, Yes, Danielle said, I'm
a house painter with a couple of lazy af coworkers.
So I'm doing more work for less money. If I'm
doing more work for less money, I want to know
(21:01):
about it. Yeah. True. So the only female here, So
you know equality and all that jazz and all that jazz,
that's actually the Employment Remuneration Disclosure Amendment Act and all
that jazz jazz. It's actually under that for women and
all that jazz and all that jazzj Catherine said yes,
(21:22):
because I'm a teacher and normally and it's normally always wrong, right,
we're getting paid. So for today's a little poll, we asked,
do you talk to colleagues about howmuch you paid?
Speaker 8 (21:32):
Sixty z M podcast Network play z m's Flesh Forn
and Haley.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Oh what was that big side which the Warriors came on?
From there? It is a game but in the top
of the table Penrith Panthers tell Fletch you you know
all about it that you're actually well it was on
where when I was out on Friday, I saw it
on the big screen. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, what a guy.
Speaker 9 (22:00):
We were up.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
We were up twenty something now and then the Panthers
they tried to mount a comeback. It was all got
comes down on this spot, improved it all and then
some is this when your voice is fired? Might be
because just then when you were popping off a little
bit there with the spirit of the Wars, the voice
getting worse. Yeah, yeah, that was maybe that was the situation.
(22:23):
So you went to the Warriors game, took Amy my girlfriend,
and she comes from when she comes from a wife.
She comes from a warrior's family old, so she was
a care to. Her parents had season tickets and they
go all the time. She said she hadn't been That
must be horrible because went they losing all the time,
then they weren't bad. Yeah, And itone was like next year,
(22:47):
twenty and eleven they made the Grand Final, and you've
got a feeling it's twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (22:51):
Really really, we'll see it happened between two thousand and
two and twenty eleven.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
That's ninety yeah down some times haven't made that you know,
grand final and much longer though.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Let's keept that and that time I went from literally intermediate,
finished high school, started university.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Gentleman who at time? But imagine that whole time your
parents are taking you. Yeah. Well they didn't lose every game, yeah, true,
they just didn't win the brand. They didn't get through
the Grand Final. True, but she did over she did
the new side of me because I love a Wars
game and I'll get a bit excited watching it on
the telly, but not like booing refs and stuff. Did
(23:32):
tell you what that crowd in front of night man,
we love booing a ref. What's your boom for I
heard about him before parting some shock and calls the
bunker really stepped in. Yeah, God's worked there on a
couple of that's when they go the TV ref. Yeah,
they get a video replay. So was amy, but shock
us by your I actually decorum. Yeah, yeah. I was
(23:55):
sitting next to an older gentleman and I think his
grandson was. I thought it was really cute. Grandson and
grandfather guys can cougher could be she was giving he
was giving granddad energy, like the way that they were
like laughing the Yeah, it was really nice. So I
had to apologize to them for a little colorful language
(24:16):
at once. He said, I actually bloody loved to hear it.
It's more passion. Yeah nice, but yeah, what kind of
colorful language we using? Oh yeah, got pretty spicy. I
think I dropped. You had a couple of drinks as well, No, no, no,
I had roughing nothing goodness. There was a couple of
(24:37):
m fs positive m fs right called the ref anything
but I the ref and I did. I don't like
when the other team's h is going to convert and
every one boots them to try to put him off.
That I don't like that it should be skill based.
But when he messes, really you let him. You let
(24:59):
him know. Yeah, then let them. So what did the
girlfriend say. I think she's because she's not talking to
him anymore. It's done because she has been to many
games and quite I think her mum's quite vocal. Okay,
yeah right, she was a bit used to it. But
I think it was quite a surprise for how quickly
it went from nothing to something standing up. Yeah, banging on,
(25:22):
banging on things, lose some loose iron. I actually specifically
think they designed that that iron loosely so we could
bang on it.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
I think it is funny how when you get so
impassioned by sport, often the words that come out they
don't make sense in the context. Like I used to
watch my dad play sport and all that it gets
so wrapped up, and he used to always yell odd things,
like one of his main ones was movie You're fat, bastard.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
But he wasn't fat, he wasn't.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Just these these like cusses would come out. Yea, it
would be very colorful and quite creative sometimes.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
Yeah. I love yelling round your basket and an encourage
way go your basket, run, Yeah, it feels really really
good throwing an armor in that actually explains that you
just I've had a bit of a dicky shoulder of today. Wait,
do you know why is that? I must have been
this you have hurt yourself going it's going to a
(26:17):
Warriors game. I was saying one stage. You're said on TV,
these are big boys, these are big boys when you
sit on TV, But when you're in person, you're just like,
imagine one hundred kg's one hundred kg just slamming down,
just smack you hard. And he's like and then they
kind of hold onto you and they wriggle around, Yeah,
(26:41):
trying to get your neck and you're trying to get
them off. So you're just like frantically thrashing about on
the ground. What You're just like, what that's hands? Should
we go to the league league? That's hell? We will.
We Ah, we were just around the corner together, we
(27:03):
should have been there. Bit of a slack and you're like,
that's not allowed them you tackle, you're holding his mouth.
Game Jesus Nights in a couple of weeks. I think
it's sold out, though we'll find plays.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
It ends flesh one and.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
Now people are a little bit worried. Now here's the
sort of exciting part of it.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
We know the meta ray band glasses, right, and Kylie
did a design of them.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Apparently they're amazing.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
You get them on, they can film things, they can
translate things, they can talk to you, you can listen
to music.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
It's they're like incredible.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Well Camart released over the weekend. They're dupe for only
ninety nine New Zealand dollars, significantly cheaper than the Meta
ray band ones. Now, I did just got to try
to find them so I could wrap my eyes around
them and said be sold out. And they're actually removed
from the website.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
So that's interesting because when this story was blowing up
in Australia yesterday, because it's blowing up there as well
because completely sold out of Australia for the same reason. Here,
everyone's like, okay, now this is becoming a lot more
accessible for people because normally they're very expensive. The ray
band ones are definitely expensive. Well, I'm just I just
tried to find Summer New Zealand the ray ban ones.
(28:23):
There's another brand, ro Kid.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
And they're not here. You can get the majority free,
but the new edition that has all the cool stuff.
They're not quite You've got to get from overseas, from overseas.
So there's a brand Rokead and those are like twelve
hundred dollars.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
Are like a thousand. There's ar glasses, like, what are they?
What are they accomplishing? Well, I'm assuming they have displays
on the glass.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Yeah, you can see emails, you can see notes. I
have a friend, a comedian who uses like a different version.
They're not like super super high tech, but he can
have bullet points of it.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
So he remembers the order to do the jokes a minute.
It's not all just making it up as you go. Yeah,
tonight on the way to the s Yeah, I do
every time. That reminds me of the time that I
bullshit all my stuff true.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Anyway, Camar Camart's got these these ones, but you can't
get them, and I'm wondering.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
So I have found a price five hundred and eighty
to eight hundred and twenty New Zealand dollars for ray
Ban midic Gin two glasses. Yeah yeah, and then I
think there's another one coming. Yes, so expensive, and your
alarm's going off. My arm's got the sausage rolls gonna
be ready. I popped the sausage roll, your homemade sausage
(29:41):
from scratch. Need to go out and maybe maybe just
remind me when we're finished. Just now, it's in tinfoil.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
It's just of coil. And I got a couple more minutes. Okay, okay,
I'll a couple of type brack so that these are.
I'm wondering if that you can't see the Kmart troops
on the New Zealand website anymore because people are like,
we've got some gaps in our law, our privacy laws
in New Zealand, huge gaps regulations.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
What are our gaps like?
Speaker 3 (30:12):
Because you could be filmed The whole time I saw
Morgan Our Lovely Friends six solidis Morgan being like, this
can be a bit dangerous because you could be sitting
on a train and someone's just filming you and and
you're just there.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
I don't know, but the ray ban meta glasses, a
white light comes on. Oh okay, which I'm assuming you
could cover up though, yeah totally. But if you're having
sex with someone on their living there that actually happened
in New Zealand. Do you remember that case? Yeah, they
didn't know that they were being recorded through the glasses, yes,
and so obvious.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
And then it's like if they were to release that,
then the criminal like, look, our laws will take here,
you know and be like that's in illegal, but it's
too late. It's been filmed and all of our privacy
laws have a bit of a gap. And then the
came out New Zealand was like, well, we you know,
we do expect responsible use, and it's like you, of
course you don't sell a gun being like we know
we expect that you don't murder someone with it, but
(31:06):
like we know that that's possible, so.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
At my gun store we sell them for the purpose
of killing people. Yeah, and also the glasses as well.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
They we don't have great laws about like location and
behavior data like being protected at the wearer as well,
especially with Kate mar you know what I mean, Like
it wouldn't be the.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Highest of tech. And yeah, you gotta be careful.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
I mean when I say you gonna be careful, you
can bloody tell when someone's wearing them.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
You can. But then also like you're probably not looking there.
I don't look at people's glasses hard out like I'm
sitting on public trains like Ray bans. It could just
be ray Bang glasses glasses or you go to like
I was.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
You know, I always get asked when I perform, you know,
do you allow photos and filming? And I'll be like, oh,
you know a little bit, but obviously you don't want
someone to film your whole show or you take your
clothes off or something like that. But you can't regulate
that an audience watching a movie. Yeah, anyway, so wet
you can't get them anymore.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
In New Zealand. I don't know if they're going to
restop them, but I guess just be aware.
Speaker 8 (32:09):
Then podcast Network plays that end s flesh one and Hailey.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
I have an observation, observation, go back to private school.
I have an observation to make about New Zealand and
nine six nine sex. If you agree with me here, okay,
the dating scene is so bleak?
Speaker 1 (32:29):
Yeah is that the end? I was like that.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
I was like.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Playing a day.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
You've got a girlfriend who knows what browse up to.
So I've been touring right. I was in New Plymouth
on the weekend, by the way, so outside the Lynn
Light they're making that like a nice medestrian the mirror
mirror they make me.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
A little pedestrian area there. It's nice.
Speaker 9 (32:55):
Yea.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Your cars can't go and normally wear a park to
go to the cafe there, So that's that's annoying. You
could submit it to counsel. I'm sure someone.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
No, No, it looks really nice anyway. New Plymouth absolutely brilliant.
You love going Yeah, Plumath didn't get to.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Go to Social Kitchen, didn't get to go Tomouth ten.
Speaker 5 (33:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
Everyone likes going somewhere where they're the most attractive person. Yeaheah.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
Well so in my show, I've got one more week
of touring, right, but I don't need to do this week.
Speaker 9 (33:23):
And to know this.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
In my show, I always ask people like you know
when I talk about me getting on the apps and
being single and going out getting here, So I always ask.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Who's on the apps in this town? Now, I've been everywhere.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
I've been Palmeston, North, I've been Hamilton, Funkade, I've been
christ to New Plymouth.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
It was like who like three little voices and I
was like, no one's on the apps. On the app
it's a small town. It's because you've only can only
search around you. So you know, I'm team New Plymouth.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
But I said, who's on the apps in New Plouth
about three or four sort of me whoo, And I
was like, holy shit, And I said, how was the
dating scene in New Plumbouth?
Speaker 1 (34:05):
And one woman just goes blake. I was like, oh
my god. And I was like, you know, on the apps,
like what's the problem, what's the problem.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
And one woman on the left was like, it's New
Plymouth Halo like gave gave her own town an absolute
scathing review. And I was like, oh, that's awful. And
I haven't been on where was I last year? I
was just trying to imagine. I'm trying to think if
I'd been on the apps of New Plymouth, because when
I was in Funade, I was like, oh yeah. I
asked them how the apps and Fangada and they said, oh,
(34:33):
they're really bleak, really bad. And I said, I know
because last time I performed in Fangadi. I got back
to my hotel room and it was a little bit lonely,
and I got on the apps and not a mahotah inside,
and I was rid of a climb one anyway, So
I ask you.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
To climb that one. You wanted to climb a couple
of turn emphasis on the tar net. Anyway, back to
New Plymouth.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
So this woman was telling me that the dating scener
New Plump is absolutely terrible. There was another woman who
was recently single after an eighteen year marriage. I said,
if you've been out having fun? She said, only when
I go to Auckland. I was like, okay, so it's really.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Terrible because she's lived there that long. She knows everybody.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
Yeah, or they're related, which is like, I think, okay
down on New Plymouth. Sorry I've joined her say, oh
I know, I'm Tim New Plymouth. It was just an
easy set of joke anyway. So I went out to
the bar afterwards and I was there with some friends
and some lovely ZENIM listeners came up as as I
love and I was saying good chat with them, and
they were sort of milling about the person there with me, O, right,
(35:39):
okay who in the show? Yeah, stay shurned right, And
they were like, oh, you know you've you've been on
a successful date, shall we say? And I was like yeah, no'
like what's your secret that I'm asking all my secrets?
And I was like, oh, I just like met on
an app and you know stay blah blah blah. And
there was one mom she said, what's your star sign?
I was like, oh, it's Libra. She was like, that'd
(35:59):
work for you. And I was like, God, the boys
are going to hate this.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Did you just see me roll my eye? What my
star signers? I'm like, oh.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
This was like oh yeah, because you'd matched with these
people and these people and these people. And I was like, oh,
you know, like I don't really I don't really follow
the star sign. She was like, no, this was working
for me. And she was a new Plymouth girl who
had been trying to date for ages on the apps,
which apparent bleak in their own words, because the only
people on there are new Plymouth people and libras, yeah,
and libras. And she said that it was getting so
(36:29):
bad for her that she went to a psychic or
something like a you know, like Britain, a clear voyant,
a clear voyant, which were a clear voyant, and the
woman said, you've been doing it all wrong this whole time.
You've been focusing on the qualities of the person and
not your star signs and whether or not those things
actually align. So now she was dating exclusively. I can't
remember what your star sign was like Pisces.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
So because some of the apps will let you put
your star sign if you fell it in.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
So now she goes exclusively with like compatible star signs,
and she said it's been working.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
And I was like, but what if you're like person
is out there and the.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Cancer it just doesn't work with you, and you've just
completely missed the same you've been making. You're saying dating
has been harder, You've just made it so much harder.
She's like, I'm sticking completely to this. She was like,
because I've tried everything else, So if this is the
way that I'm going to find my person was a
star center.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
I did call her a mad bitch. That's insanity. It
works for you, she said, it's been working.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
But I said, oh, so if you found someone, She
said no, but I've been meeting nice people, so it's
not working. And imagine she's like on these apps looking
being like oh Libra, oh leo old cancer or whatever.
Star signs don't work with her. She swipes on like
this incredible person.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
Girdle gurgled. Star sign compatibility. It's a it's a massive thing.
Oh yeah, that's like literally why dating apps have that
as a as a I've got one here, fletch. What's
you on again? Your cancer? Yeah, but I'm also a
Gemini cast. I'm on the cast. This changes sometime. Home
(38:00):
set means because who thinks an excellent love match would
be with on your on your Gemini size would be
an excellent love match, But on your cancer size? No,
absolutely not with an area.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
See, this is why it's not worked for you, because
you cusp and he gives casp.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
He is as I've heard people say that about it.
You are driving me because we're not being compatible. So,
as a cancer, what should I be looking for? You
got ees or a libra?
Speaker 10 (38:29):
Those of you two, I'm a libra should get married
the avoids. Those are thevoids I was going to say,
And you're wrong, favorable is it? You should be after
a Taurus, a fellow of cancer, perhaps a virgo my
parents above cancer, and I could easily see myself with Patsy.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
Actually, those should drive me crazy, buying all those antiques.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
Yeah, you should fill the house of antiques, but I
should fill your belly with some bloody good food.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Well that's my life. He actually pisces you and I.
Oh yeah, she's.
Speaker 3 (39:04):
Shocked how easily you two have gotten on board with
the idea of dating using star signs. How much you
don't believe in the impact of star signs. Anyway, to
that lovely listener, we wish her all the best of life.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
We do we do it, but I think we keep
the mind open. Yes to other.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
People podcast network.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
Why are you fighting with your neighbor? Why you've got
beef with your neighbor? Yeah, this is from my very
own neighborhood. Oh, I was not aware of this bizarre story.
I yeah, there's been a dispute tribunal. A woman named
Vicki is one just shy of three thousand dollars because
her neighbor Adam, removed the GPS collar from her chocolate
Burmese cat called Sid and released them two kilometers from
(39:48):
home on January ninth and said still, m I A,
oh my god, that's awful. Said, was regularly entering Adam's
property and fighting with his family's cat, including inside his house,
and so he put the cat. He put the cat
and a carrier intending to take it to the vet
to be like, whose cat is this? Contact the open
(40:09):
so it's like our well, get out released the cat
and discarded the collar. That is unacceptable. I also hate people,
and this is tribunal not like isn't that a legal lease?
I don't know, yees who the Disputes Tribune and also
has admitted that, Yeah, it's crazy. Yeah. So they two
(40:32):
and a half thousand dollars for the value of the cat.
I guess that's what the replacement costs of a chocolate burmese.
We can't replace love. You can't replace a soul. Two
hundred and thirty six dollars for the GPS collar and
the subscription, and two hundred dollars for search costs. He's
paid it, But where's the cat still? Yeah? Oh my god. No,
So the police is in charge. Police say the threshold
(40:53):
for criminal thrift charges hasn't haven't been met. It's still
my cat. Yeah yeah, and you've admitted that. Yeah, that's wild.
He has written an apology. But the cat's still m
I A and that obviously you're not coming back. They
took the tracker off, Yeah, I mean someone hat. They're
going to keep it, aren't they, Because that's a cute cat.
It's a cute cat.
Speaker 8 (41:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:14):
It's so sad. Also when people are like your cats
are my property. They're not dogs.
Speaker 3 (41:17):
You can't like train them to be in or locked
up or something. I hate this man and I don't
know him.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
I would be given that cat a red hot squirt
in the face of the garden hose, yeahs, and lucky
cat flaps it doesn't come in or anything like that.
This is what we want to know. Why are you
beefing with your neighbor? Is it the pets? Is it
the dogs? You're beefing with your neighbor over the dog.
Speaker 3 (41:39):
And I'm in a bit of a pickle about what
to do because the dog's still yapping and the and
I've been barking back at it, remember like a psychopath,
and putting one of those like dog buzzer things. But
that's not working. Yeah, So I've been yelling, and I've
been yelling. I'm like screaming. And then I went back
there the other day to sort of like at the dog,
(42:01):
and I noticed that the fence that's separating us is
absolutely crumbling. So I need to talk to them about
getting a new fence. But I've been barking at their dog.
They're not going to want to engage with me in
this conversation.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
It's giving big. I'm gonna have to pay for the
entire fence. Yeah, yeah, yeah, because I've been barking at
the dogs.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
As if we've been friends and I hadn't been calling
them names and like barking back at their dog aggressively
and getting right up to the fence and.
Speaker 1 (42:23):
Going one of those acoustic fences they put when they
build a motorway. Yes, and it'll bounce back to the
bounce and one of the and put a curve on
it like that. How much is this going to cost? Shoot?
How much? If my dog's bark it drives me nuts.
I don't know how anybody put you.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
I'm available for mc work and I'll just that I'll
get that. But yeah, like we're but I haven't had
like terrible Oh yes they have. Remember when that guy
it's giving big, you're the problem.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
It is.
Speaker 3 (42:52):
When I went over to town there they were working
on big like cars and stuff, and I was like,
please stop, and I offered him a bottle of red
wine to stop, and then at one point threatened to
come and punch me in the face.
Speaker 1 (43:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
When I was first renting an awklad Membran and we
throw the recycling after parties back down their drive when
he got up on my calm pissed and my ear
convince that's right.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
Yeah again, it sounds like all the Yeah, all of
these events common denominated the Okay, I'll wait a hundred
dollars at him. We want to take your calls now,
text us into the studio. Nine six nine six. What
do you what are you fighting with your neighbor about
at the moment? Allie? Why? Why? Why do you have
beef with your neighbor?
Speaker 9 (43:35):
Fun sex? Some one might drive away staring at the
ranger right now?
Speaker 1 (43:41):
Wait, so your is it because your neighbor has a ranger?
Speaker 9 (43:45):
Yes, and he gets home late at night and rangers.
Speaker 1 (43:49):
You just pushed the lot for the oncelot.
Speaker 9 (43:51):
Yeah, you push it twice at beep.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
Yeah, that's correct.
Speaker 9 (43:54):
He pushes it like five times.
Speaker 1 (43:57):
Wait till he's doing it on purpose. No, it's just
one of those I do to him like.
Speaker 9 (44:02):
You know, just chicken. Just when he gets inside two
minutes later, did I did I lock it another?
Speaker 3 (44:09):
All you need to do is get that neighbor an
ADHD diagnosis.
Speaker 9 (44:13):
Well, just like Hayley barking back at the dog, we
also have a ranger. So I take the keys upstairs
room and then when he does it, I do it.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
And why is the ranger v ranger? Wow, that's so funny,
and you're just like born as a ranger driver, very
silent during no. Yeah, I totally do this. I walk away.
It's a nice little beat. Sometimes I got normal. The
nine need to be no, not in the middle of
the night. And I know once I've locked it, I've
(44:41):
locked it. Yeah. Oh, well, good luck. It's the only
thing you can do. Canter like we're there, hitter Hello,
is it a baby?
Speaker 4 (44:54):
Check? Hello?
Speaker 9 (44:56):
Right?
Speaker 4 (44:56):
Wait?
Speaker 1 (44:57):
Why are you being wrong with your neighbor? Oh my god?
Speaker 8 (45:00):
She has this god awful cockatoo that just screamed and screamed.
Speaker 1 (45:05):
And oh my god god. Yeah, drumming the worst.
Speaker 7 (45:10):
But to make it worrise, she puts it outside every
morning at sunrise and will not.
Speaker 6 (45:15):
Bring it until like eight o'clock at night because she does.
Speaker 1 (45:21):
She puts it outside. But she put outside all day long.
Speaker 9 (45:25):
And so we've gone over so many times, like hey,
can you take your bird inside?
Speaker 1 (45:30):
And she just refuses to. She's this old lady. So
we just over the fence. So your chicken bones, yeah, yeah, yeah,
the birds in the cage when it's outside, it's not
turning around it and chicken. It just screams all day.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
Dude, They're so loud. My marching coach used to have them,
and you're walking like the grain.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
News is they live between forty to sixty years in captivity.
See not long to go not long. I know exactly
the noise because somebody once out my way had pitt cockatoos.
Let them out the bread into like a flock, and
they land in the tree at my house and just scream.
The screaming is insane. I actually shoot them. Have you
(46:18):
at allowed to?
Speaker 9 (46:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (46:24):
You know what, I'd get a cat and just chuck
it over. Let the cat. Yeah, do what? The spray
a little bit of salt water on that cage's hinges
and it will fall apart. And then the bird got
out of the cat. Yeah. Why are you fighting with
your neighbor at the moment? No, shortage. I don't think
anyone's getting along with their neighbor. No, it doesn't feel
like it doesn't. We moved into my mate's rental property
(46:47):
after he bought a new place. The neighbor had hated
him because his dog bark. Let's just say. She was
not impressed.
Speaker 4 (46:51):
The loon.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
We have my mates dog's brother, same letter. No, No,
my our old.
Speaker 3 (47:01):
Neighbor took the hedge and fence down between us. The
hees takes so long as a woman with a hedge, Yeah, yes,
asked me the question, have you cut your heads yet?
Speaker 1 (47:12):
No? I haven't born. When are you going around to
do it? Around? Yesterday? What did you do?
Speaker 3 (47:17):
He picked up the hedge traumor, took off his jumper,
was like, I'm here now, right, And then we looked
at it and it was sort.
Speaker 1 (47:26):
Of like blunt and I was like, nah, don't bother
tell the real story. It's corded. And I said, where's
your extension cord? And she said I don't have an
extension cord. So then she's like, you have to be
able to cut it this close to the PowerPoint. Yeah,
So I was like, if you can, so I need
to go around. I'm going to take my own equipment, right.
I don't want you, I'm going to do it myself.
He's trying, he's trying.
Speaker 3 (47:46):
It's given too little, too late, because that thing's been
growing like that since summer.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Right. Anyway, where was that text? My own personal beef
has gotten in here.
Speaker 3 (47:55):
Our old neighbor took the hedge and fence down between us,
replace it with a fence thirty centimeters away from the
boundary on their side.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
So they put it into their side. Yeah, put their.
Speaker 3 (48:05):
Washing line over hanging the fence and it would stand
there and yell, you can't touch this, it's on our side.
What there's now a strip of no man's land between
the fence and our new neighbor's boundary fence.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
Why would you do that? Because people are insane? Don't
People are insane? Why would but why not put the
fence on the boundary. Put the fence on the boundary.
That's so weird, so weird, and it'd be like no
man's land, so weird. M ah. Someone said, I'd like
to partake in your phone ontop it, but I can't.
(48:40):
This morning, I get on fantastically with my neighbors. We
are We pass wine over the fence, sugar and sometimes
even vape juice. There's vape juice in your cup of sugar. Hello, neighbor,
can I irie some vape juice? Does that? A few
milks just to get me through.
Speaker 3 (48:56):
Our neighbor wanted us to spend two and a half
grand replacing ten meters of fencing but using the same
rusty iron.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
No, my husband's a builder.
Speaker 3 (49:05):
We said, no, we'll build the whole fence new, and
you just have to pay half the materials, right, not
even pay for him about one grand. And she said
I don't like wooden fences. She wanted the metal. Now
she's taking us to the dispute stribunal. Oh God, retirement's
given her way too much time.
Speaker 1 (49:23):
Lord. I live next to a rest home. The old
lady on the balcony on the first floor kept locking
my cat in her room. I can see the cat
crying at the ranch lotter. I get climbing up onto
the balcony and banging on the ranch loot to say,
let my cat out. She was a lying manipulat of granny,
although a lovely one, needless of say. I've got a
trespass order from the rest hut. Yeah, what.
Speaker 7 (49:41):
A cat?
Speaker 1 (49:42):
Need I need to get her a cat?
Speaker 3 (49:44):
My neighbor plays loud music till eleven pm, so I
mowed my lawns at seven am.
Speaker 1 (49:48):
Oh yeah, okay, that's take get up, get start making noise. Yeah, yep, yep, yep.
Someone said, Hayle, you remember when you weed in someone's
carvid No, I would never someone weed in your cart
by carving. Yes, but again, Haley is the problem.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
The VM podcast network plays z m's Flesh one and Haley,
I need to talk to the producer.
Speaker 1 (50:11):
Girlies, our swifties, our loving Taylor swift goals now for
some context and nine six nine six, if you want
to give me your opinion, please, child. It was so
much volume of liquid that just came out of your
mouth in the studio lights, and it nearly made a reinbook.
Speaker 3 (50:30):
Yeah you okay, So here's some context. My best friend
Jess is up staying for the week. We just want
to put a time together. She's got some meetings up here,
which has been the whole week together. And if you
don't know anything about Jess, here's two things. She has
lots of tattoos and she loves heavy metal. And she
(50:52):
said she's got a little break free on Wednesday and
she was like, let's get a little tatoo. We'll get
it to just get a little something, little something, kind
of on a whim, right, We're gonna get a little tattoo.
Speaker 1 (51:00):
I was like, great, great, great, great, grand She was like,
you know, go through our little head folder of things
and be like, what something to among remob I was
going to get hit down to their No, we're not
going to go gang affiliate.
Speaker 2 (51:10):
Yeah, yeah, that.
Speaker 1 (51:12):
We're sure of, okay, mom with an arrow through it. No,
not that.
Speaker 3 (51:17):
But it is a very traditional tatoo that lots of
people get, and it's in a particular writing. And she
sends the suggestion to me. Now, this has been on
my inspiration board for a long time. It's the year
nineteen eighty nine.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
It is the year your birth year.
Speaker 3 (51:33):
Now, traditionally in tattooing, you get it in the traditional
writing and your year of birth or the or a
year of significance.
Speaker 1 (51:39):
And she sends it to me.
Speaker 3 (51:40):
She's like, let's get this nineteen o nine, the year
we were both born a week apart. And I said,
I've thought about this for quite some time, but I'm
aware that people will look at it and immediately the
majority of people will assume it's a Taylor Swift tattoo.
Speaker 6 (51:54):
Look like, yes, the numbers have been associated with Taylor
for long because she is also born that yeah she is.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
And then Rod looks so much better than both of them,
both of us, and has achieved a lot more success,
I a lot more.
Speaker 7 (52:09):
I think people look at you though and know you
were born in nineteen eighty nine.
Speaker 1 (52:16):
Then that sounded like an and I was going to
go so much use. I mean, like, it's not a
poser vibe. It's like, of course, but she's thirty. I
love you know.
Speaker 3 (52:30):
We listen to a lot of Taylor Swift on the station,
but it's it's no secret that she's not my music.
And so I'm like, I don't want people to think
I've got this big Taylor Swift tater and come up
to me and be like, tay.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
Day, Well, I think that as a tattooed girly.
Speaker 6 (52:45):
Also, I think that I can picture in my mind
the type of font that you're talking about, and that's no,
we're near Taylor vibes.
Speaker 1 (52:50):
Yeah, nobody's going to see you in the system of
a down MOSHPD and thing. Oh that's what was this
Taylor Swift fan? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're allowed to
have a spectrum of music. Task you are, you are,
and I do and I do.
Speaker 3 (53:02):
Someone said, get that tatoo, how Taylor is an icon
and you should be proud to share the same year
they called you.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
She's calling you all absolutely.
Speaker 6 (53:15):
I just think you know it's an honor to be
born in the same year as our queen.
Speaker 1 (53:18):
Yeah, but I know what you're doing is you're tuning
it into a Taylor swift.
Speaker 6 (53:22):
But it's also not like you don't It's also the
thing is it's your tattoo, right, so it represents you
and what you want on your body. How many are
you going to flash it to a bunch of people
because they're otherwise one?
Speaker 1 (53:35):
Isn't that traditional like tatoo? Right? She doesn't have one.
Speaker 7 (53:38):
Taylor's album is very like whiteboard.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
Marker because I just googled nineteen eighty nine tattoo Like
it's it's the equivalent of that s that we could
all draw at school.
Speaker 3 (53:51):
It's like classic tatoo riding. Oh yeah, okay, I just
needed the swift DAEs to how.
Speaker 1 (53:57):
You into prison? You maybe also looks present that font.
Speaker 3 (54:01):
Why would they think that would be the first year
I went to prison and went in the nineteen eighty
nine I was eighteen years old, fifty.
Speaker 1 (54:11):
I came on, I came on to this break morning,
and you bullied me. And I would never do that
to you just born in October as well? Yeah, yeah,
Tober nineteen eighty nine. You wanted to get ten eighty
nine or someone said Roman numerals, you can't get Tenay, mate,
I know, but you've got so much risk of going wrong,
(54:32):
right you chicken one thousand times? You're like, that's nineteen
eighty nine, isn't it? Anybody? Why does it say, you know,
ramen noodles on you and you're like, no, they're not
going to go that. Let's hold on them Roman Roman
numerals can't be confused for roman us noodles the same word. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (54:51):
The z M podcast network play z m's flesh Worn
and Hailey.
Speaker 1 (54:56):
Well the results are in. More than five thousand New
Zealanders between the ages of eighteen and seventy five have
opened up about the most private details and the latest
adult Toy Megastore survey. Now this is like Toy World
but for adults. So you would would these people trucks?
Speaker 4 (55:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (55:13):
Yeah they do. And you love your Star Wars stuff.
They've got lots of that.
Speaker 3 (55:18):
Little we lightsabers with these little little ones, I don't
know lightsambers did that at the end. Yeah, and they Yeah,
so would these people be customers. I don't know how
they maybe may you know, if maybe there's more liberally,
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (55:35):
Well, so forty of those five thousand New Zealanders between
eighteen and seventy five admitted that they had cheated on
a partner forty So that's two and five have been
unfaithful behind their partner's back, right, And fifteen percent of
those who cheated did it with one of their partner's
friends or family members. Fifty percent cheated one of their
(56:00):
own close friends. So a lot of these affairs are
had been close to home. You don't need to go
far to find out who they're are they're cheating with.
Only twenty nine percent of those who admitted to cheating
said they've been physically unfaithful. Well, twenty two percent admitted
to emotional cheating.
Speaker 3 (56:20):
So just emotional cheating being like we're messaging, we're getting clients,
we're sharing things with someone, but you haven't physically acted.
Speaker 1 (56:28):
On it, which some people do see is worse, you
know what I mean, like establishing a connection, personal betrayal. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Well,
well you've got any other stats because we ran a
court of the day, they said, have you cheated. The
options were yes, but I never got caught, Yes, but
I admitted to it, and are no. Eighty percent of
people said no, which does not stack up with faith,
(56:49):
or we've just got listens that are lying.
Speaker 3 (56:51):
I just think the vast majority of people that saw
this quicker little pole that we shoved up who had
cheated were like, well, I'm not partaking.
Speaker 1 (56:59):
I'm not leaving an evidence, whereas were like, I will
let them know. So nine percent of people said yes
and I admitted to it, and ten percent said yes
but I never got caught. Wow, okay, okay, this is
some responsible anonymous. I was sixteen and I kissed another
boy at the after ball. The boyfriend was barely a
bloody boyfriend, but I had said I had cheating. Release
(57:22):
yourself of that, Gil, I would say, you are not
a cheater. I love that you're still holding on to
that guilt. Yeah, that's fine. I think I kissed a
boy when I had a boyfriend when I was a teenager.
We discussed it. Have you ever cheated? Someone said, not fully,
just hooked up, not anything more than a drunken pash. Wow, Okay,
I've never cheated on someone. I was in a relationship
with But I've been the other woman on three separate occasions. Okay,
(57:47):
I know.
Speaker 3 (57:48):
Every time I've said that's a them problem, not a
you problem, the text machine floods with like you can't
say that, Like who We've got to look out for
each other. Yeah, but I'm like the person with the
partner they the dirty doc.
Speaker 1 (58:02):
The one not on me. Yes, I needed to test
whether it sex driver was dead or just my marriage.
It was defferentely just my marriage. Whoa, Okay, whoa? I
love that. Also, you're running a social experiment during women
within yourself and your marriagecies? Do I not want to
(58:23):
have sex at all? Or just with my husband? Conclusion
results Anonymous plays, yes, I cheated on my eggs after
I found out he had a cat fishing account throughout
our entire three year relationship, talking to woman the entire time.
I didn't get caught, but he sure did for cheat.
Speaker 3 (58:46):
Like and again, my opinions do vary from a lot.
I kind of feel like, if you've found out it's
not tit for tat. But I feel like if you've
found out that they've been doing this for months and
months and months, you're not actually in a relationship.
Speaker 1 (58:58):
Do you know what I mean? Like he's he's mentally leftship.
That's worth respecting anonymous? Please what Harby doesn't know can't
hurt him. I want to be polyamorous, but he said no,
So now I'm doing that. Okay, So just on that.
Out of this study that asked to five thousand kiwis,
thirty five percent of gay respondents. I guess gay lisbien
(59:23):
respondents reported trying non monogamy, compared with eleven percent of
heterosexual respondents. Yeah, it's the huntergetherer man, provide woman, bear children,
no other man allowed. I mean, but so that when
but also the gays that it's all hunting and gethering. Yeah,
they're just gathergether together. Yeah, five percents. Low right, he
(59:52):
was a little on the low side, but fascinating responses.
Speaker 2 (59:57):
Does the n podcast needwork?
Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
The fact of the day day day day day?
Speaker 11 (01:00:10):
Do do do.
Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
This idea for fact that the day comes from Marshall?
A American listener of ours. Well, hello, Marshall, I don't
know if that California, and I don't know where you've
gone for the moment, he said, my grat animal migration.
Oh okay, had tickled his lately, and he's like, you
have a look into this geese. I get the geese
(01:00:38):
over my head all the time. I don't know about migrating.
I think those By the way, we need to get
rid of those Canadian geese. They don't belong here. That
seems so racist. I did, didn't it, But we do
need to get rid of Back to wherever that accent
is from, because he said when he was growing up
(01:00:59):
living in Californy, he was in the path of the
old monarch butterfly migration. What yeah, monk butterflies, he was
in the path of us. Someone. Butterflies migrate from Canada
to Mexico for the winter and fly over four and
a half thousand kilometers. But here's the twist. No single
monarch does the entire trip. They have to like stop,
(01:01:21):
lay lay eggs, lay eggs. So they turned into the caterpillars,
and the caterpillars eat the thing. And the caterpillars eat
like five oranges, and then four strawberries and then like
three blueberries.
Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
They don't all eat that much. That was a hungry,
hungry caterpillar. He was particularly hungry.
Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
Just feeding them. He's also the caterpillars on his impact
now and hardly eats. Yeah, the skinny skinny like a word.
He's in the cocona. He's like, why is it not working?
And they're like, bro, you had to eat more. Ah,
Like the cocona bill like yeah, it's like like the
skin of the kind of hanging off of it. Yeah. Yeah.
He's like no, no, I've just started running. Yeah. Yeah,
(01:02:00):
you didn't even touch any of those five apples, give it.
That's just four oranges, three blueberries, two strawberries.
Speaker 4 (01:02:06):
Hungry, Hungry.
Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
Capilla on the jab is a really funny book to write.
And the wings, the wings would never form, so it
takes three to five generations for the for the monarch
butterflies to complete the journey. So the butterfly that left
Canada is never the one that arrives in Mexico. That's
(01:02:29):
like how long it take? It takes them well months,
because it starts getting cold in Canada. Yeah, probably gonna
start happening soon as the northern hemns fist. Summer kind
of comes to a close that they can feel that
the temperature is getting cooler, so they just start this
migration south because we all the birds fly south for
four winter sort of thing, but apparently the monarch butterflies
do too. You're going to do sharks this week, Well sharks,
(01:02:52):
we're going to cover some migration. So there's also a
super generation of a special batch of minark butterfly eyes.
So the normal summer monarc lives like three to five weeks,
basically that classic story spends all its life eating and
then comes out of the cocoon, looks pretty cool, flies around,
laying eggs, and then just straight up dies. So you're moral,
(01:03:14):
there is why bother? Why by the trying? Like what's
the game?
Speaker 5 (01:03:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
Yeah, like imagine what's it all for? What's it all about?
If you put a sort of human spin on it.
You know, you work hard, you do all this stuff,
you get to retirement age, you get to enjoy your
wings dead did goodness on. So it's three weeks normally,
and so there's every six generations, there's a mega generation
(01:03:43):
that lasts a lot longer. Yes, sucking, Yeah we are.
We are the mega generation of minork butterflies. So yeah,
today's migration fact is that monaic butterflies leave Canada when
it starts getting called to fly to a specific spot
and mix it, by the way, but it takes them
three to five generations to do it. Fact of the day,
(01:04:06):
day day, day, day.
Speaker 3 (01:04:09):
Yeah, do do do do do do doo doo do
doo doo doop doo doo doop doo doo doo doo
doo doo dooo doo.
Speaker 1 (01:04:21):
I would like to know from you what weird habit
or behavior did you notice on a date, A little
weird behavior that you went, I think we're doing that.
That's a red flag for me.
Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Yeah, or just something so odd that you just clocked
and went, huh okay. So there was a guy who's
on a date with a woman.
Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
It was all going well. He thought it was, you know,
having a nice time.
Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
Notice that she was on her phone a little bit,
like her phone was just sitting there, maybe, you know,
sending a little email. Maybe she's high, a high falutin
lawyer or something like that. Yeah, and she just pops
to the toilet and sees her phone. Now, wit, let's
not be high mighty. If someone's left their phone open.
Speaker 1 (01:04:57):
Oh yeah, I'll be looking to the toilet. This person
acting weird left their phone.
Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
She was acting weird, left her phone on the table,
went to the toilet. He looks over and there is
a notes app open and she's taking notes. She's not
only she's got like a list, like a checklist. So
some of the things on it were smell semi colon.
Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
Good, okay, good good good.
Speaker 3 (01:05:21):
Draw was another one semi colon strong. Right, he was
scoring high the list.
Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
To him, he was like, the hell is Hugh Jack
Like this is a reason she's single, right.
Speaker 3 (01:05:35):
Because you know this was their first day. You know
that every single day that this woman has been on you,
she's got.
Speaker 1 (01:05:39):
A little list.
Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
He walks and she goes, okay, fashion sub what smell
like this? And then just as they're talking, is is
monitoring you, like checklisting you and like going okay, little
note there, little note there.
Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
Anyway called her out on it.
Speaker 3 (01:05:56):
When she came back, she was like, Oh no, it's
just like a little fun thing that doing. You know,
just sort of remember he was like, that's just like
I'm not I'm here to connect with you. Yeah, yeah,
like marked like this is some kind.
Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
Of it's giving love on the spectrum. I mean I
know almost the exact same thing happened on Love on
the Spectrum.
Speaker 3 (01:06:11):
Yes, well, no comment of whether or not she was
autistic and that's why she was doing it. I mean,
that was not part of the story.
Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
But then there would have been people that have been
on dates of people and they've just literally been on
their phone.
Speaker 3 (01:06:21):
Yeah, oh my god, that would I'd give it two
pickups of the phone. Little if they're sitting like that,
maybe they're just going, you know, letting someone know where
they are.
Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
Yeah, they're just going like that. It was the third time.
I'd be like, somebody said, sorry, I just I really
got a messages. It's important. I mean, waiting all day,
I've got a message. Who cares go for it on
their phone? Yeah? Wrong, Like I'm sorry, Am I boring you?
Speaker 4 (01:06:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:06:45):
You're boring? Yeah, it does sounds that you're boring. I
would say that. Okay, well I'll wait one hundred dollars
a him. We want you to call us now, text
us nine six nine six. What was the odd behavior
that you noticed on a date, Nina? What strange did
you notice on a date?
Speaker 4 (01:07:02):
Hi? So I went on a date with a little guy.
I was in my twenties and he picked me up
from home and we stopped at the pecking station on
the way and I looked around his car as you do,
and found this ticklist of all the things that he
needed to do to prepare for the date.
Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
Oh my god, there's kind of cute cut. No, you
know what was on the.
Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
Last It was kind of cute, but it was a
cringey because there was like really every step listed, like
having a shower.
Speaker 1 (01:07:37):
Breaking down my busy day. I'll put hair, shower, remember
to show. Yeah. Sometimes when I got on a date,
I just forget to shower. You get there, you u
we're not is trim pubes on the list?
Speaker 4 (01:07:48):
No, that was a part, but he's you needed to
tut his nails, okay. So it was listed separately as
fingernails and told nails.
Speaker 1 (01:07:57):
Well listen, yeah, yeah, we appreciate a cut. I do
hate with a fingernail cut is out of sync with
the toenail cuts. So yeah, yeah, you do them all once.
I like to do them all at once. Actually, currently
just chewing my nails down. So how was the date though, Nina?
After the petrol station, was it okay or well?
Speaker 4 (01:08:20):
I was a little bit not sure if he's you know,
a creepy. I was quite stand off and.
Speaker 1 (01:08:26):
I think you ruined. What was the creepiest thing on
the list.
Speaker 4 (01:08:31):
I think it was the nails. I don't know. It
just cuts me out that somebody would even have to
write it down, you know, you kind of standard maintenance.
Speaker 3 (01:08:39):
And yeah, not wrong, Yeah, I kind of that he
wrote a list though, like he's gearing up for this
day of himself.
Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
It does, and you actually blew up, Nina, that could
have been the man in your dream. He should have
put on the checklist filled the before the date, like
you don't want to be the gas station Nina. Thank you,
I'm asking you for half the guest Anonymous, What was
the weird behavior on the date? So my friend went
(01:09:14):
on a date yep, and halfway through the date, the
guy got a parking ticket.
Speaker 4 (01:09:20):
He lost his mind about it and asked her to.
Speaker 9 (01:09:26):
Pay half of it.
Speaker 1 (01:09:29):
My god, these baby men. At least you're saying seeing
this behavior initially, not like six months on the track
to the plant like we.
Speaker 3 (01:09:38):
Actually had to go.
Speaker 4 (01:09:39):
We pretended to be also at the same place picking
up some food and jumped into them and took her
home with us because.
Speaker 1 (01:09:47):
It just got we got a awkward weird And did
she end up ever paying half of the ticket?
Speaker 9 (01:09:52):
No, she blocked them and moved on with her life.
Speaker 1 (01:09:56):
What's so embarrassing? A little anonymous thank you? Keep your
takes coming in nine six nine sects. The weird date behavior.
We'll get to the rest of these next is some
dcs so bad.
Speaker 3 (01:10:09):
I literally said before that the dating scene in New
Zealand is terrible, as people in New Plymouth told me.
Speaker 1 (01:10:14):
Yeah, no, wonder what was the weird date moment move
that you notice?
Speaker 9 (01:10:20):
Have it?
Speaker 1 (01:10:21):
You notice? Someone said, I've noticed a running theme with
guys I've been on dates with us burping at the
dinner table. Basic tableman is I don't I know you're together? Fine?
How long you've got to trap them?
Speaker 3 (01:10:37):
You've got to trap them, you get them done into
a place where you're like, oh, yeah, we're together now.
Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
But then even I do find burping a bit gross,
like I'd rather far.
Speaker 3 (01:10:47):
Yeah, I actually burps are like you can catch your
control that and you can you can just get out
of the way.
Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
People are just like weird date behavior. Went on a
date with a guy who counted how many times I
chewed my feet? What? Sorry?
Speaker 5 (01:11:06):
Ah?
Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
Someone said they went on a date with someone who
did fart when they were out for dinner and then
like I had a really good laugh about it. I'm
kind of I can't find that funny if they started
laughing at me too. He started telling me something about
myself and I was like, what are you talking about that? Man?
He's like, no, sorry, that's the other person I'm going
(01:11:28):
on a date with this week. No, no, no, no no,
is that a no you know you love that?
Speaker 5 (01:11:36):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:11:36):
No, that's not man, it's probably the other girl you're
talking worse. Well, that's the thing. If you're juggling a
few dates, is someone who has juggle before, it is
hard to be like, is that the one with the thing?
You know, stuff going on? Did he have the case?
Just the one that laughed? When is this the one
that also laughed when I farted at the table or
(01:11:56):
the one that gove me in discerning have I fund
in front of this? Because it was one of them,
I wasn't going to do it in front of I
do it in front of this one. Maybe you do
need to open up the notes, app Yeah, maybe just
make some notes. Afterwards, I went on a date with
someone who had a vape on a lanyard. Okay, that's
an e I mean I find vaits anyway. I know
(01:12:17):
everyone does it, but like he down to use it,
not packing it up with his hand. So what is
he going down on the table? Was bobbing down to
use it rather than picking up. It was a ten
minute date and then I asked if I could go home.
I don't think you even need to ask if you
can go home? You can I go home? Please? I
(01:12:38):
will be leaving. Yeah, home please. A guy I went
on a date with showed me a hold of pictures
of ducks. It's nice baby ducks, some of the most baby.
Do you think he had ducks? I don't know. I imagined, yes,
these are photos of his ducks, not just dunks. Or
(01:13:00):
he'd just gone to the park and see an Indian
runner duck. Really gets me going. I've never Indian. Do
yourself a favor and jurgle Indian runner duck, and it
actually been my duck of choice for us to get ducks.
I know they're a bit skinny looking, Yeah, they stand
up right. They're not like your traditional wad leg I
hate those. That's the favorite ducks of those ones hanging
(01:13:26):
in the Chinese Why in the window? Where had it
been there?
Speaker 4 (01:13:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
I wouldn't hang some I would hang sausages in the window.
I was trying to lure people into my sausage store.
Actually yeah, maybe that's why. But you'd think they'd be
in a tempered, controlled room. They're in a heated thing
against the window that is hanging in the window. You
might have on your hands as like a molded fake
plastic one. Looks you remember that sushi shop got me
(01:13:57):
and I better? I like, I thought it was a
free one. And tell the rice is glossier. I'm just
care peaking duck. That's not the breed of duck. That's
how you cook it. What just get park ducks be peaking.
I don't think any duck will do.
Speaker 11 (01:14:15):
I think.
Speaker 1 (01:14:18):
A domestic duck regular origin from China with a creamy
white plumage and an orange bill can be peaking. If
you put park ducks donald d donald donald duck thing
on a hook, a definitely peking deafy duck could be
(01:14:41):
a peaking and you won't notice the difference. We're going
to get some peaking duck pancakes. It's a barley duck. Ye,
there can be peaking as well. It looks like it
could be peaking. A silver bantam is the ones.
Speaker 3 (01:14:54):
I went on a date to the hot pools with
a guy and he flipped back and his balls get
bobbing the bubbles.
Speaker 1 (01:15:04):
He asked if I liked it? Could has balls been
made into a pecking duck? Anything can?
Speaker 2 (01:15:13):
Network plays? It ends flesh worn, and I.
Speaker 3 (01:15:17):
Think a discussion needs to occur between the three of
us as dear genuine friends that want nothing but the.
Speaker 1 (01:15:25):
Best for all of us. Where's this going? Fletchers? Just
start with you?
Speaker 3 (01:15:32):
No, no, I just think you and I need to
discuss something. When Vaughn can't hear, do you want to
not be able to listen for.
Speaker 1 (01:15:40):
You know? Now? We made them get rid of that
pussy t shirt.
Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
Yeah, the white one that looked like it smelt and
it was gone kind of yell it was a pussy
t shirt. We kept saying, wait, don't wear that pussy
t shirt in the studio anymore because it's not person.
Speaker 1 (01:15:55):
He's coming in and we said it looks per se
and he's like, it's not pussy. That was the color
I bought it. Don't listen. I'm just all, what do
you mean? This looks quite white? It's starting to look pussy,
And I think we need to call it here. Oh no,
what's washing it? Follow my lead, right, welcome back for hi.
(01:16:16):
We just you know, it looks there's a couple of.
Speaker 9 (01:16:22):
Shirt.
Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
I think there's white long shirt for so long, so long.
I just let you know with such love. It's starting
to look a little pussy. They stopped making these shirts.
You know. I love this ship. It's an a color.
They're stopped making all of my favorite stuff. It's just
looking It's just I just clocked it before and I
(01:16:45):
went gray yellow. I think it's a Henley cut. Yeah, yeah,
long sleeve, but itally gone gray.
Speaker 2 (01:16:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:16:55):
How are you going to shoots? It must be eight
years old. Yeah, I just know we're it and every
other day. Last time, we just let it go so
long with the other that other ship, which is just gone,
by the way, it just went straight to the rags.
It didn't even get to retirement around the farm. That
was the color. The T shirt was pertinent. It's just
(01:17:22):
this color. I've just looked at it. It's sort of dull.
It's blue. It's it's almost I saw it under a
certain light. It almost looks like I had a blue
huge And what about the pets? What's going on pets
are destroyed. H and it just it's started to look
like it smells. Also, when you say they don't make
these anymore, that's because fashion moves on. It looks like
(01:17:46):
a man's like the oldie time pajamas, a religious underwear,
religious under undergarments with its little like four little received.
Now I'm saying, I just kind of do a long
sleeve something. I just actually found a waffle one. Everybody
(01:18:08):
does these in a waffle. I don't know we're we're
in texture now. No, no, no, no, I'm not. I'm
not wearing a waffle because do you find when we
text you like if you spell eggs or food on there?
It kind of it really does well. I just think
it is waffle?
Speaker 5 (01:18:24):
Why?
Speaker 1 (01:18:24):
Why is everything waffle? I don't know, everything needs to
be waffle? Stop it maybe a flesh do they? No,
I don't like waffle. Do that my waffle? Do this?
A cat will scratch and it'll just take one little
coming up sleep on a waffle? Do they and woke
up and had a waffle cut? That was funny? Anyway?
I just fear well to that one. I think bad.
Do you want me to get rid of this?
Speaker 3 (01:18:46):
A couple of people coming in for interviews and stuff,
and I don't have anything again right now my gym
gear and I look more together.
Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
They might think you've taken off your suit and you're
in your Mormon under there. In podcast Needwork, there was
a techti it was doing the rounds of the weekend
where someone was like, I've just gone home from two
months away in Thailand, and I had forgotten just before left,
I got pizzas out, and there's been a pizza sitting
on my bench for two months, and it's just like
(01:19:13):
this ball of mold. It was, yeah because the box,
yeah right, yeah, yeah, yeah, although I feel like like
most of the pizzas from the chain.
Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
Plates probably.
Speaker 1 (01:19:28):
Too much, probably checked out the microwave for seconds of
the glass of water, so it looks arounds around that
check on the air for good for you. Before when
we were flatting years and years and years ago, got
sausages out, like an un goodly amount of sausages, cooked
them all and had that plan of like we'll just
keep beating these out of the fridge till they're gone.
(01:19:48):
But like when the last person got some, they said,
I'll put them in the warm and to keep it
warm and they put them in the warmer drawer, of
which we never ever used. No, no, no, no, no
use it until we came to move out. Was just
doing the clean and opened. It was never like, no
it never smelled. That was weird about it. Yeah, no,
(01:20:11):
no no, they were like reedy homecomes, okay, media home.
Not stink. It never had. But the magasin theilm, yeah,
because it didn't think because the magas we eating maybe
thing on some of the stink. But that was that's discussing.
I've done this once. But it was like maybe in
the microwaved left something because you know sometimes all the time,
and then you got it. Because I put something in
(01:20:33):
the microwave and I got it out. I was like,
that's not even cooked or I'd like to frost it.
And then I was like, oh, there's another bowl in
there and it had mold in there. Yeah, they've been
in there for like a week. Double second. The especially
if your microwave is one of those blow bench.
Speaker 3 (01:20:46):
Microwaves, I'll definitely take it with I've got a freezer
in the in the garage and there was meat in
it and I was like, my god, my mom's left
all this meat and the freezern start eating that. And
I took out some chicken pressed to frost it, and
I do in this phone. I've just remembered that was
like a month ago.
Speaker 1 (01:21:02):
And chicken breast, well, at least it's in the front.
It'll be schlimy. It'll be so schlimy. Okay, this is
what we want to know. We want to ask the
question has this happened to you? I wait, one hundred
dollars a him nine six nine six. When did you
just straight up forget about some food? Yeah? Here, so
when did you forget about food?
Speaker 7 (01:21:23):
So?
Speaker 5 (01:21:24):
I bought some donuts from Dunkin Donuts and brought them
in for work.
Speaker 4 (01:21:30):
Yeah, and kept them home. And it's a massa box.
Speaker 5 (01:21:33):
Where the hell are you going to pot it?
Speaker 4 (01:21:34):
Put it in the oven?
Speaker 5 (01:21:36):
We need to have a frozen pizza because I love
frozen pizzas. Turn the oven on, support about it. And
it wasn't until I smelt some burning smell. Yeah, I
realized I lift the box with the doughnuts in the oven.
Speaker 9 (01:21:50):
Which is.
Speaker 1 (01:21:52):
Wait, was this the same day or had they been
there a while like you'd forgotten about the donuts?
Speaker 4 (01:21:56):
I think it was the same day.
Speaker 5 (01:21:58):
I can't remember a good while ago, but it's probably
the same day because yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:22:02):
You're forget about donuts getting home and not immediately eating
every single donut.
Speaker 1 (01:22:07):
It's very good from you.
Speaker 5 (01:22:09):
Oh, I probably ate them.
Speaker 1 (01:22:10):
It works for you, honest.
Speaker 6 (01:22:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:22:12):
And did the donuts survive? Did they survive the oven?
Or was actually actually nicer?
Speaker 5 (01:22:17):
No, they did not survive the oven. They were stuck
to the box.
Speaker 1 (01:22:20):
Oh no, Oh what a waste? What a waste? Tissa?
Speaker 2 (01:22:27):
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (01:22:28):
Eatie? When did you forget about food?
Speaker 9 (01:22:30):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:22:31):
How's the guys good?
Speaker 5 (01:22:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (01:22:33):
Yeah, so me and my wife around my parents place.
Speaker 1 (01:22:35):
For coffee, and I didn't pick you old enough to
be married? Sounded twenty one tops? How do we thank
thank you? That's that's a compliment.
Speaker 11 (01:22:46):
I'm like thirty, but I always get mistaken for older
because I've got a bed and people always think I'm
Since I was eighteen, people thought I'm in my thirties.
Speaker 1 (01:22:55):
Really, okay, flirting with a nice platonic Yeah, yeah, well,
probably be got to know you her girlfriend. Yeah, well
maybe we can come to some sort of arrangement on
that scale. Okay, Well let's move on.
Speaker 11 (01:23:15):
You've gone around me, so anyway, parents gave me some
beef Snitchell. Now they didn't want it, so we're like,
oh you can for some free meat. Stuck it, snuck
it under the put it under the car seat because
it was like a hot day, and just left it
there to you know, so when we drove home it
was all good and just completely forgot about it, both
(01:23:35):
of us. And then it just sat there for months
and we kept blaming each other being like.
Speaker 9 (01:23:39):
Who the heck's left wet clothes in the car and.
Speaker 11 (01:23:44):
Figure out why there was this horrible smell coming from
the car. Finally found it like months later and slid
right underneath the sea. Oh no, absolutely serial.
Speaker 1 (01:23:54):
Do you think that could be the Indian marriage?
Speaker 11 (01:23:58):
We're both pretty, both pretty to sit with each other.
Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
Yeah, that on the market.
Speaker 2 (01:24:04):
That was the one that had to deal with it.
Speaker 1 (01:24:06):
Yeah, smells staying with me if you're with me, and
we would have worked to be with you because he
has a wife. He probably just doesn't attracted to men,
and it's just no transcend, do you honestly, until it
comes to actually anything your about the sorry about an
(01:24:27):
appropriate the already you can just go with it. Just
takes some messages. I've found some garlic bread in the
arm pocket of a camping chair the summer after that
cam Mamafia rallies. That stuff would have that would have
aged Greene, would have saved her. Yeah, someone said, oh
my god, I've done the exact same thing Vorn said
(01:24:49):
before with beef sausages. You chuck them in the warming drawer,
and then you're like, who don't on the warming drawer?
Turn off? Forget about the warming drawer even exists. The
modern ovens don't have warming d but I've got keeping it. Yeah, yeah,
it's a storage I left frozen blue cod and my
Louis Verton handbag for two nights. What a sentence? A sentence?
(01:25:14):
What have we ever had a sentence like that into
the studio before? Never? I I don't. Somebody said I
had a protein shaker. Here we go. Oh I So
I always have my protein shaker at the gym, or
I walk home drinking it, and then as soon as
I get home, I wash it out, or if I
have it at the gym, wash it out there, because
even when even you leave a little bit in there,
(01:25:36):
it's the most putrid smelled, rotten smell. The way I
left it in my room and I had forgotten about
it going on holiday for a few weeks. Came back.
It turned out the lid had been slightly opened and
a fly got in there. The whole thing was full
of maggots. Oh yeah, smell is supposed to be the
worst thing I've ever smelled away. Yeah, that was gone.
(01:25:56):
But days of airing out the room to get rid
of the smell, you never get the spirit of it out,
the spirit of the way. You've got to move house.
I had a house inspection and they were just doing,
you know, the average checks. They opened the oven and
there were meat patties and they were green and fuzzy,
and they said, one of those been in there, and
they looked at it. I said, I got no idea.
I can't even remember putting meat patties. That's so funny.
(01:26:18):
Obviously you don't use the oven much, no, yeah, croc
actually yeah, yeah, first day back after summer holidays, kids,
what a lunch box whatever was in there? Yeah, it
was almost living. We found sheep's heads in the warming
drawer at work. What who bloody put sheep's heads and
(01:26:39):
the warming drawer at work? They said, though I bought
them in for Stevie just told me to put them
in there, and he's forgotten about them. But they're in
there for a while. Can I stop doing what? I'm sorry?
That's a written morning our wedding. I don't think any
was that cane bro Okay in the thirties. Now he's
(01:27:00):
approaching middle age. He's like, life's not exactly working out
exactly how I thought. I think I's working out fine. Yeah,
black So I did two a couple of years ago,
and now I'm just all about Eddie.
Speaker 2 (01:27:12):
The z N podcast networks play end Fletchorn and Hale.
Speaker 3 (01:27:16):
Will we both flip Vaughn and I you'll flip Vorn
and I get colonoscopies.
Speaker 1 (01:27:22):
You're a Jew. I'm gonna what I am due for one?
Like you said you're a Jew. I'm sorry you do
not say I am? Do you.
Speaker 4 (01:27:37):
I am?
Speaker 1 (01:27:37):
Do you either? I said your jew? It sounds like
she said you're a Jew. No, you did make it
sound like what I said, you're a Jew?
Speaker 3 (01:27:45):
And your jew for your colonoscopy at the end of
this year. Correct, yes, yes, actually in a couple of months. Yeah,
I get I get them every year because I've got
serrated poopsis syndrome, do you know? And I love talking
about this because I did receive a message from a listener.
I'm not saying, you know, bloody, so many lives out here,
but you know one of our lovely listeners is no
(01:28:06):
one talks about it. And then we were talking about colin.
She was like, I've never had one before, got one
and she had amus full of polyps.
Speaker 1 (01:28:12):
Poets, so honestly full of polyps. Well, anyway, if you
ever have any suspicions, it's so normal to go and
get them checked, especially now like so many people in
their thirties and forties are getting like colon cancer totally.
Speaker 3 (01:28:30):
Yeah, well, so many people sent me this over the
over the weekend for the next colon prep because if
you haven't had one before, it is a journey and
you drink all this stuff and it's like not very tasty,
and it flushes you out, yes clear as you completely
and you out four hours.
Speaker 1 (01:28:49):
You hate it. It's like not that fun. It's not fun.
It's the next time is going to be more fun.
Speaker 3 (01:28:54):
Because what do we own collectively as a trio and
just slushy And people are putting their colon prep into
the ninja slushy and making slushies and making a fun
out of that.
Speaker 1 (01:29:04):
What are they using as the base, because it's it's
just sugar elected water, sugar blending up there, ing it
up and then having a little slush mocktails out of it,
adding a bit of lime, adding a bit of this.
Speaker 3 (01:29:21):
As long as you don't mess with the like you
still have all the powder. I'm doing this the next time,
absolutely colon prep with the slushy machine.
Speaker 1 (01:29:29):
At least it's put into the fun and colon prep.
It is the only fun back and then afterwards because
your your your ring gets so spicy, you have a
cold cup. Well, speaking of ninja slushies, I received over
the weekend a message from our dear friends and Obia
and a mirror Core in Chicago, and she has a
(01:29:50):
Ninja Jill slushy. What's the I'm sorry double so it's
one machine. You can two flavors.
Speaker 3 (01:30:00):
Because we looked into this and we looked at the
big bloody you know, huge ones.
Speaker 1 (01:30:05):
I know, I know they I don't know if they're
going to be coming to New Zealand. America has jewel, which.
Speaker 3 (01:30:12):
Because then if we got a jewel, we've got throll
because we've got a single and a jewel.
Speaker 1 (01:30:16):
Yeah, so there's three flavors. I know, I know. And
then you've got double the margaritas because that's the same
if you're hosting a big party, right you. You turn
through it and you're like, we gotta wait, We've got
to wait. Oh, I'm busting for a weas after that podcast,
I'll tell you you are allowed to listen to it.
(01:30:38):
There's no rules when we were allowed to listen to it,
just says here, I'm busting for a week. I read it. Okay,
I read it. Give us a review. Play Zim's Fletchborne
and Hailey
